Super Bowl XLVII The game marked the first Super Bowl in which both of the teams had appeared in, but not yet lost, a previous Super Bowl: the 49ers had won all five of their previous Super Bowls while the Ravens won in their only previous Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl XXXV against the New York Giants. On winning, Baltimore became the only team in the NFL to have appeared in multiple Super Bowls without losing one. This was also the first Super Bowl in which both teams could trace their lineage to the All-America Football Conference, as the Ravens are descended from the Cleveland Browns franchise, which joined the NFL along with the 49ers when the AAFC disbanded in 1949. Nicknames Nicknamed the Harbaugh Bowl, HarBowl, Super Baugh, Brother Bowl, Superbro, and later the "Blackout Bowl" after a power outage affected half the stadium during the third quarter,[18] this was the first Super Bowl featuring brothers as opposing head coaches, Baltimore's John Harbaugh and San Francisco's Jim Harbaugh, whose c ...

So tired. Worked the three day event for Outside Lands Music fest with Drew, nephew Anthony and Brenna Neely. We had such a blast. San Francisco has some interesting people. One thing I have to say is they are so polite... We saw so many bands. Drew and Anthony rocked out to Metallica and Neely got to rock out to Jack White. I liked Portugal of Man, Fun and most of all Stevie Wonder. He played Sunday morning a private little concert before doors opened. Flippin amazing. So talented!!! Got to eat with the road crew and show people The bomb breakfast and free lunches. Came home at 2:30 in morning and got back up and started college. Life is so challenging but gosh it can be fun!
I am a bit envious of...but mostly happy son, Danny, who is in San Francisco for a three day concert called "Outside Lands"' at Golden Gate Park. WIth over seventy bands, the Headliners include Foo Fighters, Neil Young, Jack White, Stevie Wonder, Metallica, Beck, Norah Jones, Tom Morello etc. I want to hit it next year.

Where's my San Francisco peeps? I'll be at the Outside Lands Festival in Golden Gate Park August 10-12 hustling screen printed gig posters and t-shirts to the sounds of Jack White and the Foo Fighters among dozens of other killer bands. Make plans!
I was reading the latest edition of Rolling Stone magazine last night when I came across an ad for a huge concert being held in San Francisco in August. And lone behold with names like Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, Jack White, Foo Fighters, Nora Jones, Metallica and Skrillex also performing is South Africa's Die Antword. Now out of all the brilliant Artists and Band's that South Africa has produced over the years who would ever of thought that a band like Die Antword would be making waves world wide. There must be some truth in their song "I Fink U Freeky and I Like U A Lot"! Honestly, what is this world coming to?
