Louis Van Gaal is expecting either Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo to win the Ballon d'Or but feels one of Germany's World Cup-winning squad would merit the award more. The Barcelona and Real Madrid stars are favourites to be crowned on January 12, 2015, but the Manchester United manager feels the pair do not deserve the honour. Messi, a four-time winner, was handed the Golden Ball at the World Cup after helping Argentina to the final while Ronaldo, a two-time winner, lifted the Champions League with Real Madrid. But Van Gaal feels a member of the triumphant Germany squad would be more worthy victors, with Toni Kross, Philipp Lahm, Thomas Muller, Manuel Neuer, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mario Gotze all nominated. "Most of the time it is always the well known players [who win the Ballon d'Or]," he told MUTV. "It is more for the football world and outside world than for other things I believe. I think it will be Ronaldo or Messi but I want to say that you have to win something. "The best thing to win is t ...

Bayern and Real Madrid are also meant to you. The German international Marco Reus is a target for Manchester City, according to the newspaper "Bild", had offered to Borussia Dortmund player a salary of 13 million euros a year. Reus can leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of this season in exchange for payment of a termination clause of 25 million euros. Bayern Munich until now was considered the favorite in the race for Reus although his name has also been frequently associated with the Barcelona and Real Madrid. Economically, the offer of the City may be above where Bayern are the highest paid players Franck Ribery, Philipp Lahm and Bastian Schweinsteiger having an estimated 12 million a year salary. However, it is possible that in making its decision the player also consider various other economic factors as it did and does in 2012 when, being ...
Pep Guardiola has taunted Manchester United by claiming none of his Bayern Munich players wanted to join them this summer. United made approaches for Bastian Schweinsteiger, Arjen Robben and Thomas Muller, while Toni Kroos opted to join Real Madrid. Although United spent £151.3million on six players this summer, including a British record £59.7m on Angel Di Maria, Guardiola said they could not have afforded his stars - even if they had wanted to move to Old Trafford. "They don't have enough money," said Guardiola. "I saw they spent this kind of [big] money. "It's good for my friend Louis [Van Gaal]. I know all the players the clubs want, it just depends on the player. "If the player wants to stay, they stay. Manchester United wants these kind of players, but they want to stay and we are happy to be here." Guardiola also said United's absence from this season's Champions League, for the first time in 19 years, was a lesson to all big clubs of what can happen if they do not perform. "It’s a good lesson ...

L’Equipe has produced their own best 11 of the year, with five Bayern Munich players making the cut. The Premier League only sees two entries, courtesy of Man City stars Vincent Kompany and Yaya Touré. The most contentious choice must be Thomas Muller, Bayern’s attacker who is comfortable in any position across the front three or indeed, behind the striker. there's no law against playing ugly football. Chelsea didn't travel to Munich to dazzle as Barcelona and Real Madrid surely would have done had those Spanish clubs not foundered in the semi-finals. Chelsea didn't even come here to play attacking football " as Bayern did in wave upon fruitless wave on Saturday night, with Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben double-teaming like Batman and Robin, but without the knockout punch. No, Chelsea came to right the wrong of the tear-streaked night in Moscow in 2008, when Chelsea captain John Terry slipped on the soggy turf and hit the post in the decisive penalty shootout won by Manchester United. This time, there was again the agony of penalties. Only this time, it was Bayern's Bastian Schweinsteiger who hit the post. Drogba, in what may well have been his last kick of a ball in a Chelsea shirt, then fired home the winning spot-kick
Yoo... Bastian Schweinsteiger, Justice is served...!! You scored the winning penalty against Real Madrid C.F. at Semi-final even after Madrid deserved to win. Now look here... You missed the penalty, and just for that Chelsea FC won...!! Yippe...!! Happy...Would have been happier if it was Real Madrid... But Chelsea is not bad either...!! Is Robert Di Matteo going to be the Next Jose Mourinho...?? Eager to watch...!! Manuel Neuer, you can't save penalty under pressure... Learn it from Peter Cech...and then to do a higher study on that same topic, well Iker Casillas is dere..!! :D

Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger wants to work for Real Madrid coach Mourinho
Bayern Munich overcame an early setback at the Santiago Bernabeu to earn the right to play in the final as a 3-1 penalty shootout win over Real Madrid saw the German club progress. The Bavarians found themselves under the cosh straight away as Los Blancos tried to overturn the 2-1 deficit from the first leg. An early Cristiano Ronaldo brace set them on their way but Arjen Robben leveled the tie from the penalty spot just before the half-hour mark. The affair turned cagey in the second half as neither side wanted to over commit and with extra time unable to separate the pair, the match went all the way to penalties. Manuel Neuer saved shots from both Ronaldo and Kaka before Sergio Ramos skied it from 12 yards, allowing Bastian Schweinsteiger the chance to net the winning penalty. Jose Mourinho made only one change from the side that defeated Barcelona at Camp Nou at the weekend with Marcelo replacing Fabio Coentrao at left-back. Jupp Heynckes recalled eight first-team players to the starting XI who were re ...
