Just saw Pete Rose at Mandalay Bay. Surprisingly he was signing autographs, not betting on baseball.
Just walked by a sports shop in Mandalay Bay. There was Pete Rose signing autographs (for money) but nobody was there. Just him sitting there counting money. Pretty pathetic sight.
Just met Pete Rose at the Mandalay Bay. Believe it or not he didn't have a drink in his hand. Last day in Vegas.
At Mandalay Bay today in a small boutique, I happened onto Pete Rose who for roughly a $100 would sign a baseball or have his picture taken with you.. Reminded me of old pictures of the great Indian Chief Cochise being taken in front of a Cigar Store. How depressing for such a great to end up there. He needs to call Cal Ripkin for career advice. Charlie Hustle . what happened to you?
So I'm walking through the Mandalay bay shops on the way to the convention and I spot Pete Rose signing autographs.. While watching horse races on his iPad.. Classic! Also why he isn't in hall of game...

Gary and I had a great vacation this past week. Started with Beach Boys Concert in Pittsburgh, and as I said in a post last week, rode up in the elevator to our room with Brian Wilson and two band members from the Beach Boys, flew out to Vegas last Saturday. Went to Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, (nice) Terry Fator on Tuesday which is an awesome show, saw Scott Hamilton and Nathan Burton in the audience, dinner with some great friends from St. George on Wednesday, Jersey Boys on Thursday, Fremont Street a couple of nights, Ceasar's Palace for shopping, (didn't buy anything!) Treasure Island for their Pirate show (kinda different), saw Tony Dorsett and Gary saw Pete Rose. Went to the pool and lazy river two days which was nice. Had some great lunches and dinners at different places. The weather was perfect. It was 95-100 every day and sunny. Back last night. Vacation is over. It was great!
Just back from Vegas. WHAT A PLACE. Had so much fun with my beatiful wife Patti. High end shopping (We looked but did not touch), great restuarants, and just so much to see and do, almost over-whellming. Brush with greatness, saw Pete Rose (the hit king) signing cards at a memorabillia store at Cesars Forum of Shops and *** Butkas (the real hit king) of you guessed it ...DA BEARS... at a memorabillia store across from Pete. Small world, litterally ran into Irene Belanger on Saturday morning in front of Mandalay Bay, we were both doing our morning runs. Would definately go back, but stay someplace further up Las Vegas Blvd. Good to be back.
Ran in to Pete Rose just now here in Vegas. You'll NEVER in a million years guess where. Betting on baseball at The Mandalay Bay Sportsbook.
If I just heard that right on the Mandalay Bay Entertainment is on the Dodgers ownership. Pete Rose must be fuming.
Let me get this straight. Pete Rose betting on baseball, BAD! Mandalay Bay Entertainment buying into the Dodgers, GOOD?
