New York -- Steve Kerr met with New York team president Phil Jackson over the weekend to discuss the Knicks' vacant head-coaching job. Kerr said he had dinner with Jackson on Friday for a few hours and also talked with him on Saturday. "We will keep talking," said Kerr, a TNT analyst who was in Brooklyn to work Game 4 of the playoff series between the Nets and Toronto Raptors. "There is a lot to cover on both sides. This was the first time we've talked about the job. It just opened up last week. We got a lot of things to discuss." Kerr would not divulge how he feels about the team's roster and what appeals to him about the possibility of coaching the Knicks, who fired Mike Woodson shortly after the season ended. But Kerr reiterated his interest in becoming a head coach and said that coaching the Knicks and working for Jackson, his coach while playing for the Chicago Bulls, intrigues him. "Oh yeah, how could it not?" he said. "It's the Knicks and Phil Jackson, my coach. I would be crazy not to look into it ...

Blogs: The Chicago Bulls are now on The Top 3 Seed on The Eastern Conference, are They Better without Rose? are They Ready again for a Championship? After what seemed like an interminable, months long chase, the Chicago Bulls have finally caught up with the Toronto Raptors as the torturous 82-game regular season nearly comes to an end. A Bulls win over the sloppy Detroit Pistons on Friday night coupled with a Raptors' 108-100 loss to the New York Knicks in Toronto rearranged the overall standings in the Eastern Conference. At 47-32, the Bulls are now nestled in third place, dislodging the 46-33 Raptors, who staggered down to fourth. The upgrade is a mighty huge deal for the Bulls because a 3 seed puts them in a position to play either the Washington Wizards or the Charlotte Bobcats in opening round while a 4 seed means a date with the dangerous Brooklyn Nets, a team laden with veterans, on a tear and primed for a deep postseason run. The Bulls and Raptors each have 3 games left to play and they can easily ...

Report: Bulls likely to sign D.J. Augustin once he clears waivers How much do the Chicago Bulls miss Derrick Rose at the point? It looks like they are going to pick up D.J. Augustin, who was waived Monday by the Toronto Raptors. So reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. The Bulls lost superstar point guard Derrick Rose for the season, and have been searching for further depth at the position with backup guard Mike James working his way back from a sprained knee. Shooting guard Jimmy Butler has been recovering from a foot injury and could return in the near future. Augistin was part of the Pacers rotation last season but they let him go to upgrade the position (C.J. Watson has been a big upgrade, too). Augustin signed as a free agent with the Raptors but was used sparingly (he’s only gotten in 10 games this season). Then as part of the Rudy *** trade the Raptors landed Greivis Vasquez and Augustin was no longer needed. So he was waived.

Derrick Rose und seine Verletzung: Derrick Rose injured his right hamstring late in the Chicago Bulls' win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night. Rose believes the injury is a minor strain and will be re-evaluated on Tuesday. "It's just a minor strain, nothing serious," Rose said. "It's nothing big at all. I should be ready (Friday). I'm still able to walk around, move around the way I want to. It's just a little sore." The Bulls face the Toronto Raptors on Friday.

Unverified Rumor: Toronto Raptors are strongly reconsidering the Chicago Bulls offer involving an Andrea Bargnani/John Lucas III for Carlos Boozer/Nate Robinson exchange trade. Toronto Raptors strongly believe they have a legitimate chance at getting Seed and want to make a push which is why they are re-considering the Carlos Boozer offer.
With the February 21st NBA trade deadline fast approaching, the Toronto Raptors still find themselves in possession of their former number one overall pick in 2006, Andrea Bargnani. Over the past several weeks, Bargnani has been linked to trades with the Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers and Charlot...
Would the Toronto Raptors benefit from the reported Carlos Boozer trade??? The latest rumor has Andres Bargnani and John Lucas III being traded to the Chicago Bulls for Carlos Boozer and Nate Robinson!- MLD85
Apparently the Chicago Bulls have informed the Raptors that a Carlos Boozer and Nate Robinson for Andrei Bargnani and John Lucas deal can be accepted by the Raptors at ANYTIME. As a Bulls fan, I'm not sure I like this.. -JD
Chicago Bulls would be the ones willing to do the Toronto Raptors Andrea Bargnani Trade in order to get under the Luxury Tax. Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors have reportedly discussed a Carlos Boozer and Andrea Bargnani swap. We’re just reporting on a rumor, nothing is substantial or set in stone or likely to happen. When you hear word of the Chicago Bulls initiating trade talks to acquire Andrea Bargnani in exchange for Carlos Boozer, though, the deal makes sense. Not on any sensible level that would involve basketball reasons, but mainly because Chicago’s front office has a knack for saving its owner from paying the Luxury Tax while utilizing their typically expert grasp of timing and context and sway over the team’s fan base. In this case, as the team continues to hit new lows offensively, the Bulls would be trading a much-maligned screamer in Boozer for a player that ostensibly could stretch the floor and help the team’s mediocre three-point shooting. That’s what would be explained to the ...

He put up a double-double in all four contests, including 19 points and 20 rebounds during a 100-99 win over the Boston Celtics. Chicago Bulls: My Comments to Doug Thonus Recent Sunday Bulls Beat: Doug Thonus had a Bulls Beat on December 30 where he discussed the Bulls spending and their future. Doug: He mentioned that Miami Heat are going to be next to impossible to stop for the next couple seasons until Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh start to decline. My Response: They will be difficult to beat and I'm predicting they win at least 1 or more titles. In the end, it comes down to the Top guys and unless Lebron and at least one of Bosh and Wade are playing well, the Heat aren't going to win a Championship. Anything can happen, and had Rose/Noah not gotten hurt last season, the Bulls could have gone to the Finals. Doug: He later discussed that the Bulls chances to rebuild with younger guys should have been done this offseason when Rose was hurt. They could have traded Deng to the Toronto Raptors this summer for Calderon and the (rumor) and then traded the Bulls Expirings for Ben Gordon + Pistons Pick. My Response: The Bulls were looking f ...

Rocked two games of 2K. Beat the Toronto Raptors with the Denver Nuggets. Danillo Gallinari player of the Game. Then lost to the Chicago Bulls when I was the Washington Wizards. Derek Rose Player of the Game. I like it so far so good. Time to play Texans vs Jets in Madden real quick though.
I feel one's snapback collection is not complete without owning a Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies and Chicago Bulls snapback.
The Toronto Raptors or as I call them "The Craptors" are a waste of a franchise. I mean the highlight of their entire eighteen year history is defeating the Chicago Bulls in 1996 in a regular season game by one point. Their ownership and management never does a thing to improve the franchise. The only reason they had players like Stoudamire, Carter, and Bosh, was because they just happened to come up through the franchises' system and what happened to all of them? They all left a sinking boat where the captain and his mates had already jumped ship.
