Darts: Adrian Lewis and Phil Taylor prepare for Premier League battle ADRIAN Lewis hopes his recent record against Phil Taylor stands him in good stead when the Potteries duo clash in the McCoy's Premier League in Aberdeen tonight. Cross Heath thrower Lewis has won three and drawn one of their last five meetings in the competition, but acknowledges he faces a tough assignment. Lewis kicked off the new season with a 7-3 defeat to Simon Whitlock in Belfast last Thursday, when he paid the price for missing 14 darts on doubles. But the 28-year-old, who partnered Taylor to victory in the World Cup a fortnight ago, says he is slowly building up his form. back to the darts , as promised a big write up and its outright betting , but dont worry guys kicks off on thursday and i will give tips . Another of the popular markets in the Premier League Darts season which gets underway in Belfast is the market for who will finish top of the league table after the 14 weeks. One man has dominated the league table in this tournament down the years and that is Phil Taylor. It therefore comes as no surprise that he’s the 13/8 favourite with Ladbrokes to top the pile this season too. Unlike in seasons gone by there are a number of genuine challengers to his throne this time I believe. Obviously the most obvious one given that he made the World Championship final recently is Michael van Gerwen but over 14 weeks and a short format in this company I’m not as convinced he’s the danger that he would be in a normal week long knockout tournament like the World Matchplay for example. One man who can fire for 14 weeks is Adrian Lewis but he hasn’t really fired for 14 month ...
