Suge Knight, Katt Williams, face jail terms for robbery: Hip-hop mogul, Marion Suge Knight and comedian, Katt Williams, were arrested on Wednesday, on suspicion of stealing a camera from a celebrity photographer in Beverly Hills last month. The Los Angeles County District Attorney said on Wednesday that Knight, 49, and Williams, 43, were each charged with one count of robbery. They are accused of stealing the camera of a female celebrity photographer on September 5, outside a studio in Beverly Hills. Prosecutors said they would seek $1 million bond for Knight, who has a prior felony conviction for assault with a deadly weapon, and $75,000 bond for Williams, whose legal name is Micah. Williams was arrested at a court in Inglewood, California, after he had arrived for an arraignment in a separate assault case, the District Attorney said. His album entitled "Don Killuminati : The 7 Day Theory" was the last album he had to do for Death Row Records. He was now going to work on his new record company called "Makaveli Records". Makaveli Records is the the new record company 2Pac planned on doing with "Tha Outlaw Immortalz". (In 1995, Suge Knight bailed 2Pac out of jail with the contract of 2Pac doing a double album and single album for Death Row Records. His contract was done and that's why he was suddently leaving Death Row Records.) 2. Basicly in a follow-up from # 1... With 2Pac gone, Death Row Records wasn't going to make any money off 2Pac. Eazy-E was no fan of Suge Knight. At one point, he wanted to kill him, according to Ruthless Records co-founder Jerry Heller. Eazy's feelings towards the ex-Death Row Records head was revealed during an interview with UGS radio's The Master Music Show. Apparently Eazy had a vendetta against Suge over Dr. Dre. "Eazy said, 'You know this guy Suge Knight?' I said, 'Yeah,'" Heller recounted. "'Well, I'm gonna kill him! This guy is gonna be a problem and I think I should kill him.'" Heller of course tried to discourage the N.W.A. rapper from carrying out the hit, on the strength that the label was on an upswing. "I said, 'Let me think this thing through. First of all, we're doing $10 million a month with six employees. We don't even have a typewriter in the office. I said, 'We're the most successful start-up record company in the history of the music business and you want to kill this guy?' I said, 'That just doesn't make any sense to me.'" Looking back, Heller said if Eazy had committed the heinous crime, it ...

Dr. Dre left Ruthless Records and went to Death Row Records, a boutique subsidiary of Interscope Records. Death Row, which was owned by a Black man by the name of Suge Knight, built an impressive roster of talented artists and dominated the charts selling millions of records generating hundreds of millions in revenue. Again, disagreements between the two brothers ended in a parting of ways. Dr. Dre walked away from Death Row Records, who at that time had acquired the legendary Tupac Shakur. After selling millions on Death Row/Interscope Tupac was murdered. A series of personal and professional misfortunes landed Knight in prison and the house that he and Dre built ended up in the hands (Interscope). Interscope is owned by a man by the name of Jimmy Iovine. Mr. Iovine happens to be Jewish. Before this gets monotonous, let me say that the three aforementioned cases are about as substantive as a teardrop in the Pacific Ocean when compared to the decades of draconian record contracts, usury and the general sl ...

RAP FACTS|| *Before starting out Death Row Records, Suge Knight used to do bodyguard work for Bobby Brown. *Back in the early 90s, Dr. Dre beat up a female TV host, Dee Barnes, for interviewing Ice Cube, and taking sides with him as he said some disrespectful things about Dre. Ice Cube had just left N.W.A at the time, and he was dissing Dre and the other members of N.W.A. After the interview, Dre saw Dee Barnes at an industry event; he beat her to the ground, and continually kicked her on the floor while his bodyguards held people off. He ended up with 240 hours of community service, 2 years probation and an anti-violence PSA. *Fat Joe gave Biggie his first show, and paid him $1,000...along with a bottle of Hennessey. * Mary J. Blige got on Jay Z's 'Can't Knock The Hustle' (off Reasonable Doubt) as a favour for Damon Dash, whom she had previously dated.

LET'S NOT FORGET THE RAMPART SCANDAL- LAPD The Rampart scandal refers to widespread corruption in the Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums (or CRASH) anti-gang unit of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Rampart Division in the late 1990s. More than 70 police officers either assigned to or associated with the Rampart CRASH unit were implicated in some form of misconduct, making it one of the most widespread cases of documented police misconduct in United States history. The convicted offenses include unprovoked shootings, unprovoked beatings, planting of false evidence, framing of suspects, stealing and dealing narcotics, bank robbery, perjury, and the covering up of evidence of these activities.[1] The New Rampart Police Station The Rampart Scandal is notable in popular culture because at least three LAPD officers implicated in the scandal were found to be on the payroll of hip-hop mogul Marion "Suge" Knight of Death Row Records, a convicted felon with known ties to the Bloods street gang. Below are the top 20 reasons why 2Pac is still alive. I have heard over 50 reasons to prove he is alive, but I decided on the top 20, and posted them here! I have included some other info that may prove some reasons wrong as well... Even some reasons that prove Suge Knight killed him... I suggest printing out this page so you can show everyone! If you think 2Pac is dead or there's no kind of scandal in his death, prepare to be convinced otherwise! 1. 2Pac now calls himself Makaveli... Machiavelli was an Italian war strategist who advocated faking one's death to fool their enemies... 2Pac was a fan of his and had read his books several times. Perhaps 2Pac is taking his advice... (But that is not all Machiavelli did... Nicolo Machiavelli was a political, military theorist, historian, playwright, diplomat, and military planner. He is well known today. Some of his works are "The Prince" (1513), and The Art of War (1521). NOTE: Bone Thugs 'N' Harmony's new double album which features 2Pac rather ...

DEATHROW In keeping with its iconic logo of a hooded figure strapped to an electric chair, Death Row Records, apart from being the prime purveyor of gangsta rap, has also allegedly been the shadowy, hooded presence behind an extensive catalogue of criminal activity, up to and including murder. Recently in Los Angeles, a brick couldn't be thrown in a police investigation without hitting the notorious but highly profitable rap label, or its kingpin, Marion Hugh "Suge" Knight. Tracks of dirty cops reportedly working for the company led even from the bubbling, bottomless tarpit of the Rampart scandal. Out of L.A.'s Ruthless Records--which in 1988 produced the kick-off gangsta album, "Straight Outta Compton" by N.W.A. (Niggaz With Attitude)--came Death Row Records, by virtue of a visit from Suge Knight and baseball-bat-wielding thugs to the management at Ruthless which resulted in the release from his contract of rap artist, Andre Young (Doctor Dre). Backed by Interscope Records, which funded the new label and ...

Suge Knight Interview About the tupac murder! worth the read! Straighten up your spine, suckas. Think about this knockin' on your front door: A 6'4", 330-pound (all muscle), gang-affiliated multimillionaire with nothin to lose. His skin clean, focus right and his once-untouchable company paralyzed but not folded, Suge Knight has found a strange peace while stuck behind prison walls for the last three years. And he's made millions of dollars while doin' time, scoring on projects like 2Pac's Greatest Hits and the Outlawz. ("I can only spend $140 a month in here. Think of how much I saved! I'm saving, like, $10,000 a day.") Even the controversial Death Row Records-released Suge Knight Represents: Chronic 2000 double album -- which sparked drama between Suge and ex-friend Dr. Dre about the Chronic trade-mark --went gold. And though there's no doubt that bad blood still swirls between Suge and Snoop and Dre, at least Suge recognized quality music. ("I think Dre's new record is good.") After being sentenced to ...
Keffe D tells the cops he was offered $1 million to kill Death Row rapper Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight, the label's former CEO. The informant tells his interrogators in plain language, albeit at a cool street clip, that Sean Combs — then known as Puff Daddy, the ringmaster of Bad Boy Entertainment, Death Row Records' bitter cross-country rival — commissioned Shakur's legendary murder in Vegas in September 1996. (Knight would survive that night's shooting with a bullet wound to the head.)
Problems continue to mount up for troubled comedian Katt Williams as reports claim he got detained by Los Angeles police in front of a Subway sandwich restaurant last night (December 20). Accompanied by former Death Row Records owner Suge Knight, Williams got placed into police custody over an alleged disturbance. While he was waiting for Suge, cops arrived to the Subway and confronted Katt. Cops tell TMZ ... they responded to a call about a disturbance involving the comic. Katt was handcuffed and placed in the back of a squad car ... where he was smiling ... and even gave a thumbs up to a TMZ photog. Eventually, Katt was released from custody and allowed to leave the scene. Katt tells TMZ ... cops initially took some weed he was carrying at the time ... and a gun ... but eventually gave back both items because he had a medical marijuana card and a permit for the weapon. Death Row Records: 1992 – 1996 Around the same time that the Def Jam armor was starting to show some *** frustration grew on the west side of their hip-hop not being accepted on the opposite side of the country. But the funk-fueled rap crafted by Dr. Dre and The D.O.C. would soon win over the rest of the world–they just had to get rid of what they perceived to be an unfair recording contract with Eazy-E and his manager Jerry Heller. Suge Knight used his well-documented strong-arm tactics to far from subtly resolve the matter. And with a monetary injection for the incarcerated Harry-O, ‘Tha Row’ was well on the way to redefining the landscape of hip-hop. When the debut of Dre protege Snoop came out, their dominance over rap was undeniable and would only be further solidified in the following years with Tupac Shakur’s addition to the roster. Still, frustrations over what they perceived as a lack of respect on the east coast culminated into the infamous east/west beef that led to the tragic dea .. ...

Ok I'm about to drop some knowledge on all your heads if you have a opinion please don't hesitate feel free to comment Tupac's and Biggie's deaths were conpirceys let me show you how Let's start with Tupac: was killed because of a hit that was put on him by Suge Knight. Let me tell you why Tupac was planning to leave Death Row Records because he started his on record company, Suge didn't like that at all so he killed him cause Death Row wouldn't be nothing with out Pac, if you watch a certain documentary it tells you the cars they were in wasn't in the same order that they were suppose to be in. And why was it the car that Tupac was in out of all the cars it had to be that one??? And if some one was shooting at the car any regular person would have steped on the gas and would try to move instead of sit there while there car was being shot at also some where it says that Tupac tried to get to the back to get out of the line of fire but Suge held him down supposly trying to save him. Notice if you look at a ...

Suge Knight.. The owner of Death Row records with whom 2Pac Was Signed
Last night I watched a documentary on the killing of Tupac Amaru Shakur and Christopher George Wallace that talked about Suge Knight being responsible for an elaborate conspiracy to kill Tupac because he owed him 10 million dollars. Not only did Tupac want his money but he was said to be leaving Death Row Records. The most interesting part of the story is Biggie Smalls was killed to throw the light off Suge Knight & Death Row and onto the East Coast West Coast Rap Beef. The Five Heartbeats Movie by Robert Townsend told a similar story of corruption in the movie industry. In the documentary the corruption goes all the way through the LAPD and when the lead investigative detective was getting to close he was taken off the case and moved from his department (now retired). When Biggie came to Cali to promote his work he didn’t know what was up and got caught up in the aftermath if you believe the documentary. And if the documentary is true we lost two of our generation’s most talented artist over greed. L ...

Tupac could still be alive, according to former Death Row Records label CEO Suge Knight.
