It's the end of a good day. We went to Galveston this morning and did our usual - a ride on the ferry (Gibb Gilchrist and Robert C. Lanier have open decks between the main deck and the upper deck (where most people go) that have benches to sit on while watching for dolphins, pelicans, or just the ships rollin' in.), then lunch at The Original Mexican Cafe (loves me some mole', I duz), then off to Moody Gardens rainforest pyramids. The giant river otters were sunning on the sandy area, the monkeys were wandering all about, and glimpsed a different type of bird of paradise (I think). The drive home was uneventful, followed by a wonderful pot of black-eyed peas Kati had started the night before. We ended the night with The Davinci code. Now it's off to bed in prep for the 5:30 am workout.
