The latest Quinnipiac poll has some interesting tidbits. There is no front-runner for the GOP nomination: “The GOP primary shows U.S. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky with 11 percent, New Jersey Gov. Christopher Christie, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush with 10 percent each, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin with 8 percent each, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio with 6 percent, no other candidate over 3 percent, with 20 percent undecided.” WASHINGTON, DC - JUNE 20: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie addresses the Faith and Freedom Coalition's 'Road to Majority' Policy Conference at the Omni Shoreham Hotel June 20, 2014 in Washington, DC. Update from the Faith and Freedom Coalition over the weekend: 1) Rand Paul relates Liberal Elites to Islamist's who put Christians to death. 2) Sarah Palin wants to let Allah sort out the problems in Islamic countries. 3) Rick Perry thinks last years attack in Benghazi happened in Lebanon. 4) Ken Blackwell believes if the SCOTUS rids of the DOMA that there will be darkness come over our land and mass civil disobedience. These people make Christianity look like a joke. You wonder why America has become so secular. Start by looking at how its represented. Its really a shame.

Two points in my status tonight, first Chelsea Clinton declared, "it's time for a woman in The White House." Maybe but as long as it AIN'T YOUR MOM! And by the way Chelsea.we already have one whose a pain and she's married to the other pain named Barack. POINT TWO.First it's way to early to start looking for GOP candidates for 2016, but give me a break with calling this weekends Faith and Freedom Coalition event in DC the beginning of the 2016 run. Jeb Bush.NO and absolutely NO.we do not want nor need a dynasty. Marco Rubio.he's shown his colors with the amnesty bill and the last time a first term Senator was elected with no record we got stuck wiith Obama. Not saying Rubio would be like him but we do not need another big talker who fails when it comes to real work. Rand Paul.a decent Senator but NOT Presidential material especially since he is ALSO favoring Rubio's, "path to citizenship," which is amnesty and 12 million Democrat voters. Yep way to early and frankly what pundits consider a, "field," ...
Texas Gov. Perry signs 'Merry Christmas' bill into law Surrounded by sleigh bell-ringing Santa Claus impersonators, Gov. Rick Perry on Thursday signed a law protecting Christmas and other holiday celebrations in Texas public schools from legal challenges - but also stressed that freedom of religion is not the same thing as freedom from religion. It was a serious tone for an otherwise fun bill-signing and should bolster the governor's Christian conservative credentials before he travels to Washington for the Faith & Freedom Coalition's "Road to Majority" conference with the likes of tea party darlings and U.S. Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida, Kentucky's Rand Paul and fellow Texan Ted Cruz. Dubbed the "Merry Christmas" bill, the bipartisan measure sailed through the state House and Senate to reach Perry's desk. It removes legal risks of saying "Merry Christmas" in schools while also protecting traditional holiday symbols, such as a menorah or nativity scene, so long as more than one religion and a secular symb ...

It needs spiritual leadership," he said. "In that cause, I'll do the best that I can."
