(From Hannity) Chasing Rabbits: Climate Change June 24, 2013 I hope the Republicans in Washington are paying attention. Barack Obama is about to throw them a curveball, and they need not fumble it but rather stay focused on the issues that truly matter. Tomorrow Obama will delivery a speech on … Climate Change! Yes, with all of the scandals swirling around his administration, Obama has decided to focus on an issue that Americans could care less about. That's not my interpretation, that's a fact based on recent polling from the Pew Research Center: Out of the 21 issues listed in the survey, Climate Change/global warming ranked dead last on its list of priorities for the president and Congress. If you go to the White House's website, the very first thing you will see (at least at this time) is; “Take Action on Climate Change: President Obama is taking action on one of the biggest challenges we face. Watch his message, then help to spread the news.” Then you can hear Obama address the nation on the iss ...
The U.S. drone campaign against suspected terrorists is drawing new attention on Capitol Hill with the nomination of White House counterterrorism adviser John Brennan to be Director of Central Intelligence. But outside of the United States, opinion on the use of drones for targeted killings is alrea...
As Republicans and the White House continue to jostle over the "fiscal cliff," the public remains pessimistic about a solution and is largely prepared to blame the GOP if no agreement is reached. A new poll from the Pew Research Center and the Washington Post shows that o …
NEW YORK –- MSNBC President Phil Griffin labels his network's sensibility as progressive, but the cable news channel could also be described these days as simply pro-Obama. In the final week of the 2012 election, MSNBC ran no negative stories about President Barack Obama and no positive stories about Republican nominee Mitt Romney, according to a study released Monday by the Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism. MSNBC's afternoon and primetime hosts kept their sights on Romney and the Republicans during the election cycle, while spending considerably less time holding Obama accountable on issues like civilian casualties from drone strikes, use of executive power and the Afghanistan conflict, the nation's longest-ever war, which escalated under the current White House. Instead, the network's top partisan hosts –- with the exception of former Republican Rep. Joe Scarborough –- seemed to circle the wagons around the Democratic president during his reelection bid.
What is on my mind? Well, it is Sunday a Spiritual Day for me. It is Vets Day, a day to remember the many who keep me safe and insure my Rights. I happen to be a Believer is A Creator, who many have given a very bad name. But at my age, I now realize "Hope" is still alive. Obama is in the White House, and for the first time in History great change can happen if our people stick together. I can no pass in peace. For I can see hope for my great-grand children; and for me now, that is all that matters. "Hope is Alive" Because ‘The new electorate is a lagging indicator of the next America,’’ says Paul Taylor of the Pew Research Center. ‘‘We are mid-passage in a century-long journey from the middle of the last century, when we were nearly a 90 percent white nation, to the middle of this coming century, when we will be a majority minority nation.’’ So we need to stay strong and kick *** .. From Investors Business Daily Posted 09/24/2012 06:59 PM ET Obama Ignored Mideast Data Predicting Anti-U.S. Disaster Foreign Policy: The White House insists Islamists really like America and Obama, that it "takes time to build a democracy" and that embassy marauders and murderers are just peeved over a cheesy Internet movie trailer. In fact, anti-American (and anti-Israeli) attitudes among Egyptians have been clear and quantifiable for years, even during the much-romanticized "Arab Spring" uprising. And Obama is ignoring the data now like he ignored them then. In a February 2011 editorial, "What Egyptians Really Want," we were the first newspaper to puncture the "Arab Spring" myth with hard data from a Pew Research Center poll taken in 2010 showing the vast majority of Egyptians hate America and shun our values. They never wanted Western-style democracy or protection of human rights. They wanted a theocracy based on barbaric Shariah law. Over 80% want to stone to death Muslims who leave Islam and also st ...
Forty Facts concerning this President and our Economy: During the time Barack Obama has been in the White House, median household income has fallen by 7.3 percent. Back in 2007, 19.2 percent of all American families had a net worth of zero or less than zero. By 2010, that figure had soared to 32.5 percent. According to the Federal Reserve, the median net worth of American families dropped “from $126,400 in 2007 to $77,300 in 2010“. According to the Pew Research Center, 61 percent of all Americans were “middle income” back in 1971. Today, only 51 percent of all Americans are “middle income”. Back in 1970, middle income Americans brought home 62 percent of all income in the United States. In 2010, middle income Americans only brought home 45 percent of all income. The unemployment rate in the United States has been above 8 percent for 42 straight months. The percentage of working age Americans with a job has been below 59 percent for 35 months in a row. In June, the number of Americans added ...
Poll finds Americans still confused about Barack Obama’s religion That's down from 55% who knew Barack Obama was a Christian in October 2008. But it's up from August 2010, when only 38% got his faith right. Nearly four years after he was sent to the White House, less than half of American voters know President Obama is Christian, a new poll has found. A survey by the Pew Research Center found that only 49 percent of those polled knew Obama is Christian, while 17 percent thought he is Muslim and 31 percent said they don’t know. Surprisingly, the percentage of voters who know Obama is Christian has declined since October 2008, when 55 percent correctly identified him as Christian. It is higher, however, than in August 2010, when just 38 percent knew his faith. The poll found that the increase since 2008 was concentrated among conservative Republicans, about a third of whom think the president is Muslim. Forty-five percent of voters said they are comfortable with Obama’s religion, while 19 percent are ...
Germans Increasingly Disillusioned with Obama Europeans, led by the Germans, are no longer the huge fans of President Barack Obama that they used to be. Germans were ecstatic when Barack Obama took over the keys to the White House from George W. Bush. Now, though, a new Pew Research Center survey shows that disillusionment with the US president is widespread in Germany and that Obama has not lived up to the high exp
