We did it. We've conquered NYC. 4 kids and 15 destinations. We did it all in one day. Saw Ground Zero, the memorial and museum, NYSE, Grand Central, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Empire State Building observation deck, St Paul's Chapel, St Patrick's Cathedral, FAO Schwarz, even sat and read books at the NY Public Lobrary. Went to Time Square and even saw Carnegie Hall, Broadway and Wall Street and the Federal Reserve. Ended our great day by renting bikes and riding 3 blocks to Central Park where we looped the entire 584 acre park. Could not have squeezed more in a day if we had to. Great, exhausted times were had by all.
Had one amazing day!!NYC, C3 church, St Patrick's Cathedral, Grand central!! So blessed! all the glory to our almighty Father in Heaven! This is where God wants me! So happy!
Sights in NYC - impressive chandeliers in Grand Central Terminal. There was a promo in Grand Central for the TV shows Homeland (best show on TV) and Dexter (the red velvet cake is drizzled with red syrup to simulate blood). Also photos of the famous St Patrick's cathedral; and also the Roger Smith Hotel where I once stayed, looking a bit run down
A beautiful day in New York City...78 and lite breeze. Great lunch at Nanking. Walked 42nd St, wandered the Apple store at Grand Central Station, stopped by Rockefeller Center and walked through the beautiful St Patrick's Cathedral. Awesome!
We covered so much in such a short length of time...NBC Studio Tour, Top of the Rock Tour, Empire State Building --and New York Skyride -rollacoaster thriller, Radio City Music Hall Stage Door Tour, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, St Patrick's Cathedral, Dead Sea Scrolls, NY Water Taxi Tour, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, saw Intrepid Sea-Air Museum, and today Haley went to Spiderman Turn Off The Dark on Broadway...and of course, Bryant Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central Terminal each day and Times Square -- I am sure I am forgetting something! I am pooped! We had great weather and look forward to posting our photos :)
