It's a good, stupid movie if you're still up for it, and it has Vivica Fox (who was Copperhead in Kill Bill)!
Warren is feeling a cold coming on, and we're trying to nip it in the bud before our our trip to Northern Spain this week. That means...movie day at home! Some of my favorite movies with actresses over 40: *The Thomas Crown Affair (Rene Russo is spectacular!) *High Art (Patricia Clarkson and Ally Sheedy play damaged very well) *The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (Dame Judy Dench, Maggie Smith, Celia Imrie - a talented cast) *Kill Bill (not for the faint of heart, but I do love me some Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu - the inspiration for LateBloomer Lily, Vivica Fox, and Daryl Hannah) *Julia (such an under-appreciated movie staring the incredible Tilda Swinton) *Boogie Nights (Did you know Julianne Moore is my inspiration for the character Ivy in the LateBloomers series?) *Enough Said (Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Katherine Keener in the same film? Heaven.) *Stranger than Fiction (Emma Thompson and Queen Latifah finish the weirdest book anyone has ever written) *Bridesmaids (Oh wow, so many GREAT actresses over 40. Loved th ...

how Vivica Fox got this short role in Kill Bill is beyond me
Did anyone else notice that the cereal that Vivica Fox had the hidden gun in on Kill Bill was called "Kaboom"? Well done Mr. Tarantino...

Great News! Vivica Fox, one of the stars of Independence Day with Will Smith and “Copperhead” of the Kill Bill series, will be joining us at the HCSI 2nd Annual Gift of Life Gala at the Vizcaya Museum in Miami, Florida on Saturday, April 20th. Benefits from the Gala will go towards treatment for financially strapped teens and adults suffering from addiction through the not-for-profit HCSI.ORG.
To my Idol Quentin Tarantino, You should totally make a sorta sequal to the Kill Bill series where Copper Head's (Vivica Fox) daughter Nikki grows up and wants revenge on Black Mamba for killing her mom only to find her an old woman and on her death bed so she goes after her daughter Bebe who has learned the ways of her mother. How badass would that be? I mean Black Mamba told Nikki after killing her mother in front of her that if she still felt raw about what happened...she'd be waiting. BOOM!! So Mr. Tarantino if you need a co director ill be awaiting your call :)
Gentlemen, if your cellphones have the ringtone of the whistling by the character Vivica Fox from the movie Kill Bill part I, please keep the damned phones silent in the gents' room. An innocent person who was peacefully answering the nature's call, thought that the Death was waiting outside for him.

The Bride is going to be killed by Vivica Fox's daughter in the next Kill Bill .. Mark my words
From Jason *** s page: "Before production had even begun, I read a draft of Kill Bill. I thought it was cliched. Thin. Thought the dialogue was stilted. I knew that, for the first time, QT's rep as a filmmaker was going to take a ding. A few months later, I was standing face to face with Tarantino at SDCC. I desperately wanted him to sign my Japanese Pulp Fiction laserdisc, but I'd left it in my hotel room. We talked about weird movies for a bit (specifically Rock 'N Roll Nightmare), and he scribbled his name on a chirashi for Kill Bill. Sorta' bummed me out - I got to talk to one of my fave filmmakers - one who I had been championing since his debut - and the proof I had was that he signed a promotional item for what would eventually prove to be a sloppy, slight, self-indulgent mess. Sometimes I REALLY love being wrong. The Kill Bill films sang to me. I adored them. That chirashi's got scribbling all over it now: Michael Madsen...Michael Jai White...Vivica Fox...David Carradine…" I am so geeing tha ...
