Subject:: SNOPES EXPOSED AS SOROS FRONT There were many times I checked SNOPES before I sent out data, and started to find "SELECTIVE CONFIRMATIONS" . . . . now I know why! Today, You never know who OWNS who or what and the spin that may be applied to your inquiry! SNOPES EXPOSED. . . Snopes is heavily financed by George Soros, a big supporter of Obama! NOTE THIS ONE: ".. In our "Search for the Truth ", we searched for dockets pertaining to Elena Kagan's association and/or connection to Barack Obama, and we find, what I have suspected on many occasions. I went to Snopes to check this out and they said it was false and there were no such dockets so I 'Googled' the Supreme Court, typed in 'Obama-Kagan,' and guess what? Yep, you got it. Snopes lied.. Everyone of those dockets are there. Here's what I wrote Snopes: 'Referencing the article about Elena Kagan and Barak Obama dockets: The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed and the examples you gave are blatantly false .. ...

Civil rights advocates then submitted an emergency petition asking the Supreme Court to overturn the Fifth Circuit’s decision and put the new voter ID law on hold for the midterms. Early Saturday morning, the Court’s conservative majority denied the request. The result is that on November 4, Texas elections officials will accept a gun permit as proper identification, but not a college ID. An estimated 600,000 Texans will lack the documents required to cast their ballots, and a disproportionate number of them will be members of traditionally Democratic constituencies. Just as she did following the majority’s decision in McCutcheon v. FEC earlier this year, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg issued a passionate dissent, charging that the Fifth Circuit had applied bad law to the decision that her conservative colleagues upheld. (Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan joined her dissent.) Ginsburg argued that the decision “showed little respect for this Court’s established stay standards. ...
President Obama is greeting the Justices of the Supreme Court, incl. two he nominated -- Sonia Sotomayor & Elena Kagan
In a decision that drew an unusually fierce dissent from the three female justices, the Supreme Court sided Thursday with religiously affiliated nonprofit groups in a clash between religious freedom and women’s rights. The decision temporarily exempts a Christian college from part of the regulations that provide contraception coverage under the Affordable Care Act. The court’s order was brief, provisional and unsigned, but it drew a furious reaction from the three female members, Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan. The order, Justice Sotomayor wrote, was at odds with the 5-to-4 decision on Monday in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, which involved for-profit corporations. “Those who are bound by our decisions usually believe they can take us at our word,” Justice Sotomayor wrote. “Not so today.” The court’s action, she added, even “undermines confidence in this institution.”
Gopal Subramanium and Rohinton Nariman are top lawyers of the country __both were Solicitor Generals of India. now their names are being recommended by the SC collegium for elevation to SC. Hope they would make exceptionally good Judges as well. Among the sitting Judges of US SC, Chief Justice John Roberts before elevation (by former President George Bush Jr) had not occupied any judicial office and he is directly elevated from the bar as the Chief Justice of US Supreme Court. Justice Elena Kagan of US Supreme Court was Dean of Harvard Law School and then Solicitor General (appointed by President Obama) for a short period before being elevated as US SC Judge. she was also not a Judge before being appointed to the highest Court. Both Mr.Subramanium and Mr.R.F.Nariman are comparable to them. Hope they would make us proud. Indian Supreme Court has got wide jurisdiction and many of the specialized matters are directly taken up by SC (by way of statutory appeal from Tribunals/Specialized bodies) without t ...
But can we even trust the politically correct Supreme Court to uphold our Constitution? Chief Justice Roberts rewrote the justification for Obamacare and made it legal less than one week after the Supreme Court nullified Arizona's SB 1070, which mirrored the immigration laws our Federal Government has refused to enforce. Obama appointed two of his sycophants, Elena Kagan and Sonja Sotomayor, to the court to rubber stamp his unconstitutional legislation. Yes, he legislates, through the executive branch. The EPA, twenty changes to Obamacare, legalizing Illegal Aliens, etc. Thank you low-information voters! Oo rah! Go Dems!
People, like this man, discussed in an article which appears on Yahoo, today, still sit on the Supreme Court bench. Is there any wonder that there is a form of anarchy in Washington? Fortunately, John Paul Stevens no longer is on the Supreme Court bench, but others, equally disdainful of the Constitution, if not even more so, which is clearly the case with Supreme Court Justices, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer, who are now joined by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, are sitting as stalkers of he Constitution. This unmasking by Stevens is instructive, and prompts the question, "Who is on the Court, right now, who thinks along the same lines as this hypocrite?" I have a list of a few present Justices, for starters. Mike Huckabee is dead to me. I used to support him. I supported him against Romney and thought he got shafted by the establishment Republicans who wanted Romney and instead we ended up with McCan’t. That’s what playing games will get you. Huckabee’s time is over, done-with, gone. And now he has aligned himself with the establishment by endorsing Lindsey Graham. (if Rand Paul does not watch himself he will be on that list as well. He was extremely slow in supporting Ted Cruz and endorsed Mitch Mcconnell. REALLY Rand?) Why does Lindsey have to go? He wanted into a war with and supported arming Al-Qaeda/Muslim Brotherhood revolutionaries in Syria. He is a part of the ‘Gang of 8’ who is pushing for amnesty for illegals. He undercut the strategy to fund all of government except Obamacare. He supported confirmation of Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor. These are just a few reasons. Here is a list of Republican Candidates running against him: Senator Lee Bright ~ State Senator Rich ...

Let's review Lindsey Graham's hard right turn to get re-elected. In the past three weeks, Graham has vowed to block Obama's nominees until the Obama Administration produces the Benghazi witnesses. Too bad he didn't block Sonia Sotomayor or Elena Kagan; he actually voted to confirm both of ultra-liberal Supreme Court Justices. Graham has also pledged to lead the charge on an abortion ban after 20 weeks. Apparently, Graham thinks the abortion ban has a better chance of success than the defunding of Obamacare, even with Harry Reid still in charge. We now know that had Graham and the Senate Republican leadership gotten behind Ted Cruz, at least half a dozen Democrats who later switched their position in favor of delay might have sided with Senate Republicans on Obamacare. Finally, Lindsey Graham is now blocking the Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund, a fund set up to provide private enterprises in Egypt the start-up capital necessary to open their businesses and employ Egyptians desperate for stability after t ...

berita hari ini : Supreme Court Justices attend Mass before new term - KHOU Associated Press Posted on October 6, 2013 at 8:32 PM WASHINGTON (AP) — This year's Catholic Mass before the Supreme Court's new term has become an appeal to the other deadlocked branches of government. A majority of the court, including Chief Justice John Roberts, attended Sunday's Mass at St. Matthew's Cathedral in Washington, as did members of Congress and White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough. The four other Supreme Court Justices who attended were Clarence Thomas, Antonin Scalia, Stephen Breyer and Elena Kagan. Amid the government shutdown, Bishop Kevin Farrell criticized petty partisanship and polarizing rhetoric that he said makes it seem like "'I Did It My Way' has now become the national anthem." The visiting bishop of Dallas also urged government officials to remove obstacles to welcoming immigrants. Print Email | MORE MORE! "All nine current justices attended either Harvard University or Yale University, and Kagan — a former law dean at Harvard — said the court is too heavily dominated by lawyers from elite law schools and the coasts." "It's just one of those weird, fluky things," she said. Kagan said the court would have more credibility if it "looked more like the country." The individual Health Insurance mandate is constitutional, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday, upholding the central provision of President Barack Obama's signature Affordable Care Act. The 5-4 majority opinion, written by Chief Justice John Roberts, upheld the mandate as a tax, although concluded it was not valid as an exercise of Congress' commerce clause power. Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan joined in the majority.
*** travels to D.C. this weekend to interview a sitting and a former Supreme Court Justice for his Thurgood Marshall film. On Tuesday, Oct 1, he'll interview Justice Elena Kagan & Justice John Paul Stevens in the Supreme Court building.
Elena Kagan was nominated by President Obama, appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2010, and allotted to the 7th District (Chicago).
Opinions issued today by the Supreme Court. There are many young people in the public gallery today, and the bar section is fuller than it has been in recent sessions. At about 9:45 a.m., a mini-meeting of the Solicitors General Society takes place in the center aisle as the current SG, Donald Verrilli, greets Ted Olson. Nearby is Neal Katyal, who was Acting Solicitor General after Elena Kagan joined the court. Retired Justice Sandra Day O’Connor enters the VIP seats. Her fellow retiree John Paul Stevens, who was present yesterday, will not show up today. The court’s third living retiree, David H. Souter, is rarely seen in Washington anymore, and certainly not on ninety-degree summer days, though he continues to serve as a guest judge from time to time on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, in Boston. (Justice O’Connor also serves, on federal appeals courts all over the country.) Sitting down next to Justice O’Connor is Christine L. Fallon, the Court’s Reporter of Decisions. This is ...
There are two things happening here. The July 8th "Cliff" date is the "final extension" that Judge Posner of the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals said he will give. On that day, the current laws prohibiting concealed carry are invalidated. That is 180 days plus 30 days since they issued their ruling that it was unconstitutional not to have a provision for concealed carry. Now, when that ruling was originally handed down, the State of Illinois (through Lisa Madigan, its Attorney General) had until May 23 to appeal that ruling to the Supreme Court. Not wanting to commit on the issue, Lisa asked for an extension and it was granted by the Supreme Court Justice that handles our area for appeals - Justice Elena Kagan. Since her 30 day extension to make up her mind whether to appeal to the Supreme Court is almost up with the Governor not acting, she asked for another 30 days, which Elena Kagan has granted. Lisa wants Governor Quinn to take the heat off of her having to appeal this decision, so she is trying to buy t ...
I hope you are ready for biographies on our two newest Supreme Court Justices that were nominated by President Obama in Sonia Maria Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. Sonia Sotomayor was born June 25, 1954 and South Bronx, New York. She is the first latina women to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court. She is presently 1 of 4 female justices. Sotomayor attended Princeton University. NYU, Columbia Law School and Yale Law School. She graduated Yale with a J.D. in 1979 and passed the BAR exam in 1980. George H.W. Bush nominated her for District Court in 1992. She was nominated to the Second Circuit Court by Bill Clinton in 1998 and Barack Obama nominated Sotomayor to the highest bench in May 2009. Sotomayor has a net worth of 800,000 dollars. Before her appointment to the court she had one case (Ricci v. Destefano) go before the High Court which was reversed by a 5-4 vote against Sotomayor. Elena Kagan was born April 28, 1960 and raised in N.Y. This jewish american girl obtained a bachelors degree in history from Princeton ...
THIS IS WHAT I CALL A Supreme Court Justice: Antonin Scalia, for various reasons, is not the left’s favorite Supreme Court Justice. But in a spate of rulings in this term, Scalia has come down on the same side as some of the more liberal justices on the Court — those cases related to Fourth Amendment issues, particularly involving warrantless searches conducted using advanced technological methods. The most recent example of this is the 5-4 decision that came down on Monday, in which the Court upheld a Maryland law allowing police officers to take DNA samples of arrestees without a warrant, for the purposes of investigating crimes unrelated to the arrest. Scalia dissented with an opinion joined by Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. “Today’s judgment will, to be sure, have the beneficial effect of solving more crimes,” Scalia wrote in his dissent. “Then again, so would the taking of DNA samples from anyone who flies on an airplane (surely the Transportation Security ...

Supreme Court fun facts are my favorite fun facts. Case in point: Elena Kagan and Antonin Scalia enjoy going antelope hunting together.
Sri Srinivasan, works in the office Elena Kagan used to work in MT the next Supreme Court Justice:
WM As has become glaringly obvious, the America-Destroyer-in-Chief has ramped up his attacks exponentially since he got away with the massive voter fraud that gave him the election. He's continued his policy of nominating far-left, incompetent crooks and extremists to important positions of power, a policy that couldn't work without the complicity and connivance of the Republican Establishment. And that is just for starters. The tactic of nominating America-hating radicals has resulted in Sonia Sotomayor, a racist, radical feminist and Elena Kagan, a probable *** radical feminist and political hack as justices of the Supreme Court, avowed communist Van Jones as "Green Jobs Czar," radical wackos Cass Sunstein and John Holdren and dozens of other "Czars" – a total of 45 of 'em – sticking their noses and greedy leftist fingers into the people's business, and getting paid $158,000 per year and up of the taxpayers money to do it. The Republican Establishment has done nothing to rid us of these unconst ...

Two out of Nine Judges on Supreme Court -worked for Monsanto. Elena Kagan and Clarence Thomas.
Some action that is unconstitutional has much to recommend it" -- Elena Kagan, nominated to SCOTUS by Obama - I mean, come on. What the *** is wrong with our Supreme Court! The Supreme Court of the United States is now and always has been a judicial abomination. Its guiding principles have always been political rather than judicial. It is not as political as Stalin's courts but its respect for the constitution is little better. Some recent abuses: The "equal treatment" provision of the 14th amendment was specifically written to outlaw racial discrimination yet the court has allowed various forms of "affirmative action" for decades -- when all such policies should have been completely stuck down immediately. The 2nd. amendment says that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed yet gun control laws infringe it in every State in the union. The 1st amendment provides that speech shall be freely exercised yet the court has upheld various restrictions on the financing and display of political advertising. ...
Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia ( two days ago)... Conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, decrying America’s demonization of guns, is predicting that the parade of new gun control laws, cheered on by President Obama, will hit the Supreme Court soon, possibly settling for ever the types of weapons that can be owned. Scalia, whose legacy decision in the 2008 case of District of Columbia vs. Heller ended gun control in Washington, D.C., suggested that the Constitution allows limits on what Americans can own, but the only example he offered was a shoulder-launched rocket that would bring down jets. And the wily judge suggested to an audience of Smithsonian Associates at George Washington University’s Lisner Auditorium Tuesday night that he is not just preparing for a new gun control challenge, but that he’s softening up one of his liberal colleague on guns. The long-time duck hunter revealed that he’s taken Obama appointee Elena Kagan hunting several times, the last being for big game in Wyoming wh ...
I was delighted to watch President Obama's State of the Union speech last night. I hope that the Congress will respond by adopting the programs that he laid out before them. I loved seeing Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan attending the speech. His appointment of those two women was magnificent. I hope that the Supreme Court appointments that he gets to make during the remainder of his term will include replacements for Justices Scalia and Thomas. (I'd include Justice Alito in my list of replaceables but he is comparatively young and will probably be on the court for a long time to come.)
Out of the serving 9 members of US Supreme Court, 6 are Catholics while the remaining 3 are Jewish. I am younger of all of them. The closest to my age is a Jewish Elena Kagan, a New Yorker who was born in 1960 and became an Associate Justice in 2010. The Chief Justice, John G. Roberts was born in 1955 a Roman Catholic and became the Chief Justice in 2005. 4 of them are born in New York, 2 in California, 2 in New Jersey and 1 from the state of Ga, but they are not all living in their states of birth. The oldest of them all, Ruth Barder Ginsburg, was born in 1933 and the youngest – Elena Kagan – as we said earlier in 1960 with others' ages fairly distributed between 1933 and 1960. One beautiful thing is that USA is a nation based on institutions of democracy and run by laws. The founding fathers of America had a clear vision of the state they wanted and enunciated a constitution that has guaranteed that vision. If after several centuries of the birth of that nation, the constitution still remains an art ...
With the federal appeals court decision on President Obama's NLRB recess appointments headed to the Supreme Court, one justice would need to recuse herself: Elena Kagan. This isn't our idea; the Associate Justice herself recommended that she recuse herself from any cases in which she was involved and filed briefs. Turns out that's quite a few when it comes to the NLRB.
Tea Party on Safari The Hunt for American RINO Clarion Review After the 2012 US election, Al Cardenas, the head of the American Conservative Union, was quoted as saying, “Our party needs a lot of work to do if we expect to be competitive in the near future.” This sentiment has been bubbling below the surface of conservative politics for a while. Voters are tired of supporting politicians who promise conservative action during elections but then fail to follow through after they win. Greg Fettig is one of these disgruntled voters, and he shares his views in his new book, Tea Party on Safari: The Hunt for the American RINO. Fettig’s tale begins when six-term Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana announces that he plans to vote to confirm liberal nominee Elena Kagan to be a Supreme Court Justice. Frustrated, Fettig and fellow Tea Party compatriot Monica Boyer decide that enough is enough. In their eyes, Luger’s actions show that he is a RINO, a Republican in name only. They begin a campaign to ask Luger t ...
VerminWatch Report Monsanto lobbying funds, in 2010 alone topped $8 million. The article below from Natural News points out that the current administration is "littered" with ex-Monsanto executives, and that the company spends millions of dollars every year lobbying the U.S. government to further its own agenda. and "Obama's nomination of Elena Kagan to the U.S. Supreme Court was also another victory for Monsanto, as Kagan defended Monsanto's "right" to contaminate the environment with GM alfalfa in the case of Monsanto v. Geertson Seed."
To set the record straight everyone. You weren't there at the inauguration to see thousands stand by the National Mall, with flags in hand, watching the huge televisions that were set up showing the congress, senate and Supreme Court Justices walking out in support of our president and Vice President. We all went crazy when we saw Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Joe Biden, Dr. Jill Biden,
Mazel Tov on your 2nd inauguration President Obama, Barak Obama will certainly be remembered for successfully nominating Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court, making the High Court the most Jewish in American History, with three Jewish justices. He has also surrounded himself with perhaps the largest inner-circle of close Jewish advisors, including David Axelrod, former Senior Advisor to the President, Rahm Emanuel as former Chief of Staff and now Sabbath observant Jack Lew as the President’s new Chief of Staff. Although catching serious flack from various segments of the American Jewish community regarding statements he has made regarding the Israel-Palestine peace process, it can be argued that no American President has done more for Israel’s security, from the toughest Iran sanctions legislation in history to thwart their nascent nuclear weapons program, to directing funds for innovative Israel defense systems, including Iron Dome, designed to shoot down new Iranian-backed short rang ...
doesn't understand the notion that President Obama doesn't work for women. The first bill he signed into law was the Lilly Ledbetter Act. He went to the mattresses to guarantee women access to birth control. He appointed Hillary Clinton, Kathleen Sebelius, Hilda Solis and Janet Napolitano to cabinet positions. He wanted to nominate Susan Rice, but she was destroyed by the elephants. His two Supreme Court nominees? Despite not having peeked under the robes of Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor, one is inclined to believe they're both ladies. What sort of disconnection with reality does one need to make to assert President Obama doesn't care about women and doesn't want women to advance in government?
I'm not even gonna gloat but this re-election effort began in 2009 with the Auto bailout and I realized Obama's ploy to pander to the mid- west. He continued the effort months later when he installed Sotomayor- a Hispanic, and of course a woman- to the Supreme Court. Student loan reform was log-rolled into Obamacare and Elena Kagan became another Justice. The vital coalition that re-elected Obama were brought on board early-on: Women, Youth, Minorities and most importantly Ohio. The remaining two years were 'just sidon dey look' as Mitt Romney 'self-deported' himself away from the White House with the help of the Tea Party. He had to climb a very high border fence built for him by Jan Brewer and Herman Cain. I love American politics, if you do the right things against all odds you'll be rewarded. In Obama's case, hugely!
ROMNEY RYAN 2012. This will be my final pre-election post. I am supporting Mitt Romney. Prominent Christians including Joel Beeke and Wayne Grudem are too. In 2008, Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano vetoed a bill to ban partial-birth abortion - the seventh piece of pro-life legislation she vetoed. She vetoed every single pro-life bill she met. Who did Napolitano defeat to succeed as governor? Matt Salmon - a Mormon. "I believe marriage should be preserved as an institution for one man and one woman." - Mitt Romney "I think same-sex couples should be able to get married” - Barack Obama "I support the reversal of Roe v. Wade" - Mitt Romney "Roe vs. Wade protects a woman’s health and reproductive freedom" - Barack Obama "I will appoint conservative, strict constructionists to the judiciary." - Mitt Romeny. Obama appointed the pro-infanticide Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor. Five out of the nine current Supreme Court Justices have been serving for 18-26 years, and there is expected to be 2-3 appointments ...
Top 10 Reasons For Pro-Lifers to Vote for Mitt Romney Here are ten reasons why pro-life voters should vote for Mitt Romney for president. 1. Roe v. Wade: Because a federal Human Life Amendment to the Constitution is an extraordinarily difficult long-term prospect, overturning Roe v. Wade is the only real method of achieving legal protection for unborn children any time soon. When it comes to Roe v. Wade, Obama has repeatedly voiced his support for the infamous abortion decision while Romney has repeatedly said he wants it overturned. 2. Supreme Court: To overturn Roe v. Wade, we need more Supreme Court Justices in the mold of Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas, both of whom have publicly made clear their desire to overturn the decision. President Obama named pro-abortion radicals Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor to the High Court in his effort to keep abortions legal another 40 years. On the other hand, Romney assembled a team of pro-life, conservative legal heavyweights to advise him on legal matters — ...
THE BUTCHERING OF OUR CONSTITUTION BY FREEDOM STEALING JUSTICES LIKE ELENA KAGAN...HOW DUMB IS SHE! High Court Holds "Dog Fight" Over Fourth Amendment. There may have been more talk about dogs at the U.S. Supreme Court than at the American Kennel Club Wednesday, as the justices heard arguments in two cases involving the state of Florida and drug-sniffing police dogs. Each dealt with the question of whether the use of drug-detecting canines to obtain probable cause for a subsequent search is itself an unreasonable search and a violation of the Fourth Amendment. Attorney Gregory Garre, representing the state of Florida in both cases, argued it is not. Justice Elena Kagan asking Jardines' attorney, Howard Blumberg, if the size and breed would matter. Suppose, she said, "the dog is not a scary-looking dog, the dog is a Cockapoo. So just like, you know, your neighbor with his Cockapoo walks up to your door all the time, that's what this police officer has done." "Well, whether it's a Cockapoo or Fran ...

Top Ten Reasons I voted for President Obama in 2012: 10. Since July, the economy has created an average of 173,000 jobs a month, up from 67,000 a month from April through June. (Going in the right direction) 9. The Affordable Care Act reigned in the worst abuses of the Health Insurance companies and put us on a path that will save billions in health care costs in the coming years. 8. The Lilly Ledbetter Act allows for fair redress if women did not receive equal pay for equal work. It was his first law signed. 7. The President removed our troops from Iraq as promised. President Obama refocused our military on Afghanistan and our C.I.A. and F.B.I. on the prevention of terrorism. 6. The Commander in chief ordered the politically risky (remember Pres. Carter) attack on the compound that had a 50/50 chance of having Ben Laden living there. 5. President Obama place two smart women on the Supreme Court: Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. 4. The President promoted legislation that closed the “donut hole” on ...
Don't forget what President Obama has done. President Obama appointed 2 women to serve on the Supreme Court. So, for the first time in American History, there are 3 women serving on the Supreme Court. In 2009, he appointed Sonia Sotomayor and in 2010, he appointed Elena Kagan. (Note: Ruth Badar Ginsburg was appointed by President Clinton in 1993) there's more to come...
Of the nine currently-serving Justices on the Supreme Court, Ronald Reagan appointed 2, George H W Bush appointed 1, Bill Clinton appointed 2, George W Bush appointed 2, and Barack Obama appointed 2. Only two current Justices were affirmed without dissenting votes in the Senate--they were appointed by Reagan. Our Justice selection process has gotten so politicized that we may NEVER have uncontested Justices again. Ruth Bader Ginsberg is 79 (and in poor health). Antonin Scalia is 76. Anthony Kennedy is 76. Stephen Breyer is 74. Clarence Thomas is 64. Samuel Alito is 61. Sonia Sotomayor is 58. John Roberts is 57. Elena Kagan is 52. Yesterday, I mentioned that the President will appoint 2 Justices in the next four years...It will probably be 4! VOTE Wisely! We need adults in these positions, not legislators.
Scott Brown (R-MA) Voted “No” to confirm Elena Kagan to the US Supreme Court
The commander in chief of lying to the public needs to be dragged up on criminal charges of aiding and abetting the enemies of the US. Oh wait, Eric Holder the AG of the US is his best friend and confidante and Elena Kagan on the Supreme Court owes him some payola for her job. Well, back to the drawing board. How long is it going to take for these dumb American voters to come to their sanity and toss out these dirtbags?!?!? Now would you like to know what I really think?
Did you know that Elena Kagan once filed a brief for 2 Live Crew? No? Well watch and see as our newest nominee for the Supreme Court of the United States has...
"President Obama nominated the former pro-biotech governor of Iowa, Tom Vilsack, as USDA Secretary; he nominated Michael Taylor, former Monsanto Vice President, as the FDA Deputy Commissioner for Foods; and he nominated Solicitor General Elena Kagan, who took Monsanto's side against organic farmers in the Roundup Ready alfalfa case, to the Supreme Court."
"It is a great day for America's Supreme Court. President Obama just nominated Elena Kagan to be the next Supreme Court Justice. He went against the advice of Joe Biden. Biden wanted Iron Man."
1. Increased Taxpayer Funding for Planned Parenthood. On President Obama's watch, the nation's abortion mega-provider received more than $1.34 million of your tax dollars every single day. Get ready to open your wallet to Planned Parenthood to pay an even greater abortion tax if they are re-elected. 2. Appoint 3 New Pro-Abortion Judges to the Supreme Court. This one speaks for itself. President Obama has already handed out lifetime tenure to the two most virulent, pro-abortion activist judges ever: Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. Get ready for three more abortion advocates imposing anti-life laws from the highest Court in the land. 3. Even More Abortion Access. Thanks to the Obama-Planned Parenthood Administration and their signature achievement - Obamacare - they have created the greatest expansion of abortion since Roe v. Wade. Planned Parenthood's abortion clinic waiting rooms could now overflow in the wake of this life-ending law, while taxpayer dollars will fund an ever-increasing share of Planned P ...
In yesterday’s Senate debate in Massachusetts, supposedly “moderate” Republican Sen. Scott Brown said his model Supreme Court Justice is Antonin Scalia! Elizabeth Warren said hers was Elena Kagan. This is what Supreme Court expert Jeffrey Toobin had to say on those choices: “There is a huge difference between those justices ... that is the difference between Roe v. Wade being overturned or being upheld; it is the difference between Citizens United being upheld or being struck down.” Remember that when you go to the polls and pick your choices for Congress.
Elizabeth Warren can run an ad of Brown praising Scalia, Price is Right fail buzzer, Scalia's quotes, and Brown voting against Elena Kagan. She can weave a big picture theme of Supreme Court in Obama's hands and she will vote for judges good for MA.
Scalia? really Scott? "Brown then said that Scalia was his "model" Supreme Court Justice, and the crowd roared. He tried to recover a bit by mentioning four other justices of wildly different ideologies. Warren said her model was Elena Kagan, former dean of Harvard Law."
Elizabeth Warren's favorite Supreme Court Justice is Elena Kagan? Vomit time...

Remember in Republican Scott Brown voted against the nomination of MA's own Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court .
National Public Radio (NPR) is a publicly created and funded network whose programs are heard by 20 million listeners each week via 750 stations. NPR routinely violates the “objectivity and balance” rule of the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 which created it. NPR is a radio landscape crowded with liberal and leftist voices but nearly devoid of conservative hosts and anchors. In one of its most infamous moves, NPR in May 1994 announced its plan to air prison-life commentaries by convicted cop-killer (and former Black Panther) Mumia Abu-Jamal, a cause celebre of the academic left. Public outcry prompted cancellation of Abu-Jamal's program. In 2010, Nina Totenberg, reporting on Barack Obama's nomination of Elena Kagan for the Supreme Court, described Kagan "as a modern-day Superman." In November 2009, the NPR website featured an animated video disparaging the Tea Party movement by teaching readers how "to speak Tea Bag." NPR's bias is not confined solely to American domestic affairs. According to the C ...
Barack Obama is militantly pro-abortion. His first act as president was to ensure our tax dollars funded abortion in other countries (look up the Mexico City Policy). He nominated a Supreme Court Justice who forged medical testimony in the case against the partial birth abortion ban (Elena Kagan). He voted 4 times over the course of 3 years to kill infants born alive after an abortion, arguing that to do anything else would "weaken" Roe v. Wade. Abortion is an intrinsic evil. No Catholic can support an intrinsic evil and remain faithful.
No mention of the unqualified law student who was admitted to Harvard Law and made editor of the law review despite having no qualifications or particular ability. No mention of the Dean of Harvard Law who removed the Constitutinal Law requirement from the cirriculum. Could it be that the NYT doesn't want to remind anyone of Barack Obama and Elena Kagan's years at Harvard and their contribution to the culture of corruptuion that stalks the halls of a once great institution. Gee not unlike the damage they have done to the Presidency and the Supreme Court.
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan visits the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Well, while I can't say I was overwhelmed by President Obama's speech last night, he didn't blow me away the way Clinton did, he did clearly articulate his positions and remind us of the good he's done in the last four years...heck I'd vote for him again if only to get more great Supreme Court judges like Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan! We needed some liberal women on the court!
August 7th, 2010: Elena Kagan became the fourth female Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.
Three Reasons For Voting Against Obama Posted by Blaine A Dunning on August 21, 2012 at 10:58am They do have differences between them I would agree with many about Romney being Obama lite when it comes to big government and the role of government. Clearly there is some differences between the two that have big impacts on what happens to the country moving forward. There certainly are more reasons but here are three reasons you could choose not to vote for Obama. I will start with the Supreme Court, When you consider the two justices that Obama appointed in the first term that more bad choices will follow. Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan are clear liberals whose view of the Constitution, it's meaning and it's interpretation. You have four justices in their 70's and Obama could be appointing one or two in another term. We could be stuck with a liberal/progressive leaning court for a very long time if Obama could get one or more passed the Senate. The difference between who Romney would select and Obama woul ...
Remember when Scott Brown introduced Elena Kagan (from MA) to the Senate, then voted against her nomination to the Supreme Court?
The race & the Supreme Court: Scott Brown will vote for the nominee Mitch Mcconnell tells him to. Like he did against Elena Kagan.
Scott Brown opposed the nomination of Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court. She was from Massachusetts. He voted with Mitch Mcconnell.
In a disturbing revelation for a Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan took millions of dollars from the Saudis as dean of Harvard Law School and a chunk of it reportedly came from 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden.
'This is bad for the legal system,' Kennedy said. 'It makes the judiciary look politicized when it is not, and it has to stop.' Kennedy, who was nominated to the Supreme Court by President Ronald Reagan, isn't the first justice to criticize the current system. Chief Justice John Roberts said in 2009 that courts as a whole are very concerned about politics and partisanship seeping into the judicial branch. Elena Kagan, well before she became a justice in 2010, said in a 1995 book review that Senate lawmakers had failed to engage nominees in meaningful discussions about Constitutional Law. Kennedy says it's appropriate for the Senate to act politically, and for the political branch of government to have authority over lifetime appointments. 'On the other hand, there is a difference in a political function and a partisan function, and the current climate is one in which highly qualified eminent practitioners of the law simply do not want to subject themselves to this process,' Kennedy said. Kennedy spoke Mon ...

I would also accept the numbers of Elena Kagan or Sonia Sotomayor. Basically any sufficiently sassy Supreme Court Justice will do.
Is President Obama going to manage to get Elena Kagan confirmed to the Supreme Court without addressing her sexuality? Well, not if Andrew Sullivan has anything to do with it. Sullivan attacked Kagan's sexuality, or the lack of public mention of it, in a series of posts yesterday, with a ferocity th...
President Obama nominated Elena Kagan for the U.S. Supreme Court as a reward for getting nine eligibilty challenges dismissed?
Here is new legal twist Obamacare is really not constitutional (tax or no tax). Kagan should have not been allowed to vote because she was part of making the law or bill. Any "normal, ethical" justice would not have voted on it, were they Kagan. That *** John Roberts did not call her on that as he should have. Anyway, with Kagan not voting the law could not be held constitutional becuase it would have been 4 votes to 4 votes --- tie vote means it is not upheld! Take that: John Roberts you have usurped and shamed the Constitution --- of course I would expect no less dastardly deed from Elena Kagan! Under John Roberts, this is a lawless Supreme Court!
by Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch Back in May I told you that Judicial Watch had uncovered explosive documents from the Obama Department of Justice (DOJ) indicating Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan was heavily involved in crafting a defense for Obamacare while she served as Solicitor General. The overlooked betrayal in the Supreme Court's health care ruling: did Elena Kagan sell out Barack Obama?
In his quest to make conservatives comfortable, Obama hasn’t brought forth any assertive policy, executive order or bold “bully pulpit” announcement that directly impacts the black community. The courage with which the Obama White House has stood up for the *** community, women’s rights groups and Latinos has yet to be matched for African Americans, who have been far more loyal than any of those groups. Even the two Supreme Court picks the president had in his possession went to a Latino woman and a white woman from Harvard with a racially-exclusive hiring record (Elena Kagan didn’t hire or promote one single black, latino or Native American tenure track professor during her entire six year term as dean at Harvard Law School). Dorothy Height, before she died, told President Obama that it is sad that after existing for two centuries, the Supreme Court has yet to have an African American woman….at the same time, they’ve had dozens of Harvard graduates like Obama.
Supreme Court sources: "Elena Kagan" is really just Chief Justice Roberts in drag.
So far, President Obama's picks for the Supreme Court has been good. I give Sonia Sotomayor an "A" while I give Elena Kagan a "B-".
Three fun facts about Frozen Yogurt: 1] Did you know there is an actual Frozen Yogurt machine in the Supreme Court's cafeteria?! Yepp! It is true. Elena Kagan, is responsible for the first fro-yo machine installation. I bet her fellow co-workers love her! 2] Fro-Yo was first introduced in the New England area in the 1970s. 3] Fro-Yo is lower in calories due to using milk instead of cream. ~Hope you enjoyed a few fun facts! Have a wonderful afternoon & don't forget to stop on in! :D
"A Huge disappointment, but not a surprise. The war is on! Become a prayer warrior, and Engage in the Battle"; Today's Supreme Court decision is a massive disappointment for pro-life America and a huge political victory for the Obama Administration and Planned Parenthood. The decision to uphold ObamaCare was not a surprise after Barack Obama hand-picked two new pro-abortion Supreme Court Justices during his first term in office -- Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor. By confirming ObamaCare, they handed Obama a key win while ensuring that Planned Parenthood and their abortion allies will receive billions more in taxpayer funding to expand their abortion empire.
John Roberts appointed by George W. Bush Stephen Breyer appointed by Clinton Ruth Bader Ginsberg appointed by Clinton Elena Kagan appointed by Obama Sonia Sotomayor appointed by Clinton These are the judges that just put the stamp of approval on Obamacare. If the Supreme Court is shredding the Constitution, what's left??
My thoughts about the Supreme Court . . . Well if Elena Kagan can recuse herself from the Arizona immigration bill because she worked on parts of Arizona's immigration issues in the past before she became a Supreme Court Justice, then why didn't Clarence Thomas recuse himself from the healthcare bill when his wife Ginny Thomas was accepting donations on behalf of killing the healthcare bill? Seems very fishy to me! This is just one of the reasons that I think Justice Thomas is playing politics on these issues and does NOT have the interest of the american people in mind when making these decisions. I'm just sayin!!
President Barack Obama has again threatened the Supreme Court over ObamaCare - this time indicating that if the Court does not rule his way, he will take his revenge on senior citizens by destroying Medicare. Martha McCallum of Fox News reports that the "Administration has been sending 'missives' to the Supreme Court threatening that if it doesn't rule in Obama's favor on the healthcare law; Medicare will face disruption and 'Chaos.' Apparently, should the Supreme Court fail to submit to Obama's demands, and rather chooses to rule in favor of the Constitution, Obama & Co will begin a campaign to destroy Medicare Payments to doctors and hospitals. This isn't the first time Barack has threatened the court over ObamaCare. In Obama's first threat to the Supremes, he condemned the Justices by stating that it was "Unprecedented" for an "Unelected group of people" to overturn a law that was passed by a "Strong majority" of Congress. The 5th Circuit Court later admonished the Justice Dept. for those statements. W ...

Your Senator, Tom Coburn, has just signed on as a co-sponsor of the English Language Unity Act (S. 503) in the Senate! Senator Coburn has been a longtime, vocal proponent of official English. If you recall from 2010, it was Senator Coburn who aggressively questioned then-Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan on her views regarding laws establishing English as the official language of the individual states.
Two years ago today: Elena Kagan poses with the VP and President Obama on the day she’s nominated to the Supreme Court.
"The most important and alarming facet of Lugar's defeat, and a factor whose importance is being overlooked at the moment, is one of the things Mourdock cited against him: Lugar voted to confirm two of Obama's Supreme Court nominees. Obviously, Lugar would not have chosen to nominate an Elena Kagan or a Sonia Sotomayor. But he was following a longstanding practice of extending presidents wide ideological latitude on their Supreme Court picks. In the absence of corruption, lack of qualifications, or unusual ideological extremism, Democratic presidents have always been allowed to pick liberal justices, and Republican presidents conservative ones. That's not a law. It's just a social norm." "But the social norms that previously kept the parties from exercising power have fallen one by one. Under Obama's presidency, Republicans have gone to unprecedented lengths to block completely uncontroversial appointments, paralyzing the government and using the power to paralyze government to nullify duly passed laws. I ...
Mindy Myers, Warren’s campaign manager: “If Scott Brown has questions about Elizabeth Warren’s well-known qualifications — from her high marks as a teacher to her nationally recognized work on bankruptcy and the pressures on middle class families – he ought to ask them directly instead of hiding behind the nasty insinuations of his campaign and trying to score political points. Once again, the qualifications and ability of a woman are being called into question by Scott Brown who did the same thing with the Supreme Court nomination of Elena Kagan. It’s outrageous.”
The public record strongly indicates that Siegelman was targeted for a political prosecution in part because he supported an education lottery in Alabama, which was seen as a threat to Native American casinos in neighboring Mississippi. GOP felon Jack Abramoff has confessed to spending $20 million on behalf of the Mississippi Choctaws to defeat Siegelman--and get Republican Bob Riley elected. So you have a government lawyer (John-Alex Romano), who is married to a woman (Caroline Gary Romano) who owes her federal career to the Bush Administration, which railroaded Siegelman--and John-Alex Romano is arguing that the U.S. Supreme Court should not review the case. By just about any standards of fairness, that smells. And it really stinks when you consider that John-Alex Romano's conflict has been present for quite a while. He wrote a brief in 2009, while Elena Kagan was Solicitor General, urging the Supreme Court not to review the Siegelman case.

"A prosecutor ... may receive absolute immunity from suit for acts violating the Constitution in order to advance important societal values." -Elena Kagan, Solicitor General, 2009

Americans abhor hypocrisy, so we may expect that President Obama's own appointee to the Supreme Court, Justice Sonya Sotomayor will exercise the " judicial restraint" the President has demanded, and abstain from National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius and case 11-400, Florida v. The Department of HHS. Justice Elena Kagan-another Obama appointee- must recuse herself in any event in accordance to Section 455(b)(3) of Title 28 of the U.S. Code.
Now that Obama’s unconstitutional monstrosity – the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare – has reached the Supreme Court, it is time for Justice Elena Kagan to recuse herself.
