United States Military - First thoughts about

Dear Fellow Patriot, I'm not known as one to mince words. On FOX, CNN, Meet the Press, and every TV show I've ever been on, I've said what I meant and meant what I said. That's why my life of service is rooted in leading. It's why people like you respect me for saying what I think - candidly, hon¬estly, and succinctly. As a Member of Congress, I was only one vote out of 435. But I was one of a few who once wore the uniform of the United States Military and who understood how to wield and preserve American power. We love our great nation too much to sit back and take our loss in 2012 as the final verdict on America. That's why I intend to use the newfound freedom I've been given to take my efforts to defeat the Obama liberal progressive agenda to the next level. It!s amazing how much we don't know much of the situation. I love hearing confessions by our former politicians. I would like to quote fmr. My Daughters just finished their 2nd tour of duty.When they Joined the United States Military they where promised College Tuition..they just received notice that College tuitons are suspended.I see this as a way to keep enlistments down and weaken our MILITARY... wonder why this happened ? Before any one writes me off as an establishment hack. I ask you to consider something on this Rand Paul Filibuster that may have not been considered. Rand is suggesting that an Officer of the United States Military would execute an order to attack an American Citizen on American Soil with out proper warrant from a judge, or a threat assessment stating this person is an eminent threat to National Security, and cannot possibly be detained by US ground forces, or local authority. I have been doing more research. I have found that the Martin family today are descendants of Anthony Armistead, who is my 8th Great Grandfather. Anthony's brother John is an ancestor of the famous military Armistead family, that includes the famous Confederate Brigadier General Lewis Addison Armistead, his father Col. Walker Keith Armistead, Walker Keith's brother and Lewis' Uncle Let. Col. George Armistead of the famous war of 1812 battle of Fort McHenry. There are several other Armistead family members who served in the United States Military, or the Confederate military and who are also West Point Graduates. Anthony Armistead is an ancestor on the Martin side, through the Martin-Vogt-Pace side. If anyone wants any more information, please let me know.

The House and Senate finally did something worthy of praise, They confirmed Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense. As the first enlisted combat veteran to serve in the position he will be a strong voice for all women and men who wear the uniform of United States Military.

There are not many people in this world who I hold in high standards... but Chris Kyle was one of those people. Recently, Kyle was murdered. I will not say he was a righteous man, nor will I say he was evil. Chris Kyle was, to some, a hero, and to others, a murderer. Kyle was one of the most lethal men in the world, having been a Navy Seal with the most recorded and confirmed sniper kills in United States Military history... probably the deadliest sniper alive. That is not why I held him in high standards. I held- and will continue to hold, even in death- highly of this man because when he came back, he tried his best to help fellow soldiers- brothers, sisters, it mattered not- to get their lives back on track, to cope with the PTSD that soldiers are cursed with. I am not angry that he is dead, given the circumstances of his death... but even if they were different, how could I be? For a man who comes home from a war with 160 confirmed kills and no regrets is a man who lives by the sword... and those wh . ...

President Obama President Obama has proven himself as a great world leader with his considerate diplomatic skills and superb eloquence in public speaking. Holding the most powerful office in the world he has shown humbleness while also maintaing a tremendous reputation with unimpeachable integrity and honesty. Being Commander and Chief his courage to stand up to opposition for the ending of the Iraq war has shown him to keep promises made at the beginning of his administration. Directing the operation to hunt down and kill Osama Bin Ladin, gave closure to many of the families of victims during the tragedy that took place on 911, and has also proven him an unquestionable great leader of all branches of the United States Military. Having considerate diplomatic skills while meeting with other world leaders is a great quality he possesses. Regarding my earlier post on the weapons that were turned in in the most dangerous city in America, for cash. It was one of the largest turn-ins of weapons ever. I applaud the effort, and I encourage every city in America to join the effort to disarm those who don't need the weapons they own. If your city doesn't currently have a program to turn in weapons, please see that one gets started. One individual in each city can be the spark that get this done.
