The *** here with tonight's Rd.3 French Open tips Bit of value floating around with the seeded players now running into each other meaning more competitive matches. Here are my best bets for tonight: *Tommy Robredo ($1.50)- Despite being lower ranked than John Isner he loves this surface and Isner doesn't.. Isner will have to tee of and make everything to win. *Jo Wilfired Tsonga ($1.18)- Playing well and too much class for Janowics. *Dominka Cibulkova ($2.50)- She is ranked higher than our own Sam Stosur and is in form but is somehow paying $2.50. Stosur will have to play her best to win here.. -Cibulkova 2 sets to 1 is paying $5- also very good odds. *Mugurusa ($1.30)- This young Spaniard dismantled Serena Williams so based on that should ease past her unseeded opponent. *Novak Djokovic- He is paying $1.30 to win 3 sets to 0 against Marin Cilic and based on the way he is playing, this should be no problem. VALUE BETS *Cibulkova ($2.50) *Cibulkova 2 sets to 1 ($5) *Robert Bautista Agut ($2.80)- The muc . ...
Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic are all in action on day four of the French Open at ROLAND-GARROS but defending champion Serena Williams is out. Latest text & BBC Radio Five Sport Extra commentary:
Guess who was in the crowd cheering on Roger Federer in his first round match at ROLAND-GARROS yesterday - Stanislas Wawrinka selfie! Comfortable wins for the Swiss and Serena Williams. Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal and Maria Sharapova all in action on Monday.
French Open With the French Open kicking off tonight, here are my picks for the tournament! The bookies have narrowed it down to a 2 horse race in the men's field with Novak Djokovic ($2.30) edging Rafael Nadal ($2.50) for favoritism. I can't see anyone outside of these 2 winning the tournament as well. Nadal at $2.50 is an absolute steal. Yes Novak has beaten him in the last 4 meetings and he hasn't been at his best, but Rafa is 59-1 in Paris and has won 8 of the last 9 Grand Slams there & is no doubt the best clay courter ever. Moving up from 3 to 5 set matches suits him to a tee here. Some markets have a Djokovic & Nadal final @ $2.40 which is also great value. In the women's draw Serena Williams ($2.20) is very short and clay is probably her worst surface but she is a class above when she is 100% fit. Li Na $6.50 is good value coming off an Aussie Open win and her opponent in that final, Dominika Cibulkova ($67) is massive overs. The clay suits her grinding style of game and as a top 10 player she'll ...
The draw has been set. The clay has been combed. All of the top players are in Paris. It's time for the French Open to begin. This year, the tournament feels a bit more up in the air than usual. Rafael Nadal still had the best clay season out of anyone, but it wasn't up to his lofty standards. The Spaniard only won one title, and lost in two straight quarterfinals to lower-ranked countrymen. Novak Djokovic beat him in the final of the Rome Masters last week to set up plenty of intrigue between the top two players in the world. On the women's side, Serena Williams is the favorite as always, but there are plenty of other contenders. Maria Sharapova continues her revival on clay, Simona Halep is looking to finally make a big move at a major and Ana Ivanovic has been turning the clock back to 2008, the year she won this tournament. As soon as the draws for major tournaments are released, fans look ahead to which players will be competing in quarterfinals and semifinals. However, this year's French Open will f ...
The French Open always presents a unique test. The second major of the season is the only one contested on clay, which requires a different skill set. It also starts a very busy stretch that continues through Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. Players are focused on setting a positive tone they can build from in the months ahead. Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams were the stars who accomplished that goal last year with triumphs at Roland Garros. It was Nadal's eighth French championship and Williams' second. Both the Spaniard and the American return with hope of defending their titles. There are 127 other players on each side looking to end those dreams. Where: Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France When: Sunday, May 25 - Sunday, June 8 Nadal is the unquestioned "King of Clay." He's won the French Open eight times in the past nine years, including the last four. The 13-time Grand Slam champion has defeated fellow top stars Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and David Ferrer in the last three finals. Yet, he enters the ...

The tennis tours arrived in the capital of Spain with doubts and questions. Two weeks later, they leave the capital of Italy with a sense of order that seems both traditional and renewed. Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal started the clay swing slowly, but they’ll head to its final event, in the capital of France, in their familiar positions as Grand Slam favorites. These days, nothing stays unsure for long in tennis. Here’s a review of Madrid and Rome, in the form of report cards. The grade reflects a player's performance at both tournaments. Jack’s Tennis Tip – Racket talent or athletic ability? I have a theory that you can put tennis players (any player) into one of two categories. They either fall under the category of 'racket talented' or 'athlete.' I made up this theory quite a while ago but I still think it is valid. There are a few players that confuse me but for the most part I think my theory holds true. Obviously the lines blur in some instances and without a doubt all of the players on the professional tour are racket talented and supremely athletic too, but bear with me; Rafael Nadal - athlete Novak Djokovic - athlete Stanislas Wawrinka - racket talented Juan Martin Del Potro - racket talented David Ferrer - athlete Andy Murray - athlete Tomas Berdych - racket talented Roger Federer - racket talented Richard Gasquet - racket talented Jo-Wilfried Tsonga - athlete Kei Nishikori - racket talented Gael Monfils - athlete Milos Raonic - racket talented John Isner - racket talented Grigor Dimitrov - racket talented Serena Williams - A ...

If you're looking forward to the tennis from Australian tonight (or today), we're hoping the heat won't cause suspension of play again today. The forecast is not vey optimistic, however. But there are some enticing prospective matches on the roofed courts, if worst comes to worst. Serena Williams leads the way on Rod Laver Arena, taking on Daniela Hantuchova. David Ferrer v. Jeremy Chardy will follow, and local player Casey Dellacqua will then play Jie Zheng. Over on Hisense Arena, American Alison Riske will try to take down the no. 9 seed Angelique Kerber. - Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams through in Melbourne
Melbourne (AFP) - Novak Djokovic's Boris Becker era got underway in low-key fashion as a clinical Serena Williams and Li Na showed their intent on an eventful first day at the Australian Open Monday. As temperatures soared and big names fell by the wayside, Djokovic and Williams dodged the day-time heat to open their campaigns with wins on a balmy evening at Rod Laver Arena. Williams put Australian teenager Ashleigh Barty to the sword but Djokovic, playing his first competitive match under new coach Becker, was surprisingly sloppy as he took nearly two hours to subdue Slovakia's Lukas Lacko. "It's my first competitive match this season after a five to six week break and I was rusty in the first two sets," admitted the Serb, seeking a fourth straight Melbourne title. "I was struggling to find rhythm on my backhand side." Despite the relatively below-par 6-3, 7-6 (7/2), 6-1 win, Djokovic was in no danger of joining Petra Kvitova, Venus Williams and Sara Errani among the casualties on day one. The unseeded V ...

Australian Open 2014: Day 1 Preview Posted: 12 Jan 2014 02:00 PM PST by: Tom Cochrane The 2014 Australian Open gets underway at Melbourne Park on Monday, with defending men’s singles champion Novak Djokovic and world number one Serena Williams, holders of 9 Australian Open titles between them, both featuring on the opening day of play. Matches of the Day – Day 1 1. Serena Williams vs. Ashleigh Barty Top seeded Williams faces an interesting opponent in the opening round in the form of local girl and rising star Ashleigh Barty. The diminutive Aussie is a former Wimbledon junior champion and, although she is yet to make a major impact on the WTA Tour in terms of singles performances, relying on a wildcard to enter the main draw of this tournament, Barty has already impressed on the doubles circuit. The Aussie, teaming up with compatriot Casey Dellacqua, made the final of 3 Grand Slams in 2013, thanks in no small part to her fabulous volleying ability. I suspect that the enormity of the occasion might ove ...

The order of play has been released for the first day of play at Melbourne Park, and features the night session of Djokovic versus Lukas Lacko, followed by Williams' challenge from Australian wildcard Ashleigh Barty. The day session on Centre Court sees two Aussies in action as German ninth seed Angelique Kerber faces local hopeful Jarmila Gajdosova, while Sam Stosur later takes stage against Czech player Klara Zakopalova. The Stosur match follows a men's first-round clash between Spain's world No.3 David Ferrer and Colombian Alejandro Gonzalez. At Hisense Arena on Monday, Stanislas Wawrinka, Li Na and Ana Ivanovic are all in action during the day session, while Australian Jordan Thompson is given a chance to shine as he meets 20th seed Jerzy Janowicz. Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams are named ITF World Champions for 2013
DJOKOVIC AND WILLIAMS ARE 2013 World Champion. Novak Djokovic has surprisingly been named as 2013 World Champion by the International Tennis Federation. Djokovic was chosen above the year-end world number one Rafael Nadal to claim the honour for the third year in a row. Serena Williams was a somewhat less controversial women's World Champion, winning the award for the second year in a row.She lost only four of her 82 matches in 2013, winning 11 titles in all, including two Grand Slams - the French and US Opens. It is the fourth time in total she has been named World Champion. Bob and Mike Bryan were chosen as men's doubles World Champions for the 10th time in 11 years, while Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci retained their World Champion tag. Germany's Alexander Zverev and Swiss youngster Belinda Bencic were crowned junior World Champions, while the wheelchair tennis awards went to Shingo Kunieda and Aniek van Koot. Nadal puts the gentleman in gentlemen's singles LONDON (Reuters) - For Rafael Nadal dignity in defeat is a deeply held belief and, along with his arch rivals, the Spaniard has put the gentleman back into the gentlemen's singles at Wimbledon. Compare that with the catfight that broke out between Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova in the lead-up to the world's most famous tennis tournament. Nadal, who tumbled out of the championships in a straight sets defeat by Belgian journeyman Steve Darcis on the opening day, declined to blame his wounded knee despite persistent questioning at the post-match news conference. He doesn't do excuses. The Spaniard, like Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic, is a great believer in mutual respect. The leading quartet on the men's circuit do not indulge in slanging matches. That prompted Latvian player Ernests Gulbis to complain in an interview with French newspaper L'Equipe last month that: "Tennis today badly lacks characters... all four of them are boring players. ...
Last Monday, the Wimbledon started at the fabled All England Lawn Tennis Club in London, England. This is the 3rd Grand Slam event for both the ATP/WTA and will run until July 7. For Wednesday, the second round action begins at the Centre Court with featured matches on both the men's and single's event. Second seed Victoria Azarenka will face Italy's Flavia Pennetta while third seed Roger Federer will go up against Ukraine's Sergiy Stakhovsky. Great Britain's hero Andy Murray would also have a match on this day. He will face Taipei's Yen-Hsun Lu at the No. 1 Court. Crowd darling and third seed Maria Sharapova will also play on Wednesday and face Portugal's Michelle Larcher De Brito. The sportsbook handicappers have installed Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams as the favorites to win the Wimbledon title in their respective events.
Day 2 at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships featured the top-seeded man and woman, Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams, roll to easy opening-round victories. But not every top seed was so fortunate, as British up-and-comer Laura Robson pulled off the day's biggest upset, taking out ranked Russian Maria Kirilenko in straight sets to give the hometown tennis fans something to cheer about during Andy Murray's off day
LONDON (AP) -- Back in her comfort zone on Centre Court, Serena Williams delivered an overpowering statement: When her serve is steaming, she's the woman to beat at Wimbledon. Putting aside her recent comments that led to a couple of apologies and a brief spat with Maria Sharapova, Williams looked every bit the five-time champion. She began her Wimbledon title defense with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Mandy Minella of Luxembourg. ''For me, it's the greatest moment for a tennis player, to walk out on Centre Court,'' Williams said after her first match at Wimbledon since winning the Olympic gold medal there last year. ''That was such a great moment, too. So many great memories on this court.'' Top-ranked Novak Djokovic also opened with a straight-sets victory, beating Florian Mayer of Germany 6-3, 7-5, 6-4. Mayer is a two-time Wimbledon quarterfinalist, losing to Djokovic at that stage last year. But he was never in danger of springing another stunner following Rafael Nadal's first-round exit a day earlier. Djok ...
Serena Williams isn't the only one who was taking shots at Maria Sharapova heading into this week's Wimbledon. Novak Djokovic mocked the tennis star while playing a charity match against her boyfriend, Grigor Dimitrov earlier this week. Dimitrov laughed, and as for Sharapova, questions about his performance seemed to be a nice distraction from questions about William's comments about her personal life in a recent Rolling Stone article. "I loved it," she told Djokovic in front of reporters. "I don't do any of those things anymore. I don't stick my a-- out. I don't do this with my hair anymore, so obviously you haven't watched me play recently."
After the shock exit of Rafael Nadal on Day 1, Wimbledon was primed for another day of thrilling action including No.1 seeds Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic. There was also a brilliant win for Laura Robson
Wimbledon was amazing today. Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic and Laura Robson were great!
Laura Robson has been the story of Day 2 at Wimbledon so far as the 19 year old upsets 10th seed Maria Kirilenko to win 6-3 6-4! No prblems for Serena Williams or Novak Djokovic who both win in straight sets.
Live text, video and radio commentary as Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, Heather Watson and Laura Robson are all in action.
Wimbledon Tennis Championships begins in London Jun 24 The 127th edition of the Wimbledon Tennis Championship begins in London on Monday. The top seeds like Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova are taking part in this competition. While Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupati, Rohan Bopanna with their partners will take part in men's doubles, Sania Mirza will be playing women's doubles with her American partner Leizel Huber. The duo of Divij Sharan and Purav Raja will play their first ever Grand Slam match today. A report. The first Indian who played at the Wimbledon, was Sardar Nihal Singh in 1908. Later, Vijay Amritraj from Madras has been a regular to the Wimbledon since 1969. He had the distinction of reaching the quarter-final stage in 1973 and then again in 1981. In 1999, top seeds Leander Paes and his partner Mahesh Bhupathi created history by becoming the first Indians to win a major title at the Wimbledon. Since then Paes has lifted mixed double troph ...

ESPN pundits John Mcenroe and Chris Evert gave their thoughts on who they think will be holding the trophies at the end of the Wimbledon fortnight. Wimbledon.com joined in to hear their views... In the days leading up to a major, the talk in the tennis world is always around who is favoured to take home the trophy at the close of the fortnight. In the case of The Championships 2013, Serena Williams is the leading candidate among the women. The 31-year-old Williams is the world No.1, the top seed and the defending champion who is fresh off a title at Roland Garros and riding a 31-match winning streak that dates back to March. But on the men's side, it's not as easy for the 127th Championships. Top seed Novak Djokovic won the year's opening major in Australia, but Rafael Nadal stormed back from injury to capture his record eighth title in Paris earlier this month. Roger Federer, a seven-times winner at Wimbledon, is the defending champion here. But it's actually Andy Murray who was technically the last to h ...

Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams top the Roland Garros odds but Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova will be hopeful of overturning the tennis betting
So the semi-finals are set. For the ladies seed Serena Williams will play last year's finalist Sara Errani. Maria Sharapova will play Victoria Azarenka, a rematch of last year's Australian Open Final and US Open semi-final, Azarenka won both of them. On the men's side, its Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and David Ferrer. The other semi-final is Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.
Like an apparition - I've spent last weekend in the stands of Phillipe Chartrier at the Roland Garros Grand Slam in Paris watching the gratest icons of our generation, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, but also Novak Djokovic, Jo-Wilfred Tsonga among others. When all of sudden, for a brief moment, John Mcenroe emerged from the
Yesterday’s unfortunate weather delays made today an incredible day to be a spectator at Roland Garros, as almost all of the top seeds took to the courts. Continuing to look strong Federer, Tsonga and Ferrer win in straight sets; Nadal, again a little slower start losing the 1st set but then comfortably winning in 4. Unfortunately for all of us Monfils’ run comes to end after being up 2 sets, Robredo takes the match in the 5 sets. On the women’s side - Sharapova and Serena Williams continue with easy wins in straight sets. A little surprise was Errani’s straight set win 6-0, 6-4 over Lisicki. Kerber, finished off a tough, close match with an ace against American Lepchenko. An interesting matchup tomorrow will be Djokovic and the young Bulgarian, Dimitrov, who beat him a few weeks ago in Madrid.
The 2013 French Open begins on Sunday with Round 1 play, as the 2nd Grand Slam tennis tournament of the year takes center stage on the red clay of Roland Garros in Paris. Novak Djokovic sits in the top stop on the men's singles side, and will face Belgium's David Goffin in Round 1. The man who defeated Djokovic in last year's final to capture the 2012 French Open title, Rafael Nadal, begins the tournament ranked 3rd, and will face Germany's Daniel Brands in Round 1. Roger Federer is the tournaments number 2 seed, and Spain's David Ferrer, at number 4, round out the top 4 spots. Americans Sam Querrey and John Isner are ranked number 18 and 19 respectively. Isner faces Carlos Berlocq, of Argentina, in Round 1 while Querrey takes on Slovakia's Lukas Lacko. On the women's singles side, Serena Williams holds the number 1 spot and she faces Anna Tatishvili, of Georgia, in Round 1. Williams sister, Venus, comes into the French Open with the number 30 seed. Maria Sharapova, who won her 1st French Open championshi ...

Serena Williams will be looking to continue her Australian Open domination on ... -
The big four Grand Slams will obviously be the highlight of the calendar year in Tennis . Last season Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray all claimed one each. Will it be a return to a more dominant year for the Serb, Novak Djokovic though, with Nadal still struggling with fitness problems and Federer heading to the twilight years of his career? In the women’s category, can world number one Victoria Azarenka hold off the challenges of Serena Williams? Will Maria Sharapova make a bigger impact? The action starts mid January with the Australian Open, followed by the French Open in May, Wimbledon in July and the US Open to round off the Slam series in August. So much to look out for in the world of tennis in 2013.
Defending champion Victoria Azarenka and 15-time major titlist Serena Williams were both easy second-round winners on Thursday at the Australian Open, while in a late night finish on the Rod Laver Arena Britain's Lora Robson again underlined her future at the top of the ladies game by stunning the
With temperatures well over the 100-degree mark, Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka were in no mood to stick around on the searing courts at the Australian Open. A dancing Azarenka and an ankle-weary Williams played back-to-back matches Thursday on Rod Laver Arena, both easy straight-set victories. U.S. Open champion Murray also won routinely, beating Joao Sousa of Portugal 6-2, 6-2, 6-4 on Hisense Arena, the second show court at Melbourne Park. "You need to be the one that's trying to dictate the points in these conditions," said Murray, who practices in Florida. "Miami is the perfect preparation. It's hot and humid there, although it certainly doesn't get up to 37 degrees (Celsius; 99 Fahrenheit). It was a good match to get done in straight sets. " Despite the high temperatures — it later peaked at 106 F — tournament officials left the retractable roofs on both main arenas open because a combination of factors including humidity and court temperature didn't warrant making the venues a temporary i ...

Backpass, January 11 Part 1 The 2013 tennis season is barely a week old, but the Grand Slam season is already upon us. Lovers of the game are already wondering if Serena Williams will continue her major winning streak. Others wonder whether Novak Djokovic will defend his title and win his first major of the year. The Australian Open Tennis Tournament begins Monday, January 14, 2013, and ends Sunday, January 27, 2013. Question: Who are your top picks in the men and women's singles and what do we have to do to get Nigerian players feature at tennis Grand Slams?
411: Murray Seeded Third In The Aussie Open !!! Andy Murray has been confirmed as the third seed for the upcoming Australian Open. The British number one, who won his maiden Grand Slam at last year’s US Open and yesterday retained his Brisbane Open title, is looking to win at Melbourne Park for the first time after finishing runner-up in 2010 and 2011. Top seed in the men’s draw is world number one and two-time reigning champion Novak Djokovic, with Roger Federer second, David Ferrer fourth and Tomas Berdych fifth. Rafa Nadal, the world number four, pulled out of the tournament last week through illness. The top women’s seed is Victoria Azarenka, followed by Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Agnieszka Radwanska and Angelique Kerber, matching the ATP world rankings. The Australian Open takes places between January 14-27.IRE O.
Among the 411 matches played--men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles--there were more than just a few that were memorable. Yes, moments stick out, like Bob Bryan's incredible between-the-legs shot at a crucial point in a tiebreak, or Serena Williams' back-from-the-dead run from 3-5 down in the final set of the women's final. We've combed through the 411 to offer up our 12 best, plus a smattering of "honorable mentions" below. Andy Murray def. The Briton had lost in his four prior tries, winning just one of 13 sets. But this match was a classic from the get go, with Murray squeezing out the first-set breaker on his sixth set point, jumping out in front of Novak Djokovic, the defending champion. Murray looked as though he might run away with it, taking a 4-0 lead in the second. But Novak fough ...

Day Two: 2012 US Open Radek Stepanek gets the Award for the Ugliest Men’s Outfit. I know it’s only the second day and we still have more first round match-ups tomorrow, but I’m going to go out on a limb and give it to Radek. That Statue of Liberty lithograph shirt he wore today was even worse than the peekaboo shirt some Hungarian player wore a few years ago at the Open. Radek is also the strangest looking guy on tour. Novak Djokovic needs to stop wearing those little boy shorts. I don’t know who his clothing sponsor is, but the shorts they make for him are outright creepy. Serena Williams needs to drop her hemline down at least 6 inches. I thought her Giant Purple Panties from Wimbledon were awful, but now she sports neon yellow ones- even harder to miss! Her sister Venus is way too skinny. Bethanie Matek-Sands could definitely win the Ugliest Woman’s Outfit this year, but let’s just agree that her outfits are always hideous. I say she gets the Honorary Ugly Woman’s Outfit Award fro ...

Are these elaborate weaves of coloured "Kinesio tape" a genuine leap forward in the treatment of sports injuries? Or is the tape, ubiquitous at the Olympics, the new Kabbalah bracelet? The strong, elasticated Kinesio Tex tape was developed more than 30 years ago by a Japanese chiropractor, Dr Kenzo Kase. He found that the application of the tape replicated some of the beneficial effects of manual therapy, such as massage, in reducing pain and soreness for injured patients. First seen on Sumo wrestlers, the tape took off when rolls were donated to 58 countries at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Sportsmen and women from Lance Armstrong to Serena Williams have worn elastic therapeutic tape and a conf ...
Morning All, Shift Six update, and where do I start, well let me just say the best shift so far! Shift was due to start at 4.00, however I got there at 2.45, planning to watch some tennins on The Hill. Federer (SUI) was playing Del Potro (ARG), final set, so coming to an end soon. Watched for a while then moved on as it was coming to an end 'soon'. Could not be more wrong, the match lasted almost 4 hours. I was wondering if I would get placed in the Royal Box today and who I might get to watch. The manager game to brief us at 4.30 for a 4.45 shift start, what happened to the 4.00 start. Right at that moment news cam through that Federer had won. And guess what i was nearly in the Royal Box. First shift was just outside, well not bad I suppose. Stood there to see al the dignitaries walk past me including a very geeky looking Bill Gates, wow didn't realise he was that old. Got the opportunity to see the beginning of Serena Williams (USA) begin her match against No. 1,Victoria Azarenka (BLR - Bela ...
Oh yes NBC, I'd much prefer to see Serena Williams over Novak Djokovic. Inconceivable I'd rather watch a non-American.

Maybe there's something to be salvaged from the Olympics, after all: In the Olympic Games Village, athletes from far flung countries like Lao, American Samoa and Palau meet, live and dine with greater sporting powerhouses like Jamaica, China and the United States of America. Kenyans living in the Games village are certainly having a time of their life. It is not every day that you bump into Neymar, Marcelo, Novak Djokovic or Serena Williams. It is not everyday that you share a gym with Yohan Blake and Usain Bolt. Team Kenya captain David Rudisha has either been the luckiest, or most keen on photo opportunities with sport’s leading superstars on his day one in London. At all times, he’ll move with his camera close to him in the village. It works no doubt. Because you never know who you will encounter. Some are hard to get.
Heading into the closing stages of Wimbledon, the clear favourites to win the 2012 tournament are Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams, but for the pair the good news does not stop there.
6times Wimbledon Champion Roger Federer demolishes world no 1 Novak Djokovic. Storms in2 d final of Wimbledon 2012! So after Serena Williams yesterday...Federer today pruvs that "Old is Gold"!
Roger Federer road to final Wimbledon 2012 after beat Novak Djokovic in semifinal..Hope Serena Williams and Roger Federer will be a winner on Wimbledon this year.. :D
This is Matt and Alice reporting from Wimbledon. Been out for a couple of days but that's ok. Congratulations to Serena Williams and Aggie Radwanska for making the women's final. Aggie is in her first Grand Slam. Today is the men's semi finals and we have a couole of good ones. The first one is a historic matchup between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic and in the second match Andy Murray is carrying the entire weight of the british world on his shoulders as he will try and beat frenchman Jo Wilfred Tsonga. Today are the men's Semis, it should be fun!
that Serena Williams is on FiYa, cant nobody beat her as a matter of fact she should just go ahead and play Novak Djokovic Lmao seriously, he seems to be the only one that can give her some competition and even that is questionable Lmao
Can't sleep as usual so I'm cheering on Del Porto at Wimbledon. Waiting for Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic later. Both are my picks to win it all.

Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and other men’s tennis players who have complained about the blue clay at the Madrid Open are “weenies,” according to former women’s No. 1 Serena Williams.
ROME (AP) A week after Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal lost in the Madrid quarterfinals on an experimental blue court, both showed they remain a force on red clay Friday by reaching the Italian Open semifinals.
OK who is picking which players to advance to the respective finals in Rome? Apia International Sydney winner Li Na plays AIS finalist Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova faces Angelique Kerber while in the men's Apia International Sydney winner Roger Federer players Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal plays David Ferrer.
Smack talk in tennis? Two of the top men's tennis players in the world have been complaining about the blue clay surface at the Madrid Open. Novak Djokovic [Jock-o-vich] and Rafael Nadal have gone so far as to threaten to boycott the Madrid event next year unless they bring back traditional red dirt. Well, Serena Williams came out and blasted the guys, calling them "weenies." "Women are way tougher than men. That's why we have the babies; you guys could never handle kids," Williams said. "We ladies don't complain we just do our best. On the WTA tour we are real performers; we are not about going out there and being weenies."
LOL what an awful thing to call a grown man. "Serena Williams calls Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal ‘weenies’ for complaining about blue clay.
