6 years ago today, Anne Hathaway was announced as Catwoman and Tom Hardy as Bane. Time flies!
Watching The Dark Knight Rises for 50 millionth time. Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway get better every time. Tom Hardy's accent gets worse.
And the cast was all star! Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Christian Bale and Tom Hardy... Smh. 2004 Lakers. 😢
Tom Hardy, Jesse Williams, Anne Hathaway projects will get all my monies. Forever.
The Dark Knight Rises (2012) Cast: Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt Director: Christopher Nolan Synopsis: Christian Bale stars as both the classic caped crusader and his billionaire alter-ego, Bruce Wayne. In this third installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman films, Bruce Wayne no longer feels that the City of Gotham needs a hero and goes on a secluded hiatus. However, when a new villain, Bane (Tom Hardy), threatens Gotham City, Wayne dons his cape and mask once more. Review: Christopher Nolan brings yet another adrenaline-filled, comic-inspired movie to the Big Screen. We see all sorts of familiar faces this time around, but the audience is introduced to a few new characters as well. When crisis threatens Gotham City, Bruce Wayne jumps back into the Batmobile to fight crime. Batman is joined on his quest by an eager orphaned cop (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a seductive cat burglar (Anne Hathaway), and a violent masked villain (Tom Hardy). This film served as great entert ...
Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine are all great, and I love Anne Hathaway, but, as with the other two, Gary Oldman steals this.
Seems Man of Steel is now breaking records here in our country and watching this film twice is not enough for me with a perfect cast and 2 directors making a lethal combination in creating this blockbuster. But anyway it's time for me to post my Top 5 favorite superhero films. So now shall we begin 5. Iron Man - I first heard of this superhero film back in 2007 at first i thought it's gonna be like an X-Men type film but after watching it 5 years ago. Man this is a cool film with great acting, great special effects, awesome soundtracks and visual effects as well and i think this is the best of the 3. 4. The Dark Knight Rises - Mr.nolan should've end his Dark Knight Trilogy since it became an inspiration to other superhero films there but that is his decision. This Batman is i can say the emotional of all Bane is i can say a villain that everyone loves to hate Tom Hardy did a good job in his role as the brutal terrorist but the reason that made me love this film was Anne Hathaway she was perfect as Sel ...
The Dark Knight Rises: written by Christopher Nolan, Jonathan Nolan, and David S. Goyer; directed by Christopher Nolan; starring Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Tom Hardy (Bane), Michael Caine (Alfred), Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon), Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle/The Cat), Marion Cotillard (Miranda), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (John Blake), and Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox) (2012): I enjoyed seeing this again, this time on the small screen, but unlike The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises doesn't become more understandable on TV. And by 'understandable,' I mean, 'What the *** was Nolan thinking with the godawful sound-mixing on this movie? Either Christopher Nolan is deaf or the sound mixing on The Dark Knight Rises was designed for some ideal, 100-channel speaker system that most homes and theatres don't have or Christopher Nolan was trying to make the action-movie equivalent of Robert Altman's McCabe and Mrs. Miller, with its purposefully muffled dialogue. Whatever. Add in the periodically incomprehe ...
The batman trilogy is epic. Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Tom Hardy and Christian Bale are so class
I am in love with this cast, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman. Ugh too good.
Heath Ledger, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Aaron Eckhart, and Christian Bale. And people wonder why I love Batman.
How didn't "The Dark Knight Rises" get any nominations for anything? No Christian Bale,Tom Hardy,Anne Hathaway or the ingenious Christopher Nolan get a nod for anything.Stupid Oscars!!
Finally saw Dark Knight Rises last night...omg, that was a fantastic movie. Anne Hathaway has come a long way from Princess Diaries and Joseph Gordon-Levitt has come a long way from Third Rock From the Sun...Tom Hardy was amazing!! And of course, Christian Bale is one of my next ex husbands, always...
AMAZING FILM The Dark Knight Rises (2012) d. Christopher Nolan, 164 minutes Film Plot Summary The bleak and despairing story commenced eight years after the end of the previous film, with self-tortured Batman wounded with a limp and portrayed as a recluse-fugitive for the previous three years. The deceptions from the previous film remained - that "white knight" Gotham City DA Harvey Dent was a crime-fighting hero (inspiring the tough-on-crime Dent Act), although he was really a mad and psychotic vigilante named Two-Face, and that Batman was not a hero but a fugitive thug. New characters included idealistic and earnest Gotham City police officer John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Wayne Enterprises board member and love-interest Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard), and Batman's mysterious adversaries: feisty, amoral and slinky high-society con-artist Selina Kyle - Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and evil muzzle-mask-faced terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy). Batman's old allies continue to be loyal butler and father figure Alfr ...

Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon Levitt in a man sandwich please, maybe a side of Anne Hathaway
Joseph-Gordon Levit, Christan Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldham and Anne Hathaway are all amazing actors/actress
5. The Avengers- This was probably the most entertaining action movie of the year, how much of us were screaming with joy during the last 15 minutes of this movie. Not only did Joss Whedon make this idea work really well but he also injected some very well timed scenes. Notable performances come from all the actors and there wasn’t one person I didn’t like in this movie. It’s an ensemble piece and should be treated as such. The ultimate comic book movie, I can’t wait for the sequel. 4. The Dark Knight Rises- Christian Bale puts on his cape one last time to play the Dark Knight and attempt to foil Tom Hardy’s Bane from completely destroying Gotham City. While The Avengers was effects driven, this is much a darker premise and dramatic tone. Bale gives a welcome back performance as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Two other honors go to Anne Hathaway as the sleek and sexy Selina Kyle/Catwoman and Tom Hardy gives a menacing performance as the crafty and brute Bane. Plus his voice was pretty kick *** All the . ...

Having already introduced Tom Hardy as Bane to the world with that creepy over the shoulder shot back in May, Christopher Nolan and the team behind his third and final epic Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises," have secretly revealed another first look at a new star. Found in the official website, h...
Christian Bale..Gary Oldman..Tom Hardy..Joseph Gordon-Levitt..Anne Hathaway..Marion Cotillard..Morgan Freeman..Michael Caine & Christopher Nolan...I have waited for that movie for 4 years..Miss u Heath Ledger...Thank you..U made my day :) "The Dark Knight Rises" ...Mission accomplished!!
3 stars. Mostly for Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy and JGL. I wasn't overly impressed with the plot.
Kick *** fight scenes and Anne Hathaway in super-tight leather by ...
I would like to marry Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy & Anne Hathaway, please!
Even though I liked Dark Knight Rises, I still don't care too much for Christian Bale. Luckily Tom Hardy did a nice job as the villain Bane while Anne Hathaway was great as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman.
The Dark Knight Trilogy is my all time favourite! Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Joseph gordan-levit, Anne Hathaway & Tom Hardy! Awesome!!!
The Dark Knight Rises = *** 1/2. Great ending to the Nolan trilogy. Anne Hathaway makes a great Catwoman. Tom Hardy a great Bane. Joseph Gordon Levitt held his own as Blake. Great opening and climactic final hour.
Finally saw the Dark Knight. Tom Hardy is friggin brilliant . His version of Bains voice will be identified as Bain for a looong time. The film was great, a lot of characters were laid down for ground work in a future film that won't ever be made :( . Anne Hathaway did a great job of portraying Catwoman but physically i didn't like the vibe. She doesn't have that killer instinct though it didn't really destroy anything for me cuz the performance was amazing.
Batman Villains, Real active names of the Villains: - Heath Ledger is/as The Joker -Aaron Eckhart is/as Two-Face -Tom Hardy is/as Bane -Anne Hathaway is/as Catwoman -Johnny Depp or David Tennant is/as The Riddler -Philip Setmour Hoffman or Bob Hoskins is/as The Penguin -Kristen Bell is/as Harley Quinn and I dont know about the new Mr.Freeze yet
Okay, "The Dark Knight Rises." While it was everything I expected, I found it kind of underwhelming. It's wierd to see Michael Caine displaying so much hammy emotion, and I honestly liked Tom Hardy better as Shinzon. That said, the saving grace for me was (suprisingly) Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. I was skeptical to see cute little innocent Ella Enchanted grow up, but it worked!
Saw "The Dark Knight Rises"... Good movie but Dark knoght was so much better, Tom Hardy is No Heath Ledger! Anne Hathaway surprised me..but she could've taken it further! Can't wait to see her in "Les Miserables" Dec 14th!!
Okay, NOW my Parents and I went to see "the Dark Knight Rises" tonight and we enjoyed it (though Dad did have a little problem with all the explosions). Some bits I got the second I saw them onscreen, but there were still a few surprises that caught me unexpectedly. Must say: Tom Hardy did a much, MUCH BETTER Job as Bane, than Topher Grace did as Venom/Eddie Brock. I liked 2/3rds of the film: when Batman was there (especially with Bane) and when Anne Hathaway was onscreen. (*grl*)
I'de be fine if I never saw another Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, or Tom Hardy film ever again.
My brother and I went to see Dark Knight Rises. It is an awesome movie. - Anne Hathaway did an excellent job as a CatWoman. She's equal as Michelle Phiefer. - The story are good. - Tom Hardy is great as Bane character. - Christian Bale might have lost some weight in the movie. Movie rating: 9/10 :) It's a must see movie. Get your butt out of the house and go see the movie at theater.
Thoughts on Batman. Christian Bale really gets the relationship between Batman and Bruce Wayne. Bane got shafted. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the effing man, as always. Tom Hardy was also the effing man. I hate Anne Hathaway. Better than it's predecesor. Joker was the better villain though.
just saw "The Dark Knight Rises" and I considered to be the greatest movie of the year so far and will definitely remain of the greatest films of this entire year! I strongly recommend that anyone go see film. Even if you are not a Dark Knight fanatic, but if you enjoy just seeing a great movie, then i high urge you go see this! I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this film from the amazing performance of the entire cast to the storyline itself. Tom Hardy's performance of Bane equally matched Heath Ledger's performance in "The Dark Knight" . Also, i was extremely satisfied with Anne Hathaway's performance of Catwoman, even though it felt as though many people felt there was no need for the character itself. But yet again, it's Anne Hathaway so that should pretty much have you sold on the idea in the first place! Anyway, i love this film and I think everyone should go see this masterpiece, unless you don't have access to a movie theatre which kinda stinks! So go enjoy this film and have some chocolate ...
the Dark Knight Rises is a good film. Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were great additions to the film.
Anne Hathaway surprisingly made a great Catwoman and Tom Hardy was a beast as Bane! Very strong ending as well...
The Dark Knight Rises is officially the biggest letdown of my movie viewing career. Wth. Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale, a plague on both your houses. Anne Hathaway was horrible and nowhere near as ambiguous as she should've been. Tom Hardy, you did a fantastic job. Bane is my favorite villain of the trilogy, shame it had to be in such a pitiful excuse for a finale.
It seems unfair that Christian Bale gets to do 'growly voice', Tom Hardy got to do a Sean Connery impression but Anne Hathaway didn't get to do a silly voice at all... Sexism?
I did go to see the latest Batman movie. A muddle - close to incomprehensible if you didn't see Batman II (I didn't) and if you didn't have the soundtrack pumped directly into your ears. Anthony Lane in The New Yorker (I know, he only likes the obscure - hates everything else) had it right: "Batman speaks in his usual bronchial whisper, and Bane wears a crablike mask over the lower part of his face - a disastrous burden [for the actor Tom Hardy]. Lane says he made out about a third of Bane's dialogue; that was 33% more than I could hear. The machines are fun, though, and Anne Hathaway is lovely. "Batman Begins" - hands down better.
Finally saw the Dark Knight Rises, gotta say i really couldn't stand bane's voice... I've only seen Tom Hardy in 2 movies and I couldn't understand him in either. On the other hand Anne Hathaway was better than I expected.
Check out some new behind-the-scenes pictures of Anne Hathaway, Christian Bale, and Tom Hardy…
Dark Knight Rises.INCREDIBLE FRICKIN' MOVIE! Seriously omg! Anne Hathaway is the best Catwoman...but then I am biased because I love that actress in all her movies! Wish they hadn't covered up Tom Hardy's pretty face and accent though!
Saw "The Dark Knight Rises" last night, and it was better than I thought it would be (which is saying something!) Christian Bale's ridiculous Batman voice didn't disappoint. Michelle Pfeiffer still stands as my favorite Catwoman, but Anne Hathaway's depiction was still very entertaining and true to the character. Honestly, if I didn't know Tom Hardy was playing Bane, I wouldn't have known it was him. His voice was both sinister and ironically comical, although muffled by his mask and hard to understand at times, and his physical transformation was downright impressive. The twists at the end weren't highly predictable (in fact, I didn't get parts of them until they were revealed,) and the amount of closure was perfect. Now, someone with a vision equal or greater to that of Christopher Nolan: pick up where he so cleverly left off!
Now I'm breaking the silence at last. Christopher Nolan you made the greatest Batman series ever. From script, acting to Graphics, everything was incredible. Even I like the cat woman as well, which I wasn't sure about that this pretty gamble of yours could destroy everything but you’re just brilliant. At last the cat woman curse is broken and people who didn’t like it please go and read about Batman first and then watch it because there were a lot of past references that you guys should know before watching it. Then you will enjoy more. Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Joseph levitt, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine: what a performace
Finally got to see the EPIC CONCLUSION! I've no words to describe it.How many times more shall I be amazed, fooled, stunned, shocked by that person, a certain Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale??? But I'm not happy with the Movie.coz I'll miss the Dark Knight and hope he RISES again. Tom Hardy was scarily awesome, Marion Cotillard was amazingly brilliant, Anne Hathaway was drop-dead gorgeous and sleek thief. The rest were equally great. And is Nolan coming back with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as ROBIN? U never know!
Watching this Tuesday. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway in one film. Been dying for this thing!
Half time in Batman. Conclusions so far: Tom Hardy is stacked, Christian Bale is cool and Anne Hathaway is hot.
Hi this weeks review is for The Dark Knight Rises. Christopher Nolan's final installment of his Batman Trilogy. although the premier was darkened by the tragedy of the events in America, this hasn't put viewers off going to see it, as it has now become the fastest grossing film of the year in the UK so far! passing the £30 million mark in just 10 days. without giving to much of the plot away the Dark Knight Rises picks up 8 years later from the events of the Dark Knight where we find Gotham City a new crime free zone and where the batman is no longer required.until now.enter the carnage that is BANE!(Tom Hardy) a man who seems utterly world set on destroying and bringing Gotham to its knees. a man that seems to have no weakness or remorse. Batman seems to have met is true match with bane. its not just Bane that the batman has to compete against in this blockbuster though, he also has to pitch himself up against the devilish sexi catwomen (Anne Hathaway), a cat burglar with a difference, a secretive and s ...
Anne Hathaway nailed that! She put Christian Bale and Tom Hardy to shame.
The Dark Knight Rises Ricks Review: There may be the temptation to compare this movie to any other Superhero movie but that would not be what I would do. This Flick was so much more than that. Christopher Nolan has taken Batman to a different place. As a singular movie it was Amazing but when you look at it as the tight taut Trilogy that it is you realize that this thing is a mindblowing masterpiece. The way everything fits together when looked at in it's totality is the work of a well worthy weaver of stories putting together an intricate puzzle for the publics delight. The acting is top notch.Christian Bale as the Batman does more than growl while in the cowl. He manages to convey many visible wide ranging emotions even as he wears the mask. Bane is beyond being a worthy foe. Tom Hardy gives a physical performance as the administrator of much of Bats and Gotham Citys' pain.. The music alone for Bane is as chilling as his voice. When I heard Anne Hathaway was playing Catwoman I know there were questions ...
Just got back from watching The Dark Knight Rises. Loved it!! Bale was as yummy as ever (apart from the annoying Batman voice). Michael Caine almost made me cry, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was adorable and Tom Hardy got so BIG!! Oh and there was a small teaser for Man of Steel starring the gorgeous Henry Cavill. Yup, I love super hero movies. Oh, and Anne Hathaway was very good too. Okay... I'll stop now.
I am going to be 100% honest when I say the following: I liked "The Dark Knight Rises" the best of Nolan's trilogy. Why? Well where do I start. First off, anyone who knows me knows that I am not a fan of Bale's portrayal as Batman. In this film, we only see him as Batman a few times, but most of the film he spends as Bruce Wayne, which is fine by me. Second, it had much better pacing than its two predecessors. More action, less dragging. As for the other performances, Tom Hardy was a decent enough Bane, and definitely an improvement over Schumacher's FrankenBane. However, I wasn't crazy about his "Sean Connery meets Darth Vader" voice. Despite this, he was definitely pure evil, but I don't think he will be anywhere near as iconic or memorable as Ledger's Joker. What can I say about Anne Hathaway's Catwoman? She was purr-fect. (Sorry, couldn't resist) By far, she was the best Catwoman to date. Quick, seductive, and pretty darn goodlooking in tight leather. I think the best performance in the fi ...
Cannot believe how good The Dark Knight Rises was!! Absolutely Fantastic, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Chris Nolan i take off my hat, ooh and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, Puur ;)
Caleb and I saw "The Dark Knight Rises" on Saturday. Late Saturday. We were the last two people to leave the entire theater. But back to the movie. I liked it. I think the second one is still my favorite just because it seems to move a little faster. "Rises" is certainly the talkiest of the three Nolen Batman films, with many lengthy soliloquies all through the movie. Anne Hathaway is a GREAT Catwoman, though I don't think she is ever actually called that. There are a few odd choices in the direction/editing of the movie with long stretches where characters are not shown at all (looking at you Alfred), and scenes are cut at odd times without complete resolution (in my opinion). Tom Hardy as Bane is great. Different from the comics, but still very menacing, confident, and fearless. There were lots of actors from other places in small roles too: Christopher Judge (Teal'c from "Stargate SG-1"), Matthew Modine, Desmond Harrington (Quinn on "Dexter"), and several others. Anyway, that's my spoiler- ...
...hmmm... good moments and really bad ones. Tom Hardy rocks, as well as(I can't believe I'm saying this) Anne Hathaway
its a perfect way to end the trilogy. Tom Hardy is amazing as Bane as is Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle.
Watched The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR). Will watch it again. That's how good it is. Christopher Nolan is a frickin' genius story teller. People who are trying to compare this with TDK, please get a life, both are different movies. For those who haven't watched it yet, kindly refresh your memories by watching "The Batman Begins". Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Anne Hathaway are the surprise packages. Michael Caine is BRILLIANT. Morgan Freeman is witty and intense as usual. Gary Oldman does justice to his role and Marion Cotillard is enigmatic. Tom Hardy's Bane is not the villain or Batman's nemesis and should not be compared to Heath Ledger's Joker, but he can beat the crap out of him. With a mask, there isn't much he could do. Watch it in theaters only.
Dark Knight Rises with Jackson Isaninja Velasquez- Solid "A". Tom Hardy's "Bane"- Solid "A-". Christian Bale's scratchy, grating Batman voice- a frustrating "C-". Jack making a joke implying his wish to make out with Anne Hathaway: a hilarious "A+". Commissioner Gordon reading a passage from Sydney Carton's guillotine-side speech from my favorite Dickens novel: the standard grading scale cannot encompass the awesomeness of the moment.
I'm home & went to see "The Dark Knight Returns". Very dark, but it is best of the trilogy. No one outdoes Heath Ledger, but the story, special effects and gadgets are great. (Loved the bat!) Anne Hathaway was wonderful as Catwoman. What a body! Meow! Michelle Pheiffer had more attitude but Anne kept us interested. Tom Hardy as Bain was also a worthy adversary. The plot twists are interesting. All in all, I believe that Christopher Nolan is the most interesting and talented writer/director in today's cinema. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next.
Movie was GREAT! What a cast! Bale was brilliant again as Batman/Bruce Wayne. Loved Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. Great to see Michael Caine again as well as Morgan Freeman. Joseph Gordon Lovett was great as well. And Rachel Weisz? All I can say is WOW! Tom Hardy as Bane was perfect. The action was nonstop and it had you riveted from beginning to end. Loved the banter between Catwoman and Bruce Wayne/Batman. Very cute indeed. Perfect chemistry. I give the movie a 9.5. There was some weirdness in the sound during a fight scene that kind of made it lose 1/2 a star for me. Sorry. It was in the movie itself not the theater sound. Of course it may have been just my imagination. Would love to pick the brains of someone who saw it. Message me and I'll try to explain what I thought it was.
Chris Nolan always make a masterpiece, Christian Bale perfectly got the Bruce Wayne character, Tom Hardy cool n Anne Hathaway so gorgeous!
Christian Bale is wonderful; from the ageing Romeo+retired hero in the beginning, to the real Dark Knight back-in-action, he has done a very good job. Tom Hardy as Bane may have shown his face only once throughout the film, but the menace and personality in his voice is enough; though there are parts when you just can’t decipher what he’s saying. Anne Hathaway is slinky as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Michael Caine is moving in his portrayal of Alfred. Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman and Marion Cotillard are excellent as Commissioner Gordon, John Blake, Lucius Fox and Miranda Tate.
Just saw Dark Knight Rises and it *** Batman is not actually in it. It's about Superman with a shaggy beard and he's hitch hiking. And the Aquaman shows up and slaps him with a tuna. Anne Hathaway dies and Morgan Freeman becomes the new Catwoman.Just kidding. It is great. :) Best of the 3 in my opinion. The tension gets crazy and I love it. Thought it feels a little dragged out especially the ending. I understand that it's the last movie and they want it to last as long as possible but the movie points out the details so slowly so you can take it all in. Though there will never be a villain as good as Heath Ledger's Joker, but Tom Hardy's Bane is great. He's intelligent but terrifying. He's such a powerhouse that you feel scared for everybody else in the movie. And there's one scene where Bruce is speaking to a guy who shouldn't be able to give the information that he was giving, it's just the way that Bruce gets the info from him you think there's no way that info is true but it is. And a few of the j ...
He was a distant second to Heath Ledger in the Dark Knight, and both Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy were better than him in this one.
So for my next birthday I'd like a batcopter & also Anne Hathaway's cat suit..& Christian Bale,Tom Hardy&Joseph Gordon-Levit but that's all
So I saw the BATMAN Movie on Sunday, INCREDIBLE. YES I brought my GUN. LOL. JUST KIDDING. Most of the action scenes were filmed on Grand Avenue in DownTown Los Angeles. There is a scene where a truck crashed through a guard rail and drops down into lower Grand, (Grand Ave has two levels) I had my hand on the guard rail just the other day ! Same exact spot! PLUS I could see the building I work in through out most of the action scenes. Oddly enough, there was another Batman movie filmed on lower Grand Ave as well, Batman Forever. The movie was well done, Anne Hathaway is TOTALLY SMOKIN HOT, and nails her role as Catwoman. I will admit, I was in tears towards the end of the movie. Tom hardy as Bane you will end up hating. he did a great Job. He is no Heath Ledger, but certainly does a great job. For those of you who do not live in Los Angeles or have never been here. If and when you do get here, you get the feeling that you have been here before because of all the filming that has been done in the city off L ...
honestly what I liked most about " THE Dark Knight Rises " is the twist & the cast ! twist was brilliant and the cast was well picked and directed " Tom Hardy " , " Joseph Gordon-Levitt " & " Anne Hathaway" were probably some of my fav. performances thru out the film
Just got back from The Dark Knight Rises with Hailey. Nolan definitely redeemed himself. Not only was it wayayay better than the previous film, but it made The Dark Knight a significantly better film. Tom Hardy was (obviously) a million times better than Heath Ledger, though I didn't like Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle. All of that said, hated the ending.
Finally saw TDKR. Feeling very mixed on it, overall. There were just so many plot inconsistencies and holes. I was a little let down on Bane, especially given how much I like Tom Hardy. The "twist" at the end was so laughably obvious while simultaneously completely implausible. Still plenty to love. Score was great, whole thing looked amazing, the fight scenes were thrilling and I was pleasantly surprised by Anne Hathaway. All in all, B-.
Watched today Nolan's "Dark night raise" in imax . The experiance was awsome, well take movie but story was avg and Bruce Wayne role is pretty avg. Anne Hathaway role was awsome as selina. Tom hardy role as Bane is the real spetacular in the movie. His role and performance is best in movie. If u r a batman fan sure watch , but watch in imax only. For others i say u can wait for DVD for this movie. i give 2.5/5.
Life is complete."The Dark Knight Rises" was everything I hoped for...thank you Christopher Nolan! p.s. Not sure who I have a bigger crush on Tom Hardy or Anne Hathaway.just saying...
Home from Dark Knight Rises! Totally recommend it. It was utterly satisfying with some powerful performances from Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway. And yay Christian Bale for visiting Aurora! Going to enjoy the rest of the night in the afterglow of awesome movie-ness.
Blown away by "The Dark Knight Rises". That was never easy for "Christopher Nolan" to beat the standards he set with "The Dark Knight" well he did it again but this time with an approach you would never have seen on Big Screen. When all the super heroes movies are about the supreme heroism, Batman Movies are all about cruel and brutal villains pushing the hero beyond his limits, and these are the movies where hero is in supporting role and villains have the central stage. "Joker" is registered as a greatest villain of all time but here comes "Bane" terrific and terrifying all the times, a shock will run through your body every time he appears on screen, he is simply outstanding and certainly "Tom Hardy" again stole the show as he did in "Warriors" and he completely outdone "The Batman" character not "Christian Bale" as he did a superb job being Batman. Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine with Morgan Freeman were phenomenal and let me tell you a good amount of screen time was given to every character in this m ...
Just saw "The Dark Knight Rises", not quite as memorable as "The Dark Knight", but very good and a worthwhile end to the series. Anne Hathaway(in a highly sexy, spunky performance as Selina Kyle)and especially Joseph Gordon-Levitt(terrific as young officer John Blake)are the big standouts as are Christian Bale(as Bruce Wayne/Batman), Michael Caine(as Alfred Pennyworth), Morgan Freeman(as Lucius Fox)& even Tom Hardy(as Bane)
for sure, Anne Hathaway was MINT ! The end was god and omg Tom Hardy is HUGE :O
The Dark Knight Rises. Excellent finish to the trilogy. Michael Caine and Joseph Gordon-Levitt steal the show for me although Anne Hathaway's Catwoman and Tom Hardy's Bane are very good. Slightly long but will not disappoint fans of the series.
Just came home after seeing BATMAN and the movie is GREAT and the Catwomen and Banewas played to the max. Tom Hardy andAnn Anne Hathaway was great and the ending was the way to end. GREAT MOVIE!
The Dark Knight Rises was superb. Anne Hathaway did a great job as Catwoman. She reminded me a lot of the Julie Newmar version in the 60s. I'm probably one of the few people that understood every single word Tom Hardy said! Great callbacks to the previous films. Good, good stuff.
Just saw "The Dark Knight Rises". Awesome flick! I had never heard of Bane as a Batman villain before this movie. I'm old school, so I just know The Riddler, The Joker, Catwoman, and The Penguin. Apparently this Bane character is in the new "Batman" cartoons. Tom Hardy plays the *** out of Bane whoever he is, although halfway through the movie my man leans over and whispers, "Is that Patrick Stewart's voice?" *LOL* I hope Anne Hathaway got to keep her costume. In some scenes, she reminded me of Julie Newmar from the old 60's "Batman" series.
Is en route to drool over Tom Hardy, Steve can make do with Anne Hathaway...unlucky!
Honest opinion of The Dark Knight Rises: While not as good as The Dark Knight, this movie was a fitting end to the Batman trilogy. The movie has plenty of action and a good story to match. Christian Bale, as usual, plays a conflicted Bruce Wayne and my favorite Batman. Tom Hardy was terrifying as Bane, however, his voice threw me off at parts. The redubbing of his voice made it no easier to understand. Anne Hathaway was merely okay, she didn't add much to the film. The ballroom scene with Christian Bale was the highlight of her presence in the movie. I just saw her as the Princess Diaries meets Catwoman. Joseph Gordon Levitt, despite his questionable accent, played the "tough and noble" cop with a great level of finesse. The first half of the movie kept me wondering where the film was going (in a good way.) However, once a certain plot device is introduced, I felt slightly let down that Nolan decided to go that route to end a series. Despite the slight let down, I became invested in what was happening to ...
But overall, Tom Hardy's performance was stunning so do with Michael Caine, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and lovely Anne Hathaway :3
Anne Hathaway interview: "I talked with Christian Bale and Tom Hardy on 'The Dark Knight Rises' set"
Anne Hathaway was everything to the new Batman that Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal failed to be in the other movies. She really kills it, and Tom Hardy delivers a great performance through his character work around his masked face. Great writing too, story flowed beautifully and was always engaging. It wasn't perfect, but Dark Knight Rises: 5 stars from this guy.
Liked Dark Knight Rises just fine. A solid finish to the Nolan-directed Batman franchise. Oddly enough, I found Bale's performance the most "by-the-numbers" of the entire cast. Just about everyone else was stronger, despite a script that was pretty weak in places. Anne Hathaway was a pleasant surprise. Gary Oldman and Michael Caine have some really great moments. Joseph Gordon Levitt is always good. Tom Hardy is chilling as Bane (if we could just make out more than 50% of his dialogue). Good pacing, despite some odd edits. A credible blockbuster, but I found myself caring much more about the peripheral characters than about Bruce Wayne/Batman (and not wild about the cowl and cape on the Bat-suit either, but that's been true for the past couple films).
The Dark Knight Rises"-Amazing! A little slow start, but thankful that Gary Oldman took the first shot as Commissioner Gordon. The "goons" in the beginning were a little weak, as far as characterization goes in my opinion, but after Christian Bale takes over, all expectations were soon met. I will probably go see it again, as the entire cast was fantastic-including Anne Hathaway, who I was a little worried about. Tom Hardy's face is covered, as he plays "Bane," so there's little expression, and his voice is obnoxiously loud and somewhat indecipherable at times, as far as what he is saying, but maybe I'm a little slow. Still, I will see it again. Incredible action, story line, and locations including Pittsburgh, India, LA, London, New York and more...incredible shots! Watched at Arclight Cinema, here in LA. Great theatre to watch at!
I think that The Dark Knight Rises has a few Oscar possibilities. Anne Hathaway for sure should get a best supporting actress nomination, that's a given, considering she's been nominated before, and this has been her best performance yet. Also, Tom Hardy has a small chance--but a chance, nevertheless--to get a nomination. While his voice was altered, he did do a superior job acting with his eyes and his body. I mean, isn't that the same reason Jean Dujardin won Best Actor last year? The Academy Awards has never nominated an actor based on physical performance--and thus, it's a double-edged sword. But, I really do think that Bale could--and should--get nominated for Best Actor. I thought that with The Dark Knight, but that was just because I loved the movie so much; but, I believe* it in The Dark Knight Rises, because his character made me feel something--pity, fear, pride, redemption, and sorrow. No other superhero film has done that--not even The Dark Knight.
Performances by Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were great. Tom Hardy being Tom Hardy. The Nokia trailer does no justice to this film
Cillian Murphy needs his own Scarecrow movie. Anne Hathaway needs her own Catwoman movie. Tom Hardy plays a wonderful villain.
Every member of the cast, from Christian Bale to Tom Hardy, from Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Anne Hathaway deserve an award
The Dark Knight Rises - An epic movie to end the trilogy in style! Another masterpiece from Christopher Nolan! \m/ Screenplay : 100 on 10. Movie Rating : Doesn't even need a rating, the best movie ever! Came up to the expectations very well, with vile Bane, impersonated by Tom Hardy and Catwoman, impersonated by Anne Hathaway stealing the show from Alfred (Micheal Caine) & L.Fox (Morgan Freeman). The final twist about who the mysterious trigger-man was and the important things to remember in life, taught to the knight himself (Christian Bale- THE BATMAN) makes the movie INTENSE. Some say that the movie was not upto the mark of the Dark Knight, yes it was not upto that mark but was BETTER THAN ANY OTHER SUPERHERO MOVIE EVER MADE! The movie was complete, explaining every other tiny notion and brought the truth out from within the dark. ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER MADE BY MAN-KIND. A MUST WATCH MOVIE INDEED! XD
So, here is the scoop: Tom Hardy as Bane = Hot, his echoing voice was oddly extremely sexy. Anne Hathaway sucked as Catwoman as I suspected. Everything else was great about the movie. It is the end to the Batman trilogy. But Nolan is obviously going to start a Batman and Robin trilogy. The Penguin is going to be the first villain and that is when "Selina Kyle" finally becomes the Catwoman and betrays Batman and she gets her 9 lives. Blah blah blah.
The Dark Knight Rises was Epic I saw it twice both shows was pack it was amazing I was having Chills thought out the movie Tom Hardy did an awsome job playing bane and Anne Hathaway did a much better job playing catwoman both of them were Kicking *** in the movie.Christopher Nolan have did a amazing job wit all 3 films he made it more serious and more realistic I love the scores.I am going to see it 3 more times I cannot wait to get this on blu-ray!!! I will get movie A+++
Movie Critic Mike D'Angelo on Dark Knight Rises: "Nolan deserves credit for elevating our notion of what a mass-appeal superhero movie can be, and the first two films achieve a much stronger balance of the intimate and the epic. In hindsight, though, I can see how crucial Heath Ledger was to the success of "Dark Knight" -- his controlled lunacy counteracted the series' growing lugubriousness, whereas Tom Hardy's hulking, Vader-inflected work as Bane only accentuates it. There was a point early on when I thought Anne Hathaway might provide a much-needed dose of rude energy, but the playfulness of her initial meeting with Bruce Wayne quickly evaporates. I dunno, guys, I just found the whole thing less thought-provoking and entertaining than exhausting. Just me? You can flame me, but this is exactly how I felt about the movie.
I just saw Batman in IMAX and I have to say, this movie blew me away!=D I loved it! It was action-packed and the characters were awesome. By the third act I was on the edge of my seat with eyes glued on the screen! Bane was really cool and he was a beast, his voice took some time to get used to, but It was okay. Batsy was awesome, even though we didn't see nearly enough of him since Mr. Wayne's awesome performance took the driver's seat. Alfred,= Coolness, Lucius = Great black man with freckles lol, Gordon = Super. The cop, was cool too and so was Miranda Tate ;) Vair cool. Selina Kyle was Perfect!! Anne Hathaway did a brilliant job as woman in catsuit! She wasn't a catwoman per say, but she was amazing nevertheless. I think EVERYONE should watch this movie. And then watch it a second time! True, I feel Bane was nowhere as awesome as Joker was in philosophy and character, but Bane was still epic in terms of how dangerous he truly was. Tom Hardy did an epic job. So all you guys, GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!
My review for DKR: - Much more emphasis was put on Batman in this one, which is a very good thing; Christian Bale was a fantastic Bruce Wayne. Whoever takes the cowl in future movies has a tough act to follow. - Anne Hathaway did a great job of bringing the Catwoman character to life, Tom Hardy was menacing as Bane, and the supporting cast was on the mark as well. - Thanks to the IMAX cameras, the flim has some really beautiful shots, even when it's of things being destroyed. - The story... Very well done. What else could you expect from Chris Nolan? - The movie's inspiring in many ways. It went beyond being a great film and became great art. - The action scenes really have you cheering Batman on. - It just might be the most epic movie ever made. Out of ten stars, it gets an 8.5 from me. And one last note: It just might win "Best Picture."
I swear there are no spoliers here. Ok, so I still think the Dark Knight is my favorite of the trilogy, but the Dark Knight Rises was amazing nontheless. Everyone in the film gave a great performance, and my hat's off to Michael Caine for his portrayal of the best Alfred Pennyworth. I was moved by his scenes. Tom Hardy made a menacing Bane, although it was still a bit difficult to understand him. More points for him being particularly loquacious. Anne Hathaway made a better Selina Kyle/Catwoman in Nolan's universe than I thought, not bad at all. Go see the Dark Knight Rises! I'm up for multiple visits. I loved it!
Just saw the Dark Knight Rises. It was freaking amazing. Tom Hardy did a great job as Bane and Anne Hathaway added a lot to the story. If you don't plan on seeing it then I'm insisting that you do.
My sexual attraction to Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway could not be further more through the roof right now.
Performances were top notch. Tom Hardy is excellent as Bane and JGL is great as Blake. Anne Hathaway makes for a great Catwoman.
Dark Knight Rises was amazing! Tom hardy, Anne Hathaway, and Joseph Gordon Levitt are such good actors
Just got back from THE Dark Knight Rises - a complex, brooding and thoughtful conclusion to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy - also strangely poignant in light of the events in Colorado. This is not an easy popcorn superhero film, it requires a great deal of thought and attention - stellar performances all around, Michael Cain as Alfred is truly marvelous - and the villains? Tom Hardy is ruthless as Bane, while Anne Hathaway shine as Catwoman, plenty of action, too...not a film for young children, however. A marvelous conclusion to the series.
I forgot how horrifying Heath Ledgers was as The Joker. Oh, Anne Hathaway was surprisingly amazing as Catwoman, Tom Hardy was a badass as Bane and Chris Bale fixed his voice... kind of.
The Dark Knight Rises is a monumental piece of film making. The concluding chapter in Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy brings new meaning to the overused term "Epic". What Nolan achieved w/the groundbreaking "The Dark Knight" he manages to take to the next level with his finale. Which is not to say tdkr is necessarily a "better" movie just as its unfair to say tdk was "better" than Batman Begins. All 3 are different chapters in what ultimately is one massive, emotional, inspiring saga. With begins, nolan crafted a near perfect comic book film which elevated to a huge crime drama featuring comic book characters in tdk, tdkr while at times is very comic booky runs more like a war film that features the Batman universe. Christian Bale perhaps for the 1st time in any Batman flick steals the show from his villains with his most emotional, driven performance. The world is filled w/newcomers including Anne Hathaway who is sexy, vicious & intoxicating as the opportunistic Selina Kyle, JGL as officer john blake acts a ...
People are apparently saying that Christian Bale should go to visit the injured kids dressed as Batman... I think he should go as Bruce Wayne. And also Tom Hardy should go... And maybe Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine. Alfred seems like a very sympathetic man. But it would traumatize kids if he were to go as Batman.
Well batman was AWESOME but I'm afraid it wasn't quite as good as the 2nd one! Tom hardy and Anne Hathaway were cracking in it though!
Tom hardy, Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon Levitt, wow. You are unreal!
So I know I am a little bit late in posting this, but here goes for the Dark Knight Rises. I'd like to start by saying that I will never approve of Christian Bale as Batman, however the rest of the film was done exceptionally well. Although some character backgrounds were a little mixed up and there seems to be an extreme play on the emotional motivation of Bruce Wayne, the film certainly had a darker quality reminiscent of the true Dark Knight. As for the mysterious John Blake character I will give you nothing more or less than you got from the previews; he's a mystery until the end, one in which you will not be disappointed. Although I was slightly off-put by the casting of Anne Hathaway in the role of Catwoman, after seeing the film I have no objections. She played the role well, playing on her femininity and natural beauty without giving the aura of a hooker as a former Catwoman once did. Ask for the character of Bane, it was both well-written and well played. The British actor Tom Hardy was able to a ...
Woke up late after watching the Nolan Batman marathon in Anchorage, with the wife and kids. Was thinking about writing a brief review of Batman Rises, when I read the news this morning. That has put a blinker on my day, but I'm going to ignore it for now. Batman Rises was a good movie. Somebody was suggesting an Oscar nod, but I don't think it's really Oscar-worthy. Sorry. I loved the marathon, and it was really cool (probably the wrong term - this was not a room full of "cool" people) sitting in a room full of fan-boys and girls who weren't afraid to have opinions about the movie. The room had fun and all of us laughed fairly often. The movie is being fronted as terribly dark, and I suppose it is, as superhero flicks go, but it still had moments of humor. I was pleased to be sitting in a crowd where I wasn't the only laughing. My opin... Really solid actors. I thought Anne Hathaway's Catwoman rocked. Selina was what she was, no apologies, only hints of her back story, and I think cutting that ou ...
Nolan did his series well. I actually do like Tom Hardy's Bane a little better than Heath Ledger's Joker. (Yea, it's mostly cause of a character thing, but still.) Anne Hathaway was a great Catwoman. Although, I was a tiny bit disapointed by the ending. Still an excellent movie.
Wheew that's a 2hour&45min.treat! It wasnt as good as DK but it was a fitting ending to the trilogy...or just really missing Heath?! This one is as mind-boggling as the Dark Knight but the prolonged period add to the nuisance sense of kinda dragging narrative, but hence thanks to the thespic prowess of(Gary Oldman, Michael Caine,Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman,Tom Hardy)especially when Miranda Tate, played by the superlative Marion Cotillard entersthe scene...=)But still above them all, Christian made it clear that HE is still the rightful MAN for that black suit :-)YOU ARE STILL THE SUPER HERO OF MY LIFE...anyway UE Red Warriors VS. ADU Falcons at 2pm jan lang sa may SM MOA Arena bakuran ko na kaya ngayon pa lang,,,thanks for the tix TJ M.
My "Dark Knight Rises" Review : Now I know this will probably get me yelled at by certain Avengers fans but im going to say it: This movie was way better than The Avengers!!! Now that i gave you a minute to absorb the shock of my statement .. Allow me to explain... The Acting was just better .. Christian Bale was just amazing along with Michael Caine , Morgan F., Tom Hardy as "Baine" just gave you the creeps and feel sorry for him at the same time. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was just brilliant in this film as was Anne Hathaway... The Storyline was Better : This film takes you in and brings you into this dark cruel universe where good and evil are not so clear cut... But in the end it is saved by the good that suffers enough to change that universe. This was a great movie and I hope others will enjoy it also :)
The Dark Knight Rises was pretty much phenomenal. I can't say it trumped The Avengers in terms of fan appeal and just plain fun, but I can say that it was incredibly written and was an absolutely fitting conclusion to the Dark Knight saga. Tom Hardy was a prime option for Bane, and he doesn't disappoint in his performance. Anne Hathaway came out of left field for me with her very well done job as Catwoman (though, I'm sorry, Black Widow kicks twice as much *** as Catwoman). Michael Cain managed to stir my emotions more than anything else in the movie almost every time he was on screen. From plot, to fight choreography, to (nearly) every performance, the movie was really just superb. Check it out guys, it doesn't disappoint!
Nolan ... The king rocks with The Dark Knight Rises ... Unbelievable performances by Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Marion Cottilard, Morgan Freeman and of course the gorgeous Anne Hathaway ... Hats Off Mr. Nolan ... What a great finish to a great trilogy ... The film is a one of a kind batman movie where the character Bruce Wayne is brought out in such great force ... Top class ... Out of the world ... Need to see it in IMAX !
I know I posted a lack of interest in seeing "The Dark Knight Rises" but I am a devoted connesseieur (I know that's spelled incorrectly but keep in mind I'm typing this at 4:00 in the morning) pop culture I attended the midnight premiere. I'm afraid I didn't like it any better then prevvious "Batman" films. As with the other movies there are some things that are good: Despite be muzlled by mask covering his mouth, Tom Hardy makes a suitably menacing Bane and Anne Hathaway has sass as professional thief Selina Kyle (a.k.a. Catwoman although she's she never actually called that in the movie) and makes a sympathetic antiheroine. And I didn't find the overall tone to be as overpoweringly depressing as the previous films. But still director Christopher Nowlan (whose other work especially "Inception" I DO like) does NOT want to make a "fun" Batman movie. Now I realize Batman is a darker and more serious character then Superman or Spider-Man but his cinematic explotis can STILL be entertaining. But Nowlan consis ...
Uhm. If you think you have a good reason for not going to see The Dark Knight Rises, rethink your stance. Because I am just, blown away by that flick. Tom Hardy killed it as did Anne Hathaway, Christian Bale and Michael Caine. Marion Cotillard was spectacular but Tom Hardy just...NO WORDS. Go see this movie. You won't regret it.
I learned 4 things by seeing Bat Man tonight.. Anne Hathaway is quite possibly THE sexiest woman alive. Tom Hardy as Bane is my favorite villain of alll time. I'm actuallyy going to see a movie in theaters more than once. And I might have a new favorite movie..
Before I start my rant on how awesome the movie was, I need to say this.. Christopher Nolan, Thank you for an amazing and memorable trilogy to the comic book superhero known as Batman and you told the story better than anyone else could! Your fanbase known as The Nolanites couldnt be more proud of you! Ok so here it goes... THE Dark Knight Rises WAS FREAKIN INCREDIBLE! A MASTERPIECE TO SAY THE LEAST! Also it was the first comic book movie trilogy that was awesome the whole way through!!! Tom Hardy should get an Academy Award for his performance as Bane! Just sayin. Before, I forget, there is a teaser trailer at the beginning for Superman: Man of Steel and it is surely worth watching bc Henry Cavill is gonna show the world that this upcoming Superman movie is gonna be amazing! :) P.S Anne Hathaway rocked it out as Catwoman and seriously should get her own movie!
Anne Hathaway just joined Julia Stiles on my favorite actresses list, as well as Joseph Gordon Levitt joining Edward Norton and Tom Hardy
3 things: 1. Anne Hathaway, marry me 2. Tom Hardy is one big motha trucka 3. Go See it ! P.S. ITS GOT Morgan Freeman N Michael Caine !
'The Dark Knight Rises', Christopher Nolan brings his Batman trilogy to a close, with Christian Bale still good as Batman and Bruce Wayne. He's been out of action but a burglar (Anne Hathaway) gets him back in the game, just as villain Bane (Tom Hardy) comes to Gotham, bent on destorying it. Not as ...
Christian Bale is joined by co-stars Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Tom Hardy at the New York premiere of 'The Dark Knight Rises.' (July 17)
Looking forward to the new Dark Knight film especially seeing Tom Hardy get to be an outright villain. For those in Dallas be sure to catch it at the Texas Theatre which will have it in 35mm. Nolan is of course one of few filmmakers that will make me want to see a film in IMAX so will surely see it in that version as well!
Did David Letterman spoil the end of The Dark Knight Rises. Good thing Tom Hardy is in this movie or i'd be over it. Anne Hathaway? Ugh, puke. Candace Bailey filled the Cat Woman suit out better and she's WEIRD skinny.
don't like the characters...i love Tom Hardy & Anne Hathaway don't get me wrong! But I'm sure i'll end up liking the movie as usual
I know it's 2 weeks away, I have a feeling that Christian Bale and Tom Hardy won't let me down. But Anne Hathaway don't ruin it, this ain't 'The Devil Wears Prada' won't tell you how I know that.
The Dark Knight Rises - The Legend Ends Having taken the rap for DA Harvey Dent's crimes, Batman (Christian Bale) has been in exile for the past eight years. His alter-ego, Bruce Wayne, has yet to recover. At least Gotham City is finally at peace. But not for long - as Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) tells Wayne, there's a storm brewing. That storm brings the full destructive force of the masked, evil, Bane (Tom Hardy). Can Batman save Gotham once more? Kevin Leslie - I think you're right. This is the email tagline - "The Legend Ends". No
Sorry WB, Leonardo DiCaprio as The Riddler would of been awful. Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway will get the job done. Can't be any worse then Arnold as Mr. Freeze and Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face.

It’s part of a promotional tour, of course, for the third installment, The Dark Knight Rises, due in theaters July 20. After reading the latest on Dark Knight Rises it struck me how Anne Hathaway acknowledged and commended Michelle Pfeiffer's portrayal of Catwoman the way Heath Ledger did for Nicholson's Joker. And yet Tom Hardy is remarkably silent on Batman and Robin's treatment of Bane...
Christopher Nolan, Tom Hardy, and Anne Hathaway share new insight into the characters behind this final Batman adventure.
