This is exactly what happened and I do not hear the pro communist Obama even reprimanding these *** in the SA government. Why? South African Liberation: The Communist Factor By Thomas G. Karis FROM OUR WINTER 1986/87 ISSUE In a free election in South Africa, the now-outlawed African National Congress could possibly win three-fourths of the black vote as well as some white votes. No such election is in sight, but the popularity of the ANC poses a challenge for U.S. policy. Since one of the ANC’s allies is the pro-Soviet South African Communist Party, there is apprehension that the Communist Party dominates or controls the ANC. This issue has become so contentious that the October 1986 U.S. Anti-Apartheid Act, which imposes sanctions on South Africa, also directs the president to report to Congress about "the extent to which com .. ...

South African Communist Party, Central Committee, 14 September 2014 Oscar Pistorius case The SACP has noted the attention paid nationally and internationally to the Oscar Pistorius case. It would not be correct for us to discuss the details of the case, or the merits and demerits of the verdict. Nevertheless the SACP wishes to make the following observations. There is a dangerous love of firearms in South Africa, more particularly, though by no means exclusively, in the white community. This is linked to our country’s violent and apartheid past, and its class structure. It is very clear that the individual ownership of firearms, ostensibly for the protection of families against thugs and intruders, rarely leads to the shooting of an intruder but frequently leads to a shooting within the family. This may happen in the heat of an argument between partners, through a child obtaining access to a firearm, showing it to his friends or even taking it to school, and the weapon being discharged through various o ...

Investigate Malaysian Airlines MH-17 crash, bring about justice! Stop Israel’s massacre of Palestinians, end colonisation! Monday, 21 July 2014 The South African Communist Party expresses its deepest condolences to the families, relatives and friends for the loss of loved ones when a Malaysia Airlines Flight MH-17 Boeing 777 airliner crashed in Eastern Ukraine on Thursday, killing 295 people on board. The victims are reported to include 193 Dutch including one dual Netherlands-US citizen, 43 Malaysians including 15 crew members and 2 children, 27 Australians, 12 Indonesians including 1 infant, 10 Britons including 1 dual UK-South Africa citizen, 4 Germans, 4 Belgians, 3 Filipinos, 1 Canadian and 1 New Zealander, according to the full flight manifest reported in the media to have been released by Malaysia Airlines on Saturday. If the Economic Freedom Fighters become very strong to an extend that it becomes a government in waiting, I'm telling you, the Ashkenazi Jewish-Anglo Connection will betray the Boers (the so-called "Afrikaners") and will also cut off their secret network with the ANC... Bear in mind that after the Anglo-Boer Wars, there was a secret deal between the Ashkenazi Jewish-Anglo Connection and Boers that resulted in our land and wealth being splat into two: The Boers got the farming land, whilst the Ashkenazi Jewish-Connection got the coroprate sector and the finance and banking sector... When the ANC adopted the PAN AFRIKANIST AGENDA in 1944, mostly advocated by Anton Muziwakhe Lembede, the Ashkenazi Jews, led by the Rothschilds family, were unhappy, as a result they devised a plan that the ANC should be hijacked under the guise of communism. The Ashkenazi Jews pushed the South African Communist Party to form an aliance with the ANC. It is this alliance that diluted the ANC, and made it (the ANC) to betray the ...
The most important of these factors is its longstanding and increasingly fragile tri-partite alliance with the South African Communist Party (SACP) and South Africa's largest trade union federation COSATU. In addition, the ANC is facing a downward spiral into endemic corruption, the dark spectre of organised crime, unresolved kickbacks from the arms deal, political debts to the oligarchs of Black Economic Empowerment policies, and increasing resistance from civil society.

The problems facing COSATU currently can't be resolved in a Congress or Special Congress. I have not seen congress managing to resolve serious problems confronting any organisation in the world. The problems at COSATU necessitate a need of political process led by Vanguard Party which is in South African case, the South African Communist Party (SACP).
The South African Communist Party was formed in 1921, one of the very earliest Communist parties formed outside the former Soviet Union.

The ANC (African National Congress) is the party of Nelson Mandela is the government, and alliance of the SACP.(South African Communist Party) The Employment Equity Commission (EEC) manipulates statistics and with poor and wrong data sketches a misleading picture of the South African workplace to keep affirmative action alive indefinitely, adv. Anton Alberts, the FF Plus’ parliamentary spokesperson on the economy says. He says it is especially tragic that the country’s official opposition, the DA, had supported the government to create laws which will apparently be discriminating against the Afrikaner and other minorities indefinitely. According to Adv. Anton Alberts, the EEC’s recent fourteenth annual report had once again drawn sharp criticism from various corners about a variety of aspects – from the political ...

Change is you — change your vote. Update about EFF leader..Like Nelson Mandela, Malema rose through the ANC’s Youth League, challenging the status quo and winning fans. The son of a poor single mother, he grew up in a segregated black township in the northern Limpopo province, joining the ANC at age 10 . As the story goes, he jumped on a bus to Johannesburg when he was 12 , following the 1993 assassination of South African Communist Party leader Chris Hani, because he expected civil war and wanted to be there for the fight.

Inspired by Alan Wieder's wonderful volume on Ruth First and Joe Slovo (Monthly Review Press, 2013), I'm doing research related to the strategic use of non-violence and violence in the anti-apartheid struggle and the remarkable role of the South African Communist Party in that struggle (its membership strongly overlapped with the ANC). I thought I'd share this delightful snippet from Padraig O'Malley's Shades of Difference: Mac Maharaj and the Struggle for South Africa (Penguin Books, 2008): The brilliant anti-apartheid activist, Sathyandranath Ragunanan “Mac” Maharaj,* speaks about his time in London in the early 1960s (‘a very cosmopolitan environment’), a period when he was attending the London School of Economics and an active member of the British Communist Party (BCP): “In the International Affairs Committee of the party and the Africa Committee, I met and worked with people such as Jack Woddis, Idris Cox, and, the chairman of the International Committee, Palme Dutt. SACPblackStar.jpg 13 January 2013 SACP calls for a full blown investigation into the rentals, housing and property markets The South African Communist Party (SACP) commends the City Press (Sunday, 12 January 2014) for its investigative report and lead story exposing persistent racism and racist practices in the property rentals market. The story was prompted by one of its black journalists being ‘told he couldn’t rent a house in Pretoria because he was non-white’. This sums up the results of, as it were, a short survey on racism in the sector, something that incidentally is well known especially among young black professionals entering the labour market. The SACP therefore calls upon government, especially led by the Department of Human Settlements, together with the National Consumer Commission and the Department of Public Works, to undertake a comprehensive investigation into racist and other discriminatory practices in the property, rentals and housing markets. These racist practices as revealed ...

Programme of the South African Communist Party 1962 The road to South African Freedom Colonialism of a Special Type The White ruling classes, and especially the leaders of the Nationalist Party have manufactured a version of the past and present of this country which they systematically attempt to impose everywhere, from the schoolroom to international opinion. According to this picture, the early White settlers penetrated peacefully into a virtually unoccupied country. The African population, who are depicted as savage barbarians without culture, achievements or history, are represented as relative newcomers who entered the country at about the same time as the Whites, and conducted aggressive wars and raids against them. The impression is given that African occupation was always more or less confined to the present Reserves — the “Bantu Homelands.” This version of South Africa’s past is entirely false. From the time of the first White settlement, established by the Dutch East India Company 300 y ...
South African Communist Party, 22 December 2013 Year-end message The SACP takes this opportunity to wish all South Africans, particularly the workers and poor of our country, a peaceful rest as 2013 comes to an end and gives way to the New Year, 2014. Without workers labour the production of goods and services will grind to a halt and the economy will evaporate into thin air. The year 2013 has seen a number of national and international developments. Our alliance lost one of its outstanding true revolutionaries, comrade Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, who was laid to rest on 15 December, a day before the 52nd anniversary of the founding of Umkhonto we Sizwe, of which he was the first Commander in Chief. The SACP will honour the legacy of this gallant revolutionary, Tata Madiba, who always insisted that he was part of a collective and his contribution in our struggle should not be elevated above or seen outside that collective our national liberation movement as led by African National Congress (ANC). South African Communist Party, 19 December 2013 Nkandla Report The SACP welcomes the release to the public of the report of the Government Task Team assigned to investigate matters relating to installation of security measures at the Nkandla residence of President Jacob Zuma. We also welcome the statement made in contextualising the report and the explanations given. The SACP will of course comment further once we have studied the report in detail. The SACP particularly welcomes three aspects contained in the statement and the report. Firstly we welcome the fact that no state money was spent in constructing any part of the homestead of President Zuma. Secondly, we welcome the affirmation that the security of the President is non-negotiable, that the state is obliged to provide security to sitting and past heads of state as well as former Deputy Presidents; and that such security is the sole responsibility of the Security Cluster in government. We also welcome the fact that none of the installations at Nka ...

Here we have an outstanding veteran of our struggle who has guided our movement as a whole for many decades. I am very glad to see him here. I hope, Comrade Charles, I have negotiated successfully for the provision of a cake to celebrate Comrade Brian’s birthday. The other reason I came is that I have a problem with the ANC. HOW CHICKENS HAVE COME HOME TO ROOST The Inkatha Freedom Party's Youth Brigade yesterday sprang to the defence of President Thabo Mbeki and attacked the ANC deputy President Jacob Zuma. The brigade was livid that Mbeki was booed and his speech disrupted at the reburial service of former South African Communist Party leader Moses Mabhida in Pietermaritzburg on Saturday.A group of people walked out of the stadium as Mbeki took to the podium to pay his respects to Mabhida. The ANC has not officially identified the group but there is speculation that it consisted of Zuma supporters. When the booing broke out Zuma appealed for order. The hostile reception for Mbeki in Pietermaritzburg follows similar treatment when he hosted the prime minister of India, Manmohan Singh. The national chairman of the IFP Youth Brigade, Thulasizwe Buthelezi, said in Johannesburg yesterday that his organisation was concerned about the "anarchy propagated by Zuma supporters against Mbeki"."The office of the president should be protected ...
Last time, because hey are laying Mandela to rest 1) yes, he made allies with the South African Communist Party, the white apartheid government wasn't going to share power on its own. 2) He went to prison in 1962. As horrible as necklacing was, he wasn't doing it 3) When he got out, he was president for five years, did not seek vengeance on whites, and stepped down voluntarily. Perfect, no, but tough times and an evil regime forced tough choices. Now, Winnie Mandela, she *was* violent, but a different story.
Recognising that peaceful protest does not always work, he co-founded the militant Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) in 1961 in association with the South African Communist Party, leading a sabotage campaign against the apartheid government. There are probably omissions and errors, due to censorship during the apartheid era and other difficulties in collecting information of this nature. 1960s Details are not available, but it is estimated that the MK High Command co-ordinated over 190 acts of sabotage between October 1961 and July 1963. Ok, I'm probably going to get shot down in flames, but can't not share my opinions any longer! 1. Why the shock at Mandelas death? He was 95 and on life support! 2. He is now St. Mandela! Was he not in prison for murder, the bombing of innocent white people (including the young children who died in these bombings), and high treason??? 3. Because of the "good" that he did in his later yrs, it is easy to forget the reason why he was actually in prison! 4. The media etc. keep saying how astounding it is that he wasn't bitter after yrs in prison??? *** he deserved to be there! He committed a crime! 5. According to the press today! He was a founding member of the South African Communist Party! 6. In South Africa, we seem to think that we desperately need an icon to somehow legitimize our existence, and because the world decided that Mandela was THE ONE, we went along for the ride! Western leaders saw Mandela and his “African National Congress” in a very different light. “The ANC is a typical terrorist organization,” explained former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. U.S. President Ronald Reagan put Mandela and the ANC on the American terrorist list in the 1980s. Indeed, outside of open support from ruthless communist dictatorships — the tyrants ruling over Cuba, East Germany, and the Soviet Union, for example — Mandela’s ANC and its South African Communist Party partners were widely viewed as ruthless communist terrorists. Considering their murderous activities, which included the barbaric executions and torture of countless South African blacks who opposed them, it is easy to understand why. With help from elements of the Western establishment and the media, however, all of that gradually changed. Widely adored in South Africa and around the world, today Mandela is almost universally portrayed as a peaceful hero who struggled to bring down the white-led Apart ...
Mandela was not honest with the public about his deep involvement with communism, including membership in the South African Communist Party. Then, again, Obama was never honest with the American people about his mentor, Communist Party operative Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Soviet espionage apparatus in Hawaii.
In terms of Mandela's death, I feel the real question is if the ANC and South African Communist Party had not limited (aborted) the revolution to the democratic stage and actually taken on capitalism and the bourgeois state could it have succeeded or would it have led to a civil war that could not be won? I think it could have succeeded if the black masses had been given power in all aspects of their life and a real root and branch grass-roots democracy had been established. But for this to have worked it would have absolutely needed the concentration on reconciliation, forgiveness and multiracial unity that Mandela articulated so well. Of course the state would have fought but the anti-apartheid movement had already shown that even a state armed to the hilt could be defeated by a mass movement. To honour the memories of those times we should take forward that struggle NOW
In light of the following information and history ...it shocks me the people who are praising and honoring this man Nelson Mandela...I am not saying he didnt do good for the african people in one area ...Does the following inormation not cause us to pause and reconsider honoring someone who has caused the .freedom of women to do with their own bodies what they want as he has been quoted saying. but at the detriment of who knows how many thousands or millions o Black African babies that were slaughtered or will be slaughtered thanks to his horrific views and policies that brought freedom to women and death to the unborn...Please become informed. In 1996, Mandela signed into law the Choice on Termination of Pregnancy Bill, which permits abortion on demand. The ANC has for decades been in a close political and electoral alliance with the South African Communist Party (SACP) (Mr Mandela pictured with SACP leader Joe Slovo) which also has a strong ideological committment to abortion.

Salute,I think its abt time ZANC to forget abt the alliance btn Cosatu cos it does nothing for Cosatu, the resolution of Cosatu is a problem to ANC,let me share with u:Supporters of suspended Cosatu General Secretary Zwelinzima Vavi are planning to push for the removal of the union federation's three top leaders at a special congress expected to take place before the end of the year. The leaders in question are Cosatu president Sdumo Dlamini; Vavi's deputy, Bheki Ntshalintshali; and Cosatu's second Deputy President, Zingiswa Losi. They are seen by the pro-Vavi faction as lackeys of ANC leaders such as President Jacob Zuma, ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe and ANC National Executive Committee member and South African Communist Party (SACP) General Secretary Blade Nzimande. Ntshalintshali confirmed on Thursday at a press briefing after Cosatu's central executive committee (CEC) meeting this week that nine Cosatu unions have written letters to the federation requesting a special congress. PRESERVE THEIR LEGACY By Buti Manamela YCLSA pledges to be like him, to keep his legacy and encourage the 'born-frees' to continue to fight for the freedoms that he fought for, some of which are still yet to be seen. There are monuments built in his name and others named after him, such as one of the biggest hospital on the continent and - if his family and the South African Communist Party have their way - Cape Town International Airport will be graced with his statue and name. But, as we do so, is this enough? The centre of Maputo is graced with the statue of Samora Machel, their hero and liberator. But when I asked our Portuguese interpreter to ask a homeless man leaning on Machel's statue if he knew who this person was, he grudgingly replied with a "yes". He then asked what was the use of him knowing who Machel was if he (the homeless man) still begged for food, shelter and dignity. The statue of Lenin fell in Belarus in the 1990s when Mikhail Gorbachev proclaimed glasnost (killing a 21-year-old man i ...

No-Bama flyer Jun. 26 (GIN) – Although the image of a Black president in the United States still thrills many people worldwide, his absence from Africa has eroded some of the good will he once enjoyed.   “Obama should not expect red-carpet treatment from all South Africans, despite the historic affinity between the civil rights and anti-apartheid movements,” observed Afua Hirsch in Ghana, writing for The Guardian newspaper. “Workers, students and Muslim groups are among those determined to give Obama a bumpy landing when he descends on Africa's biggest economy.”   Cosatu, South Africa’s major trade union group with over 2 million members, and the South African Communist Party have called on all workers to join mass protests including a march on the U.S. embassy against "NObama."   Academics and students say they will boycott the University of Johannesburg's award of an honorary law doctorate to Obama. The Muslim Lawyers' Association has called for the president to be arrested as a war crimi ...

South African Communist Party 1976The Enemy Hidden Under the Same Colour Source: statement by the Central Committee of the SACP on the activities of the ‘Gang of 8’, The African Communist, Second Quarter, 1976. Transcribed: by Dominic Tweedie. ‘The other face is that of the indirect and secondary enemy, who presents himself under the cover of a nationalist and even as a revolutionary thus making it difficult to identify him... THE FIGHTER MUST DISTINGUISH FRIEND FROM FOE EVEN IF THE LATTER IS CONCEALED UNDER THE SAME COLOUR, LANGUAGE, FAMILY TIES OR TRIBAL MARKINGS AS THEIR OWN, EVEN IF HE RAISES HIS FLAG WITH US’. — President Samora Machel South Africa’s press has given a great deal of space to anti-Communist, anti-ANC and racist propaganda with which it has been fed by the group of eight who were recently expelled from the ANC for persistently betraying its political and organisational principles. For the enemy this group’s campaign against the people’s struggle could not have come at ...

Obama's Trip to South Africa and Chomsky on American Power By Fazila Farouk · 26 Jun 2013 12 A+A=A- 2 Picture credit: Noam Chomsky moments before delivering a keynote address at the Deutsche Welle's Global Media Forum in Bonn, Germany on 17 June 2013, courtesy Fazila Farouk. United States (US) President, Barack Obama’s trip to South Africa is a contentious issue that has animated media reporting and provided the necessary ammunition to fire up a debate that pits left against right. On the one hand, we have the South African Communist Party, Cosatu and some of its affiliates, as well as student and Muslim organisations demanding answers from the US president for a foreign policy agenda that keeps the world trapped in a state of paranoid fear, while on the other, we have people applauding the American president, even wanting to bestow academic honours on him for excellence in his field of qualification: law. Upholding the law or adhering to principles of the American Constitution is not something one can ...
The future of white South Africans The world’s most prominent expert on genocide, President Dr. Gregory Stanton of Genocide Watch, already warned last year that the Afrikaner population could be on the verge of a government-linked extermination campaign. During a fact-finding mission to South Africa, Stanton, who helped fight against apartheid, found evidence implicating the ruling African National Congress (ANC)-South African Communist Party (SACP) government in a plot to eradicate whites as part of a scheme to foist Marxist tyranny on the nation. In fact, after the investigation, WND reported that Genocide Watch raised its alert level on South Africa to stage 6 out of 8 – the planning and preparation phase of the extermination process. South African President Jacob Zuma routinely sings racist songs calling for the murder of whites. Through a controversial program known as Black Economic Empowerment (BEE), the government has instituted a race-based employment regime specifically targeting whites. “ ...
Obama in South Africa : The ANC refused a request by Lindiwe Mazibuko, the parliamentary leader of the opposition, the Democratic Alliance, to call Parliament from its mid-year recess to allow Obama to address the National Assembly. “The rebuff reflects in part the strong opposition to American foreign policy from within the ANC’s ranks and those of its alliance partners. Trade union federation Cosatu will participate in a protest against Obama’s visit on Friday in Pretoria. “Cosatu joins the millions of people and workers the world over, particularly on the African continent and in South Africa, who are outraged at the horrifying record of US foreign policy in the world,” the trade union federation said, as it called on its members to join the protests against Obama’s foreign policy during his visit. The South African Communist Party, another of the ANC’s alliance partners, will join the march to the US Embassy on Friday to present a memorandum of demands “calling for the urgent release o ...
numsa never cease to quench our thirst of having consistent ideologically steadfast and autonomous weapon of the working class: Our view is that it is not the job of the federation, the General Secretary of the federation or any of its affiliates to be liked by the ANC or the South African Communist Party. Our primary job is to represent the agreed policies of the federation. The test is whether we have done that, not whether we have displeased independent organisations with whom we are in an alliance. We also reject [the] allegation of political rupture, that we seek to turn Cosatu into a political party. Cosatu and its affiliates do not organise workers on the basis of their political affiliations. It is disingenuous to suggest that if the ANC or SACP are not happy with the General Secretary speaking on behalf of workers, there is a rupture. The yardstick is whether the General Secretary of Cosatu or any leader or affiliate deviates from Cosatu resolutions or not. Our primary task is to take forward the ...

South African Communist Party, 3 March 2013SACP Central Committee Press StatementThe SACP Central Committee met in Johannesburg in its first plenary session for 2013 over the weekend of 1–3 March. The CC analysed, amongst other things, the current state of our ANC-led alliance, and the offensive against the trade union movement and our hard-won collective bargaining dispensation. We also discussed the scourge of violence and particularly gendered based violence in our society. The CC congratulated our alliance partner, the ANC, for a highly successful 53rd National Conference in Mangaung in December. Despite dire warnings in parts of the commercial media, and active disruptive activities in the months before, the Conference marked an important step forward in the on-going process of unifying and revitalising the ANC around the task of leading a radical second phase of our democratic transition. It is important that these advances are now consolidated in practice.Amongst other things, the SACP particularl ...
