Almost 2 years ago I was invited to attend a workshop on "Tenage Sexual Abuse" at my university. Presentations were made, speeches were pronounced and from it all I took away: an average of 60 cases of sexual abuse were reported every month at Mnazi Moja hospital, 80% of the cases went unreported. Today was an awful day Miriam was very sick, she was feeling unwell, crying the whole morning & finally vomiting for 7 or 8 times. The vomiting was not stopping & there was pain in her tummy. Her dad was working so thanks god our next door neighbor dropped us off at the hospital , waited for us for like 3 hours till the doctors examin her & do all their medical checks then he dropped us off back home . Thanks god she is feeling much better now after the medicine that the doctors gave her at the hospital & i think she wants to rest now because she is really very tired. The doctors said that she ate something not clean which caused all that vomiting.Thanks god for those people you put on my way to help me. I was panicked & really didn't know what to do. Thanks my lord.

Scoop of a life time On this day two years ago I was called back into the office after spending 17 riveting days reporting from Tahrir. Being in the office was as boring as *** and felt like one was missing out on history. But at 5:15 on Feb 11 while in the office downtown, I got a call from a security source and a dear friend. "Looking for news?" he said chuckling. "What please fee eeh?" I asked eagerly.
