WOW!!! I just woke up to the most amazing dream and I had to tell someone before I forgot and everyone here is asleep so anyway I was auditioning for Saturday night live and crazy stuff was going on like Maya Rudolph was licking and chopping and snorting a brick sized cherry pez which was supposed to be the missing piece to this life sized unicorn puzzle and there was a machine that turned each of us into a different robot dance move when it would shoot us with its laser beam and David Duchovny was the host and he helped me improv and Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch and Horatio Sans and Fred armisen all laughed and thought I was hilarious and I was I nailed it!!! It was improv and I nailed it! I even made Seth Myers break character and even though someone tried to sabotage me at the very beginning of the audition, I still pulled through and was better than I thought I could be... Sorry for the lack of punctuation, capitalization and the use of run on sentences but I had to get it out. I haven't woken up thi ...

Story to share of my first SNL experience on January 20, 2001 (fittingly 13 years ago today) : Friday night (01.19.01) I approached NBC Studios with all of my gear in hand (overnight bags, fold-out chairs, etc.). I saw 2 people standing at a desk, with one of them sitting on a stool. I asked them what they were waiting for and they both answered "Saturday Night Live tickets". It just so happened to be the infamous Louis Klein, a stand-by for SNL since October 11, 1975! This was going to be his 496th stand-by attempt! He told me he has attended 417 out of 495 shows! He greeted me and I made myself comfortable. I found out that I was stand-by number 4! I talked with Louis & his fiance. Jamie for the next half an hour about where I was from, my website and about him & his fiancé. At around 6pm, I had been hungry from my bus ride and so I went around the corner to the Variety Deli. I had a bite to eat and then planned out what I was going to do with my time over the next couple of hours. I clearly realized I ...

WIIG SAYS GOODBYE TO SNL! As expected, Kristen Wiig has decided to leave Saturday Night Live after seven seasons, and got quite the sendoff during Saturday’s season finale. During the last sketch of the evening, host *** Jagger introduced a group of high school graduates, and then singled out Wiig, saying "You've meant quite a lot to us over the last seven years -- she got held back! -- so our music department got together and prepared a song to say goodbye." Then as Arcade Fire began singing, “She’s A Rainbow,” a teary-eyed Wiig shared a dance with all her cast members, with the final dance reserved for show creator Lorne Michaels. Then the band, and the cast, broke into “Ruby Tuesday,” with former cast members Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch and Chris Kattan all joining in to say their goodbyes to the Bridesmaids star.
