I may never be on Saturday Night Live...but tonight only, you might be able to see me in a sketch with SNL cast members, Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis on LATE NIGHT WITH Seth Meyers. I hope my mug made it!
Jason Sudeikis has said farewell to Saturday Night Live, but he isn't done being funny on NBC's airwaves. Social Media Latest: 'SNL' Is Reclaiming Its Turf via Social Media — Just in Time: If we take online comments as a scaled down version of the world at large, it's clear that 2014 global society is divided on three main topics: religion, climate change and which cast of Saturday Night Live was the best. As it stands, SNL has muscled through its 39th season amidst heavy criticism surrounding both a lack of cast diversity and a sketch model that, at times, seems to ignore contemporary culture. As clutch cast members Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen, along with writer John Mulaney, departed before the season's start, the obvious question was whether or not a largely young and inexperienced cast could carry the show to new heights Read more...More about Entertainment, Tv, Television, Social Media, and Features

This weekend, Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudeikis and his fiancée, the pregnant Olivia Wilde, were in Kansas City. And, when in Kansas, he did as the Kansans do: He sang karaoke. (This may or not be a particularly Midwestern pastime, but at least Sudeikis originally hails from Overland Park.)
Saturday Night Live without Bill Hader and Jason Sudeikis is like a pizza without toppings.
So I watched Saturday Night Live and it wasn't so funny. I miss the old cast, especially Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis, and Andy Samberg. This new cast isn't funny enough for SNL.Kristen Wiig was hilarious as well. Why did they have to leave? SNL is not the same.

SNL is Back – Can the Show Survive Its All-Star Exodus? Season 39 of Saturday Night Live kicks off tomorrow, and everyone is wondering how the six new cast members are going to do. They’ve got big shoes to fill: SNL vets Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, and Jason Sudeikis all moved on after last season. Most of the new cast members are relatively unknown, but you might recognize Beck Bennett from these AT&T commercials. It will also be interesting to see how “Weekend Update” works with two hosts. Seth Meyers will share hosting duties with second-year cast member Cecily Strong (aka the Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation With at a Party) at least until he leaves for Late Night in February. Get excited for tomorrow’s premiere with Tina Fey’s promo clip, and make sure to watch some skits from our old favorites.
NBC Officially Announces Six New 'SNL' Cast Members NBC officially announced the addition of six new featured players to Saturday Night Live on Monday -- Beck Bennett (from those AT&T "It's Not Complicated" commercials), John Milhiser, Kyle Mooney, Mike O'Brien, Noel Wells and Brooks Wheelan. The longrunning sketch show also announced that second-year player Cecily Strong will be the next to helm the "Weekend Update" desk, replacing Seth Meyers. Why This Matters: With the departures of show stalwarts Jason Sudeikis, Fred Armisen and Bill Hader (not to mention Seth Meyers at midseason when he starts his Late Night gig), the longrunning late-night sketch series is undergoing another big makeover. 3 Takes: B&C | THR | Variety

Fred Armisen Won't Return to 'Saturday Night Live' Fred Armisen's time on Saturday Night Live has come to an end. After an 11-year run, the comedian will not be returning to NBC's long-running late-night sketch series, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The funnyman's future with SNL was left in limbo following the May 18 season finale in which the final sketch featured Bill Hader, Armisen, Jason Sudeikis and Taran Killam playing a British rock band saying their goodbyes on the final night of a tour. Armisen's Portlandia co-star, Carrie Brownstein, was among the musicians who joined the group onstage. NBC declined comment on Armisen's departure, but the actor confirmed his exit in an interview with Splitsider. "I think it's clear. I didn't do any kind of official announcement, but I really felt like it was obvious," he told the site. "An ending that was a love letter to all the music I grew up with, and also to my friends and to SNL and to Lorne and to the cast. There was a lot of emotion attached to i ...
For a while, it has seemed like the writing was on the wall for Fred Armisen and NBC's 'Saturday Night Live.' So I decided to disconnect from Los Angeles yesterday & roll up the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) to Malibu with a friend. On the way back from the beach I said "Hey, let's swing by The Malibu Inn, they usually have cool Live Music". Band was called "Chevy Metal" (I think) & on drums is Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters & then Saturday Night Live's Jason Sudeikis took the mic to cover a Beatles tune. My friend runs into "13" from house (Olivia Wilde) & let's just say it was a pretty cool component to a great weekend overall. The left coast is so wacky :-)
Oh man Saturday Night Live just won't be the same without Fred Armisen, Bill Hader and Seth Meyers. And now there are rumors that Jason Sudeikis and Nasim Pedrad are leaving too. If they leave, it'll be so much worse than it already is.

Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, and Jason Sudeikis closed out their final episode of Saturday Night Live with a truly touching performance of an original punk-rock ballad It's A Lovely Day, featuring a slew of legendary indie-rock friends of the show.
The End of another Era! Fred Armisen, BillHader and Jason Sudeikis killed it on their farewell to Saturday Night Live! Although no one can compare to the "originals", I will give them their credit. "Stephon" will be missed!

The cast of "Saturday Night Live" could be on the verge of even more turnover. According to a report in The New York Post, Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis are both likely to leave "SNL" after the end of this season.
Saturday Night Live is reportedly losing two more key players: Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis. Will you miss them?
Looks like there may be some massive cast changes at Saturday Night Live this fall; Seth Myers is leaving to take over Late Night, Bill Hader confirmed this week that he is leaving as well, and now come reports from the NY Post that Fred Armisen is 100% done and that Jason Sudeikis is likely out the door, too. Myers is not actually leaving until the end of 2013, so he'll start the year with the show and then leave to get ready for his February debut on Late Night.
On Thursday, things began looking a bit grimmer for Saturday Night Live . After losing several cast members at the end of last season, cast members Taran Killam, Jay Pharoah, and Vanessa Bayer stepped up to fill in the gaps. Next season, the newbies might have to work to build an entirely new show,…
Well that *** If Fred and Jason leave too, there will be nothing to make that show watchable anymore. Bill Hader is leaving "Saturday Night Live" after eight seasons. He tells the "New York Times", quote, "It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point. It got to a point where I said, 'Maybe it's just time to go.'" Bill may not be the only one who's leaving. Fred Armisen and JASON SUDEIKIS are not sure they want to do another season either. "SNL" boss Lorne Michaels says they're still, quote, "making their decisions." Of course, Seth Meyers is also leaving to take over for Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night" next February . . . but he's staying on "SNL" through this fall.
Say it ain't so, Stefon! But it is. Bill Hader is leaving Saturday Night Live.
Bill Hader to leave Saturday Night Live after this Saturday's season finale! Seth Myers to leave next year to take over hosting Late Night. 50/50 that Fred Armisen & Jason Sudeikis will leave as well. Bottom Line: No more Stefon!! Bummer!!
The futures of Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis are also up in the air as "SNL" breaks for the summer before Season 39. But one other departure is certain: Seth Meyers. Meyers will leave "Saturday Night Live" and take over as "Late Night" host when Jimmy Fallon move to "The Tonight Show," replacing Jay Leno. However, Meyers will stay with "SNL" through the fall before he takes over "Late Night."

Inglorious *** and Django Unchained Oscar nominee and award winning actor, Christoph Waltz hosted Saturday Night Live on February 16, 2013, with musical guest Alabama Shakes, no relation to the new viral web sensation, the Harlem Shake, of course. Jason Sudeikis led the hilarious opening monologue, referencing this past week's doomed Carnival Triumph debacle. Despite the dire conditions onboard, Carnival Triumph crew members put on a memorable, but equally horrible show and entertainment for its guests. As a mockery of Waltz's movies, SNL created a clever digital short, entitled, "Djesus Uncrossed." During Seth Meyers' Weekend News Update segment, Taran Killam mocked Florida Senator Marco Rubio's now infamous sip of water, in response to President Barack Obama's annual State of the Union address. If that weren't enough, Meyers scored an exclusive interview with a local Russian resident, reflecting on the meteor that fell in Western Russia, as an explosion was seen traveling across the clear, night sk ...

In this sketch performed at Saturday's dress rehearsal but which was ultimately cut from the show, "Saturday Night Live" spoofed the contentious confirmation hearings for President Obama's nominee for secretary of defense, Chuck Hagel (played here by Jason Sudeikis). Glad to see Obama get four more years. The only thing that upsets me about Mitt Romney losing is that Jason Sudeikis won't play the President on Saturday Night Live.
"In the next few hours we will learn the outcome of one of the biggest collective decisions we as a country will make for the next four years: whether Jay Pharoah or Jason Sudeikis will portray our president on Saturday Night Live." Willem Tax . Funny stuff my man!
Another important point about tonight's election: Jason Sudeikis is a much better Saturday Night Live cast member than Jay Pharaoh.
I'm voting for Ross Perot and James Stockdale...or maybe Bob Dole & Jack Kemp. lol jkz. Remember back in the 90's when Saturday Night Live was actually constantly funny and they always had Darrell Hammond impersonate Bill Clinton, Norm Macdonald as Bob Dole, and Cheri Oteri as Ross Perot and they would square every week on SNL? lol. Norm Macdonald's Bob Dole was so hilarious. Jason Sudeikis did a very good on impersonating Mitt Romney, but it has nothing on Norm Macdonald's Bob Dole or Darrell Hammond's Bill Clinton. Dana Carvey's impersonation of the 1st Bush president was awesome too.
Appearing during the Weekend Update segment of this week's Saturday Night Live, Jason Sudeikis' Mitt Romney made his final pitch to voters -- imploring Americans to remember that he still actually exists and that nothing he has said in the past is any indication of how he'd actually govern.
Vice President Joe Biden, famously a Scranton native, was parodied on Saturday Night Live by actor Jason Sudeikis calling it “the single worst place on Earth.” Real stores sell T-shirts and bumper stickers for Dunder-Mifflin, the fictional paper company featured inThe OfficeTV show.
Last week, when I was eating lunch at a restaurant, an older lady approached me and told me that I am just like some guy from Saturday Night Live - I think she said Jason. I have never watched SNL so I don't know about any Jason from that show, but it seems that there is some Jason Sudeikis in that show.

Both sides of the political spectrum must acknowledge a significant downside to Obama winning re-election -- We would have to put up with 4 more years of Jay Pharoah's terrible impersonation on Saturday Night Live (and would miss 4 years of Jason Sudeikis' hilarious impersonation of Mitt Romney).

The sad thing is that the only thing I'm looking forward to after tonight's debate is how Saturday Night Live is going to make a mockery of it this weekend. Jason Sudeikis does an excellent Biden. I'll be tuning in.
I don't know which I am looking forward to more: Vice-President Joe Biden's performance in a national debate or Jason Sudeikis's inevitable version on Saturday Night Live.

I could not stay up for Saturday Night Live this weekend, but just saw the skit that spoofs the debate - and HOWLED. Jay Pharoah is OK as Obama, I thought Fred Armisen was better (but he really cracks me up in general). Jason Sudeikis was perfect as Romney. If you have not seen it, the basic implication was Obama did so poorly because he forgot to buy Michelle a 20th anniversary gift - and, of course, the Denver altitude...
Last week's presidential debate provided plenty of fodder for "Saturday Night Live," which devoted two sketches and the bulk of its "Weekend Update" segment to skewering the event. On the cold-open, former cast member Chris Parnell returned to "SNL" to play moderator Jim Lehrer, who was steamrolled by Mitt Romney despite the Republican nominee's forewarning. "Jim, when it comes to jobs President Obama prefers what I call a trickle-down government solution," Romney, played by Jason Sudeikis, said. "Now my plan is different. It involves 41 basic elements, six abrupt reversals of position and three outright lies."
I'd like to thank tonight's presidential debate for all the new material put in place for Saturday Night Live. I'm sure Jason Sudeikis and Jay Pharoah are looking forward to playing Romney and Obama this coming weekend.

One of the few things that American voters can look forward to during a very ugly campaign season: Jason Sudeikis will continue his Mitt Romney act on “Saturday Night Live.”
Jason Sudeikis left today to finish filming in New Mexico. So, our excitement is over for a while. He said it was his 3rd stay on Wrightsville Beach, and would be back. He stayed first time downtown, and next film he stayed at Bllockade Runner, and this time has been here filming for 40 days. Oliva Wilde left last weekend with Poco, and he leaves today.
