It has been 6 months of intense training, more than my body and mind ever thought I could do. 20-30 hours per week training both for my event all while spending quality time with a special group of people that I have come to know very well, the Overweight to Endurance Athlete Running and Personal Training group every weekend. Tomorrow morning I leave to start the journey to completing my first 140.6 mile Ironman event at Ironman St. George. I appreciate all the support I have gotten and while I don't apologize to those that feel I have been distant, I can promise you that after May 7th I will once again have my life back and enjoy those around me! I will hopefully become the less than 1/10th of 1% of the world population that have completed an Ironman event!
