'Sixty Minutes With' Heighway on LFC TV A brand new series of LFC TV's highly-acclaimed chat show 'Sixty Minutes With' launches on Monday, January 20. Six former Reds have agreed to talk in-depth about their Liverpool careers and it kicks off with a wizard of the wing turned academy director, Steve Heighway. From terrorising opposition defenders in the 1970s to nurturing the stars of the future in the 1990s, Heighway reveals all in a candid interview with Claire Rourke, which airs on LFC TV at 11pm GMT tomorrow. Fellow Kop legends John Barnes, Mark Lawrenson and Ray Houghton will also feature over the following few weeks, as will two players whose Liverpool story we very rarely hear, Phil Babb and Stephen Warnock. Among the many previous notable names to have appeared on what is one of LFC TV's longest running shows are Steven Gerrard, Kevin Keegan, Ian Rush, Jamie Carragher, Phil Thompson, Ian St John and Ronnie Moran.
TEAM NEWS Liverpool are still without captain Steven Gerrard, who will not be fit to return to the new year because of his hamstring injury.Manager Brendan Rodgers is also missing striker Daniel Sturridge and defender Jose Enrique.Cardiff await news on whether ex-Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy will be fit to face his former club.Aside from that, Bluebirds manager Malky Mackay has a fully fit squad to select from. MATCH PREVIEW Meetings between Cardiff and Liverpool don't come along too often. This will be the first since the Welsh club were beaten in the League Cup final of 2012 by virtue of a penalty shoot-out in which only half of the 10 kicks were converted. That was at Wembley of course, but Cardiff's last visit to Anfield also finished in defeat - 2-1 - also in the League Cup in 2007. You have to go back another 48 years for the next most recent clash, which was surely the most significant of all.It was 19 December 1959, and a Liverpool team containing boot room legend-to-be Ronnie Moran, future Chel ...
David Moyes has done more in half a season than what Ronnie Moran, Greame Souness, Roy Evans, Gerard Houllier, Rafeal Benitez, Roy Hodgson, Kenny Dalglish (second time)& Brendan Rodgers couldn't do for the 14th time in 23 years. Stop Man Utd winning the Premiership.
Ronnie Moran what a legend. Been at the club for around 50 years, you can still find him at Melwood at the age of 79.

I be well happy with Martin O' Neil. But, Kenny , Roy Evens , Ronnie Moran, Phil Thompson are my heroes. Take care. Glenn.
I've heard rumours King Kenny is getting sacked today I hope so another ex player getting away with doing a shocking job at his former club after stabbing Hodgson in the back behnd the scenes to he could weasel his way into the hotseat! If they move him 'upstairs' he will just *** on the next managers parade! Fenway sports group can surely not afford another season of stagnation! It's time that he left anfield all together! In coaching & managment terms he couldn'nt lace Ronnie Moran's boots let alone Shanks, Fagan and the great Bob Paisley.
not cheering, shouting at the players, Ronnie Moran, Phil Thompson style. Hardly our biggest issue but see his point
