Anthony Charles Lynton Blair (born 6 May 1953) is a British Labour Party politician who served as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 2 May 1997 to 27 June 2007. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sedgefield from 1983 to 2007 and Leader of the Labour Party from 1994 to 2007. He resigned from all of these positions in June 2007. Kenneth Robert Ken Livingstone (born 17 June 1945) is a British Labour Party politician who has twice held the leading political role in London local government, firstly as the Leader of the Greater London Council from 1981 until the Council was abolished in 1986, and secondly as the first elected Mayor of London from the creation of the office in 2000 until 2008. He also served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Brent East from 1987 to 2001. He is standing as the Labour Party candidate in the 2012 London mayoral election./5
