Someone asked me this week who cuts and colors my hair. She couldn't believe my confession: I color my hair myself (just enough to cover gray- $8 loreal preference) and I get it cut twice a year. I know nothing about hair and makeup and that's why 90% of the time, you'll see me with no makeup and my hair pulled back. Mom calls it lazy, but I call it low maintenance. :)

Despite his meta-legendary status, believe it or not, I still think Elvis Presley was underrated. He had a voice with perfect pitch, so there was no need for him to practice, he could open his mouth and sing. He also had a 4 Octave range (the same as an opera singer). He was stifled from offering the even greater potential than the awesome talent he displayed, down to Colonel Parker. The man controlled Elvis rigidly, never let him leave America for example (Parker was an illegal Dutch immigrant, thus wouldn't be allowed back in the US). Moreover, he stole all of Presley's money, leaving Priscilla and Lisa-Marie penniless. Priscilla built her money from nothing, giving it to her daughter. Random rant over!
