"The world wasn't a hospice with fresh air, the world was the Overlook Hotel, where the party never ended. Where the dead were alive forever." - Stephen King, Doctor Sleep
Just finished Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. Good read- the story of Danny Torrence (the boy from The Shining at the Overlook Hotel) as an adult. LOVED IT!
Perfect day to watch movies and finish Doctor Sleep (sequel to The Shining). I thought it was great. I love a great spooky story. All the snow today makes it easy to remember all the snow at The Overlook Hotel in The Shining.
I finished the book Doctor Sleep the sequal to The Shining(one of my favorite books) a few weeks ago. It was pretty good book it was interesting to see where Dannys(Dan now) life went after the craziness of the events at the Overlook hotel. But I still like shining better. Now I am reading a book by Joe Hill(believe it or not Stephen King's son) called A Heart Shaped Box its pretty good so far, they had a few of his books on sale for1.99 so I figured it was a good way to check out his work.

Now he faces a new challenge as Doctor Sleep when he is forced to battle evil once more to defend the very soul of Abra Stone, the girl with the most powerful shining ever from the immortal tribe The True Knot who seek her powers for their own ends. As ever Stephen King’s writing and story plots are second to none and the reader can do nothing else than b ...
