STOP HIS KILLING: DON'T ENABLE OBAMA'S WAR - IT'S ILLEGAL UNDER THE U.N. CHARTER, WHATEVER CONGRESS DOES THE TOPLINE: Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is introducing a measure to formally declare war on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and provide a limited authorization to use force against the terrorist group. "I believe the President must come to Congress to begin a war and that Congress has a duty to act. Right now, this war is illegal until Congress acts pursuant to the Constitution and authorizes it, Paul said in a statement. The bill would give President Obama authorization to use the armed forces against ISIS, but restricts the deployment of ground troops. Pauls proposal would only allow the use of ground forces to rescue servicemembers, conduct operations against high-value targets or assist with advisory and intelligence gathering operations. Those limitations could face resistance from other Republicans who say they wont back any authorization that limits the presidents military options. Califo ...

In a new opinion piece, Sen. Rand Paul says President Obama must come to Congress to start a war and that he acted against the Islamic State without “true constitutional authority” since the country was not under attack at the time.

Republicans can’t agree on what to do about ISIS Throughout the Obama administration, the Republican Party hasn't had a clear direction on Foreign Policy. Its supporters have two impulses that sometimes conflict — one in favor of hawkish interventionism, and another toward skepticism of entanglement in foreign conflicts. In recent weeks, there's been some speculation that the rise of ISIS has given the hawks the upper hand. But Thursday's Senate vote on President Obama's plan to fund moderate Syrian rebels made clear that the party's divisions remain real. As Gabriel DeBenedetti of Reuters writes, three presidential contenders in the chamber ended up with totally different positions. 1) Marco Rubio Marco Rubio. (Tom Williams - CQ-Roll Call Group/Getty) Senator Marco Rubio, so far, looks like the most traditional interventionist hawk, having positioned himself alongside the GOP's Foreign Policy brain trust. In a speech this Wednesday, Rubio criticized leaders "in both parties" who "tried to convince Am ...

After weeks of hedging on his ISIS strategy, Rand Paul boasted that he would have acted even earlier than President Obama in targeting the group.
Dear John, I'm worried. While speaking at a fundraiser crowded with left-wing high-dollar donors, President Obama leaked his political agenda for the next 2 years. Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid are scheming to pack the Supreme Court with liberal Justices who will enshrine their beliefs in a "living Constitution." As you and I have seen in recent cases, only a narrow 5-4 majority has protected our Second Amendment rights and Religious Liberties. A change in just one Justice could shepherd in a left-wing majority. But the Democrats can't usher in a new era of liberal Supreme Court victories unless they hang on to their majority in the Senate. And the Republicans need just 6 seats to remove Harry Reid as Majority Leader and strip away his ability to ram through Obama's appointees. So the Democrat Party machine is casting all their weight in key races to retain Harry Reid's majority in the U.S. Senate. With the November mid-term elections rapidly approaching, the course of our country rests in t ...

Look what I found on Page 6 of the New York Times. Hidden like we aren't supposed to be able to read. Obama Impeachment hearings have begun! (Washington, DC) Today, Congressman Trey Gowdy (R), a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, signed onto Congressman Rand Paul's (R) Articles of Impeachment against President Barrack Obama. The Articles outline numerous allegations against President Obama, including his creation of a massive propaganda campaign to mislead the nation with Benghazi, the illegal use of exrtajudicial drone strikes against american citizens, the re-authorization of the NSA warrantless wiretapping program on American citizens, and the repetitive use of signing statements and Executive Orders to negate legislation passed by Congress. "President Bush deliberately created a massive propaganda campaign to whitewash Benghazi to the American people and the charges detailed in this impeachment resolution indicate an unprecedented abuse of executive power," said Congressman Gowdy. "A deci ...

Ah, Sunday morning talk shows! How confusing is life when I agree with Rand Paul on something. I believe President Obama sending 'advisors' to Iraq is a terrible mistake. Sending more troops into a country we destabilized with that ridiculous and tragic war is NOT going to make things better. FOX had on a Tea Party rep who was going to tell us the inside story of the IRS 'scandal'. Credit to Chris Wallace for asking her if there is ANY evidence that there is a political scandal involving Obama or any member of the White House and then watching her try desperately to evade answering it. Watching a clip of Paul Ryan call someone a liar is very amusing, He must just be tired from running his last one minute mile.

Is it already time for our every-10-years surprise for Iraq?" 4. "As it stands right now, the Republican nominee will either be Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, or a bag of flour with Ronald Reagan's face drawn on it." 5. "Chelsea Clinton is pregnant… so in nine months, we will officially have a sequel to 'Bad Grandpa.'… It also raises the question… when the baby is born, do you give Bill Clinton a cigar?" 6. If you support Rand Paul for president, you don't get to criticize Obama's weak, meandering Foreign Policy.
You don't even have to be the political junkie that I am to realize that there is a civil war raging within the Republican Party that is fomented by the titular heads of the Party, Rush Limbaugh, *** Cheney, Bill Kristol, and Dr. Charles Krauthammer representing the hawkish G.O.P. Establishment wing, versus the more progressive-minded Libertarian leaning, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, and the firebrand, Texas senator, Ted Cruz. This is potentially good for us Liberals, but it can also have a down side, because it can be beneficial to the out-of-power party to have a higher profile in the news. They will probably wind up shooting themselves in the foot, BUT, we cannot depend on that as a political strategy for November.Historically, the party who holds the Executive Office takes a thrashing in it's sixth year, and this year looks like it's going to be a traditional one, with President Obama's popularity in the mid-40's, and "direction of the nation" polls, ( a more accurate indicator ), starkly dismal. We will ...

WASHINGTON, D.C., March 26, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A prominent U.S. senator has said that President Obama should “explain to the pope why he is telling businesses in America they can’t remain true to their faith and stay in business.” On Thursday, President Obama will meet with Pope Francis for the First Time. According to probable 2016 presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul, R-KY, a topic of top priority should be the abortifacient, sterilization, and contraception insurance coverage requirement under the Affordable Care Act. Speaking on “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday morning, Paul did not mince words. “The ‘Hobby Lobby’ case is being discussed today,” he said, “and I think it’s important that [President Obama] tell the leader of the Catholic Church why he thinks that businesses owned by Catholics can’t make their own decisions with regard to health care.” Since entering office in 2011, Paul has been outspoken on a number of disagreements he has with the president. It always fun to watch Fox News Sunday and watch them try to turn every negative, possibly excluding the weather, on President Obama. They have already decided the conclusion to the crisis in Ukraine, without actually knowing it, and having been wrong constantly over the last five years. Then they bring up the old one about the President taking a vacation, even though this President has not yet reached the number of days Bush took in just his first term, including one month after 9/11 when he went fishing! Not that it matters. We have these new things, computers, and this other gadget we're testing, the phone, so we think the President might be able to keep in touch even when on a break. Kentucky Republican U.S Senator Rand Paul plans to file a lawsuit against President Obama and various members of his staff including the director of National Security.
Rand Paul to Officially Join Suit Against Obama (National Journal) – Here comes some fun. Sen. Rand Paul will join a lawsuit against President Obama, National Intelligence Director James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, and NSA Director Keith Alexander. The suit, Paul says, is because Obama “has publicly refused to stop a clear and continuing violation of the Fourth Amendment. The Bill of Rights protects all citizens from general warrants. I expect this case to go all the way to the Supreme Court and I predict the American people will win.” The Kentucky Republican is joining a suit from FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe. And to just round out the group, the lead counsel is Ken Cuccinelli, former Virginia Attorney General and Republican gubernatorial candidate. In the press release from RandPac, Cuccinelli says that “we expect to be opposed by the vast resources of the federal government, yet I am optimistic that we will prevail.” Paul will join the suit officially on Wednesday. Mark of the BEAST is coming! Rand Paul, MD U.S. Senator (R-KY) Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. And by now, I’m sure you’ve seen dozens of news stories about yet another smoky backroom deal in the works in Washington, D.C. over “immigration reform.” Thomas, on Thursday of last week, during an aptly named GOP “retreat,” the Big Government Republican House leadership unveiled brand-new “Immigration Reform Principles.” I’m afraid this document – which lays out the framework for another House cave in to President Obama – prominently includes the Senate Gang of Eight’s National ID/National Database system as one of its provisions. That’s why it’s critical you help me turn up the heat on the U.S. House before it’s too late by signing your “No National ID/No Database” Directive IMMEDIATELY. And if you can, I hope you’ll also agree to forward the Directive to as many friends and family members as possible. If passed, this dangerous scheme would require a new National ID c ...

Instead of partnering with Ted Cruz and Rand Paul to reform our government and put America back on the path to renewed greatness -- Speaker Boehner has chosen to curry favor with President Obama by cutting deals with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and sidling up to the liberal media -- all while sta ...
Supporters, critics agree Obama address offered few surprises Published January 29, 2014 FoxNews.com President Obama closed his State of the Union Address with a subtle plea for bipartisan accord -- and he got that within minutes as supporters and critics agreed that he delivered a speech that included neither surprises nor grand plans. “There wasn’t a lot in the speech,” said Charles Krauthammer, a conservative pundit and Fox News contributor. “I’ll work with the president … and anyone who wants to get people back to work,” Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul said after the speech. But speaking on Fox News, he also complained Obama was taking a “my way or the highway” approach by saying he’d bypass Congress to push his agenda, sounding more like a “bully” than someone looking to work with lawmakers. The president’s roughly 60-minute speech was essentially what the White House had promised Americans for the past several days -- a call to improve education, expand domestic and clean energ ...
Look out for Martial Law being implemented tonight - and we are hosed. Heil Hitler ops Heil Berry! According to the White House, President Obama plans to use tonight's State of the Union Address to announce his impending dictatorship. Okay, okay... perhaps that's not exactly what Senior Advisor Dan Pfeiffer wrote in an email to supporters on January 25. But it's close enough. Both Pfeiffer and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney have called 2014 an "action year," code words for the president's plan to strong-arm Capitol Hill in the months ahead. If Congress is averse to his agenda, well, they'd better get out of the way. Obama has a pen and a phone, and he's not afraid to use them. Meanwhile, with the 2014 election season nearly upon us, Obama is facing significant pressure to advance his agenda and boost the Democrat party outlook. And apparently that won't be a problem! Obama will simply flip the switch on his "unilateral presidential authority," as The Wall Street Journal called it, and start laying ...

CONGRESSMAN STOCKMAN CALLS OUT Lindsay Graham AND JOHN CORNYN Karl Dickey Texas Republican Congressman Steve Stockman announced Wednesday, January 8, 2014 that he is organizing opposition to an anti-gun control bill which is expected to be soon filed by U.S. Senators John Cornyn and Lindsay Graham, which appears to closely follow an Executive Order issued last Friday by President Barack Obama. The "Graham-Cornyn Mental Health and Criminal Justice Reform Act" would have the same effect of President Obama's Executive Order we wrote about yesterday, which expands the NICS to include Americans who have either been treated or visited a mental health professional. In its current form, we understand it does not distinguish if the veteran or civilian was deemed a danger to them self or to the public, just would be denied their Second Amendment right for visiting a mental health professional. When the actual bill is filed, we will report again as to its affects, however we do have the outline described by Graham a ...

U.S.-N.C. Senate challenger, Greg Brannon is 100% pro-Second Amendment!! From KY Senator, Rand Paul: Annette, President Obama's national gun registration scheme was a slap in the face to gun owners in North Carolina. Unfortunately, your current Senator sided with President Obama against North Carolina gun owners. Fortunately, you and I won that fight. For now. . . But the political winds are ever-shifting, and if gun-rights supporters in North Carolina want to shut the door on President Obama's gun grabs, conservatives need to rally around solid, 100% pro-gun candidates. And I'm proud to say you have a Second Amendment champion running for Senate in North Carolina -- Greg Brannon. Greg's a constitutional conservative who believes our Second Amendment rights are not up for compromise or negotiation. He's facing folks from all sides who are eager to keep the status quo, content with more of the same from the same old politicians -- so it's crucial gun owners rally to his cause. I've seen first-hand how the ...

What was the top Political Stories in NJ for 2013 TRENTON — It was a high-profile year for New Jersey politics — and we'd like to know what you think the top story was. As usual, Gov. Chris Christie made a lot of headlines in 2013. He took on Congress over Hurricane Sandy funding, underwent surprise weight-loss surgery, didn't renominate State Supreme Court Justice Helen Hoens as he and Democrats battled over nominees to the high court, argued with U.S. Sen. Rand Paul — and, of course, won a second term with a landslide victory over Democrat Barbara Buono. All of that has helped cause a wave of speculation over whether he'll be a contender for the Republican nomination for president in 2016. There were other big stories in the Garden State political scene. President Obama visited Asbury Park to survey the recovery from Sandy. U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg died in the middle of his fifth term. Newark Mayor Cory Booker and conservative activist Steve Lonegan battled to fill Lautenberg's seat — with Boo ...

It’s no secret that drones are operating in American airspace, the only question is whether or not they are now openly assassinating U.S. citizens, something President Obama has already admitted doing. Roughly 4 months ago on July 26, 2013, the FBI informed U.S. Senator Rand Paul in an unclassified letter they have flown drones over U.S. airspace a total of 10 times in the past seven years, a number which is likely much higher. Aside from the deaths of Walker and Hastings, other suspected drone strikes include the West Texas Fertilizer Company explosion on April 17, 2013, in which a missile can be seen striking the building just prior to the explosion, and the explosion which killed the 19 elite firefighters near Yarnell Hill, Arizona, on June 30, 2013. Curiously, the autopsies and photos of the 19 firefighters are being withheld from the victims families because they are most likely not consistent with the now retracted preliminary autopsy report which stated that burns and smoke inhalation were the .. ...
President Obama has set the liberal agenda back at least thirty years. It will take a whole new generation or two of voters before this is ever tried again. The back bone of all things liberal, health care, has imploded before the eyes of the whole country, When Lanny Davis comes out and says it needs to be scrapped and done incrementally with Republican input, it is over.It is just a matter of time. It turns out Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Sarah Palin and the rest of the Tea Party was right.
Rand Paul – Health Cancellations Based on Obama Regulation that Every Democrat Voted For Sen. Rand Paul told a crowd in South Carolina last week that health insurance cancellations are not the direct result of the actual legislation creating ObamaCare, but instead an unnecessary regulation written by the Obama administration months after the law passed, the DailyMail reports. Paul notes that Senate Republicans tried to block the rule in 2010, but failed – on a party-line vote with every Democrat voting in favor of President Obama's rule. Dear Friend, What the President has done is outrageous, illegal, and unconstitutional. Please me let explain. My campaign had a video on the Drudge Report last week taking on President Obama for provoking a constitutional crisis. If you have not seen it, please click here and check it out. Constitution Crisis I'm Ben Sasse, candidate for US Senate here in Nebraska. Our video has gone viral in just a few days—that's how serious people across this country are about stopping ObamaCare. Our video is about President Obama's supposed "fix" to ObamaCare that he offered last week. It was not a fix at all. It was an illegal act that demonstrates that President Obama completely misunderstands his role in our constitutional system of checks and balances. The rollout of ObamaCare has been an unmitigated disaster. It's done profound political damage to President Obama, as well as the Democratic Party. So the President and his team came up with an idea: direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to let America ...

Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul -- the libertarian who blocked a Senate vote for nearly 14 hours over drone strikes -- says the NSA spying has "gone too far" and is speculating about whether the agency has tapped into President Obama's cellphone. Paul's comments follow the most-recent revelations about the NSA's post 9-11 data collecting -- that German Chancellor Angela Merkel was a victim and the agency purportedly had access to the servers of Internet giants Yahoo! and Google. The senator made the comments during an interview this weekend with Bloomberg's “Political Capital with Al Hunt” and acknowledged being "a bit" fastidious about the president's cellphone because it is almost certainly encrypted. But he was using that extreme hypothetical situation to point out the NSA gets its authorization from the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court so most anything is possible. "Are they tapping the president's phone, also?" asked Paul on the show. "He's got a cellphone. … And I say that a b ...
At least Senator Ron Johnson has the guts to beat his gums about the outrageous first black criminal administration elected to the highest office in our land, the Obama administration. Sen. Ron Johnson is no Sen. Rand Paul and will do no more to sue this administration than would any other Progressive smoke and mirrors Beltway swamp bottom feeder! This president has repeatedly committed impeachable offenses to the Constitution and high crimes in office. The only strategy this immoral gangland "lawyer" president hopes to remain in office is by using the same strategy football players use; wait out the clock at the end of the game. It is blatantly obvious Congress has become the harlot stacked court of President Obama, representing their own interests and re-election status. The only solution to this is remember whether or not Sen. Ron Johnson sues. If he only beats his bleeding gums over and over, he is unelectable and will not be returned to office. We are watching Sen. Ron Johnson! Have you the back bone ...
WASHINGTON — Tea Party favorites such as Ted Cruz and Rand Paul stand out in the group of 18 Republicans who voted "no" on the bipartisan Senate deal to reopen the government and temporarily raise the debt limit. The opponents of the deal are an interesting mix, representing well-known fiscal conservatives, longtime Senate veterans and critics of President Obama's health care law Cruz of Texas, Paul of Kentucky and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida are all considered potential 2016 presidential candidates. Joining them in rejecting the deal were Sens. Mike Lee of Utah, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, who were all elected with Tea Party support. STORY: Senate passes bipartisan deal to end shutdown The final Senate vote was 81-18. Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., did not vote because he is recuperating from heart bypass surgery. Cruz, still in his first year in the Senate, is now best known across the country for his 21-hour protest of Obama's health care law, which helped touch off the budg ...

Obam is acting like a dictator, remember when America tried to stop the arms race years ago with Russia? They would not talk. When they made greements they ignored them. Rand Paul explains: I wanted to share with you an op-ed I authored about how President Obama refuses to budge on ObamaCare. He's shut the government down rather than listen to the majority of American people who are crying out for relief from the ObamaCare train wreck. Republicans in the house have passed numerous bills to fund the government while granting the American people a break from ObamaCare. So I hope you'll take a few moments of your time to read my op-ed below. After you read my article, please chip in a contribution so I can continue to help lead the fight in the senate to defund ObamaCare. In Liberty, Senator Rand Paul - Paul: Obama’s response to shutdown is just ‘shut up’ It has been said that politics is the art of compromise. Try as they may, Washington leaders hardly ever get absolutely everything they want. Polls s ...
You cannot negotiate with a Committee!! Many Americans are wondering why President Obama cannot sit down and negotiate with the Republicans to solve our financial problems in this country. The answer is quite simple. Each of the Republicans in the Congress has a separate beef, a personal gripe, a burr under their saddle, a unique agenda, which prevents them from presenting a set of rational and coherent demands that can be used as any kind of reasonable base for discussions. Senator McConnell wants to confine the President to a single term in office. Speaker Boehner wants to allow the Tea Party to speak for him. Eric Cantor wants to fund each agency on a daily basis as the media discovers critical needs. Paul Ryan wants to cut spending and lower taxes for the wealthy. Rand Paul wants to defund Obamacare and then compromise. Marco Rubio wants to build a 20 ft high border fence from Florida to the Pacific Ocean. Chris Christy wants to avoid any contact with the other Republican leaders as he thinks they are ...
President Obama does not see the similarities between himself and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). Western secret services created al-Qaeda to attack enemies of Israel.   Western secret services have created the al-Qaeda terrorist group to protect Israeli interests and justify military intervention in other countries, a political analyst says.   “The whole story of the so-called war on terror is not what we’ve been told. It’s not as strange as it may seem that the US would bomb Syria for al-Qaeda,” Dr. Kevin Barrett told Press TV on Wednesday.   He made the comments after Senator Rand Paul criticized President Barack Obama for asking Americans to be “allies with al-Qaeda” twelve years after the 9/11 attacks.   “Twelve years after we were attacked by al-Qaeda, 12 years after 3,000 Americans were killed by al-Qaeda, President Obama now asks us to be allies with al-Qaeda,” Paul said on Tuesday, referring to Washington’s military strike plan for Syria, where al-Qaeda-affiliated groups are fighting against the Syrian government.   “Al-Qaeda is the main foreign intelligence o ...

Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.) on Thursday threatened to impeach President Obama if any U.S. troops are killed in Syria. “If one of our troops goes to Syria and is killed, I will introduce articles of impeachment against the president,” Jones said. “No president, Democrat or Republican, should have the authority to bypass the Constitution and the will of the American people and bomb a foreign country because he does not like the leader of the country,” he said. Jones’s threat came at a press conference where a bipartisan group of libertarian-leaning Republicans and liberal Democrats — including Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) — pushed for legislation to bar Obama from arming the Syrian rebels without congressional approval. The bills come after the White House said last month that it would provide military assistance to the rebels because it concluded that Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces had used chemical weapons. Jones and the other lawmakers frequently cited the 2011 U.S. intervention in Libya ...
Email by Rand Paul (Most of us already are aware of this plot for confiscation!) Dear fellow Patriot, Gun-grabbers around the globe believe they have it made. You see, only hours after re-election, Barack Obama immediately made a move for gun control… On November 7th, his administration gleefully voted at the UN for a renewed effort to pass the “Small Arms Treaty.” But after the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut — and anti-gun hysteria in the national media reaching a fever pitch — there’s no doubt President Obama and his anti-gun pals believe the timing has never been better to ram through the U.N.’s global gun control crown jewel. I don’t know about you, but watching anti-American globalists plot against our Constitution makes me sick. This Spring, the United Nations went back into session to finalize their radical so-called “Small Arms Treaty.” With the treaty finalized, a full U.S. Senate ratification showdown could come any time President Obama chooses and there will be very little ...
Text of my latest op-ed concerning minority outreach and the GOP: Former Republican Gov. Jim Gilmore gives advice to GOP Start listening more — and talking less There’s plenty of work to be done to compete By Jim Gilmore There’s a lot of talk lately about Republicans and AfricanAmericans — and with good reason. President Obama received 93 percent of African-American votes in 2012, and recently Sen. Rand Paul made headlines by being the first Republican to speak at Howard University since I convened the Southern attorneys general to speak out against attacks on black churches in 1995. I give Sen. Paul credit for stepping forward to speak to African-American students at Howard, but the fact that a Republican just showing up makes news tells us a lot about the relationship between the community and the GOP. As a former Republican Virginia governor who built close relationships with Virginia’s black leaders and received 20 percent of African-Americans’ votes, I’ve often been concerned with the a ...

I have come to the conclusion that the current Republican Party has, simply, gone insane. I watched an interview with the current Republican Party poster boy, Rand Paul, concerning the NSA's phone records seizures and the NSA's collection of phone record information. According to Mr. Paul, this is all President Obama's fault and that it saps President Obama's "...moral authority." He also added that "It's a great invasion of our privacy," calling the NSA activities a violation of the Bill of Rights and insisting that the officials involved need "remedial education" in Constitutional protections. Excuse me? Wasn't the Patriot Act (which directs the NSA to do this very thing) written right after 9/11 and voted on & approved by EVERY single Republican House and Senate member and signed into law by a Republican Administration lead by a Republican President? Are these the officials in need of "remedial education" of whom Mr. Paul speaks?
The guest speaker was none other than Senator Ted Cruz. So I just want to let you all know I am not going to be clapping at stuff that I don't agrre with or laughing at jokes that are not funny. I politely say so this is the guy who is blocking all President Obama's judicial appointments. He made some good points about Economic Development and Self-sufficiency that I agreed with. But all of us agreed he was a bit too conservative. When Senator Cruz said all Americans should be able to complete there income taxes on a post card and that the I.R.S. should be eliminated, almost in unison we all said good luck with that. His story is compelling however even I would admit. So then we started talking about potential candidates for 2016 when I thought I should have wore my Hillary button. Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, I said and they agreed Jeb would never get out of a Primary. I nicely suggested Rand Paul who could help us re-take the House of Representatives if he lead the ticket.
Steve Benen---Rand Paul says "We are borrowing $4 billion a day". This year's deficit will be $642 billion, down $400 billion from last year, and nearly $800 billion from when President Obama took office. Paul's argument isn't even close to being accurate. To use talking points from 2009, as if we have haven't already seen the fastest deficit reduction in modern U.S. history, is absurd. What Rand Paul is telling his followers is simply and demonstrably wrong.
Obama: No President Should 'Deploy Armed Drones Over U.S. Soil' Obama says no president should authorize use of drone strikes in U.S. President Barack Obama unequivocally said he does not support government use of armed drones on American soil. [BROWSE: Political Cartoons on President Obama's Drone Policy] In his first extensive remarks surrounding the secretive drone program, the president said he recently declassified the poorly-kept secret that four U.S. citizens had been killed in drone strikes overseas in order to "dismiss some of the outlandish claims" surrounding drones. "For the record, I do not believe it would be constitutional for the government to target and kill any U.S. citizen – with a drone, or a shotgun – without due process. Nor should any president deploy armed drones over U.S. soil," he said. That question became the basis for Sen. Rand Paul's nearly 13-hour filibuster of the confirmation of John Brennan as the new director of the Central Intelligence Agency after Attorney General ...
Rand Paul says he'll run for reelection Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Friday that he would seek reelection in 2016, even as he’s widely seen as having interest in a presidential run that year. Paul informed reporters of his decision before a local GOP dinner, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported. The first-term senator did not rule out a presidential bid in 2016, but said that, for now, he is only certain about running for another Senate term. "For now, we know for sure is we're going to run for the U.S. Senate," Paul said at the Woodford County, Ky., Republican Party Reagan Dinner, according to The Daily Independent in Ashland, Ky. "The other decision can come later." Paul has been thought to be a surefire candidate for the GOP nomination in 2016, when President Obama will be term-limited and Republicans will be looking to recapture the White House for the First Time since 2008. Paul has done little to tamp down the speculation. His comments Friday come after Paul has made a string of visits to early pri ...
In going on five years, President Obama has had the power to strategically strike whomever he has deemed a threat to the country, and four Americans have died abroad as a result (1 targeted, 3 were apparently in the wrong place at the wrong time). Now, as I hear people like Mitch Mcconnell and Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh and Michele Bachmann and Rand Paul (etc., etc.) trash him just about every damned day, it makes me realize how much I want to applaud this president.and his amazing capacity for restraint. Only 4? Nicely done, Mr. President.

Rand Paul on Saturday accused President Obama of working with "anti-American globalists" to "plot against our Constitution." The email blast was sent on behalf of the National Association on Gun Rights and heavily criticized the president's gun control efforts.

Our Great Republic of the USA’s Sovereignty and National Security, and all of our Constitutional Freedoms are at stake. The Constitution requires that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court come over to the Senate Chamber to preside when a president is being impeached. U.S./Top News 1) Leaders of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, including Co-Chairs Raúl Grijalva and Keith Ellison and Caucus members Barbara Lee, John Conyers, Donna Edwards, Mike Honda, Rush Holt, and Jim McGovern, sent President Obama a letter requesting the full, unclassified release of information surrounding the Obama administration's drone strike policy, the CPC says. The letter requests a formal report to Congress explaining the scope and legal justification for the drone program, and asks the Administration to release in unclassified form the full legal basis of executive branch claims of justification for the drone strike policy. The letter cites several problems with current drone policy, including its "unbounded geographic scope; unidentified high-level officials with authority to approve kill-lists; a vaguely defined definition of whether a capture is 'feasible,' [and] an overly broad definition of the phrase 'imminent threat,' which re-defines the word in a way that strays significantly ...
Dear Sandy, Lobster Thermidor with a white wine saffron galcage and herbed baby potatoes: $85 Moulard Duck Breast: $85 Filet of Beef with truffled potato mouselline, bone marrow and Madeira Jus: $85 That's what President Barack Obama and big spending Republicans Lindsey Graham and John Mccain had to choose from at their dinner Wednesday night as Rand Paul was eating a candy bar while leading his historic filibuster. But for President Obama and Senators McCain and Graham, it was really you and me who were on the menu. You see, the reason Barack Obama had dinner with establishment Republicans was to ask their support for replacing the so-called "sequestration spending cuts" with massive tax hikes. And according to White House sources, if Obama will help John Mccain and Lindsey Graham ram through their National ID bill under the guise of "immigration reform," they'll help him get whatever tax hikes he wants. Sandy, the battle lines have never been set any more clearly than they are right now. I can hardly im ...
Dear Patriot, Last Wednesday, Senator Rand Paul spoke on the Senate floor for thirteen straight hours, defiantly standing up to Barack Obama's dictatorial power grabs. But something was missing. While he spoke, the so-called "leaders" of the Senate Republicans were nowhere to be seen…because they were dining with President Obama! The establishment Republicans would rather eat dinner with Barack Obama than stand with a conservative hero like Rand Paul against his tyranny! Senator Paul needs support from We, the People right away. That's why I urge you to immediately sign Conservative StrikeForce PAC's Rand Paul Leadership Petition. We absolutely have to let Senator Paul know that the American people stand with him against the unconstitutional tyranny of Barack Obama... ...even if his own colleagues won't! And we urgently need the support of patriots like you to find and elect even more conservative heroes like Senator Paul. If we don't rally behind Rand, these "old guard" Republicans will forfeit our fut ...

Holder: Obama to Answer Soon on Assassination Program A number of senators joined Rand Paul throughout his effort. Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden said although he supports John Brennan’s nomination, he still wants the White House to release more legal memos on the assassination program. Sen. Ron Wyden: "Every American has the right to know when their government believes that it is allowed to kill them. So now the executive branch has gradually provided Congress with much of its analyses on this crucial topic, but I think more still needs to be done to ensure that we understand fully the implications of what these heretofore secret opinions contain and we have a chance to discuss them, as well." Appearing that same day before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Attorney General Eric Holder pledged that President Obama will soon explain the legal rationale underpinning targeted assassinations.
The confirmation of John Brennan, the man tapped by President Obama to head the Central Intelligence Agency, appeared to be a slam dunk. That is, until Sen. Just saw Senator McCain on FOX (which I should not be watching) and he thinks that he(and Lindsey Graham) and his type of thinking is the future of the Republican Party. He said that Rand Paul is an isolationist and that he (McCain) is not a interventionist and that he is a Ronald Reagan Republican with peace through strength. Who believes that he and for that matter President Obama are part of the Industrial Military complex that is hurting our country by spending more and more money we don't have. Loser McCain also said that sequestration is weakening our military, I am so sick of these lies on both sides. How about cutting the 100 billion dollars to rebuild Afganistan's infrastructure. At least 40% of that will just be wasted. My AR congressman are on board with all this bloated government BS and I am sick of it! OK, I finished.. :)
Factor Clip: Inside the GOP's dinner with President Obama -- Watch:
Okay, I didn't comment on Rand Paul's rant...uh, filibuster...when he was going strong last night. Let the guy have his say. But nobody gets a free pass, especially when slinging the BS as hot and heavy as he was slinging it. I read posts by friends on the right, comparing it to Jimmy Stewart's filibuster in MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON. But to paraphrase: Mr. Paul, you are no Jimmy Stewart. Indeed, you are more of a Joe McCarthy. Instead of staying on topic, the topic which you chose to base your rant/filibuster upon, you instead use your time on the floor of the people's house to insinuate a lie about the American President. Is there any actual documentation of President Obama planning drone strikes against American citizens ON AMERICAN SOIL? Of course not. It is a foul lie, meant only to build loyalty for Paul himself amongst the far right, those who wish to believe any sort of warped slander perpetrated against Mr. Obama. This was such an egregious falsehood that leaders of your own party, Mc Cain and ...
Okay I'm seeing all these posts praising Senator Rand Paul for "standing against Obama" and causing the filibuster. True, I believe questions should be raised about the amount of power the president has over drone strikes and I think some hardset rules should be defined for the record. So I applaud Rand Paul for asking those questions. But before you all give the guy a Nobel Prize, you need to put this into perspective and remember who and what the filibuster was for, what it accomplished, and how things actually work in Washington. Let me digress for a minute... No president should just be able to kill any U.S. citizen on US soil that he deems a threat, we all agree with that. But let's all be honest... we all know President Obama (or any other president) is not going to do that. I mean the whole notion that we are even scared that the president may attack us with drones is absolutely ridiculous (John Mccain said that very thing this morning when he the criticized the filibuster.) I mean people don't yo ...
Rand Paul makes my day. I had not considered that President Obama might order a drone strike on US soil against Jane Fonda. But it concerns me that he hadn't expressed the same concern for Dennis Rodman.

Not that I’m complaining here, but WHAT THE HECK DID PRES. OBAMA PUT IN THAT FOOD LAST NIGHT? Rand Paul filibusters Hagel’s nomination for 13 hours, and of all people, John Mccain and Lindsey Graham reprimand Paul on the senate floor and then go on TV complimenting President Obama on his outreach toward getting these budget problems fixed! Wow!
Let's get something straight. President Obama is not going to bomb teabaggers with drones, and he's not going to their houses to take away their guns. Rand Paul, another member of the lunatic fringe, wasted 13 hours of taxpayers money in the Senate yesterday for a useless filibuster because he also believes the government is coming after baggers with drones. This is also why he opposes the nomination of John O. Brennan to the CIA, because he thinks Brennan will use drones to get them. Really? This is not sane or rational thinking. These crazy paranoid right wing nut jobs need to replace the Kool-Aid with psychiatric medication! Baby Boomers and Senior Citizens Against Republicans & The Tea Party
Excerpt from the Military Oath of Enlistment; "...I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC;" In regards to Rand Pauls filibuster rant, which was initially supposed to be about opposing the appointment of John Brennan as the CIA head but ended up as an attack on President Obama's drone program, I have a question of my own. Rand Paul's issue seems to be that drones could possibly be used to attack American citizens. My question is; if the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated by an American citizen instead of Bin Laden -- and if he was hold up in a rural town in Utah, instead of Pakistan, should that make a difference in how the U.S. deals with him? I think the military oath makes it very clear, with the statement, ".from all enemies, BOTH FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC". I think it means, if you mastermind an attack, working with known enemies of this country, that kills thousands of Americans, it doesn't matter if you were a born citizen of Afghanistan or a ...
(Sherry) This conversation about killing Americans without Due process has been brought to you by: Right Off A Cliff. I saw this status and thought our members would be interested in striking up a conversation. Discuss: "Many liberals, and conservatives, are applauding Rand Paul's filibuster of John Brennan's appointment to head of the CIA. Mainly because Brennan supports the "controversial" drone policy of President Obama. The "controversy" is that Obama hasn't ruled out the possibility of killing an American on American soil without "due process". Christopher Dorner, the ex-cop who went on a killing spree in California, wasn't officially charged with a crime...at least not at the time of his death. During his last stand, he killed yet another police officer. This was his 4th victim (2 being the daughter, and her fiance, of a cop he felt wrong him during his termination and another was a random police officer he didn't know). Chris Dorner was an American, killed on American soil...without due process (he ...
Never thought I'd agree with Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on anything. “I find [Rand Paul's] question offensive. As much I disagree with President Obama and as much as I support past presidents, I do not believe that question deserves an answer. [Paul's question] cheapens the debate.”
Today's news from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.): Credit Scores: Sen. Bernie Sanders wants to give consumers more access to their credit reports and more protection from mistakes. A recent federal study found one in every four credit reports has an error that can affect consumers' eligibility for loans. Sanders' bill would make sure consumers get to see the same information banks see, according to WCAX-TV and Consumers Union. Budget: With $85 billion in sequestration cuts slowly setting in, Sen. Sanders is focusing on crafting a federal budget that closes tax loopholes for the wealthy and corporations and protects low- and middle-income Americans. He is working with his Democratic colleagues on the Senate Budget Committee on a 10-year budget plan which should hit the Senate floor later this month, the Brattleboro Reformer reported on Thursday. Eleven establishment Republican United States Senators couldn't be there to support Rand Paul's filibuster. They're having dinner with President Obama. According to news reports today, President Obama want to schmooze them into supporting new radical tax-and-spending schemes. Apparently growing government is more important to these eleven Republicans than standing up for our remaining constitutional liberties - like ensuring our government can't assassinate our own citizens on American soil. For some, like Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC), this is no surprise. During the fight over the NDAA - which included a provision saying American citizens could be thrown in prison for life without trial - Senator Graham stated "Shut up. You don't get a lawyer." Now, you and I see clearly where this type of thinking leads. An American President is claiming the authority to kill American citizens on American soil without so much as a trial! And GOP Senators fritter away an evening with President Obama.
James Spader's running to the White House right now for President Obama's written reply to Rand Paul.
I love it! Rand Paul filibusters President Obama's CIA appointee. He voted for confirmation of other Obama appointees like Chuck Hagel and John Kerry. But he's standing his ground with this one. Rand Paul is opposing drone strikes on Americans on American soil.
According to the info from a Democrat to Rand Paul he has confirmed via the AG Eric Holder that President Obama beleives he has the right to put armed drones up in USA airspace. President Obama said he would not like to have to use them against us citizens. President Obama will not hesitate to send armed drones shoot at us from our sky if civil unrest or for whatever reason. Were is due process? Were is the FBI? If someone needs to be arrested we have the Military, Swat, the Reserve, the Miranda Rights, the Courts and we have a *** Constitution that was written to protect us from this narcisistic Presidet Obama. This is the best way I can see of taking over this country without using the Military and shooting at us citizens. A President of the United States SHOULD NEVER HAVE SUCH POWER IN HIS HANDS. This is the step he need before he takes over the entire nation. Those people knowledgable of OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, OUR PATRIOTS...How can this be possible or even considered? This is an abnormal adminis ...

Chris Christie SNUBBED BY CPAC - Though if there were ever a politician who could crash a political conference, shove the speaker off the stage and berate everyone in attendance... and not have his reputation change one bit, it'd be Chris Christie. NBC News: "At least eight potential presidential contenders will be speaking at CPAC: Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, and Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania... One potential 2016 hopeful who won't be there, however -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Despite being the keynote speaker at the Republican National Convention and having a sky-high approval rating in the Garden State, CPAC officials told First Read Christie was not invited. Christie rankled some on the right with his public support for President Obama's handling of Hurricane Sandy in the weeks leading up to the 2012 election." ...
Thom's blog According to Republicans, the sequester will be no big deal. With the sequester deadline only a week away and Congress no closer to reaching a deal to prevent austerity, Republicans are changing tactics. They've spent the last month blaming President Obama for the looming cuts, but Americans didn't buy it, so now they're saying the sequester is really no big deal. A recent Pew Research poll shows that far more Americans blame Republicans for their failure to prevent impending austerity - despite the GOP's best efforts to shift the blame for this Congressionally-manufactured disaster to the President. So now Senators, like Rand Paul of Kentucky, are saying the sequester is a mere "pittance" and "will be in some ways a yawn." And Fox so-called News host Sean Hannity is there to help spread the propaganda. On a recent show, Hannity said the Republican austerity won't leave the country in dire straits, and that "the president's out there, he's using scare tactics and he's scaring seniors and teach ...
I don't want Ashley Judd to run for the Senate if she is going to hire Washington consultants who will try to change her to make her more "electable" in this right-wing bastion that foisted Rand Paul on the American public. I want her to remain a proud supporter of President Obama, a strident foe of mountaintop-removal, and a passionate defender of human and civil rights. Obviously, this may be a recipe for political suicide in Kentucky --and isn't that a sad commentary? But why run at all if you are not going to be true to yourself and your core beliefs? If she does run, she should have no illusions about her opponent. Mitch is a total political animal who will do whatever it takes to win. He will be more cold-blooded than any villain in her movies. But that could backfire if Ashley runs a grassroots campaign that will expose voters to her intellect, her values, and her commitment to being an agent of change, a champion for the miners, the poor, the under-educated, and the abused. She can help tackle the ...
This year, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., will be the Tea Party counterweight to the president's SOTU speech, offering GOP criticism to President Obama's plans. GOP Sen. Marco Rubio is also expected to deliver a GOP response to the SOTU. Do you think they will have valid criticisms of the president's address? What will they say?
Who will rebut Rand Paul's rebuttal of Mar-co Rub-i-o's rebuttal to President Obama's State of the Union Address? It won't be David Gregory!
I can honestly say that Im proud of Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, John Mccain, Lindsey Graham and a few others for NOT giving up on the Benghazi Scandal that killed four Americans, while President Obama and his administration and Hillary Clinton, and numerous others just say WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE!!! The people that are covering this up to save your *** in politics and keep your spots, make me sick to my to my stomach. And each of u deserve to be impeached and tried for treason, If you ain't outraged about this then. You have issues.. At least some people care and wanna know!
Seeming storm of irrelevant arbitrary data... Saddam Hussein maintained a weak military to coup proof his secular nation's power structure. President Bush could have made a case for going in to take care of the unfinished business of his father and the murder of the loyal Kurds in Iraq who supported the US in the first Gulf War, but perhaps not a strong one for supporting the War Against Terror and the Islamic extremists on seeming stove-piped intelligence. The Clinton Administration even sought (it appears) to later set Saddam free, but he didn't seem to give a hoot? Former Secretary of State Colin Powell and former President Carter (whom many of us at least respect, though not always agree) both support President Obama. President Obama supports the shrinking of the military; however, so do people like Ron & Rand Paul. So many things to ponder and about which to ask the Lord for wisdom. We are citizens... we have a responsibility to carry out or we'll find little respect from our elected officials. Pra . ...
From Sandy Holthofer: I am appalled that Paul Ryan, Rand Paul and Senator Johnson admired and still continue to admire Ayn Rand's philosophy of selfishness. Here is a quote from Ayn Rand: "The achievement of his own happiness is man's highest moral purpose." Ayn Rand, The Virture of Selfishness (1961.) Today we see the clip of a parent who lost their child in the Sandy Hook shooting being heckled by those against any type of gun control. We also see the hoarding of guns, assualt guns, magazine clips because of a lie being spread that our President is going to take away our guns. Remember the lie that our President was going to take away our bibles? I do not leave home without my bible, and it is now President Obama's 2nd term.
OMG... this is terrible... I CANT GO DEER HUNTING WITH 100 ROUNDS IN MY CLIP... HOW CAN I EVER EXPECT TO KILL THE DEER??? - Forwarded message - From: Jesse Benton Subject: Friends, they're coming for your guns Dear Friends, You and I are literally surrounded. The gun-grabbers in the Senate are about to launch an all-out-assault on the Second Amendment. On your rights. On your freedom. Just the other night, President Obama urged them to act. And then he went one step further, spelling out the 23 different Executive Orders he will take to get your guns. Friend, our freedom is under direct assault. From those who want take your guns. From those who want to shred our Constitution, and as our good in friend Rand Paul from Kentucky says, from those who want to be King. Let me tell you, Mitch Mcconnell is ready to lead the fight to protect your rights. Will you stand with Mitch today? Our Founders fought a revolution to secure our rights. They would have been appalled by what they heard from an American presiden ...
Published on Jan 25, 2013 1/25/13 - Bill Maher opened the panel discussion on his show tonight talking about President Obama's inaugural address. Maher admitted that it was a strikingly partisan speech, but felt it was warranted given how much Obama has tried to reach out to Republicans and failed. Maher and panelist Howard Dean clashed with the two Republican panelists over how much Obama has done to work with Republicans and how much the GOP is obsessed with ridiculous controversies and conspiracies. GOPAC president David Avella allowed that Obama did some reaching out in his inaugural, but considered his language about civil discourse to be hollow given how he has personally insulted Republicans. Maher pushed Avella to explain exactly how Obama has insulted the opposition, to which Avella said that Obama has referred to his opponents as "right-wing Republicans." Republican pollster Kristen Soltis thought that Obama's speech seemed to hammer home the same "you didn't built that" theme the Republicans ju ...
maybe someday you can grow up and be a medical doctor and be a gun spy for my government? Little did we know that when President Barack Obama signed the infamous Obamacare, that it would eventually be used to advance the President’s Gun-Control agenda? NOW, thanks to his 23 new Executive Orders, President Obama wants to use Medical Doctors to literally spy on patients with guns! President Obama last week issued 23 Executive Orders to bypass Congress and the American people, to further his anti-gun agenda. One of his brand-new Executive Orders reads: “Doctors and other mental health professionals play an important role in protecting the safety of their patients and the broader community by reporting direct and credible threats of violence to the authorities. But there is public confusion about whether federal law prohibits such reports about threats of violence. The Department of Health and Human Services is issuing a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits these report ...
With President Obama now contemplating up to nineteen Executive Orders to combat gun violence, conservatives have started to flip out in characteristic form. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul has accused Obama of acting "like a king or a monarch." South Carolina congressman Jeff Duncan declared last week, "We live in a republic, not a dictatorship." Mike Huckabee proclaimed that the White House has "nothing but contempt for the Constitution" and seeks to "trump ... the checks and balances of power in which no branch could act unilaterally." Texas congressman Steve Stockman has already threatened impeachment. (Can we say Racist Bigots??) Obviously, gun rights are a pretty sensitive issue for many people, but a little perspective is in order. First of all, President Obama has no intention of banning assault weapons, or any other kind of gun, through executive order. Instead, according to the Times, he's considering some pretty mundane tweaks that would seem to leave the "right to bear arms" fully intact: Actions t ...
Hah! Sen. Rand Paul Busts John Kerry: Do You Believe in Candidate or President Obama on War Powers Clause? (Video) Senator Rand Paul thumped Secretary of State nominee John Kerry today at his hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee today. Right out of the blocks, Senator Paul stumped Genghis John with a question on the War Powers Clause of the US Constitution, “I believe in candidate Barack Obama who said in 2007 that the president doesn’t have the power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack. I’d like to know if you agree with me candidate Barack Obama or if you agree with President Barack Obama who took us to war in Libya without Congressional authority unilaterally?” Rand Paul then went to bust Kerry for double-standard on Libya and Cambodia. Paul was ready for the hearing unlike most of the other senators with the exception of Senator Marco Rubio (Video):

Rand Paul: I will ‘nullify’ ‘King’ Obama’s Executive Orders on guns Aliyah Frumin 7:39 pm on 01/17/2013 President Obama? More like King Obama, at least in Republican Sen. Rand Paul’s world. The Tea Party favorite is insisting the commander-in-chief is acting like he’s royalty when it comes to his gun control plan and willingness to use Executive Orders to see it through. “I’m afraid that President Obama may have this ‘king complex’ sort of developing,” the Kentucky lawmaker argued Wednesday on Fox News. “We’re going to make sure it doesn’t happen.” Paul said he would introduce a new bill next week that will do away with some of Obama’s Executive Orders. “In this bill we will nullify anything the president does that smacks of legislation. And there are several of the Executive Orders that appear as if he’s writing new law. That cannot happen,” he said. The Executive Orders Obama has given support for include improving the federal background check system, calling on f ...
As President Obama continues to breach separation of powers between the legislative and executive branch, it's good to see folks like Rand Paul and others are taking immediate action in order to try and keep both separation of powers and the 2nd Amendment intact. One could say or perceive that this is wrong, that it is baiting and feeding the fire of President Obama's mental complex, but the more this President tramples traditionalist functions and liberty, the more the fire will burn. In this nation right now, we have a serious mental health problem and a system that is feeding the fires that keep the pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, medical industry, penal industry, and more in billions of dollars.not to mention the insurance business. Chillingly, this President rammed a flawed Health Care Act through the ropes. When you think about mental illness on the terms of the Health Care Act, the brutal reality and scope of Obama's intent, if not his arrogance, starts to become clear. Note: I'd sugges ...
With the NRA and Rightwing acting up here is a repost from May 2012 before all Aurora Theatre Mass Shooting, before the mall mass shooting, and before the Sandy Hook Elementary mass shooting! Sen. Rand Paul and the National Association for Gun Rights released an e-alert with this banner image of a rifle pointed at President Obama's head. BTW what GUN BAN? There is none at all! *** Here we go again with this type of "Sarah Palin with the Cross-Hairs of Districts" ad which as we all might remember (hopefully) had Congresswomans Giffords district was on and we all remember what happened there right. I swear this BS has to stop!
Per Bobby Rentfro: THE MORNING AFTER 7 November 2012 Dear Fellow Conservatives, I know how you feel this morning. To steal a phrase from a former president, “I feel your pain”. The reelection of President Obama and continued Democratic control of the Senate means we have serious challenges ahead of us. But I'm writing this to offer you hope. Since this grassroots movement began just a few years ago, we've accomplished so very much. In 2010, we elected a massive freshmen class of principled conservatives in the House of Representatives. In 2012, we've expanded that caucus by defeating numerous Democratic incumbents and replacing them with conservative leaders like Jackie Walorski of Indiana, Andy Barr of Kentucky, Mark Meadows of North Carolina, and more. We also elected Marco Rubio, Mike Lee, Rand Paul, and a new fiscally conservative core in the Senate two years ago. This election, we've expanded their ranks with newly-minted Senators Ted Cruz of Texas, Deb Fischer of Nebraska, and Jeff Flake of Ariz ...
President Obama doesn't believe that bills or budgets start in Congress. So much for him being a constitutional lawyer. As Sen. Rand Paul pointed out, maybe the President needs to watch that episode of School House Rock with the Bill on Capitol Hill to learn the bill making process.

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul is worried that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will not have enough Electoral College votes to beat President Obama this fall.
Marco Rubio: "[The president's] new slogan for his campaign is 'Forward.' Forward? A government that spends $1 trillion more than it takes in. An $800 billion stimulus that created more debt than jobs. A government intervention into health care paid for with higher taxes and cuts to Medicare. Scores of new rules and regulations. These ideas don't move us 'Forward,' these ideas move us 'Backwards.' These are tired and old big-government ideas that have failed every time and everywhere they've been tried. Ideas that people come to America to get away from. These are ideas that threaten to make America more like the rest of the world, instead of helping the rest of the world become more like America." Rick Santorum: "President Obama rules like he is above the law. America take heed, when a president can simply give a speech or write a memo and change the law to do what the law says he can't, we weaken our republic." Rand Paul: "When I heard the current president say, 'You didn't build that,' I was first insu ...

Here are 20 ways the 2010 election made history: ☛ It was the biggest gain for one party since voters repudiated the “Do-Nothing Republican Congress” in 1948 by giving Democrats a 75-seat pickup. ☛ It was the biggest setback for a president in a midterm election since Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Democrats lost 72 seats in 1938. ☛ President Obama lost more seats in his first midterm election than any president since Warren G. Harding’s Republicans suffered a 77-seat setback in 1922. ☛ The Democrats’ four years in control of the House of Representatives was the shortest tenure for one party atop that chamber since the Republicans were voted out in 1954 after just two years in charge. ☛ House Democrats will have their smallest number of members since they had 188 after the 1946 election. ☛ There will be more Republican women in Congress than any other time in American history. ☛ Rand Paul of Kentucky, Mario Rubio of Florida, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania and Mike Le ...
To the Ron Paul crowd, we get it: you’re ticked and feeling slighted by this process known as the primaries, funny little thing where the voice of the people gets heard. Now, instead of the continued collective tantrum and/or conspiracy theories about aforementioned primaries, howsabout getting on board the train to getting President Obama out of the White House? Sure would be nice to also see your guy continue that great work in the House y’all love to tout, albeit minus any connection to his potentially going rogue with a Ross Perot-esque spoiler candidacy. P.S. The awesome Rand Paul gets it. Why can't y'all?
Wow can we say delusional, out of touch and down right ignorant to the People in this country??.. He has decided what HE WILL do and ALL BE DAMNED to the rest of you... Interesting because as this campaign continues forward, it won't matter a bit about who the people think will be bring more jobs (albeit Obama unless Romney produces documents that state otherwise about Bain Capital), they will be more focused on how Romney's lack of people skills will continue to make his presidency look more like a takeover dictatorship than an election by the people, for the people... and as for the economy, the People know that the economy is in bad shape and the differences are one group feels it was the obstructionism, announced on day 1 after the 2008 Presidential election, from the Extreme Evangelical Party, led by Eric Cantor, John Boehner, Paul Ryan, Mitch Mcconnell and Rand Paul etc... The other group, led by Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and Fox News, etc will blame it on President Obama's l ...
Rand Paul wonders if President Obama would be so enthusiastic about a SCOTUS decision before the Dred Scott Decision was reversed. The taxing / spending powers of Congress have remained unsettled since James Madison wrote that the enumeration of powers would limit taxing powers because the one could not override the rest.
I've been fighting President Obama's M1 re-importation ban for some time now and his latest action is outrageous. After reading Dudley Brown's email below, I'm as outraged as he is! Nothing short of allowing ALL of these historic firearms return home will be acceptable. But if I'm going to have success in Congress forcing Obama to respect our American traditions, I'll need help from gun owners like you and gun rights leaders like Dudley. Plans like his Internet Blast to Bring Home the Gun that Won the War are exactly the kind of backup I need. Dudley has set a goal of raising at least $100,000 on Memorial Day. I hope you'll be able to help him reach that goal by chipping in just $10 or $20 today. And if you want to know more, Dudley's email below explains everything. Sincerely, Rand Paul U.S. Senator
My Letter to Congress reference Opposition to UNCLOS / LOST UN Laws of the Seas Treaty, before the US Senate, new treaty supported by President Obama authorizes tax paid to UN and surrender US Sovereignty to the United Nations when transported by water. May 22, 2012 To the Honorable; Dear Senator Mitch Mcconnell, Dear Senator Rand Paul, Tell your Senator: --There is no need to sign this treaty since the United States already honors most of the provisions of treaty. --LOST would threaten our national sovereignty and impose regulations that would stifle economic growth. --The United Nations would have international taxing authority through LOST. International taxation would be taxation without representation since the UN is an unelected body that does not best represent the needs of the American people. --The treaty could cost the U.S. trillions of dollars and the American people would have no say on how the money is spent. --The treaty would create a new United Nations (UN) agency with its own dispute reso ...
Zero Votes for Obama's Budget Last week, Senate Republicans tried to get Harry Reid and his Democratic majority to do something they haven't done in more than three years: pass a budget. Tea Party-backed Senators Pat Toomey, Rand Paul, and Mike Lee all introduced fiscally conservative budget proposals that were voted down by the Democrats. Senate Democrats have refused to submit their own budget, but Republicans did manage to force a vote on President Obama's budget proposal. "President Obama’s budget proposal, S.Con Res. 41, was introduced by Senator Sessions of Alabama in order to give the Democrats a chance to vote on the President's plan to dramatically raise spending and taxes," commented Max Pappas, FreedomWorks Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy. "Unsurprisingly, the Obama budget received zero votes from either party, as it is absurdly unsustainable and indefensible."
I think these *** are all screwed up now, but I like Ron Paul's comment. WASHINGTON — Sen. Rand Paul, who said he wasn't sure President Obama's views on marriage "could get any gayer," was rebuked by an influential evangelical leader Sunday. Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, appearing onCBS' "Face the Nation," strongly disagreed with the Kentucky Republican's choice of words. "I don't think this is something we should joke about," Perkins said. "We are talking about individuals who feel very strongly one way or the other, and I think we should be civil, respectful, allowing all sides to have the debate. I think this is not something to laugh about. It's not something to poke fun at other people about. This is a very serious issue." And Rand Paul's father, GOP presidential hopeful Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, said the government should not make rules on marriage. The libertarian view, he told Fox News, is, "Stay out of people's lives. I would like the state to stay out of marriage. Let two pe ...
This is a Blessing to read! Rand Paul: There's a 'sickness' in the country By MAGGIE HABERMAN | 5/12/12 8:26 PM EDT Sen. Rand Paul, who's widely seen as a potential national figure whose father Ron's role in the GOP primary could ultimately boost, gave a heavily faith-based speech at an Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition event - in which he talked about government morality, his stand against abortion and President Obama's *** marriage evolution, via Patch: "There is a sickness out there that needs more than political leadership. It needs spiritual leadership," he said. "In that cause, I'll do the best that I can." Paul, the keynote speaker, went on: I tend not to wear my faith on my sleeve," he said, adding later that "I see decisions government makes almost always in moral terms." He spoke about his opposition to abortion and *** marriage, his fiscal conservativism and his opposition to war. His strongest partisan line was to criticize President Barack Obama's position on *** marriage. "He said that his vi ...

In honor of Rand Paul's latest pronouncement (“Call me cynical, but I didn’t think his views on marriage could get any gayer.") concerning President Obama: “There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'Atlas Shrugged.' One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.” ― Paul Krugman
Today Jim received the following letter from Sen. Rand Paul from Kentucky. When we were in Miami, the Upper class Cubans were coming to the USA Mainland and it all began with Castro having firearms collected from private citizens. Getting regulations passed "under the radar" is a ploy to fool the public, just like "pass the health care bill and read it after it becomes law"! Just be informed so you cannot claim ignorance later. James , I’m afraid you and I could be staring at a gun control nightmare. Not next year. Not next month. But NOW. For months, I’ve heard whispers that the Obama Administration is carefully crafting an anti-gun bill behind the scenes and secretly working Capitol Hill to get the votes they need to RAM their pet legislation into law. And to make matters worse, I’m afraid President Obama believes this fight could be the KEY to securing his reelection. You see, I’m afraid you and I are about to have an all-out FIGHT on our hands -- perhaps unlike anything we’ve seen during ...
