in on this comedians walls is weird polaroid pictures of Sam Kinison and Eddie Murphy and Andrew Dice Clay
Redd Foxx has been one of my idols since I was a kid- been a student of standup comedy since Eddie Murphy, Robin Harris, Sam Kinison, etc.
My talent agent and friend, Mr. Andy Engel, had this to say regarding the death of Robin Williams. I thought it was worth sharing. " When I first heard that Robin Williams had died I didn't believe it, I thought it was a hoax. I thought he would live forever. His whole being was the antithesis of death- he was an unstoppable force of nature, he was the epitome of being alive, he was naturally funny, quick and always making people laugh. His whole being and essence represented life. How could an entertainer who gave so much positive energy and helped so many people be gone? It's just incomprehensible- it's very hard to process. When I was younger the comics who inspired me were Steve Martin, Don Rickles, Eddie Murphy, Sam Kinison and Robin Williams. I was fortunate and grateful to have met him because of a mutual friend who was a producer. He was very kind, sweet and easy to talk to. I was very relaxed and forgot I was speaking to a celebrity. I was also fortunate to have worked as an extra on several mov ...
I'm gonna pipe in one last time on this whole Duck Dynasty affair to hopefully bring a couple of missed points to light. This is just my opinion so you have every right to disagree. Firstly, I think if you're going to boycott A&E, I think you should boycott GQ magazine as well. I don't think they have the right to ask such a personal question of anyone and the editor should be on the hotseat as much as the guy who made the statements to begin with. We're not quite there yet, we're getting closer but we clearly aren't ready to handle it this openly. And I'll bet money GQ knew this would create a firestorm. Do you guys remember stand up comedy in the 80's?? Sam Kinison, Eddie Murphy, Andrew Dice Clay and a host of others made HORRIBLE statements about homosexual men and it was almost unanimously socially accepted. I doubt very much they could make those same jests today and still have careers, so we have come a long way and that is a wonderful thing. But not everyone, especially some 70 year old man who was ...

I posted something a little while ago that got way too Political for me... Let me say it simpler with no Political Implications at all. I am NOT and never will be a Politician. so here goes. I am very hurt and filled with sorrow for all the suffering I see people going through today. I pray for a World where I don't have to see small children playing on the streets in front of burned out houses in America or anywhere else. I wish I could do more to help them. This is why I love Comedy and why I have to work harder to become better at it. Why do I LOVE Richard Pryor, Sam Kinison, Eddie Murphy, Steve Bluestein, my friends like Bobbie Oliver, Cathy Lewis, Orlando Quion Sadsarin, Herman Nazworth, Nicky Paris, RC Smith, Thomas Dale, Bob-a Fini, Mike Bova, or any of us? It's because of this... what ever I was going through in my life... when Richard, or Eddie, or any great Comedian made me laugh. for that moment or hour I was happy. That is a great job! Making people happy even for a moment.. that's w ...
There have been a lot of great stand-up comedians during the 1980's. Who is your choice for the best of that decade: Sam Kinison, Andrew "Dice" Clay, Eddie Murphy, Roseanne Barr, Denis Leary, Steven Wright, or established veterans, such as Robin Williams, Bill Cosby or George Carlin?
Question of the day: Top 5 comedians of all time. Here's mine: 1. George Carlin 2. Richard Pryor 3. Eddie Murphy 4. Sam Kinison 5. Bill Hicks
