I watched some of the Republican convention last night. I was very impressed with Senator Rob Portman, both for what he said and how he said it. I love watching the political conventions on television. Always have. I know who I am voting for so please don't try to change my mind. PLEASE. I just love the whole process. What these "tea party" types don't get is that cutting taxes for the rich, doesn't create more jobs, but it does shift the tax burden to them. You want jobs, then give tax breaks to the middle class; they will create the demand that will lead to more jobs. They also don't release that the poor represent less than 5% of the federal budget.
