About French President Francois Hollande's Visit to India 2013 President Hollande is expected to reach New Delhi on February 14 where he will have extensive dialogue with the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and also President Pranab Mukherjee. The French business delegation will also attend a meeting organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in New Delhi. President Hollande is expected to attend a State Dinner in his honour in the same evening. Looks like the reunion will take place on a Saturday between July 27th and Aug 24th. UPDATE *** Great news!!! Emmett has been taken off of the ventilator! He passed his swallow test and will be able to eat very soon. Brandon was able to hold him and he is thriving!! Megan is in surgery now to repair her right knee, left ankle and elbow. Please pray for guidance for the surgeons and stregnth for Megan. Also please pray that she is able to come off of the ventilator and that she is able to come visit the children tonight. Wyncie is a fighter and we still know that God is able to perform a complete miracle in her body!! Please continue to pray that God will turn this around!! I sometime feel, regarding certain female friends, being in the state of wedlock for life. I made a vow, to an insecure female friend, to see her aged and care about each step. That made her smile and kept a lid on the process. I started to photographer her at different stage of life and realized we are like an old couple. Fan Question My son is 7 will be 8 in march. He was diagnosed about a year ago to have ADHD and was put on meds. His main problem is that he is very hyper and bouncy and makes these godawful noises. Since then we have had to change meds and up the dosage. He was on a slow release pill once in the morning and he was doing amazing in school but it wore off around 430 and the rest of the night was pure *** He wouldn't do homework and the tantrums and behavior was so bad we would all end up crying... He wouldn't fall asleep til at least midnight every night so he wasn't getting the sleep he needed. We recently switched his meds again to a pill in the am and one he takes at school at lunch time. He is doing wonderful at home now.. we are all a lot happier. BUT I just received a call from his teacher (who is very active with us to help him) that he is slipping backwards in school not focusing and making his noises. What do I do? should we put him back to the other meds because he was doing so well at school? .. ...

I'm a passionate pro-2nd amendment gun rights guy, but cannot wrap my mind around opposition to pre-purchase criminal background checks. I've spent a lot of my life around fellow gun rights advocates (including a 2 hour dinner conversation with NRA head Wayne LaPierre in 2003), so there probably isn't an explanation or soundbite I haven't heard. Criminal background checks do not harm 2nd amendment rights, they enhance and protect them by restricting access to those who should not own a firearm. Background checks should be the lowest of low-hanging fruit on the public policy tree.

Three months ago yesterday, Hurricane Sandy decimated the tiny hamlet of Union Beach, New Jersey. Our 1.88 square mile town is located on the Raritan Bay. Prior to October 29, 2012, we had 2,400+ homes. Sandy hit us hard .. like nothing anyone here has ever seen. After the storm had passed, many of our homes were gone. I am my husband's caregiver and some days its so overwhelming. We have three children,one of which is autistic and one is a newborn. Today in pnohm penh Cambodia I visited prison s-21 (where former high officials were tortured by Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge 1975-1979). I met a survivor! Chum mey was allowed to live because of his mechanic skills to fix typewriters, sewing machines, etc (despite the Khmer rouge's aim to wipe out Cambodians with education and control the uneducated masses) Then Claire Bowman and I went to one of the killing fields called Choeung ek killing fields ~10 miles south where ~17000 Cambodian citizens were brought after displacement, family separation & hard labor , tortured until they confessed crimes to "selling information to the CIA or the KGB or the Vietnamese" and then killed there. Note: the Khmer Rouge came to power in 1975 initially at the popularity and support of the people because their neutral king Sihanouk had been displaced by generals supported by the U.S. to kick the Vietnamese out of Cambodia at the time, which destabilized the country. been layed up sick for a few days so I appologize for not reporting sooner. We had 3 dogs killed by 3 different people that went to good use for the students and teachers at NC State Vet school. Ill try and post some pics later of the event and of the coyotes that were shot. Since it was a 3 way tie we had to go on weight and Rayvon Davis of Asheboro won with a 31 lb dog. He won the Hog hunt with 704 Outdoors. John Paul MacPherson would have won with a 35lb dog but he tagged his at 5:15pm on Saturday.15min past the tournament cut off time. Second place in the tourney went to Barry Hamilton with a 28.5 lb female. They killed it on Thursday afternoon right before the snow and sleet came. This is ridiculous. I have been disabled since 2008. Social security back dated it to October of that year since I could no longer work or finish school. Within that year I was hospitalized 5 times. Let's count that again 1-2-3-4-5 times all a weeks worth each time. All my tests results showed that there was a discrepancy in two blood counts which coincide with either lymphoma or leukemia . Today has been so incredibly fun & exciting being introduced to my new work place. I can't believe my mind is still in one piece with the beauty & nature & absolute awe of where I've been blessed to start a new chapter in my life. I start my first day tomorrow then Saturday has family & friends from all over the state coming to help move our things into the apartment, then a huge gumbo dinner, & an evening on the town for the Galveston Art Walk. I haven't been this happy in so very long & I am so excited to see what my future holds. Every day just gets better & better.

I met today with officials in the legislative branch. A redux of SB 59 will soon be introduced in the Michigan Senate. The bill would move licensing authority to the MSP, allow anyone to get an exemption from pistol free zones for concealed carry, and lower the cost for obtaining a CPL amongst other benefits.
