Attention Parents ofJr high students: Club 78 will not be meeting for a while and I would like to let parents know what other programs are offered in our area for your youth. Here are some great options. I hope one of these will be a great fit for your child. On Sundays from 6:00 to 7:30 Trinity's youth group meets under the leadership of Steve and Kim Deneen. This is a great Sunday option! If Wednesdays fit your family schedule better, you have a couple options. Sons Life Church under the leadership of Brian Reinhardt meets from 6:30 to 8:00. And in the Unionville area we are blessed to have Nicole Prime leading a group at St Peters Church, after school on Wednesdays. Students may ride the bus to St Peter. I hope you find a wonderful match to fit the needs of your child. I will keep you posted on events for middle school students as I plan them.

I'm trying to be optimistic ;) about St Peters' BB game against Fairmont in round one in the state tournament. It seems to me, the boys play BETTER in their white jerseys when considered the 'visiting' team. Fairmont is seeded so should be the 'home' team.GO SAINTS !!
It would be a shame if St Peters and Pauls School closes, when you think it came from this at the turn of the century. (Please accept my apologies for not posting to the original posts, but for some reason I can't post when I add photos in the comment section--must be a security setting.)

Good evening world, that was fun, Been shopping at Asda with my Mum. Then I took her out for lunch, She'd like fish and chips, I had a hunch. Went to Ocean Fish Bar in St Peters Ave, I asked Mum, "what will you have?" She says, "fish and chips with a cup of tea," The sea bass salad was for me. Next, to Cheryl's new house to show Mum, I had rung her and she said "yes, come". Took Mum home and unpacked her stuff, Home for me, I'd had enough. Then Spitfire, my stupid cat, Decided to sleep on the back door mat. Bloody cold with the door open wide, In or out, he couldn't decide. Made the decision for him though, Shut the door, outside you go. An evening now of naff TV. A Hooch or two on the sofa for me. I'll light the fire and put up my feet, A relaxing evening cannot be beat. Enjoy your evening whatever you're doing, Even if it's just TV viewing xxx

Bristol - City of 1000 years - A kind of Then and Now showing the basic Saxon Defences as known, modified into stone walls by the Norman conquerors around 1080. There will always be some aspect of conjecture in these maps unless we dig up the whole city!.The Saxon staked bank and ditch mound is likely to have taken in the upper pithay slope then across to the river taking in the east end of Mary Le Port, more of a curved bubble, that the Norman sheer cut across the east side of St Peters Tower (The nave was to the WEST of tower then)

Is it just me, or has anyone else been to a Garden Centre in St Peters and bought something on special offer.only for it to ring up with the standard price at the till??? its happened to me on both my last purchasing forays most recently for pet food being told the items I had purchased weren't on the list for special offers (even though they were on a bleeding great display in the pet food dept) then upon finding out via walkie talkie that they were in fact on special offer the excuse was that "the tills went down this morning and may have lost some of the specials"...I'm guessing the list printed list must have experienced difficulties as well!!! Just saying that's all check your till receipts.

Just one event can change ones life, this story changed quite a few. Over ten years ago my son Jon answered an ad to coach Hudson Catholic football. He went on to coach and meet a great bunch of guys, they went on to coach football at St. Peters College. My son Billy played football for St Peters and now becomes part of the group. They go back to Hudson and Billy by now is also coaching. Jon gets married, the guys are his groomsmen, Jon urges Billy to ask the trainer Erin out and two years ago, today they walked down the aisle. There is more, in a few weeks they will welcome a new Chevy into the world. Should send the story to Hallmark. Happy Anniversary Erin and Billy! Love you Mom

IT SEEMS THAT I'VE HAD A BIT OF TROUBLE WITH TARGET, TOO, THIS CHRISTMAS. . TARGETED FOR THE NAUGHTY LIST I was so excited about Christmas and was looking forward to slipping by another year on the “Nice List” when my dreams came to a screeching halt. Yesterday my dear wife Jreceived the following letter from the localTarget: TARGET STORES St PeterS, MO OFFICE OF THE REGIONAL MANAGER Dear Mrs. Dandino Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a commotion in our St Peters, MO store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to BAN him from the store. Our complaints against your husband, Mr. Mike Dandino, are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras: 1. Captain Colin secures victory for Port Once Again PGBC 21s 3 St Peters 1 In this fantastic team performance the Port boys took on a St Peters side that are 2 divisions above them, and ensured they went through to the next round of the Lady Darling Cup. As usual Robbie was fantastic in goal when he had to be and bar the penalty kick awarded to St Peters he was always going to keep them out. The defence were solid throughout and the work rate of the midfield was fantastic, with ref’s motm being awarded to Ryan McGarrity for the effort he put in. Goals from Ross McLaughlin and Darren Patton added to their seasons tally but it was Colin Stevenson showing off again with his free kick perfection to ensure the Port went ahead and stayed ahead. Tam, Paul and John are very pleased with the effort and team spirit of recent weeks and hope this continues. The boys are pictured with their new strip, and wish to thank Gillian for her efforts in getting this sponsorship for them; they also want to say a massive thank ...

Let Tambo’s example unite us It is very unfortunate that we do not talk often enough about this African giant, this true son of the soil and one of the most substantial leaders our revolution ever produced, comrade president Oliver Reginald Tambo. All of us, black and white, owe our democracy and the progress from apartheid to a democratic South Africa substantially to OR (as he was affectionately known). Oliver Reginald Tambo was born 96 years ago, on October 27, 1917, in Bizana, Pondoland, in the now Eastern Cape. At 16, OR was already orphaned. Despite growing up without parents, he continued with his studies and graduated as a scientist, majoring in maths and physics, from the University of Fort Hare. It is said he wanted to be a medical doctor but he ended up training as a teacher and taught at St Peters in Johannesburg. He later trained as an attorney and joined his old friend, comrade Nelson Mandela, in a law practice in Johannesburg in 1952. I guess the majority of us who ended up pursuing law w ...

The 1st XI managed a vital point in a 1-1 draw with Kelston. The result could prove to be crucial in the relegation battle as the bottom four teams are currently all within 4 points of each other. The pressure was on, as the curtain raiser fixture between the reserves and Kelston reserves showed a classy display of football from the home side. St Peters got up 6-3 in a convinving fashion. The opening stages of the game were very close and somewhat out of a bit of luck Kelston went ahead 1-0 after an impressive free kick flew into the top corner. But the boys fought back and managed to dominate the first half in possession but created little scoring opportunities. The message in the second half was clear. Get the ball forward and score. We continued to dominate possession and territory and created several chances. David Browne came close to leveling the scores but his free kick was denied by the post as had is shot earlier in the first half. The chances kept coming and with both our fullbacks attacking the ...
A 1-1 draw was all Kelston could take out of todays game against St Peters. The 1st half for Kelston started strong as St Peters were forced to play in there half for most of the time. Peters Army was more like Peter Pans Army as they weren't full of life at all and were more focused on blowing their horn than showing any support for the home side who were struggling to gain momentum. A free kick half way through the half gave Kelston a 1-0 lead as Pascal Artzt struck it to perfection into the top corner of the goal as the St Peters team and supporters stood in bewildered as the Kelston bench erupted into cheers. Kelston continued on and forced St Peters to play the ball along the backline for about 10 minutes straight. The home side had few chances but the ones they tried to convert were nicely saved by Keeper Damian Hirst. Later in the half a banner appeared along with Peters Army reading "GOD IS ON OUR SIDE", I'm afraid to say that was not the case at the end of the first half for St Peters. The 2nd ha ...

Just spent the whole day at the Vatican did the tour of the museum and then the Sistine Chapel and then St Peters. It was really crowded because their is a special mass for St Peter and St Paul being the 29th of June. Then we went on a special tour called the Scavia tour which only allows groups of 12 to go down to the Necropolis which was amazing as they only found all this underneath in 1941 the tomb of St Peter was found there and lots of chambers filled with graves from families in the 2nd century it was truly fantastic but we are exhausted from all the walking. Post some photos later when my photographer gets them ready.

I want to share something with you all today! About a Special Woman who celebrates a birthday she will be 47. I remember when her mother was expecting her even when my mother told my father that her parents were " expecting" or " in cinta " as they say in Italian! I was 7 and we had just visited Her family for a get together, they lived in St Peters. Michael was a baby sound asleep. Margaret wasn't even on the radar. They were uncomplicated times and families were sound ( at least ours was) I felt safe! I felt loved and protected Mum and Dad and Michael were my world. My Grandmother was still alive here my grandparents in Italy were too!! So on June 26th 1967 . This special lady was born. She had an older brother and was cherished and adored- I guess she still is! I cherish her because she is the most compassionate, kind and unaffected person I have ever know. Throughout her life she has been beset with health issues, never had a normal life. Went to school normally but was never able to pursue a career o ...

Short Survey for my FB friends. St Peter's Lutheran Church in Loxton is embarking on a process to work out what makes us 'unique', in order to be more effective in ministry and the community. Some of you may be members, or just live in the area, or have visited once for Little Town or a wedding, or live on the other side of the country or even the world and only heard of it through other people, but I would like as many answers as possible. Question: What three words immediately come to mind when you think of St Peters, Loxton?

Thanks to anyone who can help or even just spread the word
Unfortunately we were unable to get the victory today in what was an epic battle with St Kents. It was fantastic to see a huge turnout of support today. Was definitely a huge boost for the boys and helped us to get the best out of the game. The scoring started early with St Kents opening their account in just the 2nd min. Judging on the current form of the team, no one at the Cage would have been suprised to see the St Kents team push on from there. But the flood gates remained shut and although St Kents came close to finding the net on several occasions, the score was still 1-0 as the two teams went into halftime. The St Kents coach and players were looking somewhat frustrated that they had not managed to put the game to bed in the opening stanza. There frustration continued and Francis Cain was proving too much for the St Kents defence. After a subdued first half performance, he picked up his game, winning some vital freekicks in the attacking third. Despite this St Peters were unable to capitalize but ...
Congratulations to Silpa Parmar of St Peters parkrun who received the, "Parkrunner of the month" award. Parkrun is a simple, effective and empowering model where runners partake in FREE timed 5km runs every Saturday morning. Community events like this are the way forward and I am honoured to feel part of it.
'P' plater arrested for drink driving in the city. Police arrested a man overnight after he crashed the car he was driving in the CBD. Just before 3am, police received a call that a Commodore sedan had crashed into a tree at the intersection of Pultney and Grenfell Streets. Police were quickly on the scene and saw the driver running through Hindmarsh Square. Police gave chase and apprehended the man a short distance away. The driver was subsequently breath tested and gave a reading of 0.112. An 18-year-old man from St Peters was charged with driving without due care, leaving the scene of an accident, drink driving and contravening a condition of his probationary licence. A 17-year-old youth from Smithfield, who was seated in the front passenger seat at the time of the crash, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The man has been bailed to appear in court at a later date.

Sagrada Familia on 60 minutes, 2nd most beautiful church I have had the privilege to visit, ( St Peters in Rome # 1). It is in the most beautiful city I have ever visited Barcelona, of course I have not been to Paris or Londen.
What a wonderful Lords Day in St Peters - The newly married couple (Philip and Fumiko Onslow) were with us, there were visitors both morning and evening; the singing was heartfelt and well led (thanks Iain Craig, Chris, David and Ruth); in the morning we continued to look at Job (with a wee science lesson thrown in as well!) and then in the evening who would have thought that a sermon on Church discipline (2 Corinthains 2:5-11) could be so practical, challenging and relevant to us today?! We thank the Lord for every encouragement.
Even from here in Oyo Nigeria I am very happy to announce original & former WNBA coach Pat Coyle is new HC at St Peters.

Great welcome at St Peters and New Tredegar RFC yesterday and last nite. Really two good clubs and great crowd. Glad u enjoyed the speech. Great to visit some of the grass roots clubs that are so important to the future of Welsh Rugby
Match Report 4 vrs Marist June 1st Wet days are Rugby days. Proof that the school program is working came to me in a text whilst I was watching the Brumbies beat the Hurricanes 30-23. Megan van der Kamp told me her son Isaac had received a business card from me at St Peters and Pauls and he was super keen to play for Easts. I replied that if Isaac came down to Curtin International Rugby Park on Saturday then he could see what was going on and may even get some game time. We welcome Isaac to the Easts Juniors Rugby Club. Elliot was unable to make it due to a family commitment. Harry turned up late sending a scare through the team as we looked like we may not have been able to fill a full 15. It was good to see a couple of Easties Old Boys in Luke and Locky Godwin and Henry playing for Marist. We kicked off and scored first after 5 minutes through Lofi. Despite this the boys had scrappy start which we should have predicted after some random behaviour during warm ups. Marist hit back after a laspe in defence ...
25 foot tree picked up and tossed across Plum Creek Dr in St Peters.
Walked out to catch the ferry and there was a lady standing by my steps (to the street) I spoke / she spoke of God's mercy - invited me to mass down the street at beautiful cathedral - St Peters- went in and enjoyed Gospel reading and prayer - now I am waiting on the ferry - it's cold here - I obviously didn't plan my wardrobe well - all good - the kid from Prince Of Tides is playing his violin in the ferry station while all wait! Cool - did you know Staten Island has minor league team - the Yankees!
Where is Broomhall Green? Because from the bus station in town to "St Peters" of what I actually asked for its £1.50 single! Yet on the ticket it says Broomhall Green? I swear I'm being ripped off every time I get on the bus!
World Travels - our last day in Rome and two more sets of tours one in morning and one at night in the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel and in between all that we go shopping. So we meet up with Mike for our basilica and church tours. We hit it off right away when he uses a transformer movie reference. Mike is studying to become a Dominican Priest he is from Pittsburg. He hates the pirates loves Steelers and Pens. So off we go on the Basilica walk and we do mean walking at least 5 miles or more. We go to St John Lateran, St Mary Major, & St Peters. The wealth of knowledge and stories on the saints, and history of the art on the walls and ceiling and each important item in the Basilicas was astounding. Plus he is funny and witty. We were able to see a piece of Jesus Manger, yes that manger. Plus the tip of a spear that pierced Jesus on the cross matches the DNA blood on The Shroud of Turin. It is humbling and it reinforces your belief in the one and only Jesus and God. I have a picture of the mang ...
John Payn contested the Allen trophy 15 mile walking event from St Peters (5 laps around Heapey) and was 7th in 3hrs 15mins claiming it was windy, and although not equaling his former efforts he still seemed quite happy with himself and the result ; not bad for 80 years old !
A fiery comeback was left too late after an inspiring cameo performance from everyone's favourite Papua New Guinean, David Browne as he notched two goals from the spot in the last 15 minutes. Moments earlier a chance went begging as Daniel Menzies yet again hit the post from a short range free kick. The support from the St Peters faithful was in full force and the team would like to thank everyone that made the journey out to Kelston. Next week we return to the Cage, in what will be our first home game of the season and our first game on the hallowed turf in the Premier League. Come along and support the team in the home fixture against Rangitoto where we will look to continue our unbeaten run at the Cage. Please support this PUBLIC RALLY in response to the roll out of the DPA's MONDAY 18th FEB.2-3 PM @ PARLIAMENT HOUSE The Weatherill government is changing Adelaide forever. It is unrolling a 30-year plan which will allow the development of high-rise, high-density buildings around our parklands, along Linear Park, in front of our suburbs, next to our houses. The government says it has considered transit corridors, cars and pollution, but not the people. This is an insult! Mt Barker, St Clair, Adelaide City, Burnside, Unley, Prospect, Norwood, St Peters, Gawler, Cheltenham- it goes on. We are all potentially affected. The government has taken charge of planning rules and rolling out a series of changes across Adelaide and outer Suburbs . Your suburb might be next! The plan affects us all, yet we have had little or no opportunity for consultation. By the government’s own admission, there has been no research on how these developments will affect local communities. There has been no consideration about the . ...

***Big match preview*** Roscommon and District league Premier Division side Ballinasloe Town take on Clonmel Celtic in the last sixteen of the FAI Junior Cup next Sunday at the Curragh Grounds Ballinasloe Town at 2pm. Only on two previous occasions have Ballinasloe Town reached the last sixteen of this prestigious competition only to be beaten by the Limerick side Carew Park and the Athlone side St Peters. In round six of the competition Ballinasloe beat a fancied Castlebar Celtic side 2 - 0 at Ballinasloe and were full value for their win. A strong defence of Mike Lynch, Garry Egan David Cullen Shane Duffy and keeper Aidan Fallon will be difficult to get past. Darragh Concannon continues to run the midfield show with his accurate free kicks likely to cause trouble for the Clonmel Celtic defence. Aidan Dooney Alan Duffy and Shane Treacy are other skill full players in the home side. Clonmel Celtic are only ten years in existence but over this period they have steadily improved. They have a very good youth ...

Was no one but me, "struck" by the coincidence of the massive lightning strike @ St Peters on the very day of the announcement of the first Papal resignation in 590 years ? Last Pope ? Prophecy???
Pope Benedict 'complicit in child sex abuse scandals', say victims' groups Pope Benedict XVI 'knew more about clergy sex crimes than anyone else in church yet did little to protect children', say critics Children play in St Peters' Square at the Vatican. Benedict, then Cardinal Ratzinger, was in charge of investigating sex abuse scandals but critics say he covered up paedophilia. Photograph: Gregorio Borgia/ AP For the legions of people whose childhoods and adult lives were wrecked by sexual and physical abuse at the hands of the Roman Catholic clergy, Pope Benedict XVI is an unloved pontiff who will not be missed. Lawrence Mudariki, Harare Diocese Executive Secretary- Just to clear the air on why a punishment of 2 years was pronounced on all former Vabvuwi who had defected to Kunonga. As you all know that Vabvuwi, like any other group, are guided by rules and regulations of the game (constitution). The constitution clearly state that Vabvuwi vanoita more than one year vasina kugadzirisa hunhu hwavo mushure me suspension vachadzingwa zvachose but ava vakaita 5 years vachishungurudza sangano and we were very lenient with these guys that no one was expelled from the guild. All that we said was at least there should be a form of punishment so as to send a strong message to those who in future might want to commit the similar offences. It was also unanimously agreed that the one year suspension period doesn’t apply here. This was a collective decision arrived at after serious consultations with Church Authorities, Advisors, District executives, former executive members of Vabvuwi and also St Peters guild executive. Played church organ for the Anglican church on Pender Island. This is the feedback I got: "The people at St Peters said that you are a great musician, even if you have no idea how carols are suppose to sound. They were amused and taken with you." What's a Jewish boy to do?
Dinner tonight in the French Quarter... Don't remember the name but the 50/50 (Sausage/Hanburger) was out of this world!! Saw Joe and Jennifer Montana on Canal street this morning, and Jerry Rice in the French Quarter close to 9:00pm.. Crowd was very orderly, no problems.. We found all the fans, 49ers and Ravens having a good time and enjoying the time here. We even had a few drink with a flock of Raven fans after dinner...Jack's knee and back was starting to hurt so we called it a night.. Tomorrow morning 11:00ish we will set up on N.St Peters st and see what kind of donations we can bring in... Our total for this evening (with out text 2 give numbers in yet) is $3965.00 !!! We are lovin' it. Watch the 6:00 news, sports on channel 2 tomorrow evening for a plug for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Mark Ibanez stopped us on the street and asked if one of us would pretend to do a speach to the 49ers before the superbowl.. We said OK !! We aren't shy!! And what better way to plug the NBCF !! Yippe
PHOTO: .Rome's famous Trevi Fountain will be restored with the financial backing of Fendi. (Vincenzo Pinto: AFP) MAP: Italy Italian fashion house Fendi has agreed to finance renovations of Rome's iconic Trevi Fountain after the government admitted it could not afford the repairs. The 250-year-old fountain which famously featured in movies including Roman Holiday and La Dolce Vita needs a $3 million revamp. Fendi's creative director Karl Lagerfeld says he did not hesitate to save an iconic piece of Rome. "It's famous in the world," he said. "I think its a great idea and a great project. It's a symbol of Rome like the Colosseum or St Peters and I'm happy that we can all help, and I'm happy to photograph the fountain to make a book about that called The Glory Of Water." The 20-month restoration will clean the fountain, which covers the entire facade of Rome's Palazzo Poli with its allegorical statues of Tritons guiding the shell chariot of the god Oceanus illustrating the theme of the taming of the waters. Following my meeting with David Morris MP I promised to look at road safety measures outside St Peters primary school in Heysham 1/2
If you are walking in a moving train, and someone stationary on the ground is watching, your speed relative to the observer will be the sum of your speed relative to the train and the train's speed relative to the observer. You're in one inertial frame of reference, the train itself (and anyone sitting still on it) are in another, and the observer is in still another. So why do the trains at St Peters station never arrive according to the timetable?
On neuroblastoma Awareness Day, a Family Fun Day will be held at Sydney Park in St Peters, to raise money for research.

An update from one of my Vatican guides - this new cash-only policy at the Vatican seems to be wreaking a bit of havoc: It's chaos here already in the quiet days of late January. Because the Vatican lost their credit card facility, it's cash only for tickets and souvenirs, and no online pre paid bookings! Also they have decided to have a monopoly on those radio headsets that groups use. This means hordes of groups changing radios on the sidewalk outside the museums entrance. And then (if it wasn't crazy enough) St Peters Basilica has decide to have a DIFFERENT monopoly radio supplier from the Vatican Museums! So since Monday groups have had to give back their Vatican radios as they leave the Sistine, and then line up to pick up new radios (and pay again) in order to go into St Peters. Who knows what level of tourism horror will be reached in the pre-Easter high season and the summer!
Busy day with school launch at Prince Charles! And classroom follow up with the intermediates at St Peters. Fun day a head.

Let’s try this again: Our guy, Anthony, that some of you helped out financially a few months ago when he faced his kidney surgery… is going tomorrow morning to St Peters, for his brain surgery, at 730 am. Anthony has Chiari Malformation. His pain and symptoms have progressed to point of his doc pulling him from work back in November. He does have medical insurance through his job- WHICH is great- it covers the catastrophic cost of the surgery itself. Anthony is one of our kids –he’s been in our home and hearts for years as a close friend of Tyler’s. He is 20 years old, has lived on his own since he was 17. He does not have the ability to “go home”, or stay with family. His parents are unable to do anything for him due to their circumstances, they and his sister do help out in every way that they can, but like us, and most parents, separated, together, healthy, unhealthy, they are unable to meet this at financial angle. He is on his own. This is an extensive and high-risk procedure which, ...
Absolutely exhausted after walking to The Vatican, climbing 520 steps to the dome and getting lost coming home. St Peters was jaw-droppingly beautiful. We went for me but Andy was more bowled over by it than me I think! In view of a stroppy text from O2 about my data usage I'm saving most photos until we get back to Blighty but we have got to share these! Christmas is still being celebrated here and this was the Nativity in St Peters. Wow! Just wow!
glad to see the old St Peters sense of humour is still intact!! Lol hotter still!! In fact .. On a par with Nick Knowles!
Day 161 Noss Mayo to Kingston. I was awoke by Hillary at 07:05 to say she'd left a cup of tea outside my tent. It was cold so I stayed in my dossbag while I enjoyed it with my morning *** I then joined Hillary in the house for another brew and to start packing my monkeys, parrots and crab. Hillary made me a fry up and I joined them at the table for breakfast. Afterwards I went outside to collapse my tent and shake the frost off it before rolling it up and packing everything. I had another brew with John and Hillary before saying farewell to another lovely couple I'd met on this journey. I set off at 09:30 and was in no real rush as it was about a ten mile walk to the Erme Estuary where I planned to cross, but couldn't till low tide which wasn't till 14:38. After 5 miles I arrived at Stoke Beach where there was St Peters church which was known as the poor fishermans church. The Sun had his hat on so I sat and enjoyed the view and the quiet before pressing on. Up until then the walk had been fairly easy an ...
I'm having trouble adding photos for some reason. Anyway, we're in Rome. We've been to St Peters and the Vatican museums, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon so far. Paris was great, but difficult. You are pretty much left to your own devices. Rome however is amazing! A beautiful city, and the people are so friendly. The weather is beautiful too. And the Roman driving and parking techniques are a wonder to behold.
4 miles to the Erme estuary which I hopefully can cross at low tide which isn't till 14:38. Sat next to St Peters poor fishermans church in glorious sunshine and it's a million miles from the Potteries up Hanley me duck :)
Have spent the last three days in Rome. Been to the Colloseum, Ceasar's Palace, Pantheon, Vatican Square, Sistine Chapel, St Peters, & Trevi Fountain. Absolute blast seeing all these historical places and the absolute over the top grandeur of the Vatican. Has to be seen to be believed

I'm not usually a moaner on here but on this occasion I'll make an exception , just caught the church warden of St Peters and Pauls church shouting over at my children , what kind of man shouts at young children just because they are flying their wee helicopters inside the fence , I have to add that there was nobody around and we were in a corner not bothering anybody , anyway , I've never seen a 'Roy Cropper' lookalike run so fast when he noticed they weren't on their own !
One of my favorite jokes: A nervous preacher puts martinis in his water pitcher for his first ever sermon. He kept sipping and sipping on them, and thought he preached up one heck of a sermon. After the sermon he asks the senior preacher how he did. You did pretty good except for a few things: 1. There's a taffy pull at St Peters, not a Peter pull at St Taffy's. 2. God is not referred to as the Big G! 3. David slew Goliath. He did not kick the crap out of him. 4. The blessed Virgin Mary is not referred to as the Blessed Babe from Bethlehem. And last but not least, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, are not referred to as Big Daddy, Junior, and the ***

Thank you to the wonderful guests and volunteers who joined us for the 6th annual James Jacobs Christmas Lunch at St Peters church hall in Southport. This pic shows some of the marvellous volunteers who helped us set up the tables on Christmas Eve. Birgit and Julie from the Mental Illness Fellowship of SEQ worked hard to co-ordinate the bookings; a fine team of family and friends helped wrap the 400+ gifts; and many others also gave up their time to ensure that this year there were about 100 people who weren't on their own on the day. And as for the Christmas feast prepared by David, Brian and Margaret See - wow, what a team!
hi Sonja... the dome is St Peters basilica - Rome. The landscape is Preci, Umbria Italy
Time to work off those mince pies! See you at 745am at St Peters. The weather forecast is 18oC and fine. We only had three rainy days down at parkrun this year. One day being St Patricks Day 17th March, plenty of Irish running PB's that day! This is the last parkrun of the year so let's make it a big one.
St Peters basilica is one of the coolest basilicas I've been too.

The 1 in 5 Short Film Project was shot over two 10 hour days at a warehouse location in St Peters on Sat 8th and Sunday 9th December, 2012. In the 360 + sq metre space rented to the production by Photographer, John Rintoul, Production Designer, Andrew (Undi) Lee, set up 8 different locations, 2 exteriors and the 6 interiors. The crew of 17 plus 3 support workers from Rozelle moved in early Saturday morning and worked seamlessly and tirelessly with the 10 principal cast, 6 supporting cast and 10 extras. 6 weekends of story workshops and rehearsals with the principal cast in the lead up to the shoot paid off with scenes shot largely within the scheduled time and performances hitting their marks throughout. 2-camera coverage by DOP, Paul Howard, considerably speeded things up and the resulting 80 Gb of footage will be invaluable in the edit in terms of shot choice and continuity. It was the most harmonious shoot I’ve ever had the pleasure to be involved with. There was so much respect, goodwill, good humou ...

Thank you from Noordhoek Farm Village to all the children and their parents who brought gifts for the children in need at ARISE children’s home last year – the gifts are greatly appreciated. So when you come on Saturday, dont forget a little gift. See you there!

The Papal Basilica of Saint Peter (Latin: Basilica Sancti Petri), officially known in Italian as Basilica Papale di San Pietro in Vaticano and commonly known as Saint Peter's Basilica, is a Late Renaissance church located within the Vatican City.. Saint Peter's Basilica has the largest interior of any Christian church in the world.. While it is neither the official mother church of the Roman Catholic Church nor the cathedral of the Pope as Bishop of Rome, Saint Peter's is regarded as one of the holiest Catholic sites.. It has been described as "holding a unique position in the Christian world" and as "the greatest of all churches of Christendom".. In Roman Catholic tradition, the basilica is the burial site of its namesake Saint Peter, who was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus and, according to tradition, the first Bishop of Rome and therefore first in the line of the papal succession.. Tradition and some historical evidence hold that Saint Peter's tomb is directly below the altar of the basilica.. For ...

The girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because there were so many." The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help." The girl hesitated, then read, "I think the Seven Wonders of the World are: 1. to touch 2. to taste 3. to see 4. to hear She hesitated a little, and then added 5. to feel 6. to laugh 7. and to love The room was so full of silence you could have heard a pin drop.
