Premier League: Chelsea (a) The Magpies return to London on Saturday looking to record an improbable fifth successive capital away win, after victories at QPR, Spurs, Palace and West Ham. Victory over Mourinho's mob would complete our first double of the season, following a 2-0 home win at SJP back in November. Kick-off at Stamford Bridge is at 3pm and all tickets for the away section have now been sold. NUFC: Not quite bare bones, but certainly a lean carcass of a squad, with Loic Remy (suspended) and Cheick Tiote, Fabricio Coloccini, Yoan Gouffran and Papiss Cisse (all injured) missing Saturday's game. Of those, Gouffran and Cisse have a chance of facing Spurs on Wednesday, with Tiote and Colo both predicted to be missing for at least three weeks. Colo last featured on New Years Day and has remained in Argentina since the club allowed him to return there last month. Of the fringe players, Gael Bigirimana is out and Gabriel Obertan doubtful, leaving the likes of Sylvain Marveaux and Dan Gosling to make u ...

BBC Sport profiles the most likely transfer targets in the January window - at home and abroad. Papiss Cisse joining Newcastle and Nikica Jelavic moving to Everton were arguably the best deals in the 2012 winter window, but who will prove to be the shrewdest signings this time round? Here are our top 50 suggestions for high profile moves: POTENTIAL Premier League MOVERS ANDREY ARSHAVIN (aged 31, forward) Arsenal Started brightly but his form has deteriorated dramatically. Fallen down the pecking order and has been restricted to substitute appearances. May move back to his native Russia. Florent Malouda (32, winger) Chelsea The Frenchman is still at Stamford Bridge, you know! Has not featured at all this season because of the form of Eden Hazard and Juan Mata. Will probably return to France. So SK says that Rooney's overhead kick is THE finest of the Premier League history? I'd honestly say that's one of the finest, but not THE finest. What about RVP's goal against Charlton? Henry's goal vs Man Utd when Barthez was in goal at Highbury? Crouch's vs Man City? If any goal from the BPL would be the finest, it'd be Papiss Cisse vs Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. You see overhead kick more commonly than seeing a goal like Cisse's, and Cisse's goal was out of the ordinary. This is truly my opinion but SK said it was a "FACT" that Rooney's overhead kick was the finest. I'd honestly want a unbiased vote on which goal was the best, when I say unbiased, I mean people who live outside the UK and mainly support a team outside the BPL. DD
I kissed Papiss Cisse's head after he scored against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea v. Newcastle Preview (Sky Sports) Roberto Di Matteo and Eden HazardChelsea host Newcastle United in the Saturday evening kick-off looking to make it a perfect three wins on the bounce in this season's Premier League. Roberto Di Matteo's early league leaders followed up their 2-0 away win at Wigan on Sunday with a pulsating 4-2 home victory over new boys Reading on Wednesday. The Blues had to come from behind to beat Brian McDermott's side and Di Matteo will be looking for his team to tighten up at the back, especially against top strikers Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba. Cisse notched a brace - including his curling wonder-goal - as the Magpies downed the Blues 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in May last season. And Ba - who is hoping to be fit from a sore shin - showed his own goalscoring prowess with the opener as Alan Pardew's side beat former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas' new team Tottenham 2-1 last weekend to get their season off to a winning start. Team News Gary Cahill may continue in the starting line ...

PAPISS DEMBA CISSE'S GOAL VOTED GOAL OF THE SEASON.. Yet his second on the night defied such logic. It defied any logic. It did not just bend the rules of physics, it smashed them. In fact, the theories of Isaac Newton might have been vastly different had he been at Stamford Bridge on May 2, 2012, instead of sitting under an apple tree in 17th-century England. One swing of pure talent brought about a goal which fans, commentators and 21 of the players on the pitch had not seen coming two seconds prior; a beauty which arced over a helpless Petr Cech and into the far corner. The swerve still does not look right on replays, but it gave birth to the type of finish that would have fans of any club standing and applauding-by Papiss Cisse
I didn't see Didier Drogba's reaction to Papiss Cisse's second goal at Stamford Bridge. Respecting class when he see it.

Alan Pardew hailed Papiss Cisse's 'astonishing' second goal after Newcastle's 2-0 win at Chelsea ended their long wait for a league victory at Stamford Bridge. Cisse opened the scoring with a fierce first-half effort, but he bettered this strike with a superb curling shot in the closing stages which sealed Newcastle's first triumph on the Blues' ground since 1986
Papiss Cisse says his goal came at the perfect moment. A stunning double from Papiss Cisse kept Newcastle in the hunt for a Champions League berth with a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge. The Magpies striker found the net in each half to keep the visitors level on points with fourth-placed Tottenham and all but end Chelsea's hopes of qualifying for Europe's elite via the Premier League. The Blues were quickest out of the blocks and Meireles missed a couple of early chances which the hosts paid dearly for on 19 minutes. David Santon went on a surging run before playing in Cisse, and the Senegalese teed himself up with his first touch to fire a stunning volley past Petr Cech. It took until the 36th minute before the Blues mustered a response with Florent Malouda heading wide from a pinpoint Fernando Torres cross. Branislav Ivanovic then headed over from a Meireles corner before the visitors went agonisingly close to a second when Demba Ba rattled the bar a minute before the break. John Obi Mikel was lucky to esca ...

Last weekend I thought Luis Suarez had scored the goal of the season. Then tonight Papiss Cisse introduced himself to Stamford Bridge.
Papiss Cisse has produced a pair of goals, both for the highlight reel, as Newcastle United defeated Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge tonight. The Geordies recorded their first win at the West London venue since 1986 to give Alan Pardew his first victory as Newcastle manager in London. Senegal ace Cisse was the star of the show with two contenders for goal of the season which sunk the Blues and dashed their hopes of a top-four finish, meaning they will have to win the Champions League final against Bayern Munich on May 19 if they want to play in Europe’s premier club competition next season. The opening goal came in the 19th minute when Davide Santon made a powerful run down the right flank before finding Cisse on the edge of the area who popped it up with his right foot and then finishing sublimely with a volley past Petr Cech with his left. Chelsea pushed extremely hard in the second half and looked like pinching a leveller until Cisse scored an absolutely ridiculous goal with the outside of his right f ...
