By Kevin Williams P.M.H. Atwater, L.H.D., Ph.D. (Hon.) survived three death events that produced three different near-death experiences in 1977. She is one of the original researchers of the near-death phenomenon, having begun her work in 1978. Today, her contribution to the field of near-death studies is considered on par with those of Raymond Moody and Ken Ring. Her first two books, Coming Back to Life and Beyond the Light, are considered the "Bibles" of the NDE. With the publication of Future Memory, she has expanded her work into areas of brain development that call for a reconsideration of what is presently known about transformation consciousness. She has done extensive research into the after-effects and the analysis of common elements of the NDE. Her research into children's NDEs led to her writing, Children of the New Millennium. Her latest book, The Complete *** s Guide to NDEs, is in my opinion the most comprehensive book on the subject of NDEs to date. The following are P.M.H. Atwater's insi . ...

Conference presenters included Samani Unnata Pragya, Samani Shukla Pragya, Dr. Eben Alexander, Rabbi Arthur Seltzer, and Dr. Raymond Moody.
We live in a time when there is great fascination about Life After Death. A few years ago Raymond Moody wrote a best-seller called Life after Life that detailed the near-death experiences of men and women who “died” and then came back to tell stories of weightlessness, bright lights, and reunions with loved ones. Hundreds of so-called “channelers” claim to be able to contact the spirits of the dead. The New Age movement has popularized such Eastern concepts as the transmigration of souls, reincarnation (thanks especially to Shirley MacLaine), spiritualism, and communication with the dead. Video games featuring witches and sorcerers have captured the fascination of millions of school-age children. Today, via the Internet, anyone with a computer and modem can connect with online psychics, spirit guides, and experts in reincarnation. Using a search engine, I discovered that there are more than 40,000 Internet sites about witchcraft, 37,000 about sorcery, 20,000 about reincarnation, 10,000 about psy ...

If you had just a few more minutes to talk with a deceased loved one, what would you say? What would you want to hear? Are you seeking meaning and purpose from the loss? What if a psychomanteum could help? The modern-day psychomanteum, developed by Dr. Raymond Moody, was derived from ancient practices in Greece. It is a darkened, dimly-lit room with a mirror at one used to focus attention. The mirror is angled so you do not see your own reflection.

Excitement is building around Robert Moss’ new book, “The Boy Who Died and Came Back”. Robert Moss shares, “Until now, I have always avoided naming a favorite among my books, as good parents generally want to do. But I am not afraid to say: this new literary child is my favorite. I had to muster some real courage to share the personal narratives in this book, which explain how I came to my present path, as a dream teacher, among all the forking roads of the multiverse, and the cost of reincarnating yourself in a single span of years. I write about what it means to walk between the worlds every day. My inner artist is happy that my publishers agreed enthusiastically to include seven of my drawings in the book.” Raymond Moody, MD, author of Life after Life, says, “Robert Moss’ extraordinary life story, told with beauty and passion, confirms that there is life after life and will inspire all who read it to transcend the fear of death and live richer and deeper lives.” On April 2, 6:30 – 8:3 ...

Some people feel the intense need to communicate with someone who is dead. Usually, they desire to contact a loved one that they have lost or some simply harbor a fascination with death or the dead. When one wishes to reconnect with the presence of someone they have lost, they may turn to methods involving communication with the dead. When one is interested in contacting the dead, there are a few techniques that can be followed, according to a Dr. Raymond Moody, who claims to be quite an expert when it comes to near-death experiences, as well as the afterlife. Moody suggests a technique that was used during ancient times for those who wanted to receive a vision. It is said that Nostradamus used this approach when he was foretelling the future. It simply involves a large mirror, as well as a variety of suggestions to ensure a positive and successful line of contact. Below you will find a checklist to follow when you want to attempt communication between the dead. 1) To gain a clear state of mind, one shoul ...

Have the police talked to Raymond Moody? If not they should.
Drove down to Anniston to spend the day with my mentor, Raymond Moody, who is my major advisor at Wisdom University.Forty years ago, Raymond Moody coined the term "near death experience" and his ideas have powerfully impacted how we think about death, Life After Death, and is now offering some incredible insights into the nature of consciousness through "the secret world of nonsense." A wonderful oncology nurse from Emory Medical Center, Jane Wood, joined me as we began planning the first stages of The Final Words Project. Raymond is guiding us through the data collection process related to gathering and analyzing final words--especially unintelligible ones--of the final days and weeks of life. Our working hypothesis is that there will be patterns to the "nonsense" of the language of our dying days--and as we understand these patterns of unintelligible speech, we may gain insight into how consciousness changes as we cross the portal. We spent a cozy and wonderful afternoon together at Raymond's home, an . ...

As we are all 'near death' - we should act like it. This is so well said: 'Loss and bereavement can remind you sharply of what can happen when in life you do not show your love and appreciation, or ask for forgiveness, and so make you far more sensitive to your loved ones. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross said: ‘What I try to teach people is to live in such a way that you say those things while the other person can still hear it.” And Raymond Moody, after his life’s work in near-death research, wrote: “I have begun to realize how near to death we all are in our daily lives. More than ever now I am very careful to let each person I love know how I feel.” glimpse

The Inner Voyage of Light and Sound "Before the inner voyage of Light and Sound can begin, the meditator must become adept at withdrawing his/her attention from the world and concentrating one pointedly at the third eye center. Accordingly, when the neophyte has achieved even a modicum of success, having sensations of numbness just up to the solar plexus, flashes of light will begin to manifest. At first it appears that the light is coming and going, causing the phenomenon of bright sparks, but in actuality it is the mind which is ascending and descending (Charan Singh, 1958, 1967, 1973, 1979). "The feeling of physical insensibility is one of the important "acid tests" to determine if the mediation process is proceeding correctly.Starting in the feet, numbness rises slowly through the lower extremities, until the entire body feels like stone. When such a voluntary paralysis occurs, the meditator gravitates more to the inner universe than to the outer one. According to the masters (Julian P. Johnson,1974), ...

“A skeptic is a person who would ask God for his ID card.” [1] Edgar A. Shoaff (1904–1993), Writer, Satirist, Humorist\ Hard core scientists continue to tell us we are nothing more than firing brain cells, genetics, hormones and a product of evolution. Weekly, I come across studies authored by materialistic researchers attempting to prove encounters with the spirit world are only the result of our biological chemistry or psychological difficulties. As a seasoned mental healthcare provider and experiencer of the spirit world I don’t believe such narrow minded presentation of information is ever in humanity’s best interest. In 1997, I spent time in the home of famed near death experience researcher and bestselling author Dr. Raymond Moody. During my visit, I made visual contact with all of my deceased loved ones who had passed on to the next dimension. When they came to me, they did so as orbs of brilliant bluish, white light. I accomplished this with the help of an ancient technique called “ ...

Mirror Gazing to Contact the Spirit of a Deceased Loved One This technique can be used during Samhain or any time of the year. Below is Raymond Moody's mirror-gazing method. You can find the link to his book at the bottom of the page. Dr. Moody's patients have had great success using his mirror gazing method to communicate with departed loved ones and find healing for their grief. Dr. Moody got the idea for this from the psychomanteums that the ancient Greeks used. He built his own psychomanteum and allows people to use it to visit with their loved ones who have passed over. He gives instructions in his book for how to built your own psychomanteum so you can mirror-gaze in the privacy of your own home. The book gives more detail on the technique. I've written a basic outline of it here for you. This should be done in a dark and quiet room. Use a fan or a white noise device to block outside noises (ear plugs may also work). The lack of light and noise assists you in achieving a deeper meditative state whil ...
