Thomson Reuters Compliance Complete: “FATCA: Another nail in the coffin of banking secrecy” Another nail in the coffin of banking secrecy May 10 2013 Nathan Lynch, Compliance Complete The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is the “thin end of the wedge” in terms of governments’ attempts to break apart banking secrecy to bolster their revenue collection efforts, according to legal and compliance practitioners. Participants in a Thomson Reuters panel discussion said the United States was the first country with the global influence to be able to push through such a sweeping global tax initiative. The support of other countries, however, indicates that they will soon follow with their own FATCA-equivalent legislation in an attempt to increase their tax take at a time when budgets around the world are under unprecedented pressure. Deborah Annells, managing director of AzureTax, told the panel discussion that the real agenda behind FATCA is to make it extremely difficult for jurisdictions to c ...

India was dubbed as the fourth most dangerous place for women in the world according to a survey conducted by Thomson Reuters' Trustlaw Women in 2011. The country was placed after Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Pakistan, as cases like female foeticide, infanticide and human trafficking are still prevelant. The latest report by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) on 'Crimes Against Women' indicates that India is still unsafe for women. According to NCRB, a total of 2,28,650 incidents of crime against women, both under Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Special & Local Laws (SLL), were reported in the country in 2011 as compared to 2,13,585 incidences in 2010, thus recording an increase of 7.1% during the year 2011.

BUSTED - Bank Of America Is Spying On Private Citizens Anonymous reveals Bank of America secrets. CNET BusInsider Last week Par:AnoIA, a group linked to Anonymous, released 14 GB of data implicating Bank of America and others in a massive spying operation. The data dump reveals the bank employed security firms to spy on hackers, social activists and numerous other private citizens across the web. A statement issued Feb. 27 indicates the data contains detailed information about hundreds of thousands of executives at companies around the world, including Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, TEKSystems and BofA. The group says the data was not acquired during a hack but rather was retrieved from an unsecured server in Israel. The documents leaked by Anonymous include "intelligence" reports allegedly compiled by TEKSystems on "daily cyber threats" from around the world and Internet activity related to the Occupy Wall Street movement. The data dump comes three weeks after the Federal Reserve confirmed that one of its . ...

The most widespread margin squeeze in at least a decade is pushing some Singapore companies out of the city state as rising costs and slow growth sap profitability. A Reuters study of 268 listed Singapore companies showed that 57 percent reported a year-on-year drop in operating profit margin for the first three quarters of 2012. That was the biggest percentage for the nine-month period on record, according to Thomson Reuters data going back to 2002. Full-year data for 2012 was not yet available. A severe labor shortage is hobbling businesses in Singapore as the government tightens its immigration policies, while growth has been hard to come by as exports languish in a dull global economy. Across Southeast Asia, 54 percent of companies reported shrinking margins, equaling the percentage recorded in 2009, when the global economy had tipped into a recession following the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy. In all, Reuters examined the balance sheets of nearly 1,000 companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thail ...

The legendary investor Sir John Templeton (1912 – 2008) once said that bull markets are born on pessimism, grow on optimism and die on euphoria. I became very bullish on stock markets during the middle of last year at the height of the Eurozone crisis when many despaired and left stocks for the perceived safe havens of cash and bonds. I believe it was during this formative period that the next significant bull market in stocks began. Last year many CEOs became conditioned by the gloom and provided pessimistic guidance to the market. Last year on the 5th of November I warned that this would impact the December quarterlies reporting period, in the daily entitled ‘’A risk off day”. “It is worth noting that the overall earnings season has been positive, with Thomson Reuters data showing that through to Friday, of the 378 companies in the S&P500 that have reported earnings, 61.9 percent have beaten expectations, which is in line with the 62 percent quarterly average since 1994.The third quarter earni ...

Feb 12, 13 Coca-Cola net up 13% on higher case volume Coca-Cola Co.'s fourth-quarter earnings rose 13% as the soft-drink maker's case volume increased, while the impact of foreign exchange hurt its revenue growth. The world's largest beverage company has seen its results challenged by Americans reducing their soft-drink consumption, rising costs for raw materials and pockets of economic uncertainty, such as Europe and China. To better address the changing demands of its marketplace, Coca-Cola reorganized its operating structure around three major businesses: Coca-Cola International, Coca-Cola Americas and Bottling Investments Group, starting Jan. 1. Coca-Cola reported a profit of $1.87 billion, or 41 cents a share, up from $1.66 billion, or 36 cents, a year earlier. Revenue increased 3.8% to $11.46 billion, or rose 5% on a comparable currency basis. Worldwide unit case volume climbed 3%. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters had most recently forecast per-share earnings of 44 cents on revenue of $11.53 billi ...
A SOLID EARNINGS SEASON By Friday, nearly 70%of the firms in the S&P 500 had announced quarterly results – and so far, so good. Thomson Reuters data shows that 66% of these companies have beaten revenue projections, and nearly 70% have surpassed earnings forecasts compared to 65% over the previous four quarters. As it stands now, if the rest of the S&P’s components report quarterly results in line with estimates, Q4 earnings for S&P 500 companies will grow 5.2%. VMware to Cut 900 Jobs as Revenue Growth Slows VMware said it would cut about 900 jobs as its revenue growth slows this year, resetting expectations for investors accustomed to years of surging top-line expansion. The outlook came after the Palo Alto, Calif., software provider reported a 2.7% increase in fourth-quarter earnings, topping analysts' average expectations, with double-digit increases from services and product licenses. Orders from federal-government customers declined, however, as overall U.S. bookings fell short of executives' expectations. The company expects revenue this year between $5.23 billion and $5.35 billion, below the $5.42 billion estimate from analysts polled by Thomson Reuters. For the quarter, VMware sees revenue between $1.17 billion and $1.19 billion, short of analysts' $1.25 billion target. "Generally speaking, we saw weakness across the U.S. as a whole," Chief Operating Officer Carl Eschenbach said, adding the company would be "putting in place programs to drive additional t ...

Corporate Earnings Growth, Outlooks Modest Amid Cliff Q4 Profits Seen Up 2.8% More policy wrangling, weak economy will keep Q1 EPS, sales gains slim BY MARILYN ALVA INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY With the economy still sluggish and the jobless rate stuck at 7.8%, the S&P 500 is showing only modest gains in the fourth-quarter earnings season. Reports are in from nearly 30% of the companies in the index. S&P 500 earnings now are expected to rise 2.8% vs. Q4 2011, according to Thomson Reuters. 3,000 jobs go at Thomson Reuters Thomson Reuters has made 3,000 of its 50,000 employees redundant - including some editorial staff - according to the New York Observer. Barb Burg, a vice president at the financial news and wire service company, confirmed the lay-offs to Talking Biz News. Chris Roush, an academic at North Carolina university's journalism department, attributes the cutbacks to a combination of Wall Street's struggles and tough competition from Bloomberg. He is quoted as saying: "Thomson Reuters overall is still trying to determine what it is. They are still not fully integrated as a company." Among some of the high-profile leavers are reported to be Peter Bohan, editor of Reuters America Service, Brad Dorfman, the agency's US retail and consumer products company news editor, and Lee Aitken, who had been in charge of political coverage. One of America's greatest visionaries and seeker of truth has passed away. Rest in Peace sir. ~Marc * It is with great sadness that TLO announces the passing of Hank Asher, "the father of data fusion." Hank founded three innovative and highly successful companies: Database Technologies, Seisint, and TLO. In addition to revolutionizing how the private sector locates and researches individuals and businesses, his creations are widely used by U.S. Law Enforcement, Intelligence Agencies, Interpol, Scotland Yard, and the Royal Mounted Canadian Police. Hank was instrumental in helping law enforcement to identify additional terrorists after the 9/11 attacks. More than anything else, Hank Asher believed in helping others. He often referred to his philanthropic endeavors as a "paycheck for the soul." Hank's close friends, Jules Kroll, founder of the world's preeminent detective agency, Kroll, Inc., and Tom Glocer, former CEO of Thomson Reuters, fondly agree "Hank was incredibly talented. Big flows into U.S. stocks may be sign of things to come By Jed Horowitz and Jennifer Ablan NEW YORK (Reuters) - The biggest weekly inflow into U.S.-based equities mutual funds in more than 11 years could be a sign that stocks are coming back into favor for a broad swath of investors after lawmakers avoided the fiscal cliff, some top money managers said. "We are at an inflection point where, especially in the U.S., you'll start to see net inflows into equities," said Margaret Patel, senior portfolio manager at Wells Capital Management, which oversees $331 billion in assets. "The risk-taker will be rewarded this year." In the week ended Wednesday, investors in U.S.-based funds poured $7.53 billion into stock mutual funds while exchange-traded funds investing in equities gained $10.78 billion in new cash, according to data from Thomson Reuters' Lipper service. The inflow into U.S. stock mutual funds was the biggest since May 2001, and the $18.32 billion aggregate injection of money into equities funds was t ...

( AXP ) on Thursday announced several hundred million dollars of charges related to cost-cutting measures as it plans to eliminate 5,400 jobs in a move that will reduce its current headcount by 8.5%. The planned layoffs resulted in a $400 million restructuring charge in the fourth quarter, the New York-based credit- card company said in a surprise earnings announcement. It also said it would record $342 million in expenses related to its cardholder rewards program, and refund $153 million to cardholders related to past customer transactions. The moves resulted in a profit of $637 million, or 56 cents per share, in the fourth quarter. Excluding the charges, the company would have posted a profit of $1.2 billion, or $1.09 per share. People have called her Braveheart, Fearless and India's Daughter, among other things, and sent up a billion prayers for a speedy recovery. When the unidentified woman died in a Singapore hospital early on Saturday, the victim of a savage rape on a moving bus in the capital, Delhi, it was time again, many said, to ask: why does India treat its women so badly? Female foetuses are aborted and baby girls killed after birth, leading to an appallingly skewed sex ratio. Many of those who survive face discrimination, prejudice, violence and neglect all their lives, as single or married women. TrustLaw, a news service run by Thomson Reuters, has ranked India as the worst G20 country in which to be a woman. This in the country where the leader of the ruling party, the speaker of the lower house of parliament, at least three chief ministers, and a number of sports and business icons are women. It is also a country where a generation of newly empowered young women are going out to work in larger numbers than ever bef ...
General retail sales rose in December "despite early indications that the holiday season would be lackluster," the New York Times reported. For the month, sales at stores open at least a year increased 4.5% at the 17 retailers tracked by Thomson Reuters, exceeding the 3.3% gain analysts had predicted. The Wall Street Journal noted that retailers "didn't appear to have been helped by the longer time frame than in 2011 between Thanksgiving and Christmas, something that was seen in the fall as spurring greater sales." Nancy Liu of Kurt Salmon observed that "consumers had a set amount to spend. Just because they had more time didn't mean they spent more." "It was a very complicated month, with all sorts of events that threatened fragile expectations," said Barbara Kahn, marketing professor at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. "Online was a saving grace for some of the retailers as people shift in that direction."

U.S. fiscal deal could spell trouble for Asia's investment winners: Reuters A resolution to the U.S. fiscal cliff crisis, messy and protracted as it was, provided an immediate boost for financial markets but longer term could spell trouble for some Asian assets that are coming off a stellar 2012. Investors could start to shift some money out of overpriced or crowded Asian investments in favour of the United States on the view that the fiscal deal manages to avert a U.S. recession and so boosts the prospects for American stocks. A fall in U.S. equities as funds pulled out some money in the fourth quarter, in contrast to a rally in Asia as funds funnelled money into the region, suggest conditions are ripe for some reversal. "In the short term, U.S. risk premium will come down now that a deal has been struck and might trigger some reversal of flows from Asia back to the U.S.", said Hong Hao, chief equity strategist at Bank of Communication International Securities. Analysts do not expect a major reversal of ...

Save Our Sisters - Candlelight Vigil in memory of Damini. India it's time for change Mahatma Gandhi once said "The day a woman can walk freely on the roads of India, that day we can say India has achieved Independence." Unfortunately, in his eyes India is yet to achieve independence. Crime against women in India is rising; there were 24,000 reported cases of rape in 2011 with a 9.2% rise over the previous year. We know many of you have been angered and upset over the outrage that has spread across in India. We have teamed up with the Big Hug Foundation to hold a Candlelight Vigil called 'Save Our Sisters' for the Delhi Gang Rape victim and for women in India who are assaulted on a daily basis. We hope this opportunity will allow you to pay respect and make your voice heard. A A | Email Us | Print | Forward Article 0 inShare inShare0 Last-minute efforts to step back from the fiscal cliff ran into trouble on Tuesday as Republicans in the House of Representatives balked at a deal that would prevent Washington from pushing the world's biggest economy into a recession. House Republicans complained that a bill passed by the Senate in a late-night show of unity to prevent a budget crisis contained tax hikes for the wealthiest Americans but no spending cuts. Some conservatives sought to change the bill to add cuts. That would set up a high-stakes showdown between the two chambers and risk a stinging rebuke from financial markets that are due to open in Asia in a few hours. The Senate would refuse to accept any changes to the bill, a Senate aide said, and it appeared increa ...

As an advocate of brand loyalty and employee engagement strategies, i am recommending this article of Tom Hoffman to be read by fellow HR practitioners, line managers and other leaders in their respective organization. Further, let me highlight one of the most relevant pointers cited identifying crucial role of top management in their attempt toward successful employee engagement initiatives. "For an organization to become entangled or move beyond engaged or however you want to define it, senior leaders need to examine their own belief systems since they set the tone for an organization's culture." - Article on: Going Beyond Employee Engagement by Tom Hoffman | January 1, 2013 One of the biggest differences between companies that provide mediocre customer experiences and those that deliver exceptional experiences (and ultimately position themselves to achieve outstanding financial results) is the degree of engagement and connectedness that employees have with a company and its mission. SINGAPORE (Reuters) - The gang rape victim whose assault in New Delhi triggered nationwide protests died of her injuries on Saturday in a Singapore hospital , potentially threatening fresh protests in India where her case is a rallying point for women's rights. The 23-year-old medical student, severely beaten, raped and thrown out of a moving bus in New Delhi two weeks ago, had been flown to Singapore in a critical condition by the Indian government on Thursday for specialist treatment. "We are very sad to report that the patient passed away peacefully at 4:45 a.m. on Dec 29, 2012 (2045 GMT Friday). Her family and officials from the High Commission (embassy) of India were by her side," Mount Elizabeth Hospital Chief Executive Officer Kelvin Loh said in a statement. Most rapes and other sex crimes in India go unreported and offenders are rarely punished, women's rights activists say. But the brutality of the December 16 assault sparked public outrage and calls for better policing and harsher punishment for ...

Yo Yo Honey Singh: A vulgar obsession or our own creation? (WARNING: Post contains graphic language. Reader discretion is advised. Any opinions expressed here are those of the author, and not necessarily of Thomson Reuters ) The gang rape and death of a 23- year-old woman in New Delhi this month has sparked debates on many things from an Indian society centered on the well being of men to the tendency of Bollywood films to portray women largely as mothers or sex objects. Now, some of that criticism is sticking to Punjabi rap star Honey Singh. Singh, whom the Indian media have called a youth icon, is facing calls for a ban on his New Year’s Eve performance at a hotel in Gurgaon, the massive suburb southwest of Delhi – and as this blog post heads out the door, NDTV reports that the show indeed has been cancelled. Singh’s detractors say that some of his songs are misogynistic and promote a permissive and casual attitude to sexual assault. I happen to agree. Here’s a sample: Aja teri ch**t maroon Tere ...

"In her recent book Plutocrats, Chrystia Freeland (editor of Thomson Reuters Digital, and so the boss of this column – but even so, her book is worth citing) writes of a period in the U.S. recent history, from the 50s to the 70s, when divisions of wealth actually lessened. This is partly attributed to “the Detroit Agreement,” an accord signed in 1950 between the U.S. car companies and the auto workers’ union that traded industrial peace for high wages and health and other benefits."

Broken schools breed S.Africa's 'lost generation' Reuters 27 January 2012 "JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - The first blow to Martha Netshiozwe's future came when her parents died of AIDS. The second came when she ran out of money and had to drop out of a South African high school. Netshiozwe, 23, is a product of the first post-apartheid generation who entered a new and aspiring education system which aimed to heal the economic divisions created by the white-minority government. But like many, she left without the skills to qualify for anything other than manual labour. Despite pouring billions of dollars into education, the ruling African National Congress (ANC) has little to show for its money except for public primary schools regarded as among the worst in the world and millions of students destined for a life in the underclass. provoked protests and rare national debate about violence against women in India died from her injuries on Saturday, prompting promises of action from a government that has struggled to respond to public outrage. The unidentified 23-year-old medical student suffered a brain injury and massive internal damage in the attack on December 16 and died in hospital in Singapore where she had been taken for treatment. Protesters rallied peacefully in the capital New Delhi and other cities across India to keep the pressure on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's government to get tougher on crimes against women. That was in contrast to the pitched battles protesters fought with police last weekend. The six suspects held in connection with the attack on the student on a New Delhi bus were charged with murder following her death, police said. The maximum penalty for murder is death. Authorities, worried about the reaction to the news of her death, deployed thousands of policemen, closed 10 metro stations and banned vehicl ...

Private equity pours money into India primary healthcare: Reuters Private equity funds quadrupled their investment in India's primary healthcare, betting the sick and ailing will stop seeing family doctors in often cramped and dingy quarters and check into modern chains sprouting up across Asia's No.3 economy. Goldman Sachs Group Inc, Warburg Pincus LLC, Sequoia Capital and the Government of Singapore Investment Corp are among investors that pumped $520 million into India's basic healthcare industry this year, compared with $137 million in 2011, according to Thomson Reuters data. Some analysts predict investment will surpass $1 billion in 2013. Organised healthcare providers including Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd and Fortis Healthcare Ltd are betting that growing numbers of patients will be willing to pay two or three times more for better-equipped clinics - all under a model that can be replicated fast and offers investors the potential for quick returns. Leadership Book Recommendation - The Brain-Based Boss Hi, If you’ve got a spare 90 seconds, I’m on the ask for a quick and easy favour. Might be a big ask. Or not - your call. Depends how Christmassy you feel this early in December... My 2nd book ‘The Brain-Based Boss’ is available to order now and is officially launched on December 13th. All about employee engagement and motivation, the book is directly targeted at workplace leaders from first-time supervisors up to genuine top-of-the-heap leaders. It’s being published by Thomson Reuters who have significant business credibility internationally. Given its practical, humourous and accessible style, they want it out for Xmas as an executive ‘stocking-stuffer.’ They’re being very supportive and it’s getting a fair bit of media and industry interest but no one can care as much as I do, so I’m doing whatever I can do to create some buzz around the book without, hopefully, being too pushy. This is where your quick and easy favour kicks in.. ...

SANTA MONICA, Calif (Reuters) - Two leading U.S. economists expressed deep pessimism on Friday that politicians in Washington will be able to strike a deal to rein in America's soaring national debt. Sheila Bair, the former chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and Stephen Roach, a veteran economist at Yale University's School of Management, also said the Federal Reserve was creating another catastrophic financial bubble with attempts to stimulate the economy through its policy known as quantitative easing. The two were speaking at a conference on global risks sponsored by the Rand Corporation and Thomson Reuters, at Rand headquarters in Santa Monica, California. Bair, who stepped down as head of the FDIC in July 2011, said the Federal Reserve's policy of pumping money into the economy, combined with an unprecedented period of historically low interest rates, was creating "the mother of all bond bubbles." Bair said she believed the United States was heading for a financial crash on the sc ...

My interview with Thomson Reuters on the outcome of CPC 18th Congress, November, 18, 2013 Q1. What do you think the new leadership lineup says about the direction of political and economic reform in China? Would you characterise it as a conservative or a reform-minded leadership lineup? Words will be reform minded, deeds very cautious at least in economic and financial restructuring: too much resistance and too many vetoes will slow down change, real pressure for change exists only in more intellectual circles, normal people do not relaize yet what needs to be done in the economy. In this sense China is becoming more and more similar to countries with large voting basis even though people do not actually have the right to vote yet. Q2. Will changes be forced upon China by some kind of crisis like mass social unrest touched off by a specific issue or a crisis over the S China Sea for example? Possibly, CPC is more adaptive then pro-active, a crisis may actually help to spur change, it could be also a less ...
International news agencies on 15 November 2012 boycotted the high-profile Test series between India and England which began with its first test in Ahmedabad toprotest against the restrictions imposed by the BCCI on some photo agencies covering the tour. The major International agencies Thomson Reuters, Agence France-Presse and Associated Press decided to suspend reports from the tour as well as pictures. Also, as per the release issued by the News Media Coalition (NMC), the press Association, National Agency in the United Kingdom is not going to supply Photographs. The international news agencies are basically protesting against providing pictorial or text coverage of the tour. It is being seen that agencies distribute thousands of images aspart of their editorial coverage to the enjoyment of fans, the curiousand sponsors of teams, such as Nike and Sahara. The lock-out of photographic agencies by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would result in cricketfans worldwide having sight of far f ...

Major banks have announced some 160,000 job cuts since early last year and with more layoffs to come as the industry restructures, many will leave the shrinking sector for good as redundancies outpace new hires by roughly 2 to 1. A Reuters analysis of job cuts announced by 29 major banks showed the layoffs were much bigger in Europe than in Asia or the United States. That is a particular blow to Britain where the finance industry makes up roughly 10 percent of the economy. The tally of nearly 160,000 job cut plans, meanwhile, is likely to be a conservative estimate as smaller banks and brokers are also cutting staff or shutting up shop, and bigger banks have not always disclosed target numbers of layoffs. The tally also does not include reports of 6,000 job cuts to come at Commerzbank, for example, which the German group would not confirm last week. NBC Wal-Mart Profit Tops Estimates, But Revenue Disappoints Wal-Mart reported quarterly earnings on Thursday that exceeded analysts' estimates, but revenue fell short of the consensus. The retail giant's shares (WMT) dropped before the opening bell, following the news. (Click here to get real-time quotes for Wal-Mart.) The company earned $3.63 billion, or $1.08 per share, in the quarter ended Oct. 31. That compares with $3.33 billion, or 96 cents per share, in the year-earlier period. Revenue improved to $113.93 billion from $110.23 billion a year ago. Sales were negatively impacted by exchange-rate fluctuations, the company said. Without the currency impact, sales would have been $114.9 billion, the company said. Wall Street had expected Wal-Mart to report earnings excluding items of $1.07 a share on $114.96 billion in revenue, according to Thomson Reuters consensus estimates. U.S. same-store sales rose 1.5 percent, well shy of the 4.6 percent forecast by Thomson Reuters. Wal-Mart narrowed its full-year ...

"90% of the world's population is now covered by a mobile signal" -Stephen Rubley (Thomson Reuters)
Now that the elections are over I would like to propose a thought experiment for all my friends on both sides of the aisle. Part of the disconnect I see is that there is a reliance on various information silos or as they have come to be called "echo chambers". Take some time and pick a topic or article you feel passionate about and look for the reporting on it from at least three different major news sources and compare what and how they are reported. Certainly you can choose your usual poison of Fox, CNN, CBS, ABC, NPR or NBC, but make sure the other two are very different. Some suggestions might be the BBC, Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera (for mideast stories), the Financial Times, I think you get the idea and the list I have given is certainly not all inclusive. Now realize that they all believe that they are reporting accurately and truthfully. Realize also that the truth is probably somewhere in the middle of all of those positions. The talking heads on both sides make points and get follo ...

UOB Q3 net profit up 36%; beats expectations. Wednesday, 07 November 2012 18:00 United Overseas Bank, the smallest of Singapore’s three banking groups, posted an almost 36% rise in third-quarter net profit, helped by strong fee and commission income and trading gains. UOB earned $707 million in the three months ended in September, compared to $522 million a year earlier. The results beat the $652 million average estimate of five analysts polled by Thomson Reuters. The Singapore bank said net interest income in the third quarter grew 6.1% to $971 million from a year earlier even though interest rate margins were weak. Trading and investment income tripled to $173 million.

niftymoves 19.10.2012 Nifty Views - Nifty again VIX – volatility index is at 14.76. Again & again nifty is showing stiff resilience on the upper side, feel it, understand it, as far as nifty never cross 5750 decisively and not close above 5750 for two consecutive day’s, I will not bet on longs. Better stay cautious enjoy holidays for atleast longs, for bears its bit uncomfortable situation where they are not able to capitalize on the breakout on lower side and actually trapped in a situation where they stucked up. Still, wait & watch I think we might be in a decisive mode now and will see drama in next 2 to 3 trading sessions where nifty will definitely move either below 5600 or above 5750 decisively, I am actually on the bear side. Lets hope for the best. - aby nifty fifty investing life Today’s nifty range same expected is 5635 to 5750, and levels to watch are 5680 / 5754.
