In earlier times we ran home to watch Pinky Lee, Foggy and Andy Devine, Howdy Doody, and later Captain Cy and the Popeye cartoons. We never missed the Lone Ranger, Wild Bill Hickok, Sky King, Fury, Zorro, Annie Oakley, Lassie, the Cisco Kid, or Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. Wesley Hensley lived on Chelan and we walked together to school. His father was a fireman and later became Fire Chief of Wenatchee. Wes Hensley is a lawyer now.
