A few years ago, Jane Fonda told veterans to “get over” her treasonous photos posing with enemy troops during the Vietnam War. But now she’s backing down.

I know from an individual at either from my boarding school in Massachusetts or from someone during my time at an elite private college in Ohio that the FBI had film of Jane Fonda having sex with someone during the Vietnam War era. I also know that publisher Bob Guccione was investigated by the FBI. One rumor that I can't substantiate is that of CIA involvement with Lady Di's death. From what was done to me in Massachusetts, from the drugs in my food that made me appear psychotic or the placing of devices inside my body at Massachusetts General Hospital, anything by government agencies and their allies is possible.
SHE'S NO HERO, BUT A TRAITOR !!! Barbara Walters on Jane Fonda:Jane Fonda was on 3 times this week talking about her new book. . . and how good she feels in her 70s. . . She still does not know what she did wrong. . .Her book just may not make the bestseller list if more people knew.Barbara Walters said: Thank you all. Many died in Vietnam for our freedoms. I did not like Jane Fonda then and I don't like her now. She can lead her present life the way she wants and perhaps SHE can forget the past, but we DO NOT have to stand by without comment and see her honored" as a "Woman of the Century."(I remember this well.)For those who served and/or died. . .NEVER FORGIVE A TRAITOR.SHE REALLY WAS A TRAITOR!!And now President Obama wants to honor her !In Memory of Lt. With today being POW/MIA day, I thought I'd touch on a couple things real quick. In April of 1865 a steamboat exploded on the Mississippi river. Over 1500 people were killed. The saddest part was, they were union soldiers returning home to their families after being Prisoners of war in the south! In May of 1975, the Mayaguez ship was captured by Cambodia. It was the last battle of the Vietnam War. Marines were sent from Okinawa to rescue the ship. The battle took place on a nearby island and even though the ship was rescued and victory was declared, several Marines were killed. Even worse, at least 3 Marines were left behind in the hasty evacuation! They were 2 Lance Corporals and a Private first class. They were presumed captured. Cambodian troops later said that they had been executed on a neighboring island and possibly buried there. No one really knows for sure, the fate of those 3 young jarheads. Lastly, Jane Fonda. 3 POWs were killed when she visited the Hanoi Hilton. They were beaten to ...

yesterday I watched the movie called under heavy fire. It's about Vietnam. I was waiting for Jane Fonda to show up on the screen. The liberals are still fighting the Vietnam War, even though America(our government politicians) deserted the South Vietnamese people and allowed millions to be killed. It showed poor veterans going back to Vietnam. Everyone in Vietnam was peaceloving people that only plot for love and showed us just fighting for hate. The United States Marine Corps was accused of brainwashing youths and making them murderers. The youths of any country are transformed by war. It showed the American Marines murdering innocent people in the poor enemy troops just helping their country. Jane Fonda and American traitor and her friends cheered old Chi Minh he was a great North Vietnamese leader that sent his troops out to stop South Vietnamese school buses take the children off and cut their fingers off, he sent them to villages brought all the villagers together castrated, the leader of the village ...

BRING BOWE HOME!!! There have been POW's in every war. Those who endured and survived being POW's in North Vietnam during the Vietnam War underwent terrible suffering outside of the critical eye of the press, outside of the realm of the wider world's awareness. Sometimes, even the press, which should have been giving us the truth, became tools of North Vietnamese propaganda. Remember Jane Fonda? This meant, as it always has to the torturers of the world, that they could get away with any level of inhumane treatment of their prisoners with impunity. We cannot even imagine how we could have survived the pains, the fears, the sense of abandonment, these men must have felt. Each day might bring further threats, or even the reality of pain and suffering to them. Almost all of them were held in solitary confinement for long periods of time, unable to communicate even with their fellow POWs. The feeling of isolation had to have been greater than anything we can imagine. It is one thing to be lonely, to be separa ...

JULY 1972 US actress Jane Fonda pleases some, but upsets many, when she goes to Vietnam to show her support for the anti-war in the country, she is photographed on an anti-aircraft tank. The picture taken in Hanoi, seemed to show support for the North Vietnamese, and in the years to come Jane regretted the picture. However, she did use the visit to attack the Vietnam War, she also insisted that American targets were civilians she also had the opportunity to American POWs, and despite stories at the time, the POWs were happy to see her, although she commented they were being brainwashed. After the India and Pakistani war from 1971, the two parties sign an agreement to settle disputes peacefully, this was called the Simla Agreement, and in India 24 people were killed by rogue Elephants attacking. Being a U.S. Army Sergeant Veteran I volunteered and proudly served our country during the Vietnam war from 1964 to1970. During this time Jane Fonda went to North Vietnam and hugged their comunist leader *** Chi Minn. This scene was broadcast world wide on t.v. Now with Edward Snowdon releasing top secrets from our N.S.A.,and his father stating on national t.v. that he is proud of what his son is doing. How much harm have these individuals actions caused our nation and the world, then, now, and for many years to come in prolonging these wars, leading to more of our brave men and women serving in war zones world wide to loose their lives. As my father would say, these individuals should be sentenced to life in prison at hard labor in Fort Levanworth, making little rocks out of the big ones. May God bless all our leaders to help make America great again. Denny Owens 1050 Mr. Joe White Ave.Unit-9 Myrtle Beach,S.C.29577 (843) 839-5293
MY TWO CENTS- Snowden will be remembered like Jane Fonda as traitors of the United States. Fonda was a shill for the North Vietnamese during the height of the Vietnam War. She used her Hollywood notoriety for propaganda against the U.S. while being filmed in North Vietnam wearing a North Vietnamese military uniform. Amongst her other shameless acts, she called American prisoners of war “liars” for saying they were being tortured. Ask Senior U.S. Senator John Mccain if prisoners of war were mistreated by their North Vietnamese counterpart. Fonda, a communist sympathizer will be remembered as Hanoi Jane. Snowden will be remembered as a spy, misguided Schmuck, and the pride and joy to his parents. Maybe he misunderstood when his parents said, make me proud? I laugh at these pseudo anarchists commenting how bad the U.S. is from the luxury of their homes, watching TV, surfing the internet, ordering pizza, driving a car, able to get out of bed and go outside anytime of the day and night, etc. Then after doi ...
NAVY Vietnam Veterans Outraged Over Navy Christening Of USS Jane Fonda By G-Had | June 23, 20121 29,050WASHINGTON, D.C. – Both the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars issued a joint statement today condemning the U.S. Navy over the launch of its newest warship, theUSS Jane Fonda.“Without getting into Jane Fonda’s activities during the Vietnam War, we feel that it is highly inappropriate to name a warship after an actress with no ties to the military,” said James Mitchell, a spokesman for both groups. The ship’s name, which had been kept under wraps until right before the launch, was revealed yesterday at a star-studded event presided over by Ms. Fonda.Ms. Fonda made a statement prior to the launch, saying, “I dedicate this ship to the brave men who fought and died in Vietnam, especially those in the 66th Viet Cong Regiment.”The actress is extremely unpopular among some military groups for her activities during the Vietnam War, such as posing for propaganda pictures with North Vie ...
Message to Jane Fonda: At the ripe young age of 75, you still know how to turn blokes heads nearly 50 years your junior. In my parents' younger years, you were the outspoken opponent of the Vietnam War. To Generation Y, you are the brand ambassador for L'Oreal Paris. From Hollywood to Hanoi to hand cream, you've seen many things in your three-quarters of a century. Throughout the tumult, you have constantly remained a symbol of grace, elegance and pure class. What a woman. L

This for my friend Jackie Bishop who did 3 tours. Can't say thanks enough. Bit of trivia that most people do not know. Had we not gone and fought in the Vietnam War the whole region would have been communist. Countries like Thailand, Phillipines, etc all have some sort of democracy. We took their eye off the ball and they had to concentrate on Vietnam because we were a worthy advisersary. In fact we had actually turned the tide at the end and had started to win when they took everyone out. You will not read this in any history book. I watched the movie the Hanoi Hilton and my hate for Jane Fonda reared its ugly head again. She should have been locked up for Treason.
Tom Hanton, USAF Vietnam POW was in solitaire with a speaker 20ft above his head broadcasting Jane Fonda while she was on enemy soil speaking against her Nation and encouraging the ENEMY. Now, my liberal loved ones, do NOT speak to me ever again about how great Hanoi Jane is and how she did nothing wrong - it is just another conservative conspiracy to malign her good reputation. And do NOT wonder any longer WHY the Vietnam era military can not forgive Jane Fonda. Young adults... this is our collective history that we should all hear from the horses mouth. Turn to C-Span 2 and let them tell you themselves while they can still give us a first hand knowledge of their experiences from the Vietnam War and their imprisonment by the Communist North Vietnamese.
Jane Fonda was always an outspoken opponent of the Vietnam War. In 1972, the Academy Award-winning actress and activist traveled to North Vietnam and was photographed laughing and clapping along with Vietnamese soldiers.
Were Jane Fonda and Ted Turner refused service in a restaurant run by a Vietnam War veteran?
As we all know, Jane Fonda committed treason during the Vietnam War. She aided and abetted the Viet Cong, laughed with them, and aimed their weapons in the direction of U.S. soldiers. She also attacked U.S. soldiers–many of whom died or lost limbs–on Viet Cong loudspeakers and radio. And she’s never...

Mr "Hanoi" Kerry sent 250 millions dollars to Egypt today. There is no sequestration and never was or we would not spend this much needed money on MUSLIMS who's sole purpose in life is to exterminate anyone not of their religion. He and "Hanoi" Jane would make a good couple. For you who don't know about Kerry, he was on the *** side during the Vietnam War, criticizing the USA and apologizing to the *** at every turn. As for Jane Fonda, she is absolutely a traitor from the Vietnam War, telling the *** about our prisoners passing her notes, among other treasonous adventures. What do you think happened to those prisoners after she left Vietnam. I'd venture to say they became MIA's.

Barbara Walter is in no position to judge anyone! Jane Fonda was a PEACE activist! There were many American stood against the ideology of the Vietnam War just as they stood against the Gulf War! I am appalled that Jane Fonda would be playing Nancy Reagan. I would think that Nancy would launch a protest. I invite anyone to show me documentation that Jane Fonda has ever apologized for her traitorous acts during the Vietnam War or denied the stories of her betrayal of the prisoners at the Hanoi Hilton.
Okay, I just saw the headline -- I didn't read it because I really don't like Jane Fonda at all, and I don't like to read anything about her. But, apparently she was criticizing the Oscars host, calling him inappropriate and distasteful. Well, frankly, I didn't care for him either, but Hanoi Jane has a lot of nerve saying anyone was "inappropriate and distasteful" after what she did during the Vietnam War... just saying...

Claim: Under current law, a drone strike on Jane Fonda would have been legal during the Vietnam War.
Just watched a 2-hour show on the Military History Channel hosted by Lee Ermey on the Vietnam War. Surprisingly, this patriot and marine never mentioned a communist name Jane Fonda! He did pay tribute to a former POW named John Mccain.
Ron Norris John Kerry was against the Vietnam War! GREAT! WONDERFUL! NOW he can bring ALL U.S. troops HOME from and CLOSE all 175 U.S. Military Bases around the world and Stop U.S. involvement in ALL Wars! I am SO excited! I hope he begins this WEEK! John Kerry U. S. I wonder if they will bring the TROOPS home this week? Support the TROOPS! Bring them HOME! Go John! Go Jane! Mr. O is going to be SHOCKED!

Gen. Patrick Brady, U.S. Army (ret.) Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady As the nation recognizes the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, two veterans of that war are front-runners for high office: John Kerry for secretary of state and Chuck Hagel for secretary of defense. Unfortunately, neither one possesses the exceptional qualities of the typical Vietnam Veteran. Both are willing pawns of a president who has no clue on foreign relations and is emasculating our military – our surest guarantor of peace and the one governmental institution that still works. Hagel, who once denounced the ambassadorial appointment of a homosexual and homosexual conduct in the military under “don’t ask don’t tell,” now supports a quad sexual (homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual and transgender) military. So I heard that because the internet says Jane Fonda was a traitor in the Vietnam War, it must be true. I am sure that the soon to be celebrity had many close ties with the North Vietnamese Communists and they solely answered to her. I love even more that they claim she admitted to it and apologizes, when she has a long, elaborate statement declaring how she cared for the soldiers and how there were being lied to about the reasons for the war. She had continuously denounced these acquisitions in memoirs and on national television, and the fact that people could believe something so outrageous makes me laugh. And then Obama wants to honor this amazing woman, how dare he, this is blasphemy. I also enjoy the comparisons of Obama to Hitler, I have heard we are beginning to exterminate people and single them out, although he won because of his care for minorities. Sounds a bit like the opposite to me. We should continue to believe that Mr. Rogers was a sniper with over 100 kills on his belt, Lady Gaga has a hu ...

Jihad Jane: An Unsavory Wartime Tradition Continues Jim Kouri, CPP During the Vietnam War, we had “Hanoi Jane” a/k/a Jane Fonda, an American actress who espoused Marxist ideology and actually provided enemy troops with a Hollywood-style photo-op. One of the most famous photographs of the Vietnam era is that of the Oscar-winning actress sitting atop a North Vietnam anti-aircraft gun while she adorned herself in a North Vietnam soldier’s helmet. About 25 years before Fonda’s arguably treasonous spectacle, a Japanese-American woman served the Imperial Army of Japan as its “voice of Japan” during World War II. While Tokyo Rose was a generic name given by the American military and its allies in the Pacific to English-speaking female broadcasters who bombarded the airwaves with Japanese propaganda, the best known was Iva Toguri D-Aguino, also an American citizen. Last but not least Happy Birthday to "THE GREATEST" Muhammad Ali who turns 71 today. Muhammad Ali was born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. on January 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. Muhammad Ali was the greatest boxer of his generation, and with the exception of Sugar Ray Robinson pound for pound the greatest fighter ever. In my opinion Muhammad Ali is the second greatest athlete of the 20th century right behind Babe Ruth. After winning a gold medal in the 1960 OLympics, Ali at the time was the youngest heavyweight champion at 22 when he knocked out Sonny Liston. ALi was stripped of his title for his refusal to enter the Vietnam War, and he along with Jane Fonda and John Lennon became the voice of the anti-war movement in the 1960's. Ali came back to reclaim his title back two more times. Muhammad Ali was the first of his kind, there will never ever be another athlete like Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali transcended his sport like no other athlete. Ali inspired and influenced many people from Whitney Houston to B ...

Hello America, January 07, 2013, Many of you may not have been old enough to remember the Vietnam War, but its as fresh in my mind as yesterday, let me just hit on the highlights, first off most of the young men fighting were drafted by Lyndon Johnson, just young kids 18 yearsold, and the black bags Coming Home were numberless, 100 on the tarmack at a time. and then there were the Hyppies, draft dodgers like Bill Clinton, actually Bill Clinton wasn't a bonefide Hyppie, because most of them were dead in the first three years, after the Hyppie Movement started from Acid and Heroin use. And then there was Hanoi Jane, oh yes the Communist regime had Jane Fonda, puting out propaganda, to our troops from Hanoi, actually the young kids were called grunts, many from lower to middle class, actually they was all mostly lower class Americans, now these grunts were drafted to fight in Nam all along the Miacon Delta, now there were a few select Upper Class kids mostly entered in as officer material, such is the case o ...

Letters America is self-destructing Wednesday, November 21, 2012 12:33 PM EST Many years ago, as a young man, I was puzzled as to how an American citizen, Jane Fonda, could be allowed to express her dissatisfaction with the Vietnam War by actually travelling to Vietnam and openly fraternizing with the Vietcong for propaganda purposes. Forget any loyalty to America. Forget any smidgen of respect for those that were dying daily. Her right to display her personal opinion, apparently, was all that was important. I believe that in any other country on this planet, she would have been branded a traitor and punished as any traitor during wartime. Instead, she was allowed to return and enjoy all the rights of American citizenship. I believe that, even back then, America was slipping away. Not long ago, in this town that I love, a local citizen who happened to be a preacher was fatally shot. It is my opinion that he was murdered while sitting in his car in broad daylight, in downtown Toccoa by a rogue law enforcem ...
It's been decades, but Jane Fonda still can't shake her "Hanoi Jane" image from the Vietnam War.
Frank Haught Having reached her mid-seventies, Oscar-winner Jane Fonda is now in that phase of her career where she's celebrated with all kinds of "achievement awards." Last night at the L.A. Press Club gala honoring her, Fonda's revealed that her biggest regret in life is no longer not "f***ing" mass-murderer Che Guevera, but that moment that defined her even more than her film career: when she was photographed sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun meant to shoot down American pilots during the Vietnam War. In a short speech, Fonda called out her friends in the audience -- Daniels, Sam Waterston, Melanie Griffith and Lily Tomlin -- and said, "I can't tell you how moved I am for this award." Then, in a "lightning round" Q&A with NBC 4 anchor Robert Kovacik, Fonda touched on a variety of topics: … -- On her greatest regret in life: "Sitting on that gun in North Vietnam. I'll go to my grave with that one." Well, give the actress credit. This is a step up from what we learned in Patricia Bosworth ...

Jane Fonda the Actress and ardent anti-Vietnam war protestor in North Vietnam
Political Statement. In the 1960's the crazies were all Democrats. Most ardent anti-Vietnam War protesters thought Jane Fonda and company were out of line, even though General Westmoreland screwed the country for 15 years. In 2012, the Right Wing of the Republican Party defines crazy. They hate themselves. They hate the government. They hate America, and blame everyone else on earth for their problems, except for the man in the mirror. Thank goodness Barack Hussein Obama will be re-elected by a landslide this November. This is the view from Boalsburg, PA, USA. Nestled in Happy Valley, one of the great places in this country.

Faith and Politics I’m going to skip Wednesday’s Chick fil-A Appreciation Day, not because I don’t appreciate it, but I have never gotten excited about economic boycotts or counter-protesting with my diet. I’m consistent that way—I ignored Martin Sheen when he stood outside my local grocery trying to stop me from buying grapes and, if I skipped a Jane Fonda movie, it wasn’t because she had gone to Hanoi during the Vietnam War. As college endowment managers learned, it’s pretty difficult to get all your principles and politics lined up with your investment portfolio, much less with your diet or entertainment. Still, Chick fil-A Appreciation Day is a useful moment to chew over more than just a chicken sandwich. On the surface it’s about company president Dan Cathy’s support for his understanding of Biblical marriage (one man and one woman for life) and attempts by supporters of *** marriage to boycott it or, in the case of certain politicians, even try to prevent its stores from locating i ...
This latest outcry raises a question as to whether there is, or ever can be, a statute of limitations on refighting the Vietnam War.
Bob's posting of this photo led to a spirited discussion about Jane Fonda and the Vietnam War. I find it incredible that we baby Boomers, now in our late 50s (yours truly) and 60s are STILL arguing about that *** war! It was truly the defining event of our generation, and I suppose that we'll still be discussing Nam in the recreation rooms of our nursing homes.
This needs to STOP!!! Jane Fonda is a traitor and she has absolutely NO business playing Nancy! Someone need to help stop this. Can anyone get the phone number or e-mail address of the moron responsible for this so we can contact them???!
Jane Fonda is filth I will not watch.
I lost many Friends in the Vietnam War, and I lost a Brother-in-law--Wayne Kohn their--so sad that they did what there Country asked and came home to be shamed and disrespected by the likes of Jane Fonda, a RPOS.
It seems that an article I posted, regarding Jane Fonda's actions during the Vietnam war were declared by Scopes to be untrue. I do not like passing falsehoods, and I apologize for posting that.
Can't believe Obama is wanting to honor Jane Fonda. She cause alot if pain and suffering even death for soldiers during Vietnam war. We should be outraged. Everyone has the right to disagree about war, but to cause harm to our soldiers.
Jane Fonda is a traitor. She betrayed our POWs during the Vietnam War. Look it up. Whether you like it or not please comment and say what you think. Most users will ...
Jane Fonda has said that she regrets the infamous photo taken during the Vietnam War of her posing with the enemy while appearing to shoot at American planes. She said that it has hit her hard and affected her ever since. Well, Hanoi Jane... the reason that it has hit you so hard is because you are in America and we don't look kindly on such things. For every moment that this has affected you, you can be sure that it was ten times worse for our troops who were fighting. And one more thing... regret isn't an apology you stupid heffer. You still suck!!
1972 Jane Fonda began a two week visit to Hanoi, where she denounced the Vietnam War in radio broadcasts, visited American POWs and was photographed sitting behind a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun, an image that sparked outrage in the U.S. (Years later, Fonda eexpressed regret for that particular episode.
Today in History- 1962- Starfish Prime took place. Nuclear warhead test 1776- Col. John Nixon gave the 1st public reading of the Declaration of Independence in Philly. He was then pounded by snowballs, such a Philly thing to do. 1889- the WSJ began printing 1972- Jane Fonda became "Hanoi Jane" by visiting the Viet Kong" during the Vietnam War
I have never been a silent person so--just received a forward re Jane Fonda potentially being honored by the Oresident as well as--OH WELL!! She was a TRAITOR--therefore still a traitor from her actions during the Vietnam War. The English Language is simple--what doesn't one understand--illegal, traitor--DA!!!
Don't forget when you see Jane Fonda doing so good that she was personally responsible for men being tortured and killed in the Vietnam War. Don't let that ever be forgotten--traitors are traitors.
I was watching TV this morning when Jane Fonda came on. For 40 years I haven't had anything nice to say about her because of the way she protested the Vietnam War. I would change the channel or look away whenever she appeared and would add my 2 cents worth about how I felt about her if possible. This morning she apologized for the event and said "it's the biggest regret of her life" which is the 'first time' I've listened to her talk about it publicly (she seemed sincere). I accept her apology. It's a big weight lifted of my shoulders doing so. Protest the War but Support our Troops!
Some of my fellow Vietnam Veterans have a very short memory bank. Jane Fonda wasn't the only protester of the war. There were violent protests across our nation to the Vietnam war. Other countries refused to send troops to help us because of our effort to "win at all costs". And what did we accomplish there? Did we save our country from future attacks? Were the Viet Cong a threat to American citizens? American Soldiers were spat upon and insulted upon returning home from the Vietnam War. We were called "baby killers" and "war mongers" along with murderers. Sadly it was the U.S. government that didn't want a black mark on the history books and many of the truths didn't come out for some years. This war had disgraced the U.S. Government and they didn't care about the many young men that gave up their lives for this war. U.S. 58,000 troops were killed ...the North Vietnamese army 1.1 million deaths... 1,170,000 people were injured. Don't even mention what agent orange did to our troops health as they aged.
Looking at headlines on yahoo, that is how I catch up on what is up. Jane Fonda 74 years old shows up others on red carpet at Canes Film Festival. It is amazing that the media does not remember what she did during the Vietnam War. Supported North Vietnam, *** I am only 43 and I remember what she did, did not see it live but I have seen the footage. Unbelievable! When my father returned from Vietnam he was spit upon by protesters. Spit upon! I can not begin to imagine what he had gone through in Vietnam only to come home to his country to be spit upon. God bless all Veterans, I couldn't do it.
I always wanted to meet Tom Hayden for his political views and because he had been with Jane Fonda. So when he was speaking near my home I went and chatted with him and I asked him a couple of questions on his views on today's activist movements. — at CSUF Arboretum Center for Oral and Public History.
Jane Fonda committed a great disservice to all the American Service Men and Women who served before, during and after the Vietnam War. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, when you pose with our enemies during a time of War, and allow yourself to be used for propaganda purposes, well that is a shame that will not wash off. She was young, misdirected and wrong! Maybe she would like to do a photo shoot or video with Al Quiada or the Talaban!
Long-secret records show politician, actress discussed peace efforts for the Vietnam War in 1970
Jane Fonda, whose outspoken criticism of the Vietnam War once earned the nickname “Hanoi Jane,” has been tapped to play Nancy Reagan, former first lady and wife to the late President Ronald Reagan, according to Variety magazine.
How's this for strange bedfellows? Jane Fonda, the sometimes Atlantan whom critics love to hate as Hanoi Jane for her Vietnam War era activism, will
Jane Fonda, A.K.A Hanoi Jane, she should have no room to talk. Frankly she should have been run out of town on a rail and never allowed to act again in the states, but the liberals in Hollywood are apparently very forgiving of their own. I personally will never go to another movie with her in it. I'm waiting for her time to come to answer for her discussing behavior during the Vietnam War period while our soldiers were dying every day over there doing what their country had asked of them and she was consoling the enemy. Please refer to the link below for her so-called proud accomplishments. :-\
