Wimbledon has seeded Novak Djokovic first, Rafa Nadal second and Andy Murray third. I'm not quite with the logic. Rafa is still No1 (and could remain so if he goes to the final) Andy Murray is defending champion. Djok might take over as No 1 but that is also to be seen. Wimbledon is the only Slam that doesn't seed according to ATP Rankings, but I still don't get it, Stan Wawrinka is ranked No 3, Roger no 4 and Murray only 5, yet Roger is seeded fourth and Stan fifth. Bietjie deurmekaar vir my. Maar wat weet ek ook nou?
Roger Federer has the same number of Major titles as Rafa Nadal, Andy Murray, Del Potro and Stan Wawrinka combined!
The final of the between Rafa Nadal and Stan Wawrinka will be LIVE on British Eurosport from 8am tomorrow morning.
Rafa Nadal,is he going to win his 14th Grand Slam or is Stan Wawrinka going to surpass Rafa for the 1st time?
Caught the replay from last nights’ semifinals….what a performance by Rafa Nadal in his victory over Roger Federer! With the quicker conditions and strong form that Roger showed in his wins over Tsonga and Murray, he was hoping to make it a chance for another Grand Slam final however Rafa just couldn’t be denied. Rafa was stronger in all parts of the game and kept Roger pinned to the baseline with heavy ground strokes making it tough for him to attack. Could be an interesting final - Rafa, going for his 14th Grand Slam title to tie Pete Sampras for Grand Slam titles, has never lost to Stan Wawrinka (12-0). And even though it’s the first Grand Slam final for Stan, he’s had an incredible 15 months, playing with a lot of confidence and looks much more in control out there…who knows maybe is his lucky number.
I just can't wait for tomorrow's big finals between Rafa Nadal and STAN Wawrinka. I really really hope STAN is the last man standing.

Rafa Trash Talk Rafa is so polite and deferential in his interviews and never fails to call Roger Federer the best tennis player ever while pounding him on the court every time. Rafa Nadal doesn’t trash talk but what if he did Interviewer: You have a great rivalry with Roger ... Rafa: What rivalry? I kick his *** every time Interviewer: I mean, you have had some great matches in the past Rafa: Yes in the past when I was still a teenager he got me a couple of times and then I started beating him at Roland Garros and he would say he would get me on other surfaces. Then I got him on his supposedly favorite surface grass and then on hard courts. I have beaten him on all surfaces including one that was half grass half clay. Interviewer: Federer says he has had great matches with you Rafa: That RF. I don’t know how many times he wants to get beaten. He should retire. He should stop talking about being my rival. I will beat him every time on any surface, indoor or outdoor, in Europe or America, with one bad ...

Australian Open 2014: Day Eleven Diminika Cibulkova? What? I don’t think anyone was guessing that Radwanska would experience such a complete let-down and lose so easliy. Congratulations are in order for Cibulkova. She is playing great tennis and is in her first Grand Slam final. Wow! Go Little One! Did anyone catch Radwanska covering the camera lens with her towel as she excited the court? I believe that you can tell who a person really is by how they handle adversity. Ms. Radwanska handles it like a Crabby Moo. Before Tennis Announcers go on air, they should all agree on the pronunciation of difficult names, like Dominika Cibulkova’s. Martina Navratilova says, “Si-buhl-kova,” while Tracy Austin says, “See-bull-kova.” Which is it? Cliff Drysdale said that Aga Radwanska’s game is, “sweet, gentle and interesting.” Was he talking about her game or her personality? Why did Stan Wawrinka get to play his semi-final a full day before Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer? He gets more rest ti ...

Draw Done for Shanghai Rolex Masters: The Rolex Boutique and in particular the “Rolex Experience” on the historic Bund was the venue for the draw for the 2013 Shanghai Rolex Masters and it was an event that attracted some very special guests. The man who all others are compared to in tennis, the great legend Rod Laver was in attendance. He was joined on stage by the very popular Jo Wilfried Tsonga and by China’s No.1 Zhang (George) Ze. Then, at the very end, just as the draw was completed, appearing in front of the Rolex Crown logo Roger Federer appeared through the shadows. It was a moment greeted with gasps and applause as Federer made his way onto the stage to be greeted by the dignitaries.
