Why is so many on here slagging Sports Personality of the Year? Thought it was a great night and a very worthy winner in Andy Murray! But just realised not a good night for the English amongst the winners besides Andy, Leigh Halfpenny, A J McCoy, Alex Ferguson, Warren Gatland & The British Lions! Oh sorry was there a couple of Englishmen in the Lions after a few of the Welsh boys got injured? :-)

The British & Irish Lions entered the BBC SPOTY awards in fine style tonight and rounded off 2013 with the 'Team of the Year' award, while Warren Gatland claimed the 'Coach of the Year' award and Leigh Halfpenny finished just behind Andy Murray in the race for the Sports Personality of the year award. Well done Andy Murray! Yeah friends from Scotland we know he's Scottish a Celt and all that. But he's also British and I for one am very proud that a Brit has finally won Wimbledon after 77 years. By the way the BRITISH Lions were also amazing with 10 Welshman etc etc - hats off to Warren Gatland too. What an amazing weekend for British sport.
