"Fire With Fire" on Netflix isn't bad. But you can tell that they had certain big name actors in for 2-3 day shoots. Bruce Willis, Vincent D'onofrio & Rosario Dawson, Richard Schiff (Toby Ziegler from West Wing), Josh Duhamel (Transformers, Las Vegas) are others. Basically, while the movie script was interesting, the trouble with it is that you can tell all of the actors are disconnected. And the film seems rushed. Like they only had 3 takes with Willis saying his BS and only had D'onofrio do his "Christopher Walkin" thing in the police lineup once or twice. Shame too, because its a good flick that could have been something better. Maybe that's why it went straight to Blu-Ray & Netflix Instant.

THE GREAT GOD PAN at Playwrights Horizons is a smart and sensitive play beautifully directed and played brilliantly by everyone in the cast - probably my vote for best all round OB production since TRIBES., and it is so infinitely superior to the spate of mediocre to poor Broadway shows that have opened this season (not of course VIRGINIA WOOLF). A very nice gentleman, Richard Schiff, past away this last Sunday morning. He will be missed by all. He was a great singer as well as a great man! I just remember he really wanted me to sing with The Memphis Men of Harmony in which he sang bass with. I will try to make their next rehearsal if possible.

NCIS Season Finale in 10 minutes. Do the producers have it in for West Wing castmembers? Sure, they cast Mark Harmon (Simon Donovan) as the hero, but they gave him an awful personal life. Then they made Michael O'Neill a villain, now Richard Schiff. What gives? Whatever is, "On it, Boss!"

I used to like the show NCIS. Unfortunately, I've been busy and haven't seen it in a while. After stepping away for a bit, I now have a new perspective. The acting is still incredible. Tonight the guest stars were Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) and Richard Schiff (West Wing). Mark Harmon is a fantastic actor. He proved himself to me with 'The Deliberate Stranger' when he played the serial killer, Ted Bundy. Scary good! He and Jamie Lee were great together. But the computer stuff is just stupid. Really stupid. Totally unbelievable. And you can tell that the writers use this omnipotent computer to avoid having to write intelligently. It really could be a great show. But when they bring in that element which is unbelievable to the point of silliness, it lowers the quality of the entire experience. Who is producing this stuff? Who is directing?
