surely we can't have been paying Bryan Ruiz 20 times Ryan Tunnicliffe's salary and Fofana same as Parker!
We had a central midfield of Scott Parker, Chris Baird and Ryan Tunnicliffe finish that match.

This Crowley kid sounds decent, but Ryan Tunnicliffe was also the next Roy Keane! Some just can't handle mens football. We'll see.
That midfielder is ridiculously different in class. Larnell Cole & Ryan Tunnicliffe to. Alexander Kacaniklic & Emerson Hyndman.
doesn't mean much.Ryan Tunnicliffe also got a Championship club when he's 18.
Ryan Tunnicliffe has just been fined 2 GRAND for being homophobic to Paddy Bamford! Ridiculous lack of logic
Pretty sure Patrick Bamford is going to be playing in the Premier League next season unlike, say, Ryan Tunnicliffe.
I do find it weird that Ryan Tunnicliffe is 22. Scrappy Doo is the same age as Dan Burn and Marcus Bettinelli.
According to Sean Davis, Ryan Tunnicliffe is playing CM with Scott Parker for Fulham. Let's hear how he does today in that position.

Solskjaer has message for Wilson Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a simple piece of advice for James Wilson – model your game on Robin van Persie's. The Norwegian won the hearts of the Old Trafford faithful with his unerring finishing ability and was aware of Wilson's potential even when he was Reserves coach under Sir Alex Ferguson, before leaving to cut his managerial teeth with Molde and Cardiff City. Wilson, who only recently turned 19, was handed another start in Sunday's big match against Liverpool and is clearly highly regarded by manager Louis van Gaal. The fleet-footed forward, who scored twice on his debut against Hull City last term, has the potential to become as firm a favourite as Solskjaer in the years to come. "I never trained James Wilson during my time as Reserves manager at United," Solskjaer told United Review. "But I was well aware of him. "I got to work with the gang from 1993, with Ryan Tunnicliffe, Paul Pogba and so on, but James was among the 1995 boys. I watche ...

Final score at Old Trafford: Manchester United 2-2 Fulham. Starting with a complete different team than we've ever played with and debuts for John Heitinga and Ryan Tunnicliffe we didn't expect much from this match but we were just hoping for a good performance! After a great counter attack and a sublime pass from Lewis Holtby, Steve Sidwell gave us the lead with 19 minutes played. Great start of the match.. Unfortunately we conceded two goals after 78 minutes and it looked like we wouldn't get any result again.. until Darren Bent scored a header in stoppage time! Finally the luck is on our site in the last minute.. Well done boys! Keep the faith!! Next up on Wednesday: Liverpool at the Cottage! COYW
John Heitinga and Ryan Tunnicliffe make their Fulham debuts this afternoon.
Fulham v Sheffield Utd February 3, 2014 International, International, International, International Fulham will look to make the most of their second chance when they take on Sheffield United in an FA Cup fourth-round replay on Tuesday. The Cottagers managed to salvage a draw at Bramall Lane against the 10 men of United, and will be desperate to advance at the expense of their League One opponents. Rene Meulensteen’s side head into the clash in terrible form, however, having scored just once in their last four outings, all of which have ended in either a draw or defeat. The former Manchester United assistant coach made a number of moves in the January transfer window, bringing in Konstantinos Mitroglou, Larnell Cole, Lewis Holtby, Ryan Tunnicliffe, William Kvist and John Heitinga, although none of the new arrivals are eligible for the replay as they were not registered with the club before the original tie. John Arne Riise (hamstring), Fernando Amorebieta (knee) and Matthew Briggs (hernia) are doubtful a ...
Transfer window: The winners, the losers - and the rest - After another transfer window of wheeler-dealing, R.FM Sport's analyst DABADA YUSUFU analyses the winners and losers as the Premier League clubs brace themselves for the season run-in: Winners Manchester United Key moves in: Juan Mata [from Chelsea] £37.1m. Key moves out: Fabio [to Cardiff] undisclosed, Larnell Cole and Ryan Tunnicliffe [to Fulham] undisclosed, Anderson [to Fiorentina] loan, Jack Barmby [to Hartlepool] loan, Wilfried Zaha [to Cardiff] loan, Sam Byrne & Charni Ekangamene [to Carlisle] loan, Tyler Blackett, Tom Thorpe & Federico MacHeda [to Birmingham] loan, Tom Lawrence [to Yeovil] loan, Sam Johnstone [to Doncaster] loan, Will Keane [to QPR] loan. Manchester United manager David Moyes went for quality not quantity in January. One signing. One high-class player in Juan Mata at a club-record fee of £37m from Chelsea. Mata may not solve United's major problems - a creaking defence and a midfield short of a world-class player - but .. ...
Fulham have now lost five of their past six league matches, conceding 18 goals. Saints, meanwhile, are four games unbeaten in the league and strengthened their grip on ninth place. But the problems continue to pile up for Cottagers head coach Rene Meulensteen after a busy deadline day failed to have the desired impact. The Dutchman made four changes from the midweek defeat at Swansea, with January arrivals William Kvist and Lewis Holtby both handed debuts. Their fellow new recruits Konstantinos Mitroglou, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Larnell Cole and Johnny Heitinga were not in the 18-man squad. Victor Wanyama and Lambert both returned for the Saints, who found themselves on the back foot in the opening exchanges. Scott Parker's attempted chip was comfortably saved by Artur Boruc before Holtby, signed on loan from Tottenham, made his first contribution with a deep corner which Dan Burn headed just over the crossbar. Yet Southampton grew in confidence and Cottagers goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg was tested for the f ...

LOAN ROUNDUP : Ryan Tunnicliffe (Ipswich Town) - Tunnicliffe played the full match in Ipswich’s 1-1 draw with Leeds and was unfortunate not to get on the score sheet. He had Ipswich’s first shot on target but it was saved. Later he burst into the box but was denying by an excellent clearance from Tom Lees at full stretch. He then tested Paddy Kenny with a low drive but Kenny was equal to it. He had yet another chance to score at the start of the second half but wasted the golden opportunity when he side-footed his volley wide from 18 yards. Tunnicliffe did good work to win the ball back for Ipswich and turned defence into attack providing the pass to McGoldrick for Town’s goal in the 57th minute before Leeds pulled a goal back and the game ended in 1-1 draw. Nick Powell (Wigan Athletic) - Powell played 85 minutes in Wigan’s goalless draw with Middlesbrough. He had a very quiet match and the few chances he did have in front of goal were saved by Shay Given. He was replaced in the 85th minute by Nic ...

Moyes on facing Hull City: "Steve Bruce has done really good job. They have some good players and will be a hard team to beat." MUFC will try to add to the squad in January but Moyes says Jesse Lingard, Nick Powell & Ryan Tunnicliffe can play key roles in the future. Moyes: "We're keeping our eyes on all of the boys who are out on loan. They are the future. They have been through the system"
With new faces possibly proving difficult to get hold of during next month's transfer window, Moyes has three alternative options. "We will try in January," he said. "I am quite actively looking at our own boys. The likes of Jesse Lingard, Nick Powell and Ryan Tunnicliffe. "They are the future. They are part of the club. They have been in the system. "We hope they might be able to come back and help if we need it in January."

Loans watch: Manchester United's Nick Powell scored for the second game in a row as his loan club Wigan Athletic won away at fellow promotion-chasers Reading. The in-form forward made it 2-0 after only 12 minutes at the rain-lashed Madejski Stadium, moments after Chris McCann had given the Latics the lead. Although Powell was replaced at half-time by fellow United loanee Will Keane, his goal ultimately proved to be the winner with Reading only managing to halve the arrears through Pavel Pogrebnyak. Michael Keane and Kiko MacHeda both came on as first-half substitutes when their loan clubs, Derby County and Doncaster Rovers, clashed at the iPro Stadium. Keane replaced County’s injured captain Richard Keogh after just 25 minutes and helped the Rams to record a seventh consecutive league win under new manager Steve McClaren, who recently added former United goalkeeping coach Eric Steele to his staff. Macheda entered the fray four minutes before the break as a replacement for Chris Brown and although his pr ...

LOAN WATCH: Ryan Tunnicliffe starts for Ipswich Town in their match with Watford today
"With all the hype about him since he was bought, no-one knows what he can do yet - but he's shown today what he's all about." Those were the words of Reserves midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe after Bebe's scorching volley capped the second string's 3-1 victory over Wigan Athletic at Moss Lane. The Portuguese winger had earlier opened the scoring with another blistering effort, but it was the immaculate technique on show in his volley which stole the show. If you haven't seen the goal yet, all you need do is login to watch our free video.
Loans: Lawrence dazzles Tom Lawrence netted two spectacular strikes – one surely a contender for League One Goal of the Season – to help Carlisle United to a 4-1 win over Tranmere Rovers on Saturday. Lawrence's first was a 25-yard volley in the first minute to give the Cumbrians a dream start, but it was his second, described by Carlisle's official website as "one of the best goals ever seen" that will be shown again and again over the coming days. The 19-year-old forward picked up the ball almost 40 yards out and then jinked, feinted and dummied his way past four defenders before firing the ball into the bottom corner. Not a bad way to mark your first goals in senior football. In a strange twist, however, Lawrence was substituted immediately, while fellow United loanee Ben Amos completed the full 90 minutes in goal for Carlisle. Lawrence wasn't the only young Red to find the net on Saturday. Defender Marnick Vermijl scored in NEC Nijmegen's dramatic 4-3 win over Roda JC in the Dutch Eredivisie. The B ...

Tunnicliffe on top form ManUtd.com provides another update on Manchester United’s on-loan players… Ryan Tunnicliffe helped Ipswich Town to make it a hat-trick of wins in the Championship, featuring in both of his loan clubs’ games in the last week. While the 20-year-old midfielder was a late substitute in the 3-1 win over Blackburn Rovers in midweek, he played the full 90 minutes as *** McCarthy’s men beat Huddersfield 2-1 at Portman Road. It was Tunnicliffe’s 14th start of the season, and the Tractor Boys are currently ninth in the table but just two points off the play-off places. Jesse Lingard faced United colleague Federico MacHeda when Birmingham City drew 1-1 with Doncaster Rovers last Tuesday, and he played the whole of the match at the weekend when the Blues were held again in a 2-2 draw at home to Middlesbrough. Macheda was replaced with 20 minutes remaining of Rovers’ disappointing 3-0 defeat at Bolton. Nick Powell played in both of Wigan Athletic’s fixtures in the last seven days ...
LOAN WATCH : Ryan Tunnicliffe – Ipswich Town 2-1 Huddersfield Town Ryan Tunnicliffe started for The Tractor Boys in the 2-1 home victory against Huddersfield Town this weekend. The United midfielder played well for his side but did not get onto the score sheet. His development at Ipswich is coming along and he is now a valued member of the first team, playing almost every match since his spell started. Ipswich Town are currently ninth in the Championship. Next Match: Nottingham Forest - Sky Bet Championship – Saturday 14th December 2013, KO 15:00
LOAN WATCH : Marnick Vermijl – Utrecht 2-0 NEC Nijmegen Marnick Vermijl started for NEC in a 2-0 away defeat, which keeps them rooted to the bottom of the Eredivisie. Last week the young Belgian scored his first professional goal, which was great for him, but reality hit the site once again, who look sure to find relegation this season. Vermijl is settling in his first team environment, which is helping his development, but nobody like being on a losing team for the majority of the season. Next Match: Roda JC K – Eredivisie – Saturday 14th December 2013, KO 17:45 Michael Keane – Derby County 5-1 Blackpool Michael Keane started the 5-1 victory for the Rams on the bench, but replaced Jake Buxton with about 17 minutes remaining. All the goals were scored before Keane made his debut. Blackpool scored within three minutes, but also saw two players sent off. After half time they were a very different side. Keane played well for the amount of time he spent on the pitch, hopefully he will be given more ch ...
What can I say? I can only conclude that our performance (Man Utd) in the EPL this season has been poor, and from the context of our recent history and pedigree, has been abjectly disgraceful. Given our apparent lack of ambition and motivation, we should not "deceive ourselves" but set a modest target this term; Champions League qualification at the very best. We should try and concentrate on Cup games especially the League Cup so as to enable a young talented boy like Adnan Januzaj have a feel of a trophy. The FA Cup because of its competitiveness will prove difficult at the latter stages but can be won with a stroke of good fortune. The Champions League is simply a "bridge too far". It is still mathematically possible to win the EPL but being positive about Man United in that regard will involve voodoo mathematics, which I will not be a party to. There is no way ALL of Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool(yes, with Suarez) will have an extended period of mediocre performances like we have had this . ...
no one who's any good. There's bound to be like a Will Keane or a Ryan Tunnicliffe free somewhere
Loans: Nick Powell was on the mark yet again on Saturday, finding the net in Wigan Athletic's home fixture against Derby County, but his sixth strike for the club was not enough to prevent a 3-1 defeat. The England Under-21 midfielder was joined in the Latics starting line-up by fellow United loanee Will Keane, whose brother Michael was an unused substitute for Derby. The game sounded the death knell for Latics manager Owen Coyle, who was sacked on Monday morning. Marnick Vermijl notched his first goal for NEC Nijmegen in their 3-2 win over AZ Alkmaar. Vermijl's 15th-minute opener proved to be the start of a high-scoring and entertaining encounter in the Netherlands. Ryan Tunnicliffe, Tyler Blackett and Jesse Lingard all enjoyed 90-minute run-outs for their respective clubs. Bury-born Tunnicliffe featured in Ipswich's 1-0 win over Charlton at The Valley, while Lingard enjoyed a more comfortable afternoon as his Birmingham side dispatched Barnsley 3-1. Blackett, meanwhile, helped Blackpool move up to fourt ...

Result: Manchester United pip Tottenham Hotspur to Under-21 title Man Utd have claimed the inaugural Barclays Under-21 Premier League title after coming from behind to edge Tottenham Hotspur in a 3-2 success last night. A number of players with first-team experience featured for both sides, including Tom Carroll, Ben Amos, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Harry Kane. Spurs had raced into a two-goal lead at Old Trafford, courtesy of impressive strikes from Jonathan Obika and Alex Pritchard. United rallied to reduce the deficit through Belgian youngster Marnick Vermijl, before Larnell Cole equalised with a composed finish from close range. Cole then completed the turnaround to score a winner two minutes from time as United secured a late victory in the reserve showpiece.
Michael Keane, Larnell Cole, Adnan Januzaj, Tom Thorpe, Jesse Lingard, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Mats Moller Daehli, Lawrence and Will Keane (injured). BARNSLEY’s new loan signing Ryan Tunnicliffe took some expert advice before joining the Championship club. Manchester United loan recruit Tunnicliffe asked his pal, Danny Drinkwater, just what life at Oakwell was like. And the response from former Reds ace Drinkwater, who was a fans’ favourite in his loan spell with the club, left Tunnicliffe in no doubt he’d made the right decision. Drinkwater’s performances earnt him a permanent deal with Leicester City and regular Championship football. “I spoke to him [Drinkwater] before I made the decision to come here and he was the one that tipped me over the edge,” revealed Tunnicliffe, speaking exclusively to The Star. “His support really helped me make my decision. “It’s a bigger and better stage playing in the Championship to show the boss [Sir Alex Ferguson] what I can do and that hopefully I can break into his first team. “I just want to play. This team are on the up and the Manchester United reserve-team manager [Warren Joyce] knows them ...
Ryan Tunnicliffe was handed his Barnsley debut just a day after signing on loan, though the United youngster could do little to prevent a 5-3 defeat to Bristol City. The 20-year-old played a full match for the Championship strugglers and almost scored on five minutes when a 25-yard shot was saved by Tom Heaton, who made a number of fine stops throughout the match. The former Reds goalkeeper was also on hand to thwart Tunnicliffe's driving run in the second half, diving at his feet before a goalmouth scramble saw Chris O'Grady pull agoal back for Barnsley. David Flitcroft's Tykes have been in good form of late after winning eight of their last nine league and cup fixtures but Saturday’s defeat means they drop to 21st in the table, just two points above the relegation zone. Elsewhere, Michael Keane kept a clean sheetas Leicester City recorded a goalless draw with Blackpool at Bloomfield Road, where former United favourite Paul Ince took charge of his first home match as Tangerines manager. U21s: L'pool 0 United 1 Michele Fornasier's injury-time goal gave Manchester United a dramatic win over 10-man Liverpool in a keenly-contested Barclays Under-21 Premier League Elite Group derby in St Helens. The Italian defender pounced from close range just as it seemed Warren Joyce's side would be denied victory in front of a healthy crowd at Langtree Park. United, missing Ryan Tunnicliffe and Reece Brown following their loan moves to Barnsley and Ipswich Town respectively, had more than held their own against a strong Liverpool team featuring the likes of Raheem Sterling, Jonjo Shelvey and Andre Wisdom. But the visitors almost failed to capitalise on the dismissal of Liverpool defender Stephen Sama early in the second period, spurning several presentable chances to score before Fornasier's late intervention. Jeffery Schlupp impressed as a loan striker for United on the first competitive outing of his spell on trial from Leicester City, while the Reds also fielded Alex Büttner and Nick Powell, the latt ...

Young Reds Do United Proud Nights like these make you proud to be a United fan. Tonight epitomised what our club is about; giving the youngsters a chance. Our back four consisted of Rafael, Scott Wootton, Michael Keane and Alexander Buttner, with the inexperienced centre-halves facing up against some of the Premier League’s stellar names in Juan Mata and Eden Hazard. It says it all with the substitutions both sides made, we brought on Nick Powell, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Federico MacHeda, whereas Chelsea brought on Eden Hazard, Oscar and Ramires; Over £60million worth of talent. The biggest positive was Michael Keane, the 19-year old handled Sturridge extremely well for the most-part, I know we conceded 5 goals but the maturity he shown tonight was great to watch. Nick Powell certainly looks at home in a United shirt, his passing was excellent and he was as cool as you like under pressure. Another positive came in the form of Anderson, why can’t he play like that every game? He bossed the midfield and f ...

Things don't always turn out well for fathers of Manchester United players who bet on football, but Ryan Tunnicliffe's dad is now a wealthier man for having faith in his son's abilities. Midfielder Tunnicliffe has been on the books at Manchester United since he was scouted as a 9-year-old. Seeing his son's potential at that young age, Tunnicliffe Sr. did what any upstanding father would do and rushed to his local bookmakers to place a wager. Reports The Guardian: When the fledgling midfielder, now 19, was nine his father had placed the wager that his son would one day play for United, taking the odds of 100-1 with a £100 bet. When Tunnicliffe made his debut appearance for the first team as a 76th-minute substitute for Marnick Vermijl in Wednesday's League Cup win over Newcastle, the 10-year-old bet earned pops a tidy £10,000 ($16,234) payout.
