Introducing the "Class of 2014" :) - In the 1990's, british football was ruled by a bunch of clubs with big power and money (Liverpool, Arsenal, ...etc). Then a Scottish man called Alex came in to Manchester United, a club with big "cultural" history but no budget and power. So, Alex decided to use the most powerful of all weapons... "YOUTH"! He introduced the "Class of 92". And five years later, via the commercial and on-field success of Manchester United, British football (whose pride was destroyed by violence, hatred, scandals and hooliganism of a "certain" british team's fanatic fans - you know who) returned at the top of world football again and Manchester United became one of the world's greatest and favourite team along with Barcelona and Real Madrid. Today, Manchester United stands at a crossroad again. Teams like Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea are out here again, with their money to "buy" success. I always wonder where they get "such" money from, because they are clubs with low fan base a ...

What a coup it would be By all accounts Ligue 1 big spenders AS Monaco are concerned they will not manage to adhere to UEFA’s FFP (Financial Fair Play) guidelines; this despite having sold James Rodriguez to Real Madrid earlier this summer, and are looking to find a prospective interested party for fellow Colombian Falcao. Some sources state that such a move may be a temporary one, with a possible loan deal leading to an outright sale, and it’s a move that may just appeal to Falcao. Liverpool are clearly a side on the rise and Brendan Rodgers has the funds from the sale of Luis Suar ...

Bayern Munchen v Real Madrid // Tip Over 3.5 In this UEFA Champions League second leg semifinal between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, Madrid is in great form. They have won their last eight matches, scoring 25 goals and conceding just once. Today’s game is most important of the season for Real Madrid as they seek to reach their first Champions League final in many years, and they are well prepared with star man Cristiano Ronaldo to start after a recent hamstring problem, while Pepe, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale who missed out on the 4-0 thrashing over Osasuna are all fit to feature tonight. On the other hand Bayern Munich are on their worst run of form this season, despite defeating Werder Bremen 5-2 at the weekend this month they suffered three defeats out of their last six games losing to Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and FC Augsburg, also in Champion Leagues they lost at the Allianz Arena to Arsenal and Man City. Is £35m Benzema now the main Arsenal transfer target? If things keep going the way they are, Arsenal fans will start to call Real Madrid our feeder club. It seems that almost every other player that the Gunners are linked with is currently playing at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Spain. Having failed, for whatever reason, to land Gonzalo Higuain as well as Mesut Ozil last summer, media reports are suggesting that Karim Benzema, the French international that was preferred to Higuain, could be for sale at the end of the season. The Mirror is reporting that the giants of La Liga are planning to offload Benzema to make way for Sergio Aguero from Man City. Other reports suggest that it is Liverpool’s Luis Suarez that they are after. Either one would help Arsenal, by weakening our rivals and possibly seeing Benzema arrive in north London. He is French after all, with quite a few of his international team-mates at the Emirates, and he already knows that Mesut Ozil would provide him with plenty of ammunitio ...

Who is responsible for firing Moyes? He has done Man Utd more harm than good. The way we played last night i wonder what Bayern will do to us. So many teams changed coaches at the start of the season yet they are doing fine. Real Madrid, Bayern, Man City, & Everton serve as examples. I don't understand why some people are saying this Moyes guy should be given enough time... Its not a question of time but tactics. We can give him a century I still doubt if his tactics would change much. Can he please be sacked. He has caused us enough heartaches.
Bayern Munich has already won the Bundesliga. In England, Man City may lose their next 3 games at will, but they will still win that league. In Spain today, Barcelona v Celta de Vigo, Sevilla v Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid v Granada. Its tough this time round!

Real Madrid prepare to take on FCBarcelona at the Santiago B. this Sunday at 21:00 (09:00pm). Real Madrid are on a great run of form at the moment whilst FCBarcelona's form is like that of a roller coaster as sometimes they play excellently such as last week against Man City and Osasuna but other times they played awful like against R. Sociedad and Valladolid. However, as A.Iniesta said in his interview, form does not count on games like that on Sunday and if Barca are to fight to retain the title they must win this Sunday to move within a point of R. Madrid. VISCA EL BARCA!

Stamford Bridge side set to sign Uruguayan? French source Le10Sport claim that Chelsea have jumped to the head of the ever growing queue of suitors keen to land Napoli goal machine Edinson Cavani. The West London side have reportedly triggered the 26 year old forward’s €63m (£53m) release clause and have done so before the likes of Real Madrid and Man City, leaving many to believe that the Uruguayan is on his way to Stamford Bridge. Indeed Cavani could well be one of Jose Mourinho’s first signings of the summer and arguably resolves Chelsea’s main area of weakness, namely the lack of a prolific forward. Fernando Torres managed just eight goals in 36 Premier League matches last term and Demba Ba proved something of a disappointment since his January move to join the Blues and even though Mourinho seems keen to welcome back youngster Romelu Lukaku back into the first team set-up after an excellent season on loan at West Brom, there is still scope for the signing of a ‘Marquee’ capture to boost ...

Jose Mourinho Draws Up Seven ManWish-List Ahead of £100m Chelsea Spending Spree Stamford Bridge side set for a busy summer. Returning Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is ready to spark a ‘flurry’ of transfer activity as he seeks to begin a Blues spending spree that could pass the £100mmark according to the Daily Star . The 50 year old Portuguese bosswill look to bring in FC Porto centre-back Eliaqium Mangala and Vitesse Arnhem youngster Marco van Ginkel, capped as senior national team level for France and Holland respectively, moves that could set the West London side back around £28m, but that will just be the beginning of what could prove to be a very busy summer for theformer Real Madrid boss. In order to strengthen his Chelsea attack Mourinho has set his sights on a number of high-profile targets with Napoli ace Edinson Cavani, Zenit forward Hulk, Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic, German international Andre Schurrle and Man City man Edin Dzeko all on his wish-list, with the Blues manager looking to ...
Spanish source AS claim that a host of clubs are ready to offer Cristiano Ronaldo €60m (£50m) to run down his current Real Madrid contract so that he can then leave the Bernabeu on a free transfer in the summer of 2015. Man United, Man City, PSG and AS Monaco are also willing to make such an offer, one that the La Liga side will not be happy to learn about. The 28 year old has steadfastly refused to sign a new contract and this has heightened speculation that the Real Madrid goal machine could leave this summer but perhaps those sides interested in acquiring the Portuguese international are more interested in playing the waiting game. Clearly any move to persuade Real Madrid to sell their prized asset would set a club back a figure in the region, if not in excess of, the £80m the Spanish side paid Man United for Ronaldo back in 2009. After all the player has become a more bankable player in every sense of the word.
Juventus are continuing talks with Real Madrid about Gonzalo Higuain and Man City about Carlos Tevez, but will only sign 1 of the strikers.

Expressing his frustration all season about being unhappy in Spain, Ronaldo has signaled his intentions to not renew his contract with Real Madrid, the Daily Mail reports. Madrid would be keen to recover part of the £80million they spent 4 years ago rather than see the Portuguese leave for free in 2015. The Sun also supports the story by claiming that Manchester United are looking to firm up their interest in bringing their former superstar back to Old Trafford. Real Madrid are lining up a HUGE bid of £85m for Gareth Bale as well as splashing out £40m for Luis Suarez.
If Sheikh Mansour wants to put Man City on the European map he should really think twice about his managerial appointment. I don't think there is a better coach right now than the outgoing Bayern Munchen's Heynckes right now after winning the treble. People might be tempted to say this is the best Bayern Munich's side ever. I think Heynckes will do well at the ailing Real Madrid or the trophy hungry City. Can Manuel Pelligrini bring tropies to the Eastlands? maybe, but I am going to go ahead and rule him out getting past the quarter finals in the Champions League next season. On another note what's going on with heat? Lebron is going to have to go back again to his Cleveland days otherwise he'll miss out on a back to back ring. I hear people entertaining the thought of him being one of the best ever with 4 MVPs well I think he needs a couple of rings to be named in the same sentence as the Kobes, MJs etc.
Real Madrid need help from Man City in chase for £60 million man? There has been some reports on the Daily Mirror website which have claimed Spanish giants Real Madrid need to sell Pepe to Manchester City, so they can raise funds to land Tottenham’s Gareth Bale. Real are only prepared to bid £60million for Welsh wizard Bale, whereas both Manchester clubs, Chelsea and PSG have made it clear they would offer £80m if given any encouragement. It leaves the Spanish giants desperate to raise funds to win the escalating battle for Bale’s signature. While £20m-rated Pepe may be sacrificed – it is hard to imagine City paying that much for the controversial 30-year-old. (Daily Mirror) It will be a very interesting summer and everybody will be waiting to see what will happen with the Bale saga.

The Santos forward was getting booed by fans before calling time on South America and choosing the Catalan giants over Real Madrid and Chelsea That Neymar would eventually don a Barcelona shirt was never in much doubt. His mind had long been made up. It was a case of when, rather than if. The 21-year-old leaves Brazil with over 100 senior goals, having twice been named the continent’s best player and having starred so regularly in domestic Brazil he became the first player since Pele to be declared hors concours. His performances had produced equally stunning results for his club, too, as he led the Peixe to three state championship titles, a Copa do Brasil and their first Copa Libertadores success in almost half a century. Neymar was the hottest property in world football. His father revealed there were as many as six bids with the highest arriving from Chelsea, and a total package worth more than the €120 million offered by Real Madrid on Friday. Wigan Athletic have won more trophies than Borussia Dortmund, Man City and Real Madrid put together this season.
B. Dortmund Vs B. Munchen, wot a match it will be tonight! I will cast my vote for BVB bcos they re relatively unknown interms of their players nd they re playing beautiful and scintillating football. Moreso, they emerged top in a group tagged d group of champions (comprises champions of four different league in europe namely Ajax, Real Madrid, Man City and B.Dortmund), if they win it tonight it will not be by luck as in d case of Chelsea. I want to also hope history will not favour Bayern Munchen tonight bcos any team that conquered FC Barcelona in d semis will always go all d way to lift d trophy (Real Madrid 2002, Man Utd 2008, Inter Milan 2010 and d most luckiest team to win Champions League, Chelsea 2012). Best of luck to BVB.

The Telegraph, Daily Mail, the Star and The Times All seem to agree about the big picture. Wayne Rooney is heading for the Manchester United exit door this summer. After being axed from the United squad of Tuesday night for the Champions League match with Real Madrid, whispers began getting louder that Sir Alex Ferguson has finally decided to get rid of Wayne Rooney. Rooney, who famously announced his desire to leave Old Trafford back in 2012 only to quickly renege in a public fiasco, now seems to be left out in the cold at Carrington. According to The Times, Rooney is said to be forcing the exit issue after being left “furious” at missing out in the Madrid game. James Ducker reports that Rooney has “failed to conceal his fury at his [Real] omission.” The Times go on to suggest that PSG, Chelsea and Man City will all look to sign Rooney, while Borussia Dortmund’s Robert Lewandowski is Sir Alex’s Ferguson’s prime replacement. Major newspapers are wetting themselves to link a club to Bale. It's the age old story of all guess a club with money and then crow if it actually happens, even though it's a wild guess. The People are the latest contestants. Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly the latest club to enter the race for Gareth Bale. The Tottenham Hotspur winger's impressive form has seen his future being called into question at the club, with rumours of moves to Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. PSG have now also stated their interest in the Wales international, according to The People, and could bid as much as £50m for left-sided Bale in the summer. Bale signed for Spurs from Southampton in 2007 and signed a new four-year deal in June 2012. Which paper will plump for Barcelona, Man City and Chelsea?
In my opinion I think the Premier League is more exciting than La Liga. In La Liga there is not really any competition it's always just Barcelona vs Real Madrid, you could say Valencia challenge for the title. Barcelona are 12 points clear and it's basically over, it's only about half way through the season. But with the Premier League the title is open, Man Utd are 12 points clear but they can easily slip up (from a Utd fan.) They're are more than 2 teams that can win the Prem, as in Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City a couple more as well. Last season when Man City were losing 2-1 in the 90th minute and came back 3-2 to win the league, it was hart breaking but you'd never see that in the La Liga. It's simply more exciting in every way in the Prem you never know who is going to win the title or get into the top 4. -JM

However, with Chelsea in pole position for Atletico Madrid’s Colombian superstar Radamel Falcao, City have returned to the Uruguay international and are prepared to break the British transfer record to sign him. Cavani is currently Serie A’s leading scorer with 18 goals, helping his club to second place, five points behind leaders and the defending champions Juventus. Both Napoli and Cavani’s representatives are aware of City’s intention to pursue the 25-year-old during the summer transfer window. But Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also poised to bid.
