I have learned It's important to remember to be grateful for the big things, little things and everything in between. Today I am grateful I woke up in a comfy bed, was able to enjoy a healthy breakfast and delicious cup of tea, had a bike to ride to class, am able to go to class, being in class allows me free access to the gym for which I can use having an able body and good pair of shoes, when I was about to leave the gym It thundered and rained and even though my bike seat was wet I was grateful for the much needed moisture. Cha Cha turned out to be my very first problem foster child. As it turned out, Cha Cha had an aggressive nature with some dogs, not with ALL, but with some. Because of that, I could not trust her with the other dogs, so it has been a few months here of musical crates, and it has not been fun. On top of that, I was anxious ever minute that I would make a mistake, and she would be out at the same time as the other dogs, and I would have trouble on my hands. Well, my "adventure" has come to a close. I have had a fabulous visit with friends and family for nearly a month. I did "team Grammy" babysitting my sister for her 1 year old twin grandbabies in Indianapolis, then I had a visit with my daughter, Salli in central Illinois, followed by a wonderful visit with 5 of my cousins and their spouses. in Bloomington, IL , followed by a trip to Nashville, IN for a "girlfriends getaway" with my sis and a great friend, next a trip to Shipshewana, IN for the GIANT flea market! shifted here recently. I had heard about the Delhi Metro a long time back & I was really eager to try it. The excellent condition of the stations & trains, the easy-to-read dynamic display boards and the time & money saved, won over me on my very first trip. However many Delhiities have quite a negative impression. They feel that 'metro mein latak latak ke jaana hota hai', 'jaanwar jaise bheed hoti hai' etc etc. So for those people, please grow up. Firstly get out of Delhi & visit other cities like Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad & Kolkata. I've stayed in most of these places and except for Kolkata others don't even have a metro. You will be appalled by the way people travel daily in the suburban locals. The conveniences like AFC gates, smart cards & air-conditioned cars are absent. 1) The trains are so full of people that they are forced to hang outside the doors. The curriculum they are teaching our children in schools these days is ridiculous! I'm about to go on a rampage with the school board!!! The home work and reading material my kids have had to do has NO educational value what so ever! If they really want to learn something, they have to come home and look it up on line! The teachers have even made comments on how they are limited on what they can teach, and how they can teach it. History in schools now only revolves around one subject... Bigger, Better, and more IMPORTANT things HAVE happened!!! America and the world is made up of so much more...
