As a Gun owner and a daily carrier of at least 1 side arm I am 100% for gun control. Personally I do not understand how obtuse someone has to be to equate "gun control" and "dis-arming" citizens as being one in the same. The two have nothing to do with each other. As a person that carries I would prefer that only responsible citizens carry and if that means registering and licensing a weapon yearly then so be it. (I think Guns should be licensed, registered and inspected yearly just like cars.) If it means no more High Capacity cartridges for AR's, Mac's, Uzzi's then I am cool with that especially if I encounter a deranged person with one. I won't hesitate to take them out, umm, while they are re-loading since that would be the optimal time. But back on topic. Nobody is or has put forth any legislation to dis-arm American citizens. Nor "take-away" our 2nd Amendment rights. People who can not understand this probably do not have the mental capacity that should be required to carry a weapon in the 1st place ...
