When recording Bane's voice for Batman, Christopher Nolan stuck that mic in Tom Hardy's mouth. No chill.

FilmJuana Today we are introducing The Dark Knight IMDB Rating: 9/10 The Dark Knight Rises is a 2012 British-American epic superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan and the story with David S. Goyer. Featuring the DC Comics character Batman, the film is the final installment in Nolan's Batman film trilogy, and it is the sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). Christian Bale reprises the lead role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, with a returning cast of his allies: Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as James Gordon, and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. The film introduces Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway), a sly, morally ambiguous cat burglar, and Bane (Tom Hardy), a mercenary bent on destroying Gotham City. Drawn back into action by new threats facing the city, an older Bruce Wayne is forced to come out of retirement and become Batman once again. Christopher Nolan was initially hesitant about returning to the series for a second ...
Christopher Nolan, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy, Hans Zimmer, and the best movie endings... ARRRGH!!!
The European Premiere of the epic film "The Dark Knight Rises" by Christopher Nolan in London, Leicester Square with the cast Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard.
The Dark Knight Rises (2012) Cast: Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt Director: Christopher Nolan Synopsis: Christian Bale stars as both the classic caped crusader and his billionaire alter-ego, Bruce Wayne. In this third installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman films, Bruce Wayne no longer feels that the City of Gotham needs a hero and goes on a secluded hiatus. However, when a new villain, Bane (Tom Hardy), threatens Gotham City, Wayne dons his cape and mask once more. Review: Christopher Nolan brings yet another adrenaline-filled, comic-inspired movie to the Big Screen. We see all sorts of familiar faces this time around, but the audience is introduced to a few new characters as well. When crisis threatens Gotham City, Bruce Wayne jumps back into the Batmobile to fight crime. Batman is joined on his quest by an eager orphaned cop (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a seductive cat burglar (Anne Hathaway), and a violent masked villain (Tom Hardy). This film served as great entert ...

The Dark Knight Rises: written by Christopher Nolan, Jonathan Nolan, and David S. Goyer; directed by Christopher Nolan; starring Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Tom Hardy (Bane), Michael Caine (Alfred), Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon), Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle/The Cat), Marion Cotillard (Miranda), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (John Blake), and Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox) (2012): I enjoyed seeing this again, this time on the small screen, but unlike The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises doesn't become more understandable on TV. And by 'understandable,' I mean, 'What the *** was Nolan thinking with the godawful sound-mixing on this movie? Either Christopher Nolan is deaf or the sound mixing on The Dark Knight Rises was designed for some ideal, 100-channel speaker system that most homes and theatres don't have or Christopher Nolan was trying to make the action-movie equivalent of Robert Altman's McCabe and Mrs. Miller, with its purposefully muffled dialogue. Whatever. Add in the periodically incomprehe ...
5) look, it's more from Christopher Nolan... not to mention Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, or Michael Cain.
Christopher Nolan is a great man. Only a genius would put Joseph Gordon-levitt, Leo Dicaprio, Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy in the same film.
I love Christopher Nolan's use of Tom Hardy & JGL
Tom Hardy as Bane, Heath Ledger as The Joker, Marion Cotillard as Talia, Liam Neeson as Ra's Al Ghul... Christopher Nolan, you genius.
Dark Knight Rises TRIVIA: Christopher Nolan originally envisioned Bane as a little Indian boy. Two weeks before shooting, he changed his mind and cast Tom Hardy. Thank you Aziz Ansari for this fun fact.
How didn't "The Dark Knight Rises" get any nominations for anything? No Christian Bale,Tom Hardy,Anne Hathaway or the ingenious Christopher Nolan get a nod for anything.Stupid Oscars!!
Watching Inception bc Christopher Nolan is a film genius. & he likes using the same people aka Tom Hardy, .
Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow, Liam Neeson as Ra’s Al Ghul, Heath Ledger as the Joker, Tom Hardy as Bane. Christopher Nolan sure can pick em.
AMAZING FILM The Dark Knight Rises (2012) d. Christopher Nolan, 164 minutes Film Plot Summary The bleak and despairing story commenced eight years after the end of the previous film, with self-tortured Batman wounded with a limp and portrayed as a recluse-fugitive for the previous three years. The deceptions from the previous film remained - that "white knight" Gotham City DA Harvey Dent was a crime-fighting hero (inspiring the tough-on-crime Dent Act), although he was really a mad and psychotic vigilante named Two-Face, and that Batman was not a hero but a fugitive thug. New characters included idealistic and earnest Gotham City police officer John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Wayne Enterprises board member and love-interest Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard), and Batman's mysterious adversaries: feisty, amoral and slinky high-society con-artist Selina Kyle - Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and evil muzzle-mask-faced terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy). Batman's old allies continue to be loyal butler and father figure Alfr ...
Ok fun fact: Christopher Nolan overuses actors. This man directed (in my opinion) the four greatest films of all time. The Dark Knight Trilogy and inception. If you look at the cast for inception you will see a bunch of twice used(overused) actors. Tom Hardy played bane but is also Eames and Joseph Gordon-Levvitt doubled as both Arthur in inception and Officer Blake. Marion Cotilliard was Miranda in TDKR but also Mal in Inception and Ken Watanabe was the fake Ra's-Al-Ghul in Batman Begins at the same time as playing Saito from Inception. Don't let your head explode yet because Christopher Nolan used Michael Caine to play Miles. Michael Caine is not miles HE IS ALFRED! Thank you for reading if you did. Bless your face. If you sneezed during this post Bless You ( property of Tobuscus).
The question of life is why British people are a thousand times more talented at eveything than Americans, I mean Christopher Nolan, Tom Hardy, The Beatles, Coldplay, Henry Cavill, Christian Bale, Andy Murray, and Harry Potter.
I'm serious !!! Any movie under the direction of Christopher Nolan, and starring Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Marion, Anne
Hey what's that movie directed by Christopher Nolan and has Joeseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine and Marion Cotillard in it? Right after watching Dark Knight Rises for the 7 millionth time Kari made me watch inception(I've owned it for a couple years but never watched it). Christopher Nolan is the man... I just think it's funny that the casts were so similar. Btw, I give Inception an A+.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy and Marion Cotillard were all in Inception and The Dark Night Rises, Christopher Nolan must love them.
Inception is directed by Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Trilogy, Memento) and the film stars Leonardo Dicaprio (Titanic, Shutter Island), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (50/50, 500 Days of Summer), Ellen Page (Juno), Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose, The Dark Knight Rises), Ken Watanabe (Batman Begins, Letters from Iwo Jima), Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises, Warrior), Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins, Red Eye), Tom Berenger (The Big Chill) and Michael Caine (The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Cider House Rules). The film follows Dom Cobb, a person who extracts information from his clients' minds while their dreaming. Then, Dom is called in by an energy company to perform Inception, which is planting an idea in someone's mind without them knowing it and them waking up and thinking it was their idea. Inception is a fantastic movie! It's brilliant, complex, dense, original, intriguing and mind-blowing. I had to see it 5 times in order to understand the whole dream concept, but it's less complex than algebra. The plo ...
So it turns out that Tom Hardy is the bad guy in Star Trek Nemesis with a very similar backstory to Dark Knight Rises. Turns out Christopher Nolan's not so original as everyone thought.
As usual I have not seen every movie from 2012 that I would like to, but I've seen a good amount. I wanted to put out my list before the Oscar nominees were annunced. So here we go. 1. The Master PTA killed it once again. Phillip Seymore-Hoffman and Joaquin Pheonix acted tremendously. There is nothing bad to say about this film. 2. Moonrise Kingdom Wes Anderson's films are allways in my top 10 lists, this is one of his finest. Although not my favorite film from the Anderson crew it was amazing enough to get number 2. 3. The Dark Knight Rises I have a place in my heart for Batman, Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale and Hans Zimmer. They did not let me down, Batman "Died" without dying, yup ... that's awesome. Tom Hardy and JGL are both in multiple top movies for this year for me. Although there was some cheezy dialog, it's a comic book movie, so I'm cool with it. 4. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey WOW! Everything I wanted it to be. Richard Armitage is playing Thorin like a champ! Peter Jac ...
Eight years on, a new terrorist leader, Bane, overwhelms Gotham's finest, and the Dark Knight resurfaces to protect a city that has branded him an enemy. Director: Christopher Nolan Writers: Jonathan Nolan (screenplay), Christopher Nolan (screenplay), and 3 more credits » Stars: Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway
"The Dark Knight" Trilogy Christopher Nolan gave us the best "Batman" films. With the help of his "Batman" fanatic younger brother Jonathan Nolan, and with the help of screenwriter David S. Goyer these films were written to give us a darker more serious tone. We see our hero begin, fall, and rise. With such power house performances from Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, the late Heath Ledger, Tom Hardy, Liam Neeson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Morgan Freeman these films are great to watch over and over. Tim Burton almost completed a "Batman" trilogy but left before the third one was made. Joel Schumacher almost completed a trilogy but due to "Batman and Robin" being a box office bomb the third one was scrapped. As Nolan said "The only way to me that made sense was in a more realistic tone, and taking on the idea of symbolism. The take on the idea that [Bruce Wayne] would see himself as a symbol who would motivate the good of Gotham to actually start working on their own, so he would be a catalyst ...
Tom Hardy has revealed that shooting Mad Max: Fury Road was an unforgettable experience. The Dark Knight Rises star plays Max Rockatansky in George Miller's upcoming fourth instalment of the series, which also stars Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult. "It was an amazing experience. It's a big, live-action, fully articulated stunts piece, which picks up where we left off with the Mel Gibson Mad Max and takes it to the next level," he said at the English National Ballet's Christmas performance of The Nutcracker. Tom, who appeared as Batman's arch-nemesis Bane in Christopher Nolan's third Batman film this year, also confirmed that he is set to play Al Capone in a film called Cicero by Harry Potter filmmaker David Yates. "Yes that is true, but it's a question of when. And who with, and how that works. But that is in the works," he continued. "It's just a question of what comes first, who writes what and who's directing." He also joked about his plans for 2013 - with a mountain climb on the list. "I intend to ...
The reason for Christopher Nolan's use of Bane as the main villain in "Rises" likely stems from his increased use of IMAX technology. Due to the loud noises these cameras make when recording, it requires IMAX shots to need ADR later on, basically the actors dubbing their own lines to match their lips. In the case of Bane and Tom Hardy, it's easier to do when no one can see your mouth anyway. ...and now I'm thinking about how much time Christian Bale was at a recording booth carefully matching his lines IN his Batman voice
The main theme of The Dark Knight Rises directed by Christopher Nolan. Soundtrack composed by Hans Zimmer. Christian Bale stars as The Batman, Anne Hathaway as Catwoman/Selina Kyle and Tom Hardy stars as Bane, Batman's nemesis. Watch in 1080p HD for
You know him as the villainous Bane in this summer's blockbuster film, The Dark Knight Rises, the final installment in Christopher Nolan's acclaimed Dark Knight Trilogy, but before actor Tom Hardy donned the Bane mask, he played the bad guy in 2002's Star Trek: Nemesis. In Star Trek: Nemesis, Hardy ...
So after an in-depth discussion/debate which for some reason went on for an hour, Andy and I have decided who we reckon should be the director and actors in the new Star Wars movies (yes, we are that sad)... Director options: a) Joss Whedon b) Christopher Nolan c) JJ Abrams Han Solo: a) Tom Hardy b) Chris Hemsworth c) Ryan Gosling Princes Leia: a) Maggie Gyllenhaal b) Emily Blunt c) Claire Danes and finally Luke Skywalker: a) James Mcavoy b) Ryan Kwanten c) Rupert Friend Any opinions?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie - Christopher Nolan to direct, Christian Bale as Leonardo, Tom Hardy as Donatello, Leonardo Dicaprio as Raphael, Joseph Gordon Levitt as Michaelangelo. I demand this gets made!!!
"It doesn't matter in the end if you believed in God or not; what matters is what you DID WITH your life and what you DID TO the souls you came across in your life." - THIS is my own formulated quote WAY before The Dark Knight Rises even began shooting. "It doesn't matter who we are; what matters is our plan." - THIS is Christopher Nolan's own formulated quote FOR the film The Dark Knight Rises, voiced by Tom Hardy as Bane. It's the SAME point, in a way.. AND the same sentence framing.. Nolan.. how did you... when did you.. how could this.. i don't even.. Hey. Wat R U doin. Hey. Stahp. *shoves head into wash basin filled with water & yells* :D
Having already introduced Tom Hardy as Bane to the world with that creepy over the shoulder shot back in May, Christopher Nolan and the team behind his third and final epic Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises," have secretly revealed another first look at a new star. Found in the official website, h...
So one of the reasons why Christopher Nolan cast Tom Hardy as Bane was because of his performance in the film RocknRolla. Hardy stated that he thought he was cast because of his role in Bronson. He arrived on set only to learn that Nolan has never even seen Bronson. Neat!
thought: Christian Bane = Christian Bale married to Tom Hardy as Bane and not as himself. directed by Christopher Nolan.
Christian Bale..Gary Oldman..Tom Hardy..Joseph Gordon-Levitt..Anne Hathaway..Marion Cotillard..Morgan Freeman..Michael Caine & Christopher Nolan...I have waited for that movie for 4 years..Miss u Heath Ledger...Thank you..U made my day :) "The Dark Knight Rises" ...Mission accomplished!!
Tom Hardy presents the first Visionary Award to Christopher Nolan at the Visual Effects Society Awards on Feb 1, 2011. For more Tom Hardy check out charlidos.tumblr.com!
I liked a video Tom Hardy and Christopher Nolan at the VES awards 2011
The Warrior actor Tom Hardy stars as villain Bane opposite Bale's Batman in Christopher Nolan's upcoming sequel The Dark Knight Rises and has advised against upsetting Christian Bale. For all the latest news on Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, visi...
I can see a Christopher Nolan directed Bond film now. Tom Hardy as the villain. Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Felix Leiter. Marion Cotillard as a Bond Girl. Michael Caine as M. Morgan Freeman playing a black Q. What a great formula.
The Dark Knight Rises a typical Christopher Nolan fantastic Movie, Tom Hardy is a big shot of course not a word on Christian Bale but i will say that i have been more inpersed by The joker in The Dark Knight RIP Heath Ledger you made any comparison very hard with you
The Metal Gear Solid movie was announced and Hideo Kojima the creator said his personal picks of who to direct and who to play Solid Snake, would be Christopher Nolan to direct and Tom Hardy to play Snake. If this happens, this movie would be the best video game movie to be ever directed!
Jealous of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He's worked with Zooey Deschanel, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine and Christopher Nolan. All my favourite people.
Just finished watching "The Dark Knight Rises".never seen The Dark Knight so helpless yet so powerful. The best & epic conclusion I've ever seen of a superhero movie series. Hats off to Tom Hardy a.k.a Bane, never thought he could be that scary. Loved Joseph Gordon Levitt a.k.a John Blake especially his "SURPRISE" in the end. The awesomeness of Nolan strikes again! Christopher Nolan's Batman will be missed. It did just as it says."A FIRE WILL RISE" and blazed the fans.
Finally saw Dark Knight Rises in IMAX. Christopher Nolan has done it again. Amazing end to the trilogy. Joseph Gordon Levitt and Tom Hardy were brilliant.
qsmlj je vais regarder Inception because of Tom Hardy and Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Cillian Murphy and Christopher Nolan and just because.
What do Ken Watanabe, Asim Ahmad, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Marion Cotillard, Michael Caine, and Miranda Nolan have in common? They were all in Inception and Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy (somewhere along the line).
first Heath Ledger (Joker) and now Tom Hardy (Bane). Christopher Nolan really knows how to turn handsome heroes into powerful villains!
I am so excited to watch Dark Knight Rises not because Tom Hardy is buff as a beast, not because Christian Bale is intimidatingly gorgeous, not because Joseph Gordon-Levitt is adorable as a puppy, I am watching because of Christopher Nolan and his cinematic genius. Yes. Christopher Nolan. Ladies, I'll pick you up at 4:45pm. :D
I'm sending a psychological thriller to director Christopher Nolan's agent. I have the top sheet budget, an LOI from Mr. Tom Hardy, the synopsis, a cool Business Plan, and some scenes storyboarded. It can take six months to a year to get a greenlight or thumbs up or thumbs down, but if he likes it, I can't wait to have the opportunity to put some great actors and actresses back to work.
wondering. like Tim Burton with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, will Christopher Nolan allied with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard and Tom Hardy in more than one movie theme? Just we wait. ^_^
are the best Jason Stathum,Christian Bale,Tom Hardy n Christopher Nolan the
Well I just watched the movie, The Warrior. I now understand why Christopher Nolan chose Tom Hardy as Bane... great movie btw.
Bet nobody knew who Tom Hardy (Bane) was in Christopher Nolan's Inception. Don't worry, I didn't too.
Oh, Paul Wilm--here's some "love": I'm in love with Tom Hardy. So there. (Oh, but not as Bane in that Christopher Nolan thing. Anyone coulda done that.) He's dreamy.
Watching the 1995 and 1997 Batman made me realize just how amazing Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy was... including The Dark Knight Rises which ruled! Loved Bane, good job Tom Hardy.
Christopher Nolan and Tom Hardy on batman set.
I hear that's actually how Christopher Nolan directed Tom Hardy to do it. Weirder still is the fact you've done this yourself.
The Dark Knight Rises is officially the biggest letdown of my movie viewing career. Wth. Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale, a plague on both your houses. Anne Hathaway was horrible and nowhere near as ambiguous as she should've been. Tom Hardy, you did a fantastic job. Bane is my favorite villain of the trilogy, shame it had to be in such a pitiful excuse for a finale.
Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise continues with this Warner Bros. release, the third in the series. The story will pick up after the events of The Dark Knight, with Christian Bale returning as the Caped Crusader -- this time pitted against the deadly Bane (Tom Hardy) and Selina Kyle, aka Catwoma...
So fun fact I committed to Christopher Nolan character so much I tried to draw in a casual monobrow :) See if you can spot it. For those interested Tom Hardy...
Mad about Bat Man... Watched The Dark Knight Rises for 5 times ( since I have unlimited Cinema card :P) An epic film. It was rise of Christian Bale, rise of Tom Hardy, rise of Christopher Nolan... and. Rise of the legend before he ends. Love you BAT MAN
Christopher Nolan proved to impress once again with the Dark Knight Rises! Love the direction he took Tom Hardy's portrayal of the Bane character and phenomenal storyline! Hope this isn't the last we see out of Nolan's Batman Chronicles. Get out and see this one if ya get the chance. And if you already have... Go see it again!
Saw "The Dark Knight Rises" last night, and it was better than I thought it would be (which is saying something!) Christian Bale's ridiculous Batman voice didn't disappoint. Michelle Pfeiffer still stands as my favorite Catwoman, but Anne Hathaway's depiction was still very entertaining and true to the character. Honestly, if I didn't know Tom Hardy was playing Bane, I wouldn't have known it was him. His voice was both sinister and ironically comical, although muffled by his mask and hard to understand at times, and his physical transformation was downright impressive. The twists at the end weren't highly predictable (in fact, I didn't get parts of them until they were revealed,) and the amount of closure was perfect. Now, someone with a vision equal or greater to that of Christopher Nolan: pick up where he so cleverly left off!
*** The Dark Knight Rises epic movie brilliant piece of work by Christopher Nolan and amazing acting by Tom Hardy (Bane) and ofc Christian Bale (Batman) the best movie ever Beats the Avengers in ratings and storyline exept in earnings avengers is stil n°1 :D
Now I'm breaking the silence at last. Christopher Nolan you made the greatest Batman series ever. From script, acting to Graphics, everything was incredible. Even I like the cat woman as well, which I wasn't sure about that this pretty gamble of yours could destroy everything but you’re just brilliant. At last the cat woman curse is broken and people who didn’t like it please go and read about Batman first and then watch it because there were a lot of past references that you guys should know before watching it. Then you will enjoy more. Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Joseph levitt, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine: what a performace
Finally got to see the EPIC CONCLUSION! I've no words to describe it.How many times more shall I be amazed, fooled, stunned, shocked by that person, a certain Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale??? But I'm not happy with the Movie.coz I'll miss the Dark Knight and hope he RISES again. Tom Hardy was scarily awesome, Marion Cotillard was amazingly brilliant, Anne Hathaway was drop-dead gorgeous and sleek thief. The rest were equally great. And is Nolan coming back with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as ROBIN? U never know!
Saw Dark night rises... The best movie of the batman installment.. Loved it from the start nd great twist in the middle abt the villain, great end.. Hats off to Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy nd everybody who made the movie... Great Movie... Loved it..
"Okay, a little less 'There Will Be Blood' and more Sean Connery." - Christopher Nolan to Tom Hardy
The Dark Knight Rises Ricks Review: There may be the temptation to compare this movie to any other Superhero movie but that would not be what I would do. This Flick was so much more than that. Christopher Nolan has taken Batman to a different place. As a singular movie it was Amazing but when you look at it as the tight taut Trilogy that it is you realize that this thing is a mindblowing masterpiece. The way everything fits together when looked at in it's totality is the work of a well worthy weaver of stories putting together an intricate puzzle for the publics delight. The acting is top notch.Christian Bale as the Batman does more than growl while in the cowl. He manages to convey many visible wide ranging emotions even as he wears the mask. Bane is beyond being a worthy foe. Tom Hardy gives a physical performance as the administrator of much of Bats and Gotham Citys' pain.. The music alone for Bane is as chilling as his voice. When I heard Anne Hathaway was playing Catwoman I know there were questions ...
Thank you Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, & Tom Hardy... was perfect.
Thank you Christopher Nolan and Tom Hardy for making Bane not be some dumb Saturday afternoon Lucha Libre wrestler.
Check out some new behind-the-scenes pictures of Anne Hathaway, Christian Bale, and Tom Hardy on the set of Christopher Nolan's third and final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.
Finally got to watch "The Dark Knight Rises" over the weekend. The film was totally freakin' AWESOME. Christopher Nolan's direction was superb like in the first two films of the series. He seamlessly interwove elements from the graphic novels Batman : No Man's Land & Batman : Knightfall into the films' plot and the twist near the ending and the ending itself almost made my jaw drop. With regards to the cast : Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gordon Joseph Levitt, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Michael Caine & Morgan Freeman all of them played their roles with such conviction. THANK YOU FOR GIVING US BATMAN FANS ONE *** OF A RIDE!!!
Watched The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR). Will watch it again. That's how good it is. Christopher Nolan is a frickin' genius story teller. People who are trying to compare this with TDK, please get a life, both are different movies. For those who haven't watched it yet, kindly refresh your memories by watching "The Batman Begins". Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Anne Hathaway are the surprise packages. Michael Caine is BRILLIANT. Morgan Freeman is witty and intense as usual. Gary Oldman does justice to his role and Marion Cotillard is enigmatic. Tom Hardy's Bane is not the villain or Batman's nemesis and should not be compared to Heath Ledger's Joker, but he can beat the crap out of him. With a mask, there isn't much he could do. Watch it in theaters only.
Thanks to my wonderful sweetheart for taking me to see Dark Knight Rises! Christopher Nolan (director) and Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman) successfully did it again!!! I wasn't even sure what to expect, but I came out (after 3 hours btw), wanting to see the "next" chapter. . .whatever & whenever that may be. Joseph Gordon-Levitt (playing a young cop) is certainly making a name for himself, what a great actor he is becoming. . . and Anne Hathaway was a confident, skilled and seductive Cat woman. She is not the "nice girl" you are used to seeing in other films. Kudos to her! Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine are great as always. Excellent casting! Tom Hardy, who plays the cold-blooded villain, Bane, looks unrecognizable! That's dedication!!! I highly recommend this movie! It's a must see!
After finally seeing TDK:R I still love Christopher Nolan. As a whole it was an excellent trilogy and although TDK:R took forever to build to an epic conclusion it went out as perfectly as imaginable. Nolan's potrayal of Selina Kyle was masterful in my opinion. His handling of Talia Al Ghul was also great. Best of all was his final allusion that JGL's character could have been "Robin" despite the obvious fact that that would have been some very creative liberties. However, that movie butchered Bane worse than Batman Begins butchered R'as Al Ghul. I LOVE Tom Hardy but that was NOT Bane. The only thing they got right about Bane IMO was breaking the Bat. All in all a great movie; great trilogy but definately carried by the middle film.
Witnessed the Phenomenon called The Dark Knight Rises...! Perfect finish to a Perfect trilogy..!!! Christopher Nolan ws again at his best... Tom Hardy was no Heath Ledger... But BEN was really awesome..!!! Last bt not the least... Totally in love with Selina Kyle..!!! ;)
The Dark Knight Rises lives up to all expectations and Tom Hardy steals the show as Bane. Oh, and Christopher Nolan is God. Period.
Christopher Nolan likes to re-use actors. Inception-Batman. Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Maion Cotillard and Cillian Murphy.
I'm home & went to see "The Dark Knight Returns". Very dark, but it is best of the trilogy. No one outdoes Heath Ledger, but the story, special effects and gadgets are great. (Loved the bat!) Anne Hathaway was wonderful as Catwoman. What a body! Meow! Michelle Pheiffer had more attitude but Anne kept us interested. Tom Hardy as Bain was also a worthy adversary. The plot twists are interesting. All in all, I believe that Christopher Nolan is the most interesting and talented writer/director in today's cinema. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next.
Based on casting Christopher Nolan really likes Tom Hardy, Joseph G Levett &Cillian Murphy. On another note, Nolan has fantastic taste in men
I should have known that a lot of my favorite actors would be in the Dark Knight Rises, being that Christopher Nolan was the producer. Joseph Gordon Levitt, Marion Cotillard, and Tom Hardy are all great performers. I half expected to see Leo show up in a scene. Spoiler alert: I think Gordon Levitt is set up to be in the next installment of the batman series. I still don't quite know yet how I feel about the movie as a whole.
I agree, unbelievable! Christopher Nolan casts the best villains. Tom Hardy done so well competing with Heath Ledger.
Saw "The Dark Knight Rises" today...meh. Tom Hardy did a fantastic job with Bane, but it was such a disjointed movie. Weird pace, weird dialogue - just an overall odd movie. The whole series strikes such awkward notes from "Batman Begins" to this newest film that it makes me think that Christopher Nolan didn't really know which type of Batman movie he wanted to make. Just an odd moviegoing experience.
Just saw the Dark Knight Rises and its absolutely incredible. Tom Hardy was fantastic as Bane. Joseph Gordon Levitt was great. Christopher Nolan can do no wrong.
Just realized that Tom Hardy, the guy who played Bale in The Dark Knight Rises, was the forger in Inception...ahhh, Christopher Nolan!
I got to see the new Batman movie last night and it was not what I expected! It was better then what I expected! Christopher Nolan has carte blanche on any comicbook movie from now on!!! In fact, he's doing the Superman movie that comes out next year!!! Tom Hardy was excellent as Bane and the fight scene in the sewer blew me away!!!
Life is complete."The Dark Knight Rises" was everything I hoped for...thank you Christopher Nolan! p.s. Not sure who I have a bigger crush on Tom Hardy or Anne Hathaway.just saying...
"The Dark Knight Rises" - what an epic conclusion of One of the Best Trilogy Ever & the Best in the series of Batman, I have ever seen. Awesome performances by Christian Bale & Tom Hardy. & Exceptional Direction by Christopher Nolan. Had Goosebumps all over my body while leaving the Theatre. End couldn't have been better. Hope he continued with the series.but sadly he is not :( :(
Chuck Dixon praises Tom Hardy and Christopher Nolan's take on the villain.
The Dark Knight Rises was a fantastic film. Got me in all of the right places...action packed, interesting, emotional, intense. A solid 8.5/10. A perfect ending to Christopher Nolan's amazing trilogy. My only problem with the film though...was not in the film itself, but rather in the credits. Now i will say that Tom Hardy did an excellent job providing the looks and actions of Bane, but i was sad to see that they didn't give the legendary Sean Connery any credit for his amazing work as Bane's voice actor. A very unclassy move right there
Pocket Review: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. It’s not fair to us that Christopher Nolan makes movies so good you feel like you have to see them three times. It’s also not fair to him that every movie he ever makes is going to have to live up to (Batman 2) The Dark Knight. Watching Batman (3) TDKR is like spending time with an awesome guy after you’ve already met his much much cooler brother. Frankly Inception suffered the same comparison. Don’t get me wrong, The Dark Knight Returns is a great movie. It’s emotional, complex, suspenseful, the music is seamless and it’s got great performances by Joseph Gordon Levitt, Anne Hathaway and is a career maker for Tom Hardy. Its story moves along and keeps you guessing but it’s hard not to feel the long run time in a few places. The effects are of the “is that real or CG?” category and I’ll probably see it again... but it’s no Dark Knight. By my rating I’d pay $24 for the $12 ticket (because I’d see it twice), but I’d pay $46 ...
I can finally talk about Batman. As a Christopher Nolan movie it was good, as a comic book movie it was alright. As a sequel to The Dark Knight it was fine. Tom Hardy as Bane was amazing. Anne Hathaway when compared to Michelle Pfeiffer is ehhish. Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, and Christian Bale were excellent. The ending was too tame and was too predictable. The main "twist" at the end was so well done. But the "twist" ending was way too cheesy and dumb. Overall it was Fine it was a satisfactory ending to the Batman series. But The Dark Knight was so well done it's hard to get even close to topping that story and Heath Ledger's Joker.
Blown away by "The Dark Knight Rises". That was never easy for "Christopher Nolan" to beat the standards he set with "The Dark Knight" well he did it again but this time with an approach you would never have seen on Big Screen. When all the super heroes movies are about the supreme heroism, Batman Movies are all about cruel and brutal villains pushing the hero beyond his limits, and these are the movies where hero is in supporting role and villains have the central stage. "Joker" is registered as a greatest villain of all time but here comes "Bane" terrific and terrifying all the times, a shock will run through your body every time he appears on screen, he is simply outstanding and certainly "Tom Hardy" again stole the show as he did in "Warriors" and he completely outdone "The Batman" character not "Christian Bale" as he did a superb job being Batman. Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine with Morgan Freeman were phenomenal and let me tell you a good amount of screen time was given to every character in this m ...
The Dark Knight Rises...great movie.FREAKING AWESOME MUSIC (Thank you Hans Zimmer again!!) and a bit emotional!!! Tom Hardy, Christian Bale and Michael Caine are amazing.oh yeah and Christopher Nolan is the s!for making such a great trilogy!!
I think Christopher Nolan has the same dilemma as me: Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Tom Hardy? BOTH ARE GOOD WITH ME.
Watched The Dark Knight Rises awesome movie it is and hats off to Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale ,Tom Hardy and Anna Hathaway .really miss this series.
hi, hope you have seen the movie. Christopher Nolan has always been conscious and precautious about his work. Movie progresses slowly initialy, intro of Bane (Tom Hardy), Selina(Anna Hathaway) and John Blake(Joseph Gordon Levitt) happens...
way this picture is staged really makes it look like Batman's head on the left is actually Tom Hardy's hand coming out from behind Christopher Nolan. Like he's wearing a Batman hand-puppet or something. Love it.
The Dark Knight Rises breathtaking cinematography and narration... but when it came to the story, umm seemed more like "Batman Begins" with fresh garnishing!! However epic finale wen it comes to climax... very sleek Selina Kyle/Catwoman ... Tom Hardy was menacing a very true-n-raw villain!! Christopher Nolan & Hans Zimmer makes me wanna watch it again!! Recommending watch only on IMAX screens!!
Christian Bale is getting OLD. Christopher Nolan clearly can't make movies without certain actors. Gary Oldman is the greatest actor ever. Tom Hardy is beautiful even with the brute belly (scratch that, ESPECIALLY WITH) and 80% of his face covered. What a physical performance. He didn't even need to rely on his face.
I'm really lucky now to have seen all three Dark Knight movies in the theater. I'm sad that it has come to an end for now and I will be waiting for either a new twist with Robin in the mix or for Christian Bale to get back into the Bat suit. It was an astonishment of evil to see Christopher Nolan transform great talented actors into amazing villians on the Big Screen. Tom Hardy kicked *** as Bain and Heath Ledger would be proud... Hoping for Batman 4 please.
The Dark Knight Rises - An epic movie to end the trilogy in style! Another masterpiece from Christopher Nolan! \m/ Screenplay : 100 on 10. Movie Rating : Doesn't even need a rating, the best movie ever! Came up to the expectations very well, with vile Bane, impersonated by Tom Hardy and Catwoman, impersonated by Anne Hathaway stealing the show from Alfred (Micheal Caine) & L.Fox (Morgan Freeman). The final twist about who the mysterious trigger-man was and the important things to remember in life, taught to the knight himself (Christian Bale- THE BATMAN) makes the movie INTENSE. Some say that the movie was not upto the mark of the Dark Knight, yes it was not upto that mark but was BETTER THAN ANY OTHER SUPERHERO MOVIE EVER MADE! The movie was complete, explaining every other tiny notion and brought the truth out from within the dark. ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER MADE BY MAN-KIND. A MUST WATCH MOVIE INDEED! XD
The Dark Knight Rises was Epic I saw it twice both shows was pack it was amazing I was having Chills thought out the movie Tom Hardy did an awsome job playing bane and Anne Hathaway did a much better job playing catwoman both of them were Kicking *** in the movie.Christopher Nolan have did a amazing job wit all 3 films he made it more serious and more realistic I love the scores.I am going to see it 3 more times I cannot wait to get this on blu-ray!!! I will get movie A+++
The Dark Knight Rises. I can't think of anything to say off the start other than it was outstanding. Amazing. Excellent. Christopher Nolan weaved one of the most intricate super hero tales ever in 3 movies. All 3 movies are just amazing, and arguably the best superhero movies ever made. There are minor spoilers throughout this post, but I will still try to stay far away from them. Christopher Nolan brought in an all star class for this movie. Tom Hardy, Marion Cotilliard (spelling? No idea how to spell her last name), Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon Levitt. These 4 coupled with previous actors and actresses made the cast of this movie huge. And the amazing thing is, they all made their own character stand out. Tom Hardy's Bane was great. Menacing, evil, mentally and physically superior to everyone made Bane seem like the only villain Batman could not defeat. Marion's Miranda Tate didn't have much screen time until the end, but she was a great love interest for Bruce. Anna Hathaway pulled a rabbit out of h ...
Tom Hardy (Eames/Bane), Cillian Murphy (Robert Fischer/Scarecrow) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Arthur/John Blake) I don't think you understand what you have started. There is a storm coming. A storm so severe that you all and Christopher Nolan are gonna to wonder how you ever thought you could overload the sensories of fangirls and survive. I kinda wanna watch Inception, then The Dark Knight Rises, THEN American Psycho, then go to sleep. And then wake up in the dead of night, watch the climax of G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (where Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Cobra Commander) then go back to sleep. The multiformity of the nightmares I will have will only be equaled by the ferocity of them. Quick trivia: Christian Bale's character in American Psycho was a wealthy Serial Killer named Bateman, and Christopher Nolan's first film was about a thief named Mr. Cobb.
Christopher Nolan, I just don't know about this one... I just don't know. Tom Hardy, you never let me down :)
"The Dark Knight Rises" was EPIC! INCREDIBLE! Tom Hardy, you are a hero of mine! Christopher Nolan, I would act for FREE for you. Your Endings are GREAT!
Just got back from THE Dark Knight Rises - a complex, brooding and thoughtful conclusion to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy - also strangely poignant in light of the events in Colorado. This is not an easy popcorn superhero film, it requires a great deal of thought and attention - stellar performances all around, Michael Cain as Alfred is truly marvelous - and the villains? Tom Hardy is ruthless as Bane, while Anne Hathaway shine as Catwoman, plenty of action, too...not a film for young children, however. A marvelous conclusion to the series.
A. Maz. Ing. Christopher Nolan is a genius. Tom Hardy is so awesome!!!
Joseph Gordon-Levitt at the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises in NYC, July 16, talking about Tom Hardy and Christopher Nolan.
The Dark Knight Rises was amazing. A great conclusion to a terrific trilogy. Christopher Nolan has made a very thoughtful film with important themes, a great hero and an amazing villain. Tom Hardy's performance as Bane was amazing and jawdropping. Well done Nolan. If you go see it I promise you won't be disappointed. Probably the best comic book film of the year right next to Marvel's The Avengers.
First and foremost: My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and victims of the Colorado movie theater shooting. It was a senseless, tragic and awful event perpetrated by a clearly disturbed individual. I also pray for the parents of the shooter who will now have to live knowing their son was responsible for this horrific act. That all being said: I attended the Fargo premiere and I really enjoyed the film. Tom Hardy has reinforced himself as one of my favorite actors. Seriously watch the movie "Bronson" if you haven't seen it. Thank you Christopher Nolan for a great trilogy.
Four things about the Dark Knight Rises: 1. Christopher Nolan himself may in fact not only be a directing genius but an actual superhero. 2. I did not think it was even remotely possible to make Tom Hardy look anything close to unattractive. I was wrong. 3. Could someone actually pull off the leather leggings just as well as Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry? Oh, how dare you even question it. And lastly, 4. Stop eating, drinking or even thinking about food at least three hours before you see the movie. You'll still have to get up and go pee at least twice. Resist.
My take on Dark Knight Rises.Awesome movie overall.good story and twist.Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy held it down.Bane was such a badass and Batman had to pull all the stops.my rating A.a must see.very good job as alway Christopher Nolan, your direction never fails to keep me entertained
My Review On "Dark Knight Rises": " The movie was sublime. People might have expected this movie to be an action-packed flick...but the beauty of this movie lies somewhere else...If "Dark Knight" was about the mayhem created by Joker and forcing Batman to break his own rules, then "Dark Knight Rises" is all about getting over your fear.the fear of putting yourself down...the fear of living up to the expectations of people... The movie doesn't needed over the top action sequences... Bruce Wayne- the fall and rise of Bruce Wayne was the ultimate action...How he manages to choose between his loved ones and his responsibilities.Christian Bale is superb. Tom Hardy "Bane"- He has lived the character quite beautifully...it was like watching Massacre Done by a Single Man. Anna Hathaway- Fall in love with Anna Hathaway as how she almost made us frenzy, nd yes she looked sexy in both ways. Joseph Gordon-Lewitt- He proved he was worth of doing a cop role or i say a new role in the making. Mr. Christopher Nolan- Yo ...
watched Christopher Nolan's THE Dark Knight Rises (in glorious 70mm IMAX) last night. BEST MOVIE OF 2012 SO FAR. Never have I witnessed a modern spectacle this brilliant & emotionally resonant. The grandeur of Nolan's epic socio-political drama is one of both scope & characterization brilliantly driven by Christian Bale, Joe Levitt, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman & the utterly frightening monster that is Tom Hardy in this movie. A Best Picture Nomination has never been more deserving. Mr. Nolan, you have once again floored me. 10/10.
The Dark Knight Rises. what would i say?. i cant find an adjective to describe... the first ever movie that has given me feelings that i cant express... it just carried me away right from the start... who takes the credit? is it Christopher Nolan? or is it Christian Bale? or the monster terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy)? he is monstrous... its not just the rise of the Dark Knight... its the rise of fan club to Nolan, i would like to put... the word awesome is just enough to describe... watch it n feel it...
just saw batman!!! Really good, but spoiler alert, batman is actually DiCaprio dreaming a couple levels deeper than limbo and he thinks Gordan-levitt is a cop, Tom Hardy is some sort of super villain, and Marion Cotillard is a sexy woman. Christopher Nolan just trolled the world!
Before I start my rant on how awesome the movie was, I need to say this.. Christopher Nolan, Thank you for an amazing and memorable trilogy to the comic book superhero known as Batman and you told the story better than anyone else could! Your fanbase known as The Nolanites couldnt be more proud of you! Ok so here it goes... THE Dark Knight Rises WAS FREAKIN INCREDIBLE! A MASTERPIECE TO SAY THE LEAST! Also it was the first comic book movie trilogy that was awesome the whole way through!!! Tom Hardy should get an Academy Award for his performance as Bane! Just sayin. Before, I forget, there is a teaser trailer at the beginning for Superman: Man of Steel and it is surely worth watching bc Henry Cavill is gonna show the world that this upcoming Superman movie is gonna be amazing! :) P.S Anne Hathaway rocked it out as Catwoman and seriously should get her own movie!
It is past midnight, therefore it is time for me to spill my thoughts concerning "The Dark Knight Rises" which i have been holding in for over 24 hours now. In short, it was incredible. It is a film of overflowing intensity from start to finish (shortest three hours of my life). While it IS NOT as good as The Dark Knight, it comes close. Bale actually gets to play the character of Bruce Wayne through most of the film, Tom Hardy delivers and unbelievably menacing performance as Bane and Anne Hathaway is a believable though somewhat underdeveloped Catwoman. Michael Caine was the highlight of the film for me. He has always been a good Alfred but he gets raw and emotional in this one and gives an Oscar nod worthy performance. In short, Christopher Nolan has created a classic trilogy comparable to The Lord of the Rings trilogy or the original Star Wars trilogy. If you haven't seen it already tonight, GO SEE IT FIRST THING TOMORROW!
Dark Knight Rises midnight showing tonight! Gonna say "Dickens" every time something is similar to "A Tale of Two Cities". Can't wait to see Christian Bale, JGL, Tom Hardy, Marion Cottiard, Cillian Murphy, Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine kick some *** Less enthused about Anne Hatheway's overacting. but Christopher Nolan is just too cool.
Christopher Nolan is used to having his films overanalyzed, but we doubt he was expecting this one. Rush Limbaugh has come under the impression that the villainous Bane, played by Tom Hardy in The
Costume design A digitally-mapped model of Tom Hardy's face and skull was used to design and construct Bane's mask. Costume designer Lindy Hemming explained that Bane uses a mask to inhale an analgesic gas, which, in director Christopher Nolan words, "keeps his pain just below the threshold so he can function." Costume effects supervisor Graham Churchyard created a three-dimensional model of actor Tom Hardy's face and skull to design the mask, allowing the mask to perfectly conform to the contours of Hardy's face. Hemming personally designed Bane's coat, which she admitted took two years to complete. Taking inspiration from a Swedish army jacket and a frock coat from the French Revolution, it was designed to make Bane look like equal parts dictatorial and revolutionary, "like an amalgam of all sorts of bits and pieces he cobbled together, as he passed through some very remote places". The design was difficult as Hemming struggled to find a tailor in Los Angeles who could work with shearlin ...
'The Dark Knight Rises', Christopher Nolan brings his Batman trilogy to a close, with Christian Bale still good as Batman and Bruce Wayne. He's been out of action but a burglar (Anne Hathaway) gets him back in the game, just as villain Bane (Tom Hardy) comes to Gotham, bent on destorying it. Not as ...
Dark Knight Rises was AWESOME! no one can ever make another Batman movie unless Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale are behind it. Tom Hardy was sooo good in it!!
Christopher Nolan is English. Christian Bale is English. Michael Caine is English. Gary Oldman is English. Liam Neeson is Irish. Cilian Murphy is Irish. Tom Hardy is English. Juno Temple is English. Marion Cottilard is French and Heath Ledger was Australian. My dear Americans, do you understand now what had to be done to make this Batman series work?
Christopher Nolan,Christian Bale...&Tom Hardy is playing Bane...I saw his role in Charlie Bronson. Knight is going to be spectacular.
Tom Hardy has become one of the hottest stars in Hollywood over the last few years, thanks to his no holds barred turn in Bronson and eyecatching role in Christopher Nolan's Inception. No wonder, then, that Nolan turned to the actor when it came to casting Bane: there aren't many in …
Batman has faced Scarecrow, The Joker and in Christopher Nolan's third "Dark Knight" installment, the caped crusader will take on possibly his toughest foe. When Nolan decided that Bane - an almost unstoppable juggernaut known in the comic books for breaking Batman's back - …
Hans Zimmerman on the soundtrack. Christopher Nolan the mastermind. Christian Bale and Tom Hardy holding it down. I need to watch it 3 times
Everyone who knows me knows im a huge batman fan but in afew weeks when Dark Knight hits theaters i think im goin to be rooting for bane. Tom Hardy kills the role of bane. And no director in our life time will ever come close to Christopher Nolan's vision of batman.NO ONE lol jus throwin that out there
I think we should start petition for Christopher Nolan and Michael Fassbender to do a file together. Maybe a bit of Tom Hardy and Cristian Bale can be in it too.
Excited about Dark Knight Rises, but from the pictures Bane (Tom Hardy) looks very small... But I trust Christopher Nolan. Maybe they'll use CGI.
Can't wait for "The Dark Knight Rises" to come out next month. I think they could've had a better cast for the movie though. Sorry Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy. Bane was huge and muscular and this guy looks puny and weak. Still siked for the movie! You can never predict what Christopher Nolan's going to come up with.,
I like how Christopher Nolan picks the same actors to be in his movies. He should've put Leonardo Dicaprio in Dark Knight Rises. There would've been an EPIC Titanic scene. *Also, Tom Hardy, the forger of Inception, is playing Bane.
Warner Bros. has just unleashed three character banners for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. “The Dark Knight Rises” is a presentation of Warner Bros. Pictures, in association with Legendary Pictures. Slated for release beginning July 19, 2012.
Well, this is interesting. With the final installment of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight saga set to open next month, some new background about the development of the flick has come out via some interviews with the cast and crew. Most tantalizing? Tom Hardy's Bane wasn't the first idea for Batman's ...
Dark Knight’s Tumbler, Bat-Pod to make Philly stops 05/24/2012 4:50 PM A baby in a Batman T-shirt is drawfed by the Tumbler, the armored update of the Batmobile, at a tour stop in Tulsa, OK. View gallery By Peter Mucha INQUIRER STAFF WRITER The Tumbler, the armored and heavily armed version of the Batmobile from Christopher Nolan’s caped crusader trilogy, will make a few stops in the area next week. Fans can also see and get photographed with the Bat-Pod, a menacing mega-motorbike formed from parts of the Tumbler in the second film, The Dark Knight (2008), sequel to Batman Begins (2005). It’s part of a promotional tour, of course, for the third installment, The Dark Knight Rises, due in theaters July 20. Although some fans have shown up dressed as characters at previous stops, don’t expect to see the likes of actual stars Christian Bale (Batman), Anne Hathaway (Catwoman) or Tom Hardy (supervillain Bane). The dates: May 29, 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Franklin Institute. May 30, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Walmar ...
Christopher Nolan owes a lot to the things that have formed his reputation in Hollywood- he’s now known as the mind-bender, with Memento and Inception becoming cult-classics, and he’s known as the comic-book movie king with The Dark Knight- likewise becoming a cult- classic- but is there another dis...
Tom Hardy, I hope he does Bane justice in The Dark Knight Rises. Same with Anne Hathaway, whom is physically flawless to me, as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. Bane was terrible in those AWFUL Joel Schumacher's Batman & Robin and Halle Berry was just as awful as Catwoman in her own movie. But, with Christopher Nolan's directing, writing, producing talents & visionary style I'm a bit confident that Tom & Anne will suffice as Bane & Catwoman. It'd be hard to top The Dark Knight and the late Heath Ledger's Joker and Aaron Eckhart's Two-Face/Harvey Dent, but I'm hoping The Dark Knight Rises will do JUST AS WELL as The Dark Knight.
Tom Hardy inspired by Kermit: Christopher Nolan feels a tremendous responsibility to impress with... RT
Tom Hardy talks revealingly about training and donning Bane's mask, as well as his many influences (Kermit The Frog?!) while his co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt reveals what makes Christopher Nolan such a special director.
Total Film have just debuted a brand new image of Hardy as the brutal villain Bane from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. The actor also talks about wearing the mask, and his training to get the character's monstrous look..
Inception stars Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy talk with Access' Maria Menounos about working with director Christopher Nolan
I like Christopher Nolan's Batman films, and I really like Tom hardy as Bane, but seriously there so many other good villains I would of loved to see Nolan's interpretation of.
I bet Christopher Nolan flipped a coin to decide whether or not to kill Tom Hardy before the next batman movie premieres.
Tom Hardy speaks about THAT mumbly Dark Knight Rises ... - Christopher Nolan has also chatt...
Also, Christopher Nolan talks about his filming techniques and why he likes film and IMAX so much.
Bane looks kinda badass in the new Batman. God Bless you Tom Hardy and Christopher Nolan. Regardless of the Batgirl rumors or how stupid Catwoman looks, Bane is a beast as he should be. Well done.
Christopher Nolan, Tom Hardy, and Anne Hathaway share new insight into the characters behind this final Batman adventure.
Tom Hardy wants to be Bond and he wants Christopher Nolan to direct!! A Nolan Bond?? that Will be Amazing!!
