Tony Blair & Saddam Hussein

Anthony Charles Lynton Blair (born 6 May 1953) is a British Labour Party politician who served as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 2 May 1997 to 27 June 2007. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sedgefield from 1983 to 2007 and Leader of the Labour Party from 1994 to 2007. He resigned from all of these positions in June 2007. Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti (Arabic: '; 28 April 1937 – 30 December 2006) was the fifth President of Iraq, serving in this capacity from 16 July 1979 until 9 April 2003. A leading member of the revolutionary Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, and later, the Baghdad-based Ba'ath Party and its regional organisation Ba'ath Party – Iraq Region, which espoused ba'athism, a mix of Arab nationalism and Arab socialism, Saddam played a key role in the 1968 coup, later referred to as the 17 July Revolution, that brought the party to long-term power of Iraq. 5.0/5

Watching Theresa May's terrorist fears is exactly like watching Tony Blair's fear of Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. Excrement
America's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a profile of potential terrorists. 2 of the characteristics they say that qualify a person as a potential terrorist are a belief in a New World Order conspiracy and religious views concerning the book of Revelation (apocalypse, anti-Christ). The New World Order is on the one dollar bill underneath the all seeing eye of Lucifer. President Bush Senior said there WILL be a New World Order. President Bush Junior and Tony Blair lied to get our troops into Iraq post 9/11. The same 9/11 that President Bush Junior referred to the first plane's pilot crashing when he saw it. There is no footage of the first plane crashing! The same war in Iraq that led to Saddam Hussein's fall, the 'Arab Spring' and now the Islamic State. Tony Blair was appointed the UN Middle East Peace Envoy after his time as British Prime Minister. Didn't he do well? These people are not the terrorists though, nor are the Islamic extremists, but every bible believing Christian! The book of Rev ...
Former Prime Minister Tony Blair says the decision to go to war in Iraq "will remain very difficult and very controversial" but believes it was right to remove Saddam Hussein.
I want some one to advice me.am I qualified to file a case against forma President of the United States (George Bush) for the war in Iraq? This man accused the late Saddam Hussein of developing weapons of mass destruction which turns out to be false, then he brought the idea of toppling his government because he was a dictator, when in actual fact his (George Bush) neighbour (Castro of Cuba) was not democratically elected. And also file another against the former leader of United Kingdom(Tony Blair) for aiding and abetting.
All the self-righteous huffing and puffing in Washington over Ukraine jars on European and especially Russian ears after the multiple U.S.-led invasions and interventions in other people's countries of recent years. It's difficult to say what is more astonishing: the double standards exhibited by the White House, or the apparent total lack of self-awareness of U.S. officials.Secretary of State John Kerry risked utter ridicule when he declared it unacceptable to invade another country on a "completely trumped-up pretext," or just because you don't like its current leadership. Iraq in 2003 springs instantly to mind. This is exactly what George W. Bush and Tony Blair did when they "trumped up" the supposed threat posed by the hated Saddam Hussein's fabled weapons of mass destruction.Simon TisdallLike Saddam, the Taliban leadership in place in Afghanistan in 2001 was deeply objectionable. But instead of just going after Osama Bin Laden and his al Qaeda training camps after the 9/11 attacks, Bush (again abette ...

¤MGN-AFRICA» pin:263789F4 » Extremist religion is at root of 21st-century wars, says Tony Blair: Former Prime Minister will reignite debate on Iraq as he calls on governments to switch tactics Tony Blair has reignited debate about the west's response to terrorism with a call on governments to recognise that religious extremism has become the biggest source of conflict around the world. Referring to wars and violent confrontations from Syria to Nigeria and the Philippines, Blair, writing in the Observer, argues that "there is one thing self-evidently in common: the acts of terrorism are perpetrated by people motivated by an abuse of religion. It is a perversion of faith." Identifying religious extremism as an ever more dangerous phenomenon, the spread of which is easier in an online age, he says: "The battles of this century are less likely to be the product of extreme political ideology, like those of the 20th century – but they could easily be fought around the questions of cultural or religious dif ...
tried (and failed) to make citizen's arrest on Tony Blair as the former PM dined in London restaurant across from our office last Friday! Mr Tiiggy Garcia, a barman at 'The Tramshed' in attempted the citizen's arrest on Mr Blair on Friday 19th January. He described how he tried to carry out a citizen’s arrest on Tony Blair for ‘crimes against peace’ while the former Prime Minister was out having dinner. He approached Mr Blair and attempted to apprehend him in front of his family. The part-time music producer claimed he put his hand on Blair’s shoulder and told him: ‘Mr Blair, this is a citizen's arrest for a crime against peace, namely your decision to launch an unprovoked war against Iraq. I am inviting you to accompany me to a police station to answer the charge.’ Mr Garcia made the bold move due to a site which offers a £2,150 bounty for anyone who ‘arrests’ Mr Blair for crimes against peace. He said Mr Blair responded by engaging him in a debate about Syria and Saddam Hussein, before ...
AN OPEN LETTER TO JEAN CHRETIEN Dear Mr. Chretien: Shame on you. You are an embarrassment to our great country and will go down in history as a spineless “leader”. Have you already forgotten the images of thousands of Kurds (many of them innocent children), lying dead in the streets, having died from Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction? Saddam Hussein will never comprehend the laws of morality and it is clear that you will never comprehend (or represent) the views of the majority of Canadians. The plain truth is that you do not hold a candle to George Bush or Tony Blair. They are both extraordinary Leaders. President Bush has assembled a Cabinet of unprecedented skill and integrity and America has shown that it is willing to rid the world of a cruel and homicidal dictator. Prime Minister Blair has taken the moral high road and clearly demonstrated Great Britain’s unwavering loyalty to its ally, the United States. Sadly, America has the impression that Canada does not support its ac ...
Iraqis call for inquiry into Blair and Korean tycoon: Oil Minister is being probed over corruption claims By BARBARA JONES and PETER SIMPSON UPDATED: 08:27, 28 March 2010 9 View comments Flamboyant: Ashti Hawrami 'has made £13million from oil share sales' Politicians controlling one of the world's richest oilfields face questions over Tony Blair's involvement with a South Korean energy company. Mr Blair was secretly hired as an adviser by UI Energy Corporation, which has invested millions of pounds in the search for oil in Kurdish- controlled Northern Iraq. Mr Blair's involvement has sparked fury in the area, with one newspaper headline declaring: 'The corruption of Tony Blair is revealed in Kurdistan.' Now, a top opposition politician wants a full debate on Mr Blair's role. Mohamad Tofiq Rahim, deputy leader of the Movement for Change in Kurdistan, said: 'Here is a South Korean corporation desperate for concessions in our oilfields and there is Tony Blair, very well-placed to make a personal call to Jal ...

Tony Blair lies again! On Sunday June 2, 2013 Tony Blair wrote in the Daily Mail Newspaper that the hate narrative spewed by a small band of extremist is actually rooted in Islam and at the same time he declared that there was absolutely nothing wrong with Islam as a religion, he had actually studied it. He wrote, “but there is a problem within Islam – from the adherents of an ideology that is a strain within Islam. And we have to put it on the table and be honest about it.” I do not believe Tony Blair has studied Islam and I do not believe he is being honest about the root causes of extremism and terrorism either. Mr. Blair should know that lying is not a sign of honesty and he has lied about a lot of things including the biggest lie of our time – Saddam’s WMD. Here is a list of lies on Iraq alone that Mehdi Hassan compiled in a piece he wrote for the Guardian newspaper: Lie 1. "Stockpiles" We know that he [Saddam Hussein] has stockpiles of major amounts of chemical and biological weapons… ...

Something about Muslims... (Uh oh) Let's be clear about something. These so-called Islamic Fundamentalist Extremists (they need a moniker!) are as Muslim as the Ku Klux Klan are Christian. Just because someone labels themselves a Muslim or a Christian does not mean that they are a Muslim or a Christian. You can call yourself a brain surgeon if you want, put on the white overalls, hang around in hospitals, read an *** guide to brain surgery or whatever, but you won't be a brain surgeon unless you meet the criteria for being a brain surgeon. End of! If we want to be a Christian or a Muslim or a Buddhist then it is not enough to say 'oh i'm a Buddhist', we must adhere to the characteristics of our stated religion. Otherwise, what is the point? What would anything mean? In fact, i'll tell you what it means, it means we have a confused and ignorant society that believes that the people who chopped off that soldiers head were Muslims and that the war criminals George Bush and Tony Blair were Christian ...
Exclusive: Chilcot Inquiry to challenge official line on Iraq 'Authoritative' report will draw on unprecedented access to Blair-Bush emails James Cusick Wednesday, 6 March 2013 The inquiry into how Tony Blair committed Britain to war in Iraq is set to challenge the official version of events when it reports later this year, The Independent understands. The team led by Sir John Chilcot, which is examining Britain's part in the US-led invasion, will "challenge previous accounts of what happened", according to senior sources in the inquiry. The prospect of a report which authoritatively confronts the established narrative from 2002 and 2003 – when Mr Blair sent 45,000 British troops into Iraq to overthrow Saddam Hussein – will unnerve many senior figures in Whitehall, and others who no longer operate at the heart of government. By this May, the inquiry team expects to begin contacting those individuals who will be directly criticised in the Iraq report, to give them the chance to reply. A decade after Br ...

I may find Saddam Hussein's regime abhorrent, but the survival of it is in his hands. ~Tony Blair
SADDAM AND AL-QAEDA.In his new book, Ron Suskind writes that the White House once ordered the CIA to forge a letter showing a link between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda:
Listening to the Tony Blair speech in which he said that Saddam Hussein could have used weapons against the Iraqi Shias within 45 minutes.
" Charisma is addictive: Leaders capable of charming their followers become addicted to their love. After the initial honeymoon effect is over, they continue to crave high approval ratings, which distracts them from their actual goals. Followers, on the other hand, become addicted to the leader's charisma, reinforcing displays of populism and perceiving unpopular decisions as deal-breakers. The result is a reciprocal dependence that encourages both parts to distort reality in order to prolong their "high." Typically, charismatic leaders will remain deluded even after their followers have woken up. Tony Blair will forever think that the invasion of Iraq was a moral triumph, and Saddam Hussein (who relied on charisma for years) was absolutely convinced that he had served his country with dignity and integrity. But ask most people in Britain or Iraq what they think, and you will hear a very different story."
It seems as if the world has become a stage or a theatre for a full-scale deception and manipulation of the human race. More so, in matters that concern the welfare of humanity and its governance. Take for example, the American ideological stand on democracy. They claim that they are the champions of democracy and human rights. And yet, they have inflicted such terror and destruction on humanity that has no precedent in the entire history of human civilisation. From dropping atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima to the brutality of the lethal use of power in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, they have earned the unmatched distinction of “angels of death”. General Powell openly lied about Saddam Hussein’s “weapons of mass destruction” in front of the United Nations General Assembly and got away with it. Instead, Iraq, one of the oldest human civilisations, has been turned into ruins and Saddam Hussein was hanged. Tony Blair doctored the evidence to go to war against Iraq, yet he is the “free worl ...
"On what grounds do we decide that Robert Mugabe should go to the International Criminal Court, Tony Blair should join the international speakers' circuit, Bin Laden should be assassinated, but Iraq should be invaded, not because it possesses weapons of mass destruction, as Mr Bush's chief supporter, Mr Blair, confessed last week, but in order to get rid of Saddam Hussein?" - Desmond Tutu said(allegedly).
Somehow in the moral calculations of the Iraq war’s opponents, the offence always lands in the Western column of the ledger. Iraq’s sufferings have nothing to do with the Ba’athist crime syndicate, whose sadism provided the occasion for war in the first place. The chief moral failure of the anti-war movement is its evident belief that whatever the crimes of al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein and the Taliban, the crimes of Tony Blair are worse and the only ones worth mentioning. This kind of accounting can never yield an honest and credible summation of the Iraq war’s legitimacy, moral rightness and legacy.
I have not been shopping today, or to the hairdresser nor did I have my nails done. ...but I had a thought Desmond Tutu has his moments, and this was one of them. I cannot think at this time what brought him, motivated him to object to Tony Blair's company on stage of that Leadership Conference. Iraq had a leader which the people of Iraq could not fight, or did not want to fight off in certain areas. Saddam Hussein killed of opponents by multiples of hundred thousands. The first world and the USA have in the 21 century an obligation to judge and prevent rouge mass killers. This has nothing to do with form of government and opposing ideas. Killing, mass killing is out in any form of idea. Call it a world constitution. Tony Blair sided with George Bush and other leaders to rid the world of this Hitler type creature. He should be graciously complimented for his valour.
So he is unwilling to pass judgement on Saddam Hussein but happy to assert that Tony Blair lied without an ...

Lyndon LaRouche and LaRouche PAC warned in early August, that Obama would take the opportunity of Congress leaving for summer vacation, to move toward launching an illegal war against Syria. You thought that was "over the top." Now Obama is doing exactly what LaRouche warned, defying the Joint Chiefs of Staff in their opposition to a war in defense of al-Qaeda in Syria, and ignoring Congress's Constitutional responsibility to decide on the waging of war. On Aug. 20, Obama made his first direct threat of military invasion of Syria, taking a page from the script Tony Blair wrote for the war against Saddam Hussein. You remember the false claims of Saddam's threat of biological and chemical weapons? Now we have the same coming from Obama on Syria. He is planning to go around Congress, and the United Nations. Russia and China, who were meeting at a Security conference in Moscow Aug. 21, responded immediately. They issued a statement reiterating their criteria for all foreign policy steps "strictly observing th ...
