Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig. These are the people who have portrayed James Bond.
not sure the popular consensus on this, but I really liked Timothy Dalton as Bond, definitely more than Roger Moore
George Lazenby was in one Bond film, and Timothy Dalton was in two. I myself am a Roger Moore fan! :-)
he's 42. Roger Moore was 46 when he first played Bond and Timothy Dalton was 41. Daniel Craig was 47 on his last outing.
Sean Connery is popular because of James Bond. Same as Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan & Daniel Craig.
United's in flight entertainment reveals how poor Bond movies were in my youth -- late Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton
Ok so like Sean Connery is Snow White, Roger Moore is Ariel, Timothy Dalton is Belle - help me out here
Doesn't know if it's a Timothy Dalton or Roger Moore flick at times.
Daniel Craig comes a close 3rd after Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton.
Sean Connery is Owl. George Lazenby is Roo. Roger Moore is Tigger. Timothy Dalton is Rabbit. Brosnan is Pooh. Daniel Craig is Eeyore.
The James Bond movie I am watching tonight is Licence To Kill. After Roger Moore & Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton is by far the next best 007
my is Timothy Dalton smooching with Roger Moore.
I wonder if Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, Roger Moore & Timothy Dalton ever get together and do some, you know…
love of all things Bond, including even Timothy Dalton's movies and some of Roger Moore's? Ha
I say that as someone who loves every Bond except that *** clown Roger Moore. George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton included.
no I mean like. is it Roger Moore. Sean Connery. Timothy Dalton. Pierce Brosnan. Daniel Craig. or the one weird guy everyone forgot
Out of the seven actors to play James Bond on the big screen: Only one was actually Scottish, Sean Connery. David Niven, Daniel Craig, and Roger Moore were English. Timothy Dalton was Welsh, while Pierce Brosnan and George Lazenby were Irish and Australian, respectively. Personally, for quite some time I've thought Idris Elba, who is English, was the best choice to play the next James Bond. To quote Jay-Z, "This ain't black vs. white, my *** we off that / Please tell Bill O'Reilly to fall back / Tell Rush Limbaugh to get off my balls / It's 2010, not 1864..."
"or make mention of actors David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton or Pierce Brosnan, who, while white, are not Scottish."
"A view to kill" had Roger Moore, not Timothy Dalton, as Bond aling with Grace Jones and Christopher Walker as the heavies.
Timothy Dalton makes his debut as 007 in the 1987 film The Living Daylights. After twelve years of light touch of Roger Moore t...
Monday, June 23 Dougie's Daily Trivia In 1961, Sean Connery hit the big screen as British secret agent James Bond in Dr. No. The James Bond movies were based on novels by Ian Fleming. In addition to Connery, five other actors have gone on to play the 007 role over a span of 23 films (24, if you count the unofficial 1983 film Never Say Never Again). Of the six actors that played James Bond, only two of them were actually from England. Which two were they? Answer: Roger Moore and the current Bond, Daniel Craig. Connery is actually from Scotland, George Lazenby is from Australia, Timothy Dalton is from Wales, and Pierce Brosnan is from Ireland. OTHER FUN James Bond FACTS: Sean Connery, who was prematurely bald, wore toupees in all of his appearances as James Bond. At 29 years old, George Lazenby was the youngest to play James Bond. At 57 years old, Roger Moore was the oldest to play James Bond. The record for most women bedded by Bond in one movie belongs to Roger Moore for A View to a Kill and Sean Connery ...
England - Costa Rica will be a sham. Like watching a Timothy Dalton Bond film. It looks and sounds the same but just isn't Roger Moore
Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton were the worst Bonds ever.
Today's trivia: James Bond has been played in 6 movies by Sean Connery, once by George Lazenby, 7 times by Roger Moore, twice by Timothy Dalton, 4 times by Pierce Brosnan and 3 times (so far) by Daniel Craig. The 24th Bond film will begin shooting in the fall of this year, with Craig again as the main character. Despite the fact that he's come out a little dinged from filming the last Bond movie, he says he'll play it for as long as it takes. Not willing to let that kind of devotion go unnoticed, Aston Martin has just come up with the most interesting proposition for the British actor: they offered him a free pass to drive any Aston Martin model car any time he likes for the rest of his life. Aston Martins’ top speeds are far beyond that which is legal on any road, so whenever he wants to push their limits he can contact the company and have them set up a track for him.
Timothy Dalton is far more agile than Roger Moore.
Timothy Dalton, not a patch on Roger Moore!
Ooh, Timothy Dalton. Much better eye candy than Roger Moore. So that's my afternoon's Bond-age sorted then. Shame I missed the titles..
ok fb peeps who do you think played James Bond the best.Sean Connery...Roger Moore. .Timothy Dalton...Prerce Brosnan...Daniel Craig?
George Lazenby was a better Doctor Who than Roger Moore, Sean Connery and Daniel Craig. But Timothy Dalton was better than Lazenby.
If I'm elected president ALL videos will be performed under these circumstances with this kind of hair styling. That, and there will be TWO James Bond movies per year, high quality, no Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton type bullshi-ite. Oh yeah. I'll fix the roads too. I mean really fix them so they don't break down with pot holes for at least fifty years. So remember to write me in. In the meantime--here's the source code. Crank it!
Who is your favorite Bond? 1.Sean Connery 2.George Lazenby 3.Roger Moore 4.Timothy Dalton 5.Pierce Brosnan 6.Daniel Craig No matter who your favorite Bond is, you gonna enjoy "Skyfall - A Hero Reborn" the 16th Annual James Bond Gala at !
Kids today have it easy. They haven't had to deal with Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton playing Bond.
Daniel Craig is the best Bond, followed by Sean Connery, then George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Pearce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton.
Everyone seems to agree that Johnny Carson is the most iconic host of The Tonight Show. The same goes for Sean Connery and the James Bond franchise. If Johnny Carson is to The Tonight Show what Sean Connery is to James Bond then I think Jay Leno is like Roger Moore, Conan O’Brien is like Timothy Dalton and Jimmy Fallon is like Pierce Brosnan. Yes, truth.
This guy talking about the 007 actors remembered Roger Moore & Timothy Dalton, but called Pierce Brosnan "that other guy"
I have one more Roger Moore to go, then 2 Timothy Dalton's, 4 Pierce Brosnan's, and 3 Daniel Craig's
My parents' first date was a James Bond 007 film. I've seen most of them. Except for maybe one or two of the Roger Moore ones and one of the Timothy Dalton ones. This is a natural team-up. Tony Stark and Bond. James Bond. Right now I'm reading the original Fleming novels. Very eye-opening. They were not filmed in the order that they were written, like Harry Potter. Bond and Sherlock Holmes share that, unless you're considering the PBS Sherlock Holmes starring the late, great Jeremy Brett. Here's a cool team-up courtesy of Super-Team Family: The Lost issues!
So, Padlock Grin fans. Just out of curiosity, who is your favorite James Bond? Sean Connery, George Lazenby, (Sir) Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, or Daniel Craig??
Logan is adjusting to the new The Sunny Side Up Show host, Tim, better than I am. I feel the same way I felt when Timothy Dalton replaced Roger Moore as 007. *** I'm not feeling it.
If you were Bond, would you be more like:. a) Sean Connery. b) George Lazenby. c) Roger Moore . d) Timothy Dalton. e) Pi…
Welp, out of Roger Moore and into Timothy Dalton Bonds.
I think it's Roger Moore, or one of the early ones. Timothy Dalton was on The End of Time!
Finally finished the Roger Moore years with my kids, on to Timothy Dalton!
So, do people get as excited to see Timothy Dalton as they would Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan or Daniel Craig? I see Dalton and I'm like, "Eh, there's a dude who played James Bond a couple times." Jason?
Listening to all the Bond songs and with my boo proffering all my nerdy trivia such as Timothy Dalton being considered for Bond even before Roger Moore
Watchin Skyfall and I must say. James Bond. OUCH. Sean Connery, Daniel Craig, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnon, George Lazenby, David Niven. I'll give you your martini anyway you want it! Lmfao...
Sean Connery,George Lezenby,Roger Moore,Timothy Dalton,Pierce Brosnon and Daniel Craig all incarnations of super suave James Bond. Now as a Bond aficionado I have alway preferred Connery as Bond but I have enjoyed all of them at one time or another,so this is bordering on heresy but Daniel Craig is now the man! Throw out all the guys between him and Connery they finally got a guy who truly fits and I might as well go all in and say that the newest Bond film,'Skyfall',is the best of all, with apologies to Mr.Fleming! If you haven't seen it do it,it is well crafted in the style of one of the early films with Connery, not a bunch of gadgets to rely on, just a pair of xxxl balls!
the Roger Moore films are good fun, but Timothy Dalton is the best Bond before Daniel Craig.
So ends A View To A Kill and with it, Roger Moore's iconic tenure as Here comes Timothy Dalton, head butting his way in
Found it!!! Timothy Dalton era. I thought it was Roger Moore.
Timothy Dalton wasn't the worst Bond. Neither was George Lazenby. It was Roger Moore.
Saw The World's End last night. Loved it. After Timothy Dalton in Hot Fuzz& now Pierce Brosnan. Any chance Roger Moore in next?
Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton found him wandering about the Fountain with no t-shirt on at half 5.
Recently finished watching all the James Bond movies in order. (It took months!) Conclusions: Sean Connery was, of course, the best ("Nobody Does it Better"!) followed closely by Daniel Craig, even tho he needs to develop a sense of humor. Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan were good, looked good, had humor and beautiful Brit accents, George Lazenby wasn't that bad, but Timothy Dalton was a total disaster. Sloppy clothes and hair, no personality. Glad he only made 2 Bond movies. . .Best Bond Girl: Ursula Andress. The old M was cute, but Judi Dench took that part to a new level. Liked the old Q, but that new kid is really appealing. Any comments? (Now we're rewatching the Indiana Jones movies, but there are only 4, so that won't take as long!)
Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. Some fine *** white men in their day
It's taken 1 hour and 33 minutes for Timothy Dalton to get his end away. Roger Moore would have exploded by now
John Barry's score for James Bond 'View to a Kill' is pretty awesome, too bad Roger Moore was in it, should have used Timothy Dalton
Timothy Dalton is so much smoother than Roger Moore. He just stands there and then they're doing it. Moore had to force it... with force.
We're nowhere near him yet! Still doing Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton to go ...
"No, Mom and Dad, there WAS a Batgirl but this one's -- okay, y'know how Roger Moore, Sean Connery, and Timothy Dalton are ALL James Bond?…"
If you can't kill Roger Moore, what chance do you stand against Daniel Craig or Timothy "BADMAN" Dalton. It's like Scott Pilgrim
Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan et Daniel Craig..Bond.. "The world is not enough"
She nearly put Timothy Dalton in front of Roger Moore! What is with that!
Sean Connery as Bond doe >>>>> I gatta see more with Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton before I make my decision on the best bond.
5. Pierce Brosnan was first choice to be James Bond after Roger Moore, but lost out to Timothy Dalton because of TV commitments.
I know it's NOT Timothy Dalton. *shudder* I'd vote for prolly Roger Moore and then Pierce Brosnan.
In a James Bond marathon, its smart to pepper the Pierce Brosnon and Timothy Dalton with a healthy dose of Roger Moore and Sean Connery.
seriously ? Your first? Wow! However avoid the Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton ones.
Watching Timothy Dalton's Bond films reminds me that Roger Moore is the worst Bond. So cheesy, so sleazy.
Last night some girl on the DC metro tried telling me that Timothy Dalton was a better James Bond than Roger Moore...smh
...Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and then, the present Daniel Craig! But, Connery and Moore are my favorites!
Timothy Dalton the most anonymous & anodyne. Roger Moore not bad (and his name summed up the part SOOO well)
One of Roger Moore's better Bond films in my opinion. Think the Timothy Dalton films were the first I saw in the cinema.
Timothy Dalton is very complicated Bond. His seriousness after 14 years of Roger Moore was a welcome change. And he's a good actor.
Just got to see the Oscar's "tribute" to 50 years of James Bond, courtesy of Youtube -- but, there's something seriously amiss with that montage of films -- they almost completely ignore Roger Moore. Yeah, there'a a clip or two, but most of it is Sean Connery, Daniel Craig and Timothy Dalton -- even Pierce Brosnan gets snubbed for the most part. Was there a contractual dispute that made Moore and Brosnan fall out of favor with the powers that be?
Sad truism...there were more shots of Halle Berry in last night's Bond "tribute" than shots of either Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton!
biggest disappointment of the night: Where the *** was Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Daniel Craig and the other lesser known Bonds?
Ok the Academy Awards are honoring 50 years of James Bond. Weigh in, who is your fav James Bond. Me first. I grew up with Roger Moore so that is Bond to me. No wrong answers here people.
More James Bond today. Starting out with Roger Moore's For your eyes only! Then back to Sean in Never say never again. Then The Living Daylights with Roger Daltry and finally Goldeneye with Pierce Brosnon.
I want Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton, now that they're done with James Bond, to start a band: 4 Non-Bonds
ok I've had good think; Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton.
Quick answer Milady before I run to see the new Die Hard.Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore , Timothy Dalton
Just ordered Skyfall on demand. How the *** did I not watch this bin the theater? The last Bond movie I didn't see in the theater was A View to a Kill, and that dates back to Roger Moore. I even saw the Timothy Dalton crap in the theaters. *** I'm slacking
Timothy Dalton is definitely the ugliest then George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan!
No, in order of ugliest first, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Daniel Craig, Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan!
Am I the only one who wishes Timothy Dalton got to play Bond at least as many times as Roger Moore?
Licence To Kill is to The Living Daylights what Quantum Of Solace is to Casino Royale; that is, a hard-edged revenge film that's arguably far-less successful than its immediate predecessor. Which is not to say that Timothy Dalton's second outing as Bond, James Bond is bad. Rather, much like Quantum, it's just a little bit disappointing. The Living Daylights was a revelation after fifteen-plus years of Roger Moore tomfoolery (if you're having nostalgic thoughts towards Sir Roger's Bond, remember: Moonraker had a character called Dr. Holly Goodhead. GOODHEAD! Gah!) -a taut, exciting Cold War thriller with a steely Bond and a rather well written relationship at its core. Licence To Kill, on the other hand, lacks the same sense of ambition. It kicks off in the US, where Bond attends the wedding of CIA colleague Felix Leiter (a recurring character in the Bond mythos, albeit one who's never played by the same actor more than twice). En route they stop to assist the DEA in a drug bust (naturally) and in capturin ...
THROWBACK THURSDAY: Did you know that Goldeneye 007 originally had Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton as playable Bond characters?
The Stellar Arcade along Wright Road,Crystal River was filled to the brim as Tom McCrae's Lexus LX jeep pierced into the facade of the monument building and towards the packing lot.He was in the company of his wife;Helen, children;Davina and Mitchel and neighbors. The emerries of the sound track of the movie in question;Sky Fall,by Adele greeted the enthusiastic audience as they strummed in batches into the cinema hall 2 of the arcade to see the latest Ian Flemming two and a half hour 007 treat. Daniel Craig, like his predecessor James Bonds:Sean Connery,Roger Moore,Timothy Dalton,Pierce Brosnan; has been able to permeate the hearts of the ever passionate cinema goer with his performance in the successful flick;Casino Royale.Sky Fall rated topmost in the discussions in the neighborhood and the possibilities of an Oscar and as such the McCrae's took it up as an obligation to feed the pleasures of the new blockbuster into their coffers. They were to see the second session of the movie for that day as Tom ...
I like them all so I'll rank them: 1. Sean Connery 2. Daniel Craig 3. Timothy Dalton 4. Pierce Brosnon 5. Roger Moore
Timothy Dalton was a solid Bond, much better than Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan.
then Daniel Craig, Timothy Dalton & Roger Moore, hopefully by the time its finally George Lazenby it'll be new year day
Watching 'The Ipcress File'. Michael Caine would have made a good Bond. Better than Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton.
There's always Daniel Craig, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan,George Lazenby and Sean Connery. So we're good.
In Goldeneye 007 (N64), Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton and Roger Moore are all hidden in the game's code. They can be unlocked via cheats.
Who's your favorite Bond actor: Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosan, or Daniel Craig? LMS if you love James Bond and comment your favorite Bond actor
Finished the Roger Moore as Bond movies; on to with Timothy Dalton next (The Living Daylights).
Found myself saying to someone today: "Let me put it this way. Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton is James Bond to me"
oh no. Roger Moore and Timothy dalton were the worst. Lol
Made it through all the Roger Moore films. Next up as Bond is Timothy Dalton. Though that's only two films so it'll be quick.
Turns out Timothy Dalton is a blue. Would have much preferred it to be Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan or even Roger Moore tbh
ABOUT ANDREW MARTIN: Andrew Martin, "the UK's most successful and fast-growing interior design company", as described by the British press, was founded in 1978 and almost at once achieved a tremendous success and got the international reputation in the sphere of interior design. Interiors in the manner of Andrew Martin came into fashion in Great Britain after such cult British films about James Bond as A View to Kill, starring Roger Moore as the agent 007, and The Living Daylights with Timothy Dalton. Martin Waller, the founder and permanent creative director of Andrew Martin company, was invited to take part in the filming to create magnificent interiors in the best traditions of the English aristocratic house, and at the end of the film-making process was noted by critics as the author of the best interiors in cinematography. Today Andrew Martin specializes on manufacturing furniture, textiles and accessories, embodying the boundless imagination of their creator and going beyond the limits of one partic ...
It's like watching Timothy Dalton after Roger Moore in series.
Timothy Dalton as Bond is such a relief after Roger Moore's terrible decade of having the role
Movie Quote/Trivia of the Day M - If you think for one moment that I don't have the balls to send a man out to die, your instincts are dead wrong. 2) Alec Trevelyan - For England, James? James Bond - For England, Alec. -M, Alec Trevelyan & James Bond (Judi Dench, Sean Bean & Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye) Did you know? This was Pierce Brosnan's first appearance of James Bond. After Roger Moore retired, considering himself to be too old to play Bond any more, Timothy Dalton was offered the role, but was unavailable. Pierce was then offered the role of James Bond in The Living Daylights, but lost out due to his contractual obligations to Remington Steele. Several changes had to be made to the script during production because the plot was virtually identical to True Lies which was being released at the time. Because the series was caught up in litigation, the six-and-a-half year hiatus between the release of License to Kill and Goldeneye is the longest gap between Bond films since the series first started in 1 ...
Just saw the new 007 "Skyfall" movie..a must-see for all of you James Bond fans...And please forgive me, Roger Moore---after these many years with Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan---I have betrayed you...Daniel Craig is FINE!
James Bond. 50th year. Skyfall. I've always remembering that I liked bond movies. I was five in 62 and I remember. Sean Connery was the star of a number of those. He reminded me of my dad, tall, dark and handsome. Then they hired Roger Moore who seemed a little to sweet to play Bond. I liked Pierce Brosnon and Timothy Dalton well enough but still lacked something. When Daniel Craig took over what the others lacked. He is muscular, he's got great blue eyes. He looks like he could break your neck in a minute. For the ladies he looks like he could make to you all. There was actually no love scenes. I thought Skyfall was pretty good.
I watched a couple of old Bond movies on TV this week. One with Roger Moore, one with Timothy Dalton...absolutely terrible movies. Terrible. How on Earth the Bond movies survived is beyond me.
Can't wait to watch Skyfall tonight... 007 legends... all time favourite, Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Dalton and the worst... George Lazenby
I was watching the James Bond marathon on T.V. tonight up til the time the ones with Daniel Craig came on. He is not a bad actor but he is also NOT James Bond. Casino Royale is a good action movie but. would have been better if a younger person were playing a younger James Bond. I so hope that Skyfall is the last movie with Danial Craig as James Bond. I would love to see Hugh Jackman as James Bond. He would be better at the double innuendo. Sean Connery, Peirce Brosnan and Roger Moore were the best at delivering those lines. Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig are NOT James Bond material but both have made other good movies just not 007. My rant is now ended. This is just my opinion about James Bond.
Roger Moore on Sci-Fi and Timothy Dalton on BBC.Still not enough Bond on tv
Saw parts of 2 Bond movies today, one with Timothy Dalton and one with Roger Moore. The new Bond is so much darker, and so much more realistic, if you can ever say that about a James Bond plot. Who ever thought I'd embrace change?
Timothy Dalton is a better Bond than Roger Moore. I said it.
I hope it's Timothy Dalton scented. I'm not sure I can pull off Roger Moore.
Alright so here's my new list of best bond's. 1. Daniel Craig- now this is a different bond, so it's almost unfair. But he's managed to bring a new element to the character that we've never seen. 2. Sean Connery- I mean, he's the original. Charming, yet ruthless. 3. Pierce Brosnan- this may anger people. A lot of people found Moore better, I disagree. I thought pierce brought a certain charm to bond. His one major downfall was Die Another Day. 4. Roger Moore- this is where I get critical. He never did it for me. He looked really old, lol. I know that's an empty critique but it took something away from his bond. 5. George Lazenby- he was actually a very good bond, but I didn't see him enough. He was the first to bring emotion to the character, but the audience just wasn't ready to see a tearful bond character. 6. Timothy Dalton- I had a lot of problems with him. He only had two movies, but they may have been the two worst. He always looked angry, and never really charming. I'm sure ill get a lot of opinion ...
I think he was hard done by - he was far better than Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton
Just remember, there's Timothy Dalton light at the end of the Roger Moore tunnel.
My brother went to see Skyfall and feels Daniel Craig is not a proper James Bond. He likens him to Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, as less than the right mix of the ingredients that make James Bond, James Bond. So we likely agree that Sean Connery is the quintessential James Bond and all others are compared to his benchmark. So the question is: If you were to rate the top 3 who would they be? Looking forward to seeing what the people think.
Sean Connery - The First James Bond and the womanizer type. Roger Moore - The second James Bond and the humorous type. Also in the science-fiction world. George Lazenby - One-timer Bond in the film In Her Majesty's Secret Service. Timothy Dalton - The Dark James Bond. Vengeance is the name of his game. Pierce Brosnan - The all-around James Bond. Humor, womanizer and revenge-driven. Daniel Craig - New-age James Bond. Physically peaked agent and is not afraid of getting hurt. YOU GUYS DECIDE.
Favorite bonds: Sean Connery, Daniel Craig, Roger Moore, George Lazenby (at least he was a fighter and didn't fight girls the whole time), Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan ***
Our James Bond series continues with Roger Moore in "A View to Kill" 4:30p & Timothy Dalton in "The Living Daylights"8p
"Skyfall" may have come out last week, but it's time to tag my friends as James Bond and the supporting characters. Ricardo Morello is Sean Connery, Franky J. Verdugo is Roger Moore, Jose Lizaola is Timothy Dalton, Alejandro Barboza is Daniel Craig, and I'm Pierce Brosnan. As for MI6, Amanda Alice Monge is M and Wiwo DeLonge is Q. Also, Joseph Grazone is Jaws.
If you don't know who Timothy Dalton or Roger Moore are, your opinions regarding the newest James Bond film are null and void.
Only one more Roger Moore film, and then its off to the Timothy Dalton train wrecks.
Cortisone shot # 2 in my heel today.I cannot describe to you the pain from that shot, but I am getting better. The day improves with Bond and basketball."Skyfall" " is excellent. It will satisfy the fans of the series, but,it also reveals a sad, but, not unexpected event.Daniel Craig has made James Bond his own character. He is unique.Far different from Sean Connery,Roger Moore,George Lazenby, who made one,"On Your Majesty's Service,Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan.Craig is Bond with muscle, and every bit as entertaining as his predecessors.
Daniel Craig is the best James Bond because he’s made 007 dangerous again. Sean Connery was cool, Roger Moore turned into a cartoon character, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan had the misfortune to appear in the franchise when it was tired and unwilling to do what was necessary to make it fresh again. But Craig added real danger to his icy cool portrayal, and sent Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace to a whole new level that the franchise hadn't experienced before. Full disclosure: While I grew up with Bond movies and liked most of them, I was never a huge fan of the franchise. But the Daniel Craig era turned me into a fanboy. I loved that they made Bond more about his physicality and brainpower than drowning us in a cacophony of unbelievable gadgets, flying cars and exploding pens. The latest, Skyfall, may be the very best in the 50 year old series. Javier Bardem is now one of the best of the Bond villains, and Bond fans will love all the clever shoutouts to the Bond touchstones of the past. There’s ...
Went to see "Skyfall", the new James Bond film, yesterday and I have to say that I like what they are doing with Bond, James Bond. First, they are making him a much more multi-faceted character which is a nice change after Roger Moore. Yes, I know he was several Bonds ago (and I did like Pierce Brosnan and may be the only person who actually liked Timothy Dalton) but it was Roger Moore and his cartoonish Bond that ruined it for me. There are many who liked him but, for me, the Bond movies became too cheeky and clever for me. Daniel Craig brings back some of the grit that we have missed since Sean Connery. Also, one of the things that had turned me off on Bond was the damned toys. I like my spies to win because they are smarter and tougher than the bad guy not because they have the cooler gadgets. In this film they actually poke some fun and pay some homage to this but they do it with with subtlety and style, in true 007 fashion. This is a much more personal film that gives us some insight into both ...
According to me best James Bond is order, 1) Sean Connery 2) Pierce Brosnan 3) Roger Moore 4) Daniel Craig 5) Timothy Dalton
I remember my first James Bond Movie... it was From Russia with Love... on my 10th Birthday, I went and saw Thunderball... (I wanted that jetpack for my birthday) This year it is 50 yrs of Bond... I have been a huge fan of Bond for years... my favorites were Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Bronson and Daniel Craig. (Roger Moore made it too campy and silly) Dalton brought it back to being more like Sean did, Pierce was the coolest Bond and next to Sean the BEST... but Daniel is more like the books. A cold killer... and Craig plays Bond the best as Fleming wrote him... And so ends my thoughts on Bond... lol
Q.1 Who was the first actor to portray Bond? a. Roger Moore b. George Lazenby c. Barry Nelson d. Timothy Dalton
I want to watch James Bond Skyfall. Being a James Bond fan, i prefer Never Say Never with Sean Connery and Kim Bassinger. But among all James Bond guys, I prefer Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan (names in periodical order) than Daniel Craig.
The elections are over.so.let debate something else. I think that Daniel Craig's portrayal of James Bond is much better than Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton or Roger Moore. What do you think?
Sean Connery,George Lazed,Roger Moore,Timothy Dalton,Pierce Brosenan,Daniel Craig who are this people.right answer gets holiday ticket to france with family for 2weeks...powered by DEOSKI clothing NIG
For those of you that are really that ignorant to the power of Lazenby, George featured inOn Her Majesty's Secret Service, what some die-hard fans revere as one of the leading movies in the James Bond series. The second Bond after Sean Connery and followed by Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton...
Have stumbled across BBCAmerica's Bond movie marathon. Even if it is Roger Moore & Timothy Dalton, that's my afternoon made.
Up to now I have never seen any 'Bond' film other than the recent Daniel Craig ones. Now thanks to the action channel, I have experienced multiple classics featuring Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, and even a random Timothy Dalton one. And now I can honestly say, there was a reason not to watch them!! Unless you want a good laugh... But seriously, I knew there was a reason I haven't seen these, totally validated! ;)
Watching "The Living Daylights" for the first time in years. And,well I'm just gonna say it: Timothy Dalton could kick Roger Moore's ***
They go from Roger Moore to Timothy Dalton.buzzkill
Oh.50 years ! James Bond has driven Aston Martin cars in at least eight out of the 23 films. The DB5 will make its sixth appearance in Skyfall after Goldfinger , Thunderball , GoldenEye , Tomorrow Never Dies and Casino Royale , the DB5 was seen in Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace and the Vantage V8 marked the return of the car to the franchise after two decades in The Living Daylights .From 1962 - Sean Connery’s rakish eyebrows to Pierce Brosnan’s smooth repartee, from angsty Timothy Dalton to foppish Roger Moore, and finally the coldly, cruel Daniel Craig.
In tribute to the release of the latest (25th or 26th, depending if you include non AON film production releases) James Bond Film, here is a bit of trivia to keep you all entertained: 1. Daniel Craig is only the 2nd Bond actor, next to Roger Moore, to be of "English" Descent. Sean Connery was Scottish while Timothy Dalton was Irish. 2. James Bond's military rank - prior to his induction into M16 - is Commander of the Royal Navy, one rank junior to Naval Captain. 3. The Double O (00) status isn't simply a prefix to an agent's code number, but rather, it denotes the authority to kill, injury or incapacitate on behalf of the crown, a trait that would later be incorporated into numerous American Spy fiction in the form of the "Fifth Amendment Rights" (See Mission Impossible and the video game Splinter Cell). 4. James Bond was written, and is still presently portrayed as, a man that enjoys numerous wine, luxury food and cigarettes - a trait that Flemming later reportedly regretted incorporating into the fictio ...
Roger Moore is the best Bond. Then it's this: Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, Bernard Cribbins, Michael Aspel, Daniel Craig.
in bed with the ultimate 007, from Roger Moore to Timothy Dalton as so on.
OK I havent seen any of the Daniel Craig 007 movies!! Are they good? B/c I just seen the trailer and he look like he's a beast!!! Grew up on Roger Moore,Timothy Dalton was horrible, but Pierce Bronsan was my favorite!!!
"Daniel Craig “Roger Moore is my Bond, who's yours?”" Timothy Dalton, he's the 1st Bond I ever knew
Who's your favorite James Bond actor? I'm looking at the trailer to this new 007 flick and I just can't get excited over Daniel Craig playing Bond. I've never liked him in this role. He doesn't have the class and debonaire that past Bonds had (okay, there was that kooky/quirky Timothy Dalton mistake we won't discuss). I believe the two best Bonds were Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. Both could kick your butt and you'd be happy about it. Roger Moore was "okay".
no no no! Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig, Timothy Dalton and then George Lazenby LOL
Well I'm coming to the end of my James Bond marathon thanks to Sky. Sean Connery pretty cool but films a bit dated. Roger Moore, greasy git and should never be allowed to be called Bond. Timothy Dalton a bit of a meth. Pierce Brosnan perfect!!! Excellent films and he is truly James Bond. Daniel Craig, good films but not really Bond.
Official best James Bond actors power rankings 1. Sean Connery in the first 5 2. Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye/World is Not Enough 3. Roger Moore in everything but Moonraker 4. Sean Connery's other roles 5. Timothy Dalton 6. Brosnan in his other two movies 7. Daniel Craig in his "action/explosion" Bond films 9001. George Lazenby in Her Majesty's Secret Service
Since today I am spotlighting everything James Bond, here is my list of the best actors who portrayed Bond.James Bond! Here it is. 7. Woody Allen 6.George Lazensby 5. Timothy Dalton 4. Roger Moore 3. Pierce Brosnan 2. Daniel Craig & 1. Sean Connery(That was a no brainer!!) Who is your favorite Bond?
Just found out there's a new James Bond film coming out: made my day!! Favorite Bonds: 1) Sean Connery (the original) 2) Pierce Brosnan (sexiest, by far) 3) Daniel Craig (gorgeous, but not refined enough. He, also, didn't know how Bond drinks his martinis. Shaken, not stirred. Every Bond afficionado knows that.) 4) Roger Moore (handsome, but too rickety. By the time he did A View To A Kill, I was worried he'd get hurt.) 5) Timothy Dalton (attractive, but was cast in some of the worst Bond movies) 6) George Lazenby (the one-time Bond, in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, 1969. People always forget him: poor George.)
3rd try! I think Laim would make a wonderful James Bond. Do it, Liam! Liam Neeson’s unlikely status as one of the box office’s top action stars is a little ironic, as the actor was reportedly offered Goldeneye, but turned it down because he didn’t want to star in action films, really? Others include: Mel Gibson, too short, Clint Eastwood, thought the role should be played by a Brit, Michael Caine, passed on the offer, James Brolin, Roger Moore changed his mind and decided not to retire yet, Sam Neill, lost out to Timothy Dalton who himself was passed over when he was younger for looking too boyish, Cary Grant, at 59, he thought he was too old (NOT), Michael Gambon passed on the part—though with a sense of humor. He said he was too “bald, had a double chin, and had girls’s *** ” Producers responded to the self-deprecating note with equal wit: “so has Sean Connery, we just put a wig on him.”
I like Daniel Craig in the 007 series BUT it's only between Sean Connery and Roger Moore as the best..that Timothy Dalton guy...naaah LOL
I liked Timothy Dalton as bond, a far more serious bond after Roger Moore. I prefer Moore as Simon Templar.
First phase of Bond with bond was over today with screening of On her Majesty's Secret Service. Slight change in schedule due to Durga puja clashing with schedule screening of Timothy Dalton's The living Day light, the fourth bond of the franchise will be now screened on 13th october. Roger Moore's Live and Let Die will be now screened on 12th. There will be no screening on 20th. Golden Eye and Casino Royale will remain as planned on 27th and 28th October. Thanking you.
James Bond marks 50th anniversary. There are 22 official Bond movies to date. First Bond in Dr. No was Sean Connery and in the 23rd Bond movie 'Skyfall' which will be released in a few weeks the Bond is Daniel Craig. Number of movies as Bond by each actor: Sean Connery - 6 George Lazenby- 1 Roger Moore. - 7 Timothy Dalton - 2 Pierce Brosnan - 4 Daniel Craig(current) 3 Daniel Craig is the first actor to have been born after the Bond series began. First Bond movie Dr. No grossed $60million at the box office. Most recent Bond movie Quantum Of Solace grossed $600million. 10 times jump in 50 years. All 22 Bond movies collectively amassed $5.1billion.
Bond rankings - 4. "Live and Let Die" - This is truly a fun movie to watch. Roger Moore's debut as the secret agent is well done. While he didn't make the role his own, he also didn't try to be Sean Connery, which was the trap that doomed both George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton. The plot is easy to follow. Jane Seymour plays a convincing Bond Girl. And it features the best actor to play the character of Felix Leiter, David Hedison. Plus, who isn't pumped by the theme song? Roger Moore started with 3 good Bonds, but this was his debut and the second best debut by any actor to play 007.
Wait... That's Roger Moore as Bond... Nodding at Pierce Brosnan as Bond, Chasing Daniel Craig as Bond... Who's following Sean Connery as Bond, Who's trying to ram Timothy Dalton as Bond off the road?!?!! Did someone just drive by shoot at George Lazenby as Bond?!?!?!?! All in classic Bond cars!?! Just to advertise all the Bond movies coming to Sky Movies. Sky, I salute you.
Also, Timothy Dalton is an awesome James Bond. I've been missing out all this time. Still love Roger Moore, though.
When I was a kid, my favorite James Bond was Roger Moore, but now that I'm grown up, it's Timothy Dalton. Oh, wait...
Very excited by the Season on Sky Movies!favourite Bonds in order:Sean Connery, Daniel Craig,George Lazenby, Roger Moore,Timothy Dalton
A lot of what I learned about fighting I learned from watching Bond, James Bond, 007. Not Daniel Craig's new, rebooted Bond...those are great but weren't available in my formative years. Same for Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan. And I most certainly DO NOT mean Roger Moore. No, I'm talking Sean Connery and George Lazenby.
just likes 2 lash dats y he picked Roger Moore...all were top notch actors tho...George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton were just...
Today's James Bond Rankings: Daniel Craig is Connery is next I loved Timothy Dalton's take on Bond, only problem they leaned too much on Roger Moore's Bond tricks. Dalton would have been great in Casino Royale Pierce did a really good job with Bond, even if 2 of the films were a bit weak. I actually feel with more films, George Lazenby could have established himself as Bond Roger Moore is the one I grew up with and unquestionably the worst of the lot!
Last day of vacation... still three movies behind where I wanted to be, but at least I moved James Bond into the '80s. (I'm still stuck on the Roger Moore-era, though, and I don't think I'll be able to watch three Bond films in a row to bring me up to Timothy Dalton... too many other films on the "to be watched" list.)
Psychologists have long speculated about whether birth order influences personality. Research indicates that there are generalities that seem to be true in many families. The findings are based on a family of three, but can be adapted for other combinations, too. In summary: 1. First born children (only children, or children born after a long gap) tend to be independent, stubborn, strong-willed, driven, success oriented, efficient, organized and perfectionists. They make excellent leaders, politicians, entrepreneurs and managers. On the negative side, they tend to more anxious; have unrealistically high standards and expectations; be over achievers; and can be highly discouraged by perceived failures. Famous first born children include: Bill Cosby; Hillary Rodham Clinton; Oprah Winfrey; Winston Churchill; presidents Bush (George W.), Johnson, Carter and Truman; Saddam Hussein; Joseph Stalin; Mussolini; Sylvester Stallone, Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. 2. Second born children tend to be in ...
Hey! listen up...dis goes to all d movies freaks & buffs like me in d house...who do you consider d best actor among d ff 4 potrayin d role of James Bond 007 ova d yrs... i.Roger Moore in Live &Let Die, For ur eyes only, The spy who loved me ii.Sean Connery in From Russia with love,Dr No, Goldfinger iii.Timothy Dalton in Licence To Kill, The living daylights iv.Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow Never Dies, Die Another Day v.Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace... So who do u tink is d best?
Roger Moore is my least fav bond. I do love Sean Connery cos he's Sean freakin Connery. I grew up watching Timothy Dalton.
Roger Moore was no Sean Connery, but he was also no Timothy Dalton.
My favorite actors as James Bond: 1: Sean Connery - in my opinion he will always be the original Bond. 2. Daniel Craig - a more serious Bond, and a bit younger. The better choice to carry on the series. 3. Pierce Brosnan - was very good. Didn't expect to see him leave the role. 4. Roger Moore - Brought too much comedy to the role, but I still liked him. 5. Timothy Dalton - well mixed with Brosnan and Moore's Bond. Sorry... didn't like George Lazenby at all. I don't even think I watched his outing as Bond.
did we forget George Lazenby or Timothy Dalton or Roger Moore?
Indiana Jones or James Bond. Jones includes Crystal Skull, and Bond includes Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton.
I can see that..but for the same reasons I enjoy Roger Moore and Sean Connery..Timothy Dalton is not as impressive lol
grew up watching Roger Moore but Timothy Dalton is my fave sniffle
Roger Moore, no Timothy Dalton, no wait, I'm doing something wrong..
Roger Moore is the oldest looking Bond I've watched. Well Okay Timothy Dalton as well to some extent.
definitely...Roger Moore was fine in a cheesy kind of way!! Timothy Dalton...nope, not for me!!
A view to a kill by Daran Daran check it out or just watch the Bond movie. I personally like Timothy Dalton the most but I guess Roger Moore is alright.
Hot outside, so I am having a 007 movie marathon today! I have them all and I started yesterday. Almost done with the Roger Moore films, then on to Timothy Dalton. Have a great day everyone!
Timothy Dalton 3rd best and Roger Moore is nice, but I can't see Daniel Craig as a great Bond, he's better than George Lazenby
This post talks about Prometheus, gangsters and James Bond: 1. Prometheus. I loved it. Admittedly, some characters could have been fleshed out/written better and some shots/scenes took away from the film a little, but overall it was great. The set pieces, the sci-fi tech. What I liked most about the story is that it's not Alien. Sure, there are nods to it and by being familiar with the franchise you can piece some things together but Prometheus tells its own story and only tries about 10% to really be a prequel. And Idris Elba and Michael Fassbender killed it, which is funny because: 2. James Bond. Now, a lot of people are hardcore about the details (brunette, Englishman) but Sean Connery is Scottish, George Lazenby is Australian, Timothy Dalton is Welsh, Pierce Brosnan is Irish and Daniel Craig is blonde. The only person who fit was Roger Moore and yet everything worked out fine. I've seen all the films and read several of Fleming's novels and I can say that I am completely comfortable with both fan's ch ...
If there is a James Bond movie on tv and it's not starring Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton then you can guarantee I'll be watching
From Sean Connery to Roger Moore to Timothy Dalton to Pierce Brosnan to Daniel Craig, all the "007"s no matter how bad the acting,we enjoy em
Got to be Roger Moore for me, though I thought Timothy Dalton also did a good job. Agree on Jaws as best baddy - quality! :)
Roger Moore when I was younger , worst one Timothy Dalton
Roger Moore but apart from Timothy Dalton they're all v gd
author Ian Fleming -who brought us James Bond- was born on this date in 1908. He died at age 56 in 1964. He wrote 12 novels based on the character James Bond and 9 short stories... Ranking the actors who played James Bond in the movies 6-George Lazenby 5-Timothy Dalton 4-Pierce Brosnan 3-Daniel Craig 2-Roger Moore 1-Sean Connery
THE Miss Moneypenny, Lois Maxwell, played M's secretary in fourteen Bond movies and spanned three Bond's. She swooned over Connery and Lazenby but had real spark and chemistry with Roger Moore (with whom she'd worked on The Saint and The Persuaders) Recognising that it would have looked ridiculous to have her lust after Timothy Dalton, the part was recast (miscast?) with Caroline Bliss taking over for two movies. Samanthat Bond did a good job with Brosnan but the part will always be Maxwell's. She had charm, dignity and saved Bond's *** on many occasions. Lois Maxwell sadly died in 2007, a true Bond movie treasure.
"The Living Daylights" - yes, they were now running out of cool Fleming titles! A new Bond, a new (short) era! With a script oddly written for Roger Moore's style, Timothy Dalton was great in many places, and of all the 20th century Bond's probably closest to what they're doing now with Craig. Although Pierce Brosnan had been cast for this one, the producers of "Remington Steele" a US TV show he starred in, wouldn't release him from his contract for the next series, that series would never be made, but it was too late for Pierce for the time being. It is cool that one of the first things Dalton does is headbutt someone, that's when we knew Roger was really gone. I like a lot of this film, John Barry seems back on form, the fight on the Hercules at the end is spectacular, scenes with Dalton and John Rhys-Davies are tense and well played, so a lot of good stuff. I really like the scene where Koskov is "recaptured" by the KGB.
Although I class Roger Moore as a it was definitely time to hand over Bond to someone younger...on to the Timothy Dalton films...
I own it! Original autographs of George Lazenby,Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Sir Roger Moore.
Roger Moore was one of the best bonds. Timothy Dalton was the worst. Did you ever watch the TV program Saint?
I would possess the qualities of George Lazenby, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton.
Roger Moore was Ok as Bond but just Ok 2 me. It was watchable but Timothy Dalton.smh
Quantum Of Solace - 2008 Coming soon. Looking forward to it. Casino Royale - 2006 Casino Royale (2-Disc Widescreen Edition) My favorite film by far. Daniel Craig, despite all of the criticism by Pierce Brosnan fans, inhabited the character and made a near perfect Bond film. He makes all of the previous Bond actors, with the exception of Sean Connery and possibly Timothy Dalton, look like *** Don't think so? When was the last time you saw a Bond picture where the character took so much abuse and his marked up face showed it? And that poisoning scene was brilliant. Die Another Day - 2002 Die Another Day (Full Screen Special Edition) This film is the second best in the Brosnan collection. It had its misfires (some hokey dialogue that didn't work) and it was criticized for having too much product placement, however, if you were in the theater you had a good-popcorn-eatin' time watching it. It felt like a return to a seventies Roger Moore film with more polish, better sets and gadgets, and excellent actio ...
