Christie Brinkley (born February 2, 1954) is an American model and actress best known for her three consecutive appearances on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the late 1970s and early 1980s, for her long-running contract with CoverGirl, the longest ever of any model in history, and for her marriage to musician Billy Joel. /5
Just now watching Alexa Ray Joel singing on the Today Show. She's the only child of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. An ok singer and not a bad looking kid, its just that from the opening camera angle and the gown she was wearing I was brought to mind of the actress Carolyn Jones, who played Morticia Addams in the old TV show. Needless to say I was somewhat startled. However, she sang "Santa Baby", one of the most awful Christmas tunes I know. I feel she could have chosen something better, but that's just me. Yep, just grumpy old, bah-humbug me. I'm going to the Elder's lunch at the Madison building now. Rock on, Kiddies!

Without warning, Matt Lauer launched into her divorce from Peter Cook (who was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder during their court trial). Obviously being uneducated on this personality disorder, Matt then asked, "How can you two make this better, for the sake of your children?" The reality is that you can't make things better when you are dealing with these high-conflict individuals. Christie, full of class and grace, stated that she just "wanted peace." Christie then mentioned four little words that forever changed my life, "Google, divorcing a narcissist."

This week, Narcissistic Personality Disorder has been in the spotlight when Christie Brinkley said a handful of simple words on the Today Show, “Google: Divorcing a Narcissist”.
