Salt City Hoops’ Andy Larson talks Randy Foye to ESPN.com, the Denver Nuggets have finalized a three-team deal that will send Andre Iguodala to the Golden State Warriors in a sign-and-trade for a $9 million trade exception. Additionally, Denver will receive free agent shooting guard Randy Foye from the Utah Jazz, who took back draft picks as well as Richard Jefferson, Andres Biedrins and Brandon Rush — all of whom possess expiring contracts — from the Warriors. But aside from his long-distance shooting prowess, not much else is known about the journeyman combo guard; therefore, RMC reached out to fellow TrueHoop blogger Andy Larson of Salt City Hoops.com to learn more about the newest addition to the Denver Nuggets. 1. Randy Foye started 72 games last season for the Jazz, the most in his seven-year ca ...
Warriors might be trading Richard Jefferson and Brandon Rush to give more salary to Andre Iguodala
NBA Week In Review: 7/1/13 - 7/7/13 It has been a crazy start to free agency this summer, but one story stood above all the rest. Dwight Howard, who many say has been dissatisfied with the Lakers organization, decided to take his talents to the Lone Star State and sign with the Rockets. Howard left an extra contract year on the table and a decent chunk of money to leave Los Angeles, but he felt that Houston gave him the best chance to win. BREAKING NEWS: The Golden State Warriors will send the expiring contracts of Richard Jefferson, Andris Biedrins, Brandon Rush, and First Round Draft picks in 2014 and 2017 to the Utah Jazz!! The reason behind this is to create more cap space for Dwight Howard after signing star SG/SF Andre Iguodala to a $48 Million contract! The Warriors are still making attempts to sign Howard! If Dwight is to go the Warriors to play along side Iguodala and Curry, how well will they do? Can they possibly win the Western Conference Championship or maybe even an NBA Championship, or will they end up just like the Lakers? -Carter
