Tons of sci-fi/geek references a plenty. Jason Bateman and Kristin Wiig steal this movie, esp. when Wiig's character starts swearing for the first time. Last night, I had re-watched 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol' on cable television. I consider it to be the best of the quartet, in terms of a solid story plot, stunning action sequences, exotic locations, witty dialogue, and best of all, it had Tom Cruise in the principal lead again as super IMF agent Ethan Hunt, as well as playing his own death-defying stunts. In a nut shell, the US President had initiated the unprecedented Ghost Protocol, and the entire IMF was disbanded, following a bombing at the Kremlin, which unwittingly put them in a dilemma, as they were framed as the masterminds, and worst still, they were also branded by both countries as ''extreme terrorists''. Left to their own personal devices, they had to scrounge for whatever resources within immediate grasp to help find the culprits, settle the score, an ...
