Pep Guardiola, Jupp Heynckes, Walter Mazzarri, Laurent Blanc, Roberto Mancini can't beat bus-parking tactics, but we expect AW to solve it.
1.Ryan Giggs 2.Diego Simeone 3.Roberto Martinez 4.Laurent Blanc 5.Pep Guardiola 6.Louis Van Gaal these are the candidates to became the next Manchester United manager.whom do you think should be appointed
Who is your ideal manager for United? DON'T say Klopp or Laurent Blanc. BOTH managers have said they will NOT be joining United this summer. Same with Pep Guardiola. As for Louis Van Gaal, I'd say that's a wrong move. He's 62. He's not going to be with us for very long before retiring. Yeah, he might get us back into the top 4, but he's not a long term decision. Someone LIKE Klopp would be perfect, considering Klopp himself is staying put. -Wario.
::: SOCCER NEWS::: Gerardo Martino insists Barcelona will not relax after their 2-0 UEFA Champions League victory at Manchester City on Tuesday. Lionel Messi opened the scoring from the spot shortly after half-time of the first leg of the last-16 tie after Martin Demichelis was sent off for bringing him down just inside the penalty area. Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc praised his side's mentality after their 4-0 UEFA Champions League demolition of Bayer Leverkusen. Blanc's team eased to an emphatic win in the first leg of their last-16 clash in Germany on Tuesday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring a double after Blaise Matuidi's early opener, before Yohan Cabaye capped off a fine performance with his first goal since joining from Newcastle United last month. Pep Guardiola believes that it would be "impossible" to face Bayern Munich's clash against Arsenal without Philipp Lahm in his squad. The UEFA Champions League holders visit the Emirates Stadium for a first-leg last-16 fixture on Wednesday, hoping t ...
MANAGERIAL MERRY-GO-ROUND MEANS TRANSFER CAN BEGIN: If this week has had a theme, it has been managerial unveilings. Pep Guardiola wooed the German crowds in "the biggest press conference in the club's history" on Tuesday. And the very next day, Carlo Ancelottiwas confirmed as Real Madrid's incumbent, shortly before Laurent Blanc appeared in the manager's chair at PSG. The knock on effect of this is that transfers will now start toget finalised. Three of European football's biggest cheque-books have new men holding the pens. And that is not to mention messrs Manuel Pellegrini and Jose Mourinho, recently installed at Manchester City and Chelsea respectively. There will certainly be a shift in the workforce over the coming month or two. Chelsea and Manchester City comfortably lead the transfer league table over the past few years in England. City's net spend is £390 million and Chelsea's is nearly £230 million. The team in third place is Stoke, with a measly £80 million net spend on players since 2008. M ...
Marca splash with the claim today that Luis Suarez agreed personal terms “weeks ago” on a move to Real Madrid. However, Suarez is now exploring other offers (which could include Premier League rivals Manchester City) due to the delay in Real Madrid making an offer to Liverpool. Now Carlo Ancelotti is installed as Real Madrid coach, Los Blancos will decide whether to bid 47 million euros (his release clause, according to Marca) for Suarez. The decision rests with Ancelotti and Marca suggest Suarez now has other offers available, comparable in financial terms. Suarez has reportedly grown impatient whilst at the Confederations Cup and new Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola is also tracking developments. Much like many other players who could be on the move (e.g. Gonzalo Higuain, David Luiz), the transfer market now looks set to get busier after Carlo Ancelotti and Laurent Blanc were installed at Real Madrid and PSG, respectively on Tuesday. Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has been very busy in the transfer ...
"The player in the Premiership I admire most? Easy – Scholes." - Patrick Viera "An amazingly gifted player who remained an unaffected human being." - Roy Keane "I tell anyone who asks me – Scholes is the best English player." - Laurent Blanc "I can’t understand why Scholes has never won the player of the year award. He should have won it long ago. Maybe it’s because he doesn’t seek the limelight like some of the other ‘stars’." - Thierry Henry "Paul Scholes had the best football brain I’d ever seen in a kid. Let’s face it. Paul Scholes is in a class of his own." - Brian Kidd "Paul Scholes would have been one of my first choices for putting together a great team." - Marcello Lippi "Out of everyone at Manchester United, I would pick out Scholes, he is the best midfielder of his generation. I would had loved to play alongside him." - Pep Guardiola "He is the one whose level I aspire to. He is the best player in the Premier League." - Cesc Fabregas "At La Masia his name was mentioned a lot. ...

SIR ALEX FERGUSON WANTS LAURENT BLANC TO MAN UTD OF ALL the stars to have entered Sir Alex Ferguson's dressing room during his 25-year reign few have struck the Manchester United boss as having the special talents to follow in his footsteps. But one man stood out from the moment he walked into the club - Laurent Blanc. And now current France boss Blanc is being secretly seen within United's corridors of power as the major contender - along with Pep Guardiola - to lead Old Trafford into the post-Ferguson era. Ferguson has always maintained he will be guided by his health and, publicly at least, United have a steadfast policy of refusing to speculate who might succeed the most successful manager in the history of British football. Chief executive David Gill's default position is that the club will address the issue when Fergie decides his time is up. United aren't foolish though, and they have a strategy in place if Ferguson decides he's had enough and wants to step down - whether that be mid-season or at t ...

CHELSEA OWNER Roman Abramovich OFFERS PEP GUARDIOLA TOTAL CONTROL AT THE CLUB Chelsea representatives are expected to meet Pep Guardiola in the next few days to discover whether he can finally be persuaded to join the club now that he has formally announced he is quitting Barcelona. Talks have been ongoing over the past few months with Guardiola as Roman Abramovich has sought to persuade the Spaniard to become the next manager at Stamford Bridge. The billionaire has already promised Guardiola ‘carte blanche’ at Chelsea in terms of how the club are run and structured and which players are bought and sold. Despite Guardiola’s denials on Friday, it is maintained by Chelsea sources that he did meet Abramovich and the Russian’s highly-influential personal assistant, Marina Granovskaia, in Paris. It is also believed that Guardiola has discussed the matter with former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti, who is now the head coach of Paris St-Germain. Guardiola has been Abramovich’s first choice to take ove ...

The Mirror: Pep Guardiola to arrive at Chelsea while Laurent Blanc heads for the Nou Camp
France coach Laurent Blanc is being considered by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich as the club's permanent successor to Andre Villas-Boas. - Blog: Familiar Chelsea recreated While Roberto Di Matteo has been undertaking his own extended job interview as the Blues' interim boss, Abramovich's aides have been trying to draw up a shortlist of candidates for the managerial position, which was vacated by the sacking of Villas-Boas in March. Delivering Champions League glory to the Blues for the first time could give Di Matteo the opportunity to hold on to the post, but former Manchester United and Inter Milan defender Blanc is among those in the frame to be given the job on a long-term basis this summer. Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola and former Chelsea darling Jose Mourinho are understandably top of Abramovich's wanted list, but the Russian billionaire only has an outside chance of attracting either. A secondary list of candidates has Blanc, whose contract with France expires after Euro 2012, at its summit; Marseil ...
