Robert Kiyosaki, Author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Many well known authors, including Richard Poe, Mark Victor Hansen, Bryan Tracy and Robert Kiyosaki, have extolled the virtues of Network Marketing. Entrepreneurs such as Warren Buffet and companies like Virgin, Sara Lee and Time Warner are buying Network Marketing/direct selling companies. According to Buffet, “dollar for dollar, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.” Fortune Magazine called the industry, “the best kept secret in the business world.” At Sugr and Spice we have combined this concept of direct selling with social media. Business Insights From Robert Kiyosaki Mac AttramNov 06, 2013 Robert Kiyosaki is a man who needs no introduction. Big in stature, presence and expertise, the bestselling author and businessman started a revolution with the Rich Dad, Poor Dad book series. Robert has written over 15 books that have combined sales of over 26 million worldwide. Robert's business interests include property, precious metals and natural gas. My business partner Kurt Won and I were fortunate enough to catch up with Robert recently for an exclusive interview for readers of The Huffington Post. Is now a good time or a bad time to grow a business? The state of the economy is not the issue when it comes to growing a business. The relevant questions are always: What business are you in? Furthermore, is it adapting to the times? For example, when the Real Estate bubble in the United States was getting ready to pop, it was a bad time to be in the business of buying investment Real Estate. However, when the bubble popped, it was a great ...

This one is three years overdue. . Welcome to the Archive!. Robert Kiyosaki's 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad'. Cheers!
Robert Kiyosaki in his book, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”, asked the question: “Does school prepare children for the real world?” “Study hard and get good grades and you will find a high-paying job with great benefits”, parents used to say. But gone are those days! There has been a paradigm shift from focus on paper qualification to skills acquisition in the last couple of decades. But rather unfortunately, Nigeria and other African nations are awaking to these realities rather too late. It is absolute disillusionment for a 21st century student to have a mindset that a first class degree is sufficient to land him that plum job when he knows next to nothing about how real corporations are run. It is a saddening reality that prompts me to address this anomaly as leaving the status quo spells doom for the Nigerian future. The University of Lagos only recently had its convocation where over 6,000 graduates received degrees in different categories. This writer could not but wonder what these graduates woul ...

Just know that it’s fear that keeps most people working at a job. The fear of not paying their bills. The fear of being fired. The fear of not having enough money. the fear of starting over. That’s the price of studying to learn a profession or trade, and then working for money. Most people become a slave to money… and then get angry at their boss.” ― Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Robert Kiyosaki, famed author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, often gets questioned "Is 'Rich Dad' a real person? There appears to be a lot of evidence and lack of evidence to say both yes and no. But it's not important. Here is why... If you allow me the privilege of entertaining an extremely hypothetical thought: What if it were proven right now beyond a shadow of a doubt with 100% accurate, truthful, factual, peer reviewed, tested, investigated, and made public upon taking into all possible counter arguments and evidence that the bible (and God) are fictional? I predict three things would happen. 1. It would ruin a lot of people's day. 2. Offensive Christian-like religious wars would end. 3. Everyone who believed it to be true will still continue to practice the fundamental lessons taught by scriptures as a means to improve their life. Because those philosophies are universal truths regardless of the author or genre it originates from. Fore there will always be people living to date who serve as a bridge betwe ...

Let me clarify the question that Nancy asked me on radio yesterday regarding my hero Robert Kiyosaki in relation to Robert filing for bankruptcy. Robert decided to file for bankruptcy for one of his company whereby his associates had instituted a law suit against him. Robert did that as a strategy and that has not affected his wealth. Robert Kiyosaki and his Rich Dad company are financially sound.
As someone once said, "Life is a cruel teacher. It punishes you first, and then gives you the lesson." Yet like it or not, that is the process of true learning. Most of us have said, "If I knew back then what I know today, life would be different.".Rich Dad's Guide To Investing - Robert Kiyosaki.

“In the real world outside of academics, something more than just grades is required. I have heard it called "guts," "chutzpah," "balls," "audacity," "bravado," "cunning," "daring," "tenacity" and "brilliance." This factor, whatever it is labeled, ultimately decides one's future much more than school grades.” ― Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad, Poor Dad

The power of two-plus! For years, the Rich Dad, Poor Dad Series were lying dormant in the computer of Robert Kiyosaki. He wanted to publish the book but wasn’t sure how or when. However, the story changed when Sharon Lechter came in contact with him. Few months later, Rich Dad Poor Dad was born and for more than 8 years running, it has remained the best-seller – sold over 25million copies world over! His master-mind of a group of four has catapulted Cash Flow Inc. to a multimillion dollar company. The same is true of Donald Trump who had the business idea and partially, good writing skills. His written works were scattered in his library hoping to be organised and published someday. However, the “someday” appeared as soon as Meredith McIver showed up at The Trump Towers and Donald Trump became a best-seller. Having been friends since graduate school, Bill Hewlet and David Packered came together and formed HP computers (from their surnames). Their joint ideas and unrelenting, undiluted focus pushed ...
(55) So with Michele getting her new job as promised, Dorian finally got her secret ripe. It was time to open up business. He would only open up his flip flop stand on the weekends. He had too much homework during the week to run his small business. He place a table in front of his building. A fruit squeezer and slushy machine sat on top of it. Chocolate chip cookies wrapped in plastic were next to them. The plastic cups were hidden away in a colder where the Ice was. With his financial bible (Rich Dad, Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki) instilled in him, he was ready for his first business endeavor. Dorian believed in assets over liabilities. He knew how to do a Balance Sheet therefore he could see his cashflow. It was the best time to start a flip flop stand because it was Summer time in Miami. There was potential costumers on every corner.

When you read what he just wrote in ENTIRETY who does HE sound like, e.g., "This is why I wrote Conspiracy of the Rich. Those of you who read the book know, the Central Banks of the world run the world. Now they want to own the world. The way they own the world is by driving the world into bankruptcy. One of the best ways to become rich is to purchase assets in bankruptcy. " And, "In the end, it makes not one bit of difference if Democrats or Republicans win. The Central Banks have already won. " My investments have not changed. I remain an entrepreneur, always building my business. I continue to invest in income-producing Real Estate using as much debt (OPM) as possible. I am not in the stock market. I invest in oil production. And rather than save money, I have been saving gold and silver for years. As I wrote in ...

So I'm reading 'The Business of The 21st Century" by Robert Kiyosaki also author of best seller "Rich Dad poor Dad" I began to wonder why so many of us allow other people to determine our self worth? We live in a Country where we are free to do anything we want. But yet we allow other people dictate and control what we do and when we do it. That's not Freedom. So ask yourself this, WHY do you do what you do? If the answer has anything to do with family, then ask yourself this. Is what I'm doing allowing me to spend the quality time with my family that they deserve? Am I able to provide my family with everything they want? Most of you will say no. To me that's a problem. One, for your well being and two it's not fair to your children. My point is this. There is a solution, a real opportunity to live without boundaries. To be truly free and live like we where meant to live. Not shackled by our ankles to a JOB making someone else rich allow them to be free. It just doesn't make sense. And it is for these rea ...

“Network Marketing offers the education my rich dad taught: build your own network rather than working for a network.” – Robert Kiyosaki
Choose to be Rich! Life is full of choices. In college, we had the freedom to choose a career. In relationships, two people have a choice to stay together no matter what the circumstances. In every aspect of life, you are always presented with options. Businessman, entrepreneur, educator and best-selling author Robert Kiyosaki said that being poor, middle-class or rich is also a choice. For instance, if every payday you go to the mall and buy new clothes, new shoes, or eat in a very expensive restaurant, you choose to become poor; you spend all your money and wait for the next payday. In another example, if you acquire new liabilities like a new cell phone or laptop through credit, then you choose to become a middle-class person; every month, money flows out of your pocket and you work very hard to pay for these credits. But if every payday you realize that you work hard for that money and that it should also work hard for you, then you start to think like a rich person. You may decide to invest it in bus ...

“Most people work very hard, for little money, clinging to the illusion of Job Security, looking forward to 3-week vacation each year and a skimpy pension after 45 years of work. If that excites you, go for it. Most people never see the trap they are in. Every morning, they get up, they get ready, and hurry out to work. Do they look happy to you? Why do they do it? Because everybody else is. Every day they wake up with this fear gnawing at their soul. They rush off to work, hoping that a paycheck will kill the fear. Money is running their lives, and they refuse to tell the truth about it.” Robert Kiyosaki, 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad'

CLASSICS: WHAT VALUE ? - The Memoir of Lekan Olayiwola (Part 3) During an interview I conducted when I was editor of classics press club, I asked one of my friends and senior colleague who was about graduating what he thought his chances of getting a job were and he said to me, “we have been shown the way. It’s left for us to find our own path.” I doubt whether he fully understood the ramification of that poignant remark back then. Even so, there’s a ring of truth to it and I never forgot it. I had to find my own path, kind of create my own luck in the real world. I knew instinctively it would be tough. Often, the hardest hit are the book smarts who seem dangerously naïve about how the real world works. Robert Kiyosaki of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad fame observed that your banker will never ask you for your report card. They ask for your Financial Statement. Nobody ever asked me for my academic transcripts in all the dozen plus interviews I attended. Business people are not too interested in what you ...
