Just my thoughts on and along with other Hollywood types that would criticize any member of the American military. The only reason people like you are allowed to express an option about our men and women serving in combat zones is because of the job these men and women do. To call any one of them "Coward" is hypocritical coming from people hiding behind the shield of liberty they provide. Challenging an obscure dictator with an idiotic movie doesn't count unless you travel to North Korea for a screening. Seth Rogan and Michael Moore, you are the current version of Hanoi Jane. To rationalize your statements by claiming they were taken out of context is ridiculous. You are very aware of the media and how your words will be conveyed. Own your point of view. I encourage you to do as Jane Fonda did and visit ISIS and their operation in the Middle East. Maybe you can be present at one of their video taped executions. Maybe you could even participate as a victim. Maybe then as you pray for our brave sol ...
War Zones Are Still Hot But Cheap Oil Is Making Traders Complacent Back when oil traded at $115 a barrel in June, traders were talking about the fighting in places like Iraq, Ukraine and Libya as part of the reason it was so high. Fast forward seven months and while crude has faded to $50 a barrel amid a supply glut, those geopolitical risks -- along with some new ones that emerged -- remain largely intact. Islamic State militants haven’t given up the goal of a Middle East caliphate, Libya is mired in chaos, pro-Russian separatists keep skirmishing with Ukrainian forces and North Korea is fighting Hollywood. All of this has some analysts wondering if investors are setting themselves up for a nasty surprise by driving oil down so far. To Michael McCarthy, chief strategist at CMC Markets, current prices indicate investors see “almost zero risk” of a geopolitical event disrupting output. In other words, brace for a big jump if something does flare up in a key producing region. “Depending on what hits ...

A PLAN TO ESTABLISH AN INDEPENDENT COMMUNIST STATE OF KURDISTAN IN THE MIDDLE EAST DATING BACK 100 YEARS... This is A CENTURY-OLD PLAN OF THE DEEP STATES OF THE US AND EUROPE. HOW IS THIS PLAN INTENDED TO PROCEED? First of all; 1- AUTONOMY WILL BE ESTABLISHED IN THE SOUTHEAST. The USA and Europe will remove the PKK from the list of terror organizations and prepare the foundation for the establishment of a state on one hand. An intense propaganda initiative will be created to that end. 2- The autonomous structure established in the Southeast will turn into a COMMUNIST RED KURDISTAN state that includes our Kurdish brothers in Syria and Iraq. This state will be cruel and despotic as a model of a Stalinist, communist proletarian dictatorship. 3- The first thing this red state that will be the North Korea of the Middle East will do is to FORM A STRONG MILITARY FORCE. 4- The army of this independent communist Kurdistan will be equipped with weapons produced by Russia, China, America, the UK and Germany. Steinitz: Iran deal must prevent cooperation with North Korea
THE BUZZ Tale of the Tape: Comparing Chinese and American Strategies in Asia Dan BlumenthalEddie Linczer November 10, 2014 What does President Obama hope to achieve during his trip to Beijing for the APEC summit? How does he *** his ability to accomplish his China agenda? There is no shortage of issues to discuss with Xi Jinping. The two countries ostensibly share concerns about an unstable nuclear North Korea, Iran’s drive toward nuclear weapons, and the failing old order in the Middle East. But little progress has been made. While Xi talks about a “new-type of great power relationship,” he seems to mean the U.S. should come to China as a supplicant, as National Security Advisor Rice did recently, asking for China’s help on the Middle East—now of equal importance to Beijing and Washington. The presidential visit comes at a perilous time for Sino-American relations. Washington has not adequately answered China’s continued aggression toward Japan and Southeast Asian nations. Moreover, the ...
Sometimes--no, often--we forget just how well off we are in the face of the myriad of problems in the world today. I hope the author won't mind me passing on his comment, I'm not registered with that online publication, or I'd have asked first. I wish I could thank him directly. Sometimes the comments on an article are as good, even better, than the article itself. Both the Communist and anti-Communist tyrannies mostly collapsed within the first few years after the Soviet Union split up. Many of the Civil Wars petered out, and relatively few replaced them. Economic growth started to catch on globally, with some hitches. It used to be that all of Central Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, and Latin America were political and economic disaster zones, with something over 150 tyrannies and Civil Wars. Now we are down to North Korea, Belarus, problems in Ukrai ...
Put Ebola into perspective: The population of the West African countries affected is less than 8 million. Of those, only 8,000 have been infected, with about a 60% mortality rate. On the level of those individuals, it is most certainly tragic, and the nations involved are suffering economically. I don't want to see people suffer. However, how does it stack up against all the killing going on in Africa and the Middle East? How does it stack up against Malaria? Famine in North Korea? Is the media sensationalizing something and arousing fear over something that it should just report on? Just a thought.

In his address to the nation today, President Obama doesn’t have to convince us ISIS is barbaric, a threat to the stability of the entire Middle East, or even a potential threat to the United States. He doesn’t have to convince anyone that air strikes on them both in Iraq and Syria are a good idea. Instead, he needs to explain what we must do if air strikes don’t work. Even more basically, he needs to explain his view of America’s role in the world – not only in Syria and Iraq but also in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Somalia, North Korea, and China. His Foreign Policy has lurched from one crisis to another without any guiding principle (as his Former Secretary of state has emphasized). That leaves Americans confused and unprepared to make whatever sacrifices are necessary. You agree?
North Korea, the Middle East, and India are the parts of the world you couldn't pay me to go to.
I think as a rule most people aren't moved to action until it's personal. If you're not black, you probably don't have the context to understand Ferguson. If you're not Jewish, you probably don't understand Israel. If you've never lived in the war-torn Middle East, you probably don't understand Foley. And you certainly aren't going to begin understanding by allowing the mainstream American media to inform you. I'm not saying the American media is pure propaganda, or that it's just as bad or worse than that of places like China, North Korea, Mexico, et al., but I am saying that we live in an era now where better information is available, and that as Americans afforded a still very enviable quality of life, we have a duty to be more diligent in honoring the freedoms we've been afforded and cautious in forming our too-often naive and shortsighted opinions. Many of my friends may not know that changing my major at UCSD from psychology to political science was a direct result of waking up on the morning of ...

The 3 headed beast that the bible speaks of Russia, Middle East, North Korea
Russia has more nukes than us and they are going to team up North Korea & the entire Middle East for WW3 ONLY is a US plane gets shot down
A somber piano track bolsters scenes of war and oppressive regimes. There are allusions to North Korea and the Middle East, World War II and the Vietnam War. A character resembling Kim Jong-un overlooks a massive crowd, a man has what seems to be a bomb handcuffed to his wrist, a young soldier grips his machine gun, and a tank patrols a destroyed city. Everything seems bleak, until each of the men connects romantically with his wife or girlfriend. "Make Love, Not War," Axe says: The ad is for the new fragrance "Peace." An abridged 30-second version of the commercial will run during the Super Bowl on Feb. 2. BBH London wanted to do something completely different after the success of its previous Super Bowl campaign, which launched the "Apollo" line last year. It promoted Apollo with a contest that will send finalists on a Lynx spacecraft when the program goes live (probably next year). It drove sales across 50 markets, which inspired the ad team coming into this year's project. "It dawned upon us that we c ...
Good afternoon my friends. And the madness goes on, and on, and on - now leaving 295 innocent people shot out of the sky by Russia or the terrorists who are supported by Russia. .And what are the other Europeon countries doing about it? The only thing I've heard come out so far, is a few countries are telling their pilots not to fly over that area. What about not doing business with Russia? What about holding Russian bank deposits to pay for those victims families? To tell you the truth, I'm scared to death about the craziness going on around our world. Russia, North Korea, the Middle East, Israel, China - the profiliration of nukes and chemical weapons in the hands of lunatics. How do we stop this madness before human kind is destroyed? Am I the only one who's scared to death? Let me know how you feel.
just wipe the whole Middle East off of the map and Russia and North Korea then live in peace
On Iraq. A World Without An American Leader. The Ultra Radical ISIS is preparing to set up the first terrorist nation in the history of the world. It's emergence will not finally put the Iraq problem to rest. It will exacerbate it. Those here in the US, including the President, who believe this is the end of our problem are soon to realize that radical destabilization of the center of the Middle East lays the groundwork for greater losses and bigger wars. In the old days of Saddam Hussein, Hussein funneled money to Hamas who gave it to Palestinian parents who sacrificed their children for the greater good. Palestinian children strapped C4 to their waists and walked off to blow themselves up along with civilian targets in Israel. Each time this happened $25,000 was delivered to the parents for the participation of family and children. That type of thinking is incomprehensible to us in the West but it is the reality of a culture stuck in the 7th Century and wrapped in a warped philosophy where brutalit ...
While the Obama Administration works feverishly to try and cover their… behinds, the rest of the world is devolving into chaos. Russia is demonstrating aggression, North Korea continues to talk boldly and the Middle East and North Africa is rapidly destabilizing, all thanks to the complete dearth of leadership emanating from Washington. - Sponsored Link - Now, with our stature in freefall thanks to the amateurs running the State Department, Israel may one day be a memory as ISIS claims to have access to nuclear weapons and intends to use those weapons to obliterate Israel in order to secure victory for Palestine. According to a report from the World Net Daily, a source claims that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is working with an organized group whose efforts are focused “exclusively on destroying the Zionist regime occupying Palestine.” The source quoted an ISIS fighter who said, “Zionists call us masked, sociopathic murderers, but we are much more complicated and representative of th ...
We should redeploy our troops out of the Middle East, South Korea, Japan and Europe. The closest thing the United States has to state enemies—North Korea, Iran, and Syria—together spend about $10 billion annually on their militar- ies, less than one-sixtieth of what we do. They are local troublemakers, but all lack military means to strike our shores—a tactic that would only invite their destruction in any case. Russia’s declining democracy is troubling, but no immediate threat to Americans. Should Russia threaten Europe, the Europeans, with a collective economy larger than ours, should defend themselves.
North Korea, Africa, Middle East, Russia... What do they have in common? 1) Horrible places to be 2) No Golf. This is not a coincidence
World War Three in Brief A Three World War scenario was developed several decades ago (see Conspiratorial History). Two World Wars have already been achieved, and the Third and final World War envisions an attack on Iraq, Iran and/or Syria as being the trigger to set the entire Middle East into fiery conflagration. Once America is firmly entrenched into the Middle East with the majority of her first-line units, North Korea is to attack South Korea. Then, with America's forces stretched well beyond the limit, China is to invade Taiwan. This will usher in the start of World War Three. World War Definition: What constitutes a 'World War'? How many countries need to be involved? And who decides at which point a number of regional skirmishes can be grouped together and called a World War? At the time, who called the official start of World War 1 and World War 2? And have you noticed that although the term 'World War Three' is freely used in the alternative press and on the Internet, all the major news net ...

Today's Missions News: Christians are under siege in the Middle East, and the Obama administration is not doing enough to stop religious persecution by its allies, according to a new report from a bipartisan federal commission. The report, from the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, faulted usual suspects Iran, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, as well as North Korea. The number of Christians in the Middle East has plunged to just 10 percent of the overall population from more than 25 percent in 2011. "While the Obama administration should continue to shine a spotlight on abuses through public statements, it also should impose targeted sanctions to demonstrate that there are consequences, too," Dwight Bashir, the commission's deputy director of policy and research, told FoxNews.com. "By not utilizing an existing legislative tool, the United States risks sending the message that it prefers a nuclear deal to standing up for the rights of the Iranian people. The United States should not b ...
Asia-Pacific Regional security shifts Security Regroupings In Asia-Pacific – Analysis May 1, 2014 Rajaram Panda President Barack Obama’s just-concluded swing to four Asian capitals sent a clear message to the world that the US is going to stay in Asia, a reaffirmation of his rebalancing strategy to Asia, much against the widely speculated view that the US would remain bogged down in the Middle East and Afghanistan. While in Japan, Obama openly took the position that the disputed Senkaku/Diaoyu islands are Japanese territory and come under Article 5 of the Japan-US Security Treaty, much to the displeasure of the Chinese. South Korea being in sorrow because of the ferry disaster, Obama could not achieve anything significant, except that he warned North Korea that a fourth nuclear test by it is unacceptable and would invite further sanctions. His trip to Malaysia was significant that it came after 1966 when Lyndon Johnson had set foot in this Asian country. His most significant achievement came from the ...
World's Largest Religion Also Most Persecuted WASHINGTON -- Some of the top fighters against persecution from all over the world came to Capitol Hill this week to sound an alarm at a House hearing about the global war against Christians. Their bottom line: the 2.3 billion Christians alive today may form the world's largest religion, but they are also the most persecuted religious group. "It is a huge problem and it's getting worse, not just in the Middle East, though it's getting worse there, but in China, in North Korea and elsewhere," Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., told CBN News. "There's an explosion of persecution against Christians, including martyrdom, torture, and harassment of all kinds," he said. Boston Globe Associate Editor John Allen traveled the world to gather the horrific facts for his book The Global War on Christians: Dispatches from the Front Lines of Anti-Christian Persecution. Allen said a major problem for Christians is they make such a convenient target for those angry at the West. Target ...
Dear President Obama, Mr Cameron and all the other spineless "Leaders of the Free World" Today's headlines: "Iron Curtain' sanctions rile Russia" "Deadly mortar attack in Damascus" "Olympic preparations 'worst ever' " "North Korea conducts live-fire drill near disputed border" "US-set Middle East peace deadline expires" The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. So, what happened to your hard talking deadlines in Crimea, Ukraine, Syria, Russia, North Korea and the Middle East? Was there nothing in it for you? Oh tempore, oh mores! Life can be depressing sometimes! I hope and pray that an independent Scotland can be a Nation that can hold its head high in the World today!
I was always told to "pick your battles" and "you can't win em'all." Then what are we doing in Russia, China, North Korea and the Middle East etc?
It's obvious the people don't want war but yet in Russia the Middle East and North Korea govt they all do...and for what?
Is the ground being settled for the 3rd World War? China is threatening Japan, North Korea vs Japan, there is total chaos in Central African Republic, Russia is invading Ukraine and threatening Western powers while Western powers are trying to counter Russian invasion, Turmoil in Egypt, Syria and Iraq, Israel versus Palestine, Saudia is not happy with US over Iran's nuclear issue, the growing power of Iran which consequently is an (assumed) threat to Sunni block of Middle East, Last but not least negotiations with Taliban, which means giving them share in politics and apprehensions about BJP becoming the winning party in India, religious extremists on the both sides of border; India and Pakistan . What is missing in all these episodes is the role of UN as a peace keeping agency.
It was Musharaf who let media to grow exponentially and promoted free-speech. Bigots, who try to *** this contribution from Musharaf by saying it was due to Global Pressure, forget North Korea, Middle East and numerous other third world countries who still deprived from such freedom.
The UN was created to stop aggression and wars? We have Russia, Syria, Somalia Pirates, the rest of the Middle East, North Korea trying to start trouble! What is the UN trying to push, climate change? Why you ask? It couldn't be the carbon tax credits they want all countries to pay, now could it? UN, try to stay focused on what you were established for?
Make Oil obsolete! We do NOT go to war over humanitarian issues. IF we did... we would STILL be in North Korea. ALL of our wars, since Vietnam, HAVE BEEN about oil. ALL OF THEM. So take oil out of the picture and the Middle East AND Russia no longer have an economy or ANY power. Oh wait... I am sorry... The Big Oil Companies buy our elections. Therefore ... Wind, Solar, and Electric (or any other energy source) vs. oil will never happen in our lifetime. Carry on. -Sir Jim
My article published in January 2014 in the e-book What Next: Essays On What Matters in Geopolitics published by WEF's Global Council on GeoPolitical Risk. The China Nexus: Convergence and Divergence on the Russian Federation, Energy Infrastructure and the Region Beyond Nasim Zehra On the Asian chessboard, China’s evolving relationship with the Russian Federation, the region’s other major power, is manifesting itself in the form of increased cooperation through their shared institutions and col- laborative diplomatic moves over issues like North Korea and counter-terrorism. It is possible to map China’s regional integration through its energy pursuits: China’s takeover of the strategically located Pakistani Gwadar seaport – another addition to China’s “string of pearls” outposts in the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Ocean – is a potentially game-changing development. The China-Pakistan comprehensive plan to jointly develop a trade and energy corridor will also have a significant impa ...

Putin is on the move and Europe is on the edge. Iran is on the verge of the bomb. Syria is a bloodbath, in fact the middle east is in chaos with voids being filled by radical fundamentalists. The entire region is a powder keg ready to go off. And China has its eyes on Japanese islands in the China sea. Not to mention the in-bred nutjob in North Korea. And domestically we are in an economic malaise with a massive expanding welfare State. Median income is down, prices up, jobs are minimal, the nation is 17 trillion in debt with 100 trillion in unfunded liabilities, ObamaCare is spreading chaos and the President and leader of the Free World is. filling out NCAA B-ball brackets. We're screwed.
He has accomplished his number one goal! Destroy our military! March 18, 2014 Recently, as part of the overall White House budget rollout, Defense Department officials publicly released details of the proposed national security budget for Fiscal 2015. The budget submission comes at a time when numerous events around the world illustrate how potentially challenging the emerging post-war security environment could be for U.S. interests. In Afghanistan, U.S. forces are drawing down with uncertainty lingering over whether a bilateral security agreement might be achieved, which leaves the possibility open for complete withdrawal. In the greater Middle East, tensions are high in Egypt, Syria, and Iran. In the Asia-Pacific, China recently announced a 12% increase in defense spending, and North Korea continues to be as militarily provocative as ever. And recently, Russia has taken over the Crimean peninsula. It's with these events in mind, and in consideration of threats like cyber and anti-area/access denial, .. ...
While we talk a lot about the Middle East, North Korea and China, it looks like it was the Irish who invaded us after all.
“Jesus who came and conquered will come again.” By Pastor Loescher The inquisitive mind of the catechism student asked, “Pastor, I don’t get why wars are a sign of Jesus’ coming since there have always been wars.” What a good observation that causes us all to pause and notice! The world’s struggles and our personal struggles are not worse or different from what happened to Jesus himself when he walked the earth and talked of such signs. Wars continue as do the rumors of wars. Sabers are rattling in the Ukraine, North Korea, and the Middle East. Untold pain and blood shed results, hideous crimes against the human souls of those caught in the conflict. Even so, as Jesus walked into Jerusalem for the last time, he wept over the impending doom of Jerusalem. The efficient war machine of Rome would bring her down, starving her inhabitants leaving no survivors and no stone on top of another. Even as Jerusalem was toppled never to really rise again to its former self, God’s Church grew and spread ...
On the bus now the old guys are discussing North Korea and the Middle East these guys can fix the worlds problem.
US and its propaganda in Hollywood Back then when we were kids, we are more interested in watching "Commandos" film, where they engage in way with vietnams.if you could remember vividly, a single commando will dislodge an army barrack single handedly.I call this redicule of the Vietnam soldiers! In the 21st century, we watched films tagging Arabs or the middle east as terrorists.this) s attributed to the clandestine conspiracy of Sept 11 (0911) = (america police emergency line). We now talk of Koreans as terrorists. Here I meant nothing other than North Korea.e.g. "Olympus has fallen" After analysing such scenarios, i concluded that US are using propaganda through any means available to redicule, undergrade reputation, destroy, to cause hatred, internal wars... to any country/nation that tries or has any urge to go against their whims and desires!
Not to alarm anyone, but do you agree that there is no turning back the clock? Even though there have always been wars throughout history, the safer, less destructive world of the pre-nuclear age is over. The crisis in the Middle East, which has been there for millennia, is now becoming a nuclear threat. Iran and Syria are still conspiring to get more and more powerful missiles into the Gaza Strip (see post below entitled "Breaking News"). Make no mistake, when (no longer if) Iran gains nuclear weapons, it will use them. Russia, a major nuclear power can do as it pleases in Crimea, Ukraine and beyond. North Korea and Pakistan and China cannot be trusted. It's only a matter of time before terrorists develop dirty bombs. The Doomsday Clock sits at 11:55, and this was before the current crisis with Russia. My question is a simple one but the most important one: Are you ready to meet Jesus? The world is going to do what the world is going to do and we can't stop it. But we can be ready. Jesus said that when t ...
"Now when Chuck Hagel was nominated to be Secretary of Defense I strongly objected based on his record as a Senator and some of his comments about our allies in the Middle East that absolutely scared the living daylights out of me. My fears they were not unfounded as this week Hagel proudly announced his proposal to further gut the military readiness of our nation by drastic troop reductions and cuts to our military families with housing, food, and family health care. For the past 100 years Presidents and our nation's top warriors have warned of putting our guard down. Both Democrat and Republican presidents from Calvin Coolidge, to Franklin Roosevelt, to Harry Truman, to Eisenhower, to Reagan reminded us that in a dangerous world readiness to fight is the foundation of our freedom. The best military minds in our nation's history from MacArthur, to Omar Bradley, to David Petraeus warned of lowing ourselves into this stupid stupor of thinking that the world would be safer and more peaceful if we just holst ...
WHAT CRISIS? Some people are seeing the unfolding of a crisis of international proportions over the Crimea/Ukraine situation. Some have gone as far as seeing the spectre of a Third World War. How laughable! Nothing could be more farfetched. Putin will flex his muscles in both Crimea and Ukraine as much as he likes, reinstate a friendly government in Ukraine, and sit back and laugh off those empty threats from Obama and his western allies. Are those talking of war suggesting that the US and her allies could ever intervene militarily in Ukraine? They would never even if Russia carried out a full military operation, including full occupation, in Ukraine. Probably what these people do not realize is that Russia remains an unshakable giant totally immune to West's international shenanigans, but that the West so desperately relies on Russia to keep North Korea and Iraq in check. Likewise, the Middle East peace process and what little sanity prevails there at the moment would be dead in the water without Russia ...
Ukranian Neo-Nazis. Russia on the verge to expand into Ukraine and potentially Georgia. Economical sactions on Russia. North Korea successfully luanches test missiles. Japan and China raising tensions between each other. War in the Middle East continues. Is this a prelude to World War 3?
I have a serious question for someone to ponder. The question is simple, China hates us, North Korea hate us, Russia hates us, the people in the Middle East hate us. So how do we know they're not working together to destroy America by pulling us in different directions. Including our attentions to different places because China never helps us with anything, especially with North Korea. Russia is just a big pain in the *** because Putin wants to be the bad boy in the sandbox, everybody in the Middle East is just folding in on each other trying to be the biggest kid on the block and all the people around these dictators stand by and watch it all happen and while they profit we spend mineyvwe have to borrowbto handle the problem. Coming to us for help we spread ourselves out send we spend all our money helping them. Then they can recall the loans and they come in and take us apart. Maybe even divvy up the country. But only after they disrm the population.
I just don't get it. Why are the Democrats do determined to undermine themselves by starting to insult the American People. First, Mrs. Obama refers to the young generation as "knuckleheads" on national TV. Then, Majority Leader in the Senate, Democrat Harry Reid calls average citizens liars because they voice concerns and tell their "horror stories" about the Obama Care debacle. Then they disparage our Military by deciding to cut the force level back to pre-World War 2 levels -- just at the time the terror alert and threats are rising, Iran is ready to go nuclear, North Korea is a nuclear disaster waiting to happen, China has declared its intention to become the dominant force in the Pacific, the Middle East is sitting on the edge of exploding, South America is starting to implode, and Russia is conducting 'training exercises' next to Ukraine. I just don't get why the Democrats insist on demonizing the Koch Brothers and accusing them of buying elections, yet one of the vulnerable Democrats up for re ...

The entire purpose of the wars of the 19th and 20th century was to create a GLOBAL TRADING ZONE. The RULES OF COMMERCE today are practically UNIVERSAL in EVERY COUNTRY. Just look at "copyright law" for example. This trading zone now FULLY encompasses ALL areas EXCEPT Russia, North Korea, selected parts of the Middle East and ALL OF AFRICA. And they have chosen to go after Africa FIRST. For those of you so ASTHMATIC BRAINS this will seem inconsequential since you can't think beyond the parameters of the 5 block radius of slums that you call "home" but for those with an I.Q. larger than the 7 dwarfs you can see how this GLOBAL ENTERPRISE SYSTEM can be used to your advantage as well as your detriment. It ALSO gives you some idea THE LENGTHS THEY WILL GO TO in order to PROTECT IT.
Violence against Christians is rising across the Middle East. Open Doors USA's CEO David Curry investigates for the December issue of Townhall Magazine. Christians in the Middle East and around the world are being persecuted, impris- oned and martyred for their faith. There is widespread, systematic violence and no one in the mainstream media and government seems to have noticed. We may see the elimination and extinction of Christianity in its very birthplace, with- out a whimper of protest from the West. Today tens of millions of people live under oppression, persecution and danger simply for identifying themselves as followers of Jesus Christ. In fact, according to Pew Research, nearly 75 percent of the world lives in a country where Religious Freedom is highly restricted. And many of these believers are Christians. Some of the greatest persecution is in the Middle East, but it also exists in totalitarian regimes like North Korea, which is the worst persecutor of Christians, according to the Open Doors ...
(I am not 100% positive, but I do not believe that they need a long range missile to be capable of exploding one in our atmosphere) Iran's Ballistic Missile Program Michael Elleman Iran has the largest and most diverse ballistic missile arsenal in the Middle East. (Israel has more capable ballistic missiles, but fewer in number and type.) Most were acquired from foreign sources, notably North Korea. The Islamic Republic is the only country to develop a 2,000-km missile without first having a nuclear weapons capability. Iran is still dependent on foreign suppliers for key ingredients, components and equipment, but it should eventually be able to develop long-range missiles over time, including an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile or ICBM. The military utility of Iran’s current ballistic missiles is limited because of poor accuracy, so missiles are not likely to be decisive if armed with conventional, chemical or biological warheads. But Tehran could use its missiles as a political or psychological weapo ...
'The Hal Lindsey Report' Every year, an organization called Open Doors publishes its "World Watch." It includes a list of the fifty countries in the world guilty of the worst persecution of Christians. This year, North Korea and Somalia topped the list. Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan rounded out the top five. That means that the United States is heavily involved with three of the five worst offenders in the world. Further, Libya was placed in the category of "Extreme Persecution" and Egypt received a "Severe Persecution" rating. The U.S. helped the rebels overthrow the government in Libya and the Administration helped bring Mohamed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood to power in Egypt. Before the "Arab Spring" uprising, Syria was known for its religious tolerance (not its political tolerance). Though President Bashar al-Assad has plenty of blood on his hands, the violence toward Christians in Syria is not being perpetrated by the government. The killing and torturing of Christians is primarily the work of the ...
This is a good take on the "State of the Union"' as written in a comment. The State of the Union? Well lets see.we are 17 trillion in debt.unemployment is about 7%.a record number of people are getting food stamps...ObamaCare is a mess.our military is being gutted.Chinese are on the moon.NASA...whats that?? Iran is building nukes.North Korea has them...Russia is regaining strength the Ukraine is a mess as is most of the Middle East.the NSA is spying on every word you and I type...the IRS is investigating anyone opposed to the governement...the majority of the people in the US think the President is a liar and incompetent.hardly anyone thinks Congress is worth spit.veteran's benefits are being cut...the war in Afghanistan continues...housing starts are down...the stock market has dropped 1000 points this month... So...the state of the union.looks pretty crappy to me...but hey...we got hope.2016 is only two years away. Any Questions America? If you agree please pass this on too, My shoulders are big enough ...

Israel, Iran and Cowboy Logic - Soapbox 01/06/14 I don't claim to be an expert on the Middle East Foreign Policy - or anything else for that matter - and I view world events in a cut to the chase, stripped down method I call Cowboy Logic, and for those of you who haven't read my explanation in some of my earlier columns, let me enlighten you. Cowboy logic: 2 and 2 is always 4 Water never runs uphill If there's smoke, there's a fire somewhere. Simplistic? Yes. Dignified or intellectual? No, but it cuts through a ton of red tape, hyperbole, doubletalk and “diplomatese" and gets to the heart of the matter where all meaningful conversations and opinions have to end up eventually. Fact: Iran is not worthy of enough trust to fill a child's toy tea cup set, much less the trust of a gullible Western world which enforces the sanctions that have brought them to their fiscal knees and they'll say anything and promise anything to get them lifted. Fact: Iran has their sights set on a weapon of mass destruction and a ...
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12 Today's Preaching Insight... To War or Not to War: Who Wins? In one fashion or another, we are all war veterans. Consider some staggering information that impacts all our lives: A group of scholars recently reported that since 3,600 B.C. our world has known only 292 years of peace! In 5,603 years, about 4 billion people (that's two-thirds of today's world population!) have died in more than 14,000 wars, large and small. The value of property lost in all those wars equals a solid gold belt 97 miles wide and 33 feet thick around our entire planet. That's some belt! Yes, indeed, we're all war veterans! World leaders once more rattle sabers on the nightly news. Already men and women from our armed forces and those of our allies are waiting on the ground in the Middle East and close to North ...
Canada Calls for Peace Among Religious Communities over Christmas December 24, 2013 - Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird and Andrew Bennett, Canada’s Ambassador for Religious Freedom, today issued the following statement: “On behalf of all Canadians, we wish all Christians, whether they follow the Gregorian or Julian calendar, a very Merry Christmas. “In these times of Christmas celebration, we remain mindful of those Christians facing persecution, violence and hardship in many parts of the world. “Year after year, we see violence and persecution around the world against religious communities. From attacks on Nigerian Christians worshipping peacefully over Christmas, to difficulties faced in Pakistan, China, North Korea, Egypt and elsewhere in the Middle East, we call for greater freedom for those trying to worship in peace. “Religious Freedom is a human issue and is a fundamental human right that we believe people of all faiths should enjoy. “In 2014, Canada will continue to lead the fight f ...
I can clearly see Obama is a weasel! Look at the mess he has caused by his gun running plan called “Fast and Furious” and the death of our boarder agents. What about his failure to protect our citizens who cried for protection at Benghazi? To this day he will not let the survivors tell what happen there. What about his attacks on the people he does not like by the IRS for his political gain. What about his spineless dealings in the Middle East and North Korea. What about his medaling in some local issues around the country just to stir the flames of racism. What about his use of the NSA to spy on all American citizens. He calls those phony scandals; ask the victims and the families of the dead, if their losses were phony? Why usually intelligent people believe him astounds me. He promised to have the most Open Government. If “we the people” were to look for the truth we would ask why is he blocking the statements of the witnesses form getting to the public, or even the Congress? The reason is b .. ...
My holiday within the area of Southern Africa was short but too demanding. What I remember the most is my journey in Johannesburg, a city I never had the opportunity to go through apart from passing by the international airport, a city crowded with a variety of migrants, a city where time management is of great value, and where time really means money. From there, I went to Mandela's house at Houghton where I paid tribute to the late statesman together with hundreds of people. I also enjoyed meeting journalists from the entire world that were covering the celebrations. My bad experience came from British Airways that delayed the flights on both ways. And I also didn't like the treatment that they offer. I didn't feel like special. So, I thought that I would take a nap while moving from time to time but I couldn't. I rather went to many places to spend the whole day and this took all my energy. I am now back to Town and I am preparing for new ventures to the Middle East or North Korea.
Dear China and Japan, I know that of recent you've had your problem, but if you go to war, we get dragged in. And if we're dragged in, North Korea joins with South Korea. And if they join, then Russia can go do whatever they want to Europe (sorry Europe). Then the entire Middle East can do whatever, oil prices sky-rocketing, South America would start building its super power, and Africa will still be dirt poor and dying. So if you could not do that, that would be great. Sincerely, The USA
"Sick of" I'm so sick of hearing about North Korea! & the Middle East there in the news everyday! Can't forget the dirty filthy corrupt pigs on wall st! The devil will have your soul. Politicians go on stage to write a play!!.. That look you in the eye, & pretend to sell you the American dream! They only run lip service to the highest bider & capitalize with a smile! They don't even have to fight, they sleep good at nite. Call up Betsy Ross so she can catch a flight. The American People woke up one nite & saw the light?
Biden on delicate mission to defuse tensions in East Asia WASHINGTON, Dec 1 (Reuters) - U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will try to strike a delicate balance of calming military tensions with China while supporting ally Japan against Beijing on a trip to Asia this week that is being overshadowed by a territorial dispute in the East China Sea. Aiming to counter criticism that the United States is neglecting Asia because it is distracted by domestic politics and the Middle East, the White House has long been planning a visit by Biden to Japan, China and South Korea. Those countries are at the heart of a quarrel over two tiny islands claimed by both Tokyo and Beijing that descended into military brinkmanship after China in late November declared an "air defense identification zone" that includes the islands. In Tokyo on Tuesday, Biden will likely assure Japan that a military alliance with the United States dating back to the 1950s remains valid as the government of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe wrangles with China ...
Truman had long taken an interest in the history of the Middle East, and had read many books on ancient history and the events related in the Bible. He was sympathetic to those who sought a Jewish homeland in Mandatory Palestine. As a senator, he had assured Jewish leaders of his support for Zionism, and at a 1943 rally in Chicago had called for a homeland for those Jews who survived the Nazi regime. A Jewish homeland in Palestine was widely popular in the United States, and Jewish support could be key in the upcoming presidential election. However, State Department officials were reluctant to offend the Arabs, who were opposed to the establishment of a Jewish state in their midst. Secretary of Defense James Forrestal warned Truman of the importance of Saudi Arabian oil in another war; Truman replied that he would decide his policy on the basis of justice, not oil.[92] Furthermore, when diplomats were called home from the Middle East to advise Truman and promoted the Arab point of view, Truman told them h ...

November 24th – Since a similar deal with North Korea in 1993 went so well, the lib media, who would rather eat glass than report on the latest Obamacare failure, is ecstatic about the deal with Iran. But do you know who else is turning cartwheels? None other than Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei himself. From the Islamic Republic News Agency: “Supreme Leader hails efforts of nuclear negotiating team” Isn’t that nice, only last Wednesday the now happy Ayatollah addressed tens of thousands of Basij militiamen all shouting “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” Khamenei soon joined in on the fun, saying Israelis “cannot be called human beings.” So as Iran plays the proverbial shell game, the EU and China gets their oil, Russia increases its role as world power broker, the Middle East will soon be in a nuclear arms race and O gets a tee-shirt that reads: “I threw Israel under the bus!” What could go wrong? Leave it to our clueless media to trust a regime that exports t ...
OBAMA Foreign Policy: What kind of world super power are we when we lift sanctions on a country *** bent on ruling the Middle East by any means in exchange for a promise they would not develop nuclear weapons? Did we not see this same deal cut by Bill Clinton with North Korea? While he let Monica practice his flute, North Korea developed nuclear weapons under his watch. Doubt what I say? When in history would Saudi Arabia allow Israel access to its airports unless they saw this historic FKUP in the same vein?
Congratulations to all Iranians, Americans, Europeans, Israelis, Arabs, Kurds, Turks, the Syrian people under siege, and all others (with their fingers crossed) hoping that the 5+1's interim nuclear deal with the IRI points to a future in the Middle East without the spectre of nuclear weaponization, one without state sanctioned violence, foreign intervention and global terrorism backed by any of the aforementioned countries, and a diplomatic breakthrough in the warring manner and rhetoric that has plagued and predominated the politics of this region so far. Ultimately this deal addresses, albeit temporarily, a number of longstanding and key concerns: 1. A nuclear armed Iran: Iran as a nuclear power is one of the biggest threats to its own homegrown Civil Rights Movements, its ethnic, religious, and sexual minorities, and the Middle East peace process. While the treaty acknowledges (albeit in vague terminology) Iran's legal and justified right to peaceful nuclear energy, strong measures have been put into ...
Do we take consolation that all the ASEAN giants; Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia all did badly in the Asian Cup qualification? My be our players were happy winning the Merdeka Tournament and looking to retain the SEA Games gold? Maybe the boys are thinking of who is going to offer them lucrative contracts for next season? Maybe we shouldn't send teams to Europe anymore for exposure and experience? What for? Send them to the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iran) and also the Orient (Japan, South Korea, China) as our standards are too low compared to the Asian giants. *** maybe a 3 month camp at North Korea can teach our coach and players a thing or two about patriotism and discipline, where players die for their God..err, I meant leaders and country. And its *** of a lot cheaper. Qatar played good one touch football last night and could have won bigger except for heroic saves from KFC. Our midfield was terrible and all over the place, and should have brought on Nazmi Faidz Mansor earlie .. ...
Tensions with allies rise, but U.S. sees improved China ties With ties between Washington and many close allies strained because of eavesdropping revelations and differences over U.S. policies in the Middle East, the Obama administration can take some comfort from an improvement in ties with China. A year after China's President Xi Jinping took over the helm of the country's ruling Communist Party, senior U.S. officials say they see increased cooperation on a range of issues from climate change to North Korea's nuclear weapons ambitions. They also regard greater bilateral military contacts as an important safety valve if there are any potential flare-ups. On the economic front, Washington is focused on China's Nov. 9-12 Communist Party conclave where Xi's blueprint for making the world's second-largest economy more open is expected to be unveiled. Xi's administration already has spawned optimism with an agreement to reopen bilateral investment treaty talks and a pilot free trade zone in Shanghai that augu ...
A GLOBAL SLAUGHTER OF CHRISTIANS, BUT AMERICA'S CHURCHES STAY SILENT It’s time to shatter the silence and mobilize the prayer warriors. We know that Christian persecution has increased significantly in the Middle East. The Arab Spring has turned into the Christian Winter. In Egypt, scores of churches and Christian buildings have been burned down in the last few months. Christians are being targeted in Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, and Nigeria, among other places.  “Egypt is in the midst of an anti-Christian pogrom. Supporters of ousted Muslim Brotherhood president Mohamed Morsi are lashing out at the country’s Copts for the offense of being Christian in Egypt.” Persecution today continues to rear its ugly head in various places around the globe, such as in remnant Communist countries, like Vietnam or North Korea. But anti-Christian persecution is especially found in the Middle East and those places where the philosophy of Islamism — a supremacist form of Islam — prevails. It’s a cliché by now, bu ...
"On behalf of St James Ethics Centre, the Wheeler Centre, The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, The Age The City of Melbourne and the ABC All of whom have worked together to make this event possible I would like to welcome Philip Wollen ((Applause)) King Lear, late at night on the cliffs asks the blind Earl of Gloucester “How do you see the world?” And the blind man Gloucester replies “I see it feelingly”. Shouldn’t we all? Animals must be off the menu because tonight they are screaming in terror in the slaughterhouse, in crates, and cages. Vile ignoble gulags of despair. I heard the screams of my dying father as his body was ravaged by the cancer that killed him. And I realised I had heard these screams before. In the slaughterhouse, eyes stabbed out and tendons slashed, on the cattle ships to the Middle East and the dying mother whale as a Japanese harpoon explodes in her brain as she calls out to her calf. Their cries were the cries of my father. I discovered when we suffer, we suffer as equa ...
As Iran cleverly hedges itself towards nuclear weaponisation, we will be dealt with one of the most starkest option. "The United States and its allies confront today two major regional proliferation challenges. In Northeast Asia, North Korea is pushing its de facto nuclear power status, expanding its production facilities and testing ballistic delivery systems. In the Middle East, Iran continues to approach the nuclear weapons threshold, driving up the risks of a preventative war or destabilising arms race. In both cases the US has leaned heavily on coercive diplomacy to support its policy objectives - to compel Pyongyang to dismantle its nuclear weapons and to deter Tehran from advancing further toward them. But the US has so far failed in the first instance and had intermittent success at best in the second. With Iran the picture is fuzzier because the goal today is to deter weaponisation rather than to compel de-weaponisation. Increasing Iran's isolation by distancing Russia from it - especially in the ...
A Darker Agenda By Patrick Wyett - “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). While contemplating and praying about the next article to write, I have to tell you the topic I had in mind wasn’t this one. Sure, I had an idea, but the Lord had other plans. I’m going with His leading. In articles past, I’ve written about the geopolitics of what’s happening in the Middle East, the political, financial, and sectarian reasons behind some of the “whys.” Yet there is a darker agenda at work, one that all the others play into. “And it was given unto him [the Beast] to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:7). This passage describes the culmination of Satan’s plans to destroy Christians during the reign of the coming Antichrist. Such an ambitious ...
Iran's cyberwarfare czar is allegedly assassinated As the Middle East country beefs up its cyberforces, Mojtaba Ahmadi, the head of its Cyber War Headquarters, is said to be found with two bullet wounds near his heart It's no secret that Iran has been in a years-long cyberwar with both the US and Israel. Since 2010, Iran has been fending off malware attacks by Stuxnet, Flame, Duqu, and other worms, which allegedly hail from the US and Israel and target Iran's power and nuclear plants. In August, newly leaked National Security Agency documents showed that US spy agencies carried out 231 offensive cyberattacks in 2011, primarily aimed at Iran, Russia, North Korea, and China. For its part, Iran also has been beefing up its cyberforces -- prompting concern among US officials. The country has been blamed for several cyberattacks, including one that hit US banks late last year and for collaborating with Syria's regime through a hacking collective known as the Syrian Electronic Army. Besides the alleged assassin ...
Yes being lead astray by hate and pride which is indeed weakness. Teach children to reason and stand on the truth. be unshakable in the Lord Jesus Christ. Now it is time to make that investment pay. He is worse than Hitler! His blood bath will not stop in the Middle East. It will make it even to Australia Psycho Marines are already planned to be permanently stationed here in Australia. The Nation of USA is going broke! They justify it by saying survival of the fittest but it is not the fittest or most talented it is prosperity to the most greedy. the pursuit of happiness d ...
wow, America has compiled a bunch of enemies, *** Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan Pakistan, Iran, Syria, and India. (not to mention South and Latin America and other in the Middle East and Africa, and North Korea)
A Sheep No More Rothschild Zionist Israel’s Illegal Nuclear Chemical and Biological Weapon of Mass destruction Israel is widely believed to be the sixth country in the world to develop nuclear weapons[5] and to be one of four nuclear-armed countries not recognized as a Nuclear Weapons State by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), the others being India, Pakistan and North Korea.[6] International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Mohamed ElBaradei regards Israel as a state possessing nuclear weapons,[7] but Israel maintains a policy known as "nuclear ambiguity" (also known as "nuclear opacity"). Israel has never officially admitted to having nuclear weapons, instead repeating over the years that it would not be the first country to "introduce" nuclear weapons to the Middle East, leaving ambiguous whether it means it will not create or will not use the weapons. Israel began investigating the nuclear field just one year after its 1948 founding and with French support secretly began building a nu ...

Repeating my old article: "Rothschild": In the year 2000 there were seven countries without a Rothschild-owned Central Bank. They were Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea and Iran. Now only 3 countries, Iran, N.Korea and Cuba are left without Rothschild’s financial domination. World Trade Center is an act by Israel with the complicity of Britain and America, under the orders of the Rothschild. Why? These are the reasons: 1. To establish Rothschild Central Banks in the Middle East. (By now, only a few countries in the world DO NOT have Rothschild owned banks! Today, Afghanistan and Iraq have Rothschild Central Banks after the United States invaded!) 2. To take away rights and freedoms of the American People, us giving up liberties for safety. 3. To follow Albert Pike's plan (plz google for his prediction in 1871) for the beginning of the 3rd World War, to begin racial strife against the Islamic world. 4. To create a massive amount of wars to generate more money from it, while again, settin ...

My Newspaper Column (in English)- from July 7, 2013 Hallyu: Not there yet (or Hallyu’s steep climb) Are we truly as global as we think we are? Is Hallyu really a WAVE of culture sweeping the world? Or are we just propagandizing ourselves to feel better about the immense efforts we make for Hallyu? Or something in between? Nowadays Koreans celebrate what is believed to be the success of Hallyu, spreading Korean culture throughout the world. Whether on KBS, MBC, SBS or Arirang TV, you can’t turn on the radio or TV without hearing the word Hallyu multiple times in an hour. The spread of K-pop, K-dramas, and K-culture through Latin America, Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia and pockets of North America has indeed been witnessed. Dae Jang Gum and Psy are known even in the Kalahari. And let’s also acknowledge some facts that have helped to drive the success of Korean dramas and pop music worldwide- but also apply to other countries as well (like Turkey). Ultra fast internet. US Secretary of State John Kerry flew from tough Middle East peace talks into international meetings in Asia on Monday devoted to a full plate of sensitive issues including North Korea's nuclear programme and fugitive leaker Edward Snowden.
A Global Democracy PolicyPublished: November 08, 2003SIGN IN TO E-MAILPRINT Addressing the National Endowment for Democracy on Thursday, President Bush sought to look beyond the current bloody chaos in Iraq. Successfully implanting a democratic government in Iraq, he predicted, would energize a democratic revolution that would sweep away tyrannies from Cuba to North Korea. Specifically, Mr. Bush proclaimed a new ''forward strategy'' for advancing freedom in the Middle East, rightly declaring that 60 years of excusing and accommodating dictatorships there ''did nothing to make us safe'' because stability cannot be purchased at liberty's expense. Mr. Bush spoke well. He is right that Washington has failed to support abroad the values Americans live by at home. Too often, putting realpolitik ahead of freedom has backfired, causing anti-American rage. Mr. Bush is not the first president to promise to put democracy at the forefront of American policy. We hope he does a better job delivering on his promises tha ...
The Palin Doctrine By Patrick J. Buchanan On U.S. military intervention in Syria's Civil War, where "both sides are slaughtering each other as they scream over an arbitrary red line 'Allahu akbar' ... I say let Allah sort it out." So said Sarah Palin to the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference. And, as is not infrequently the case, she nailed it. Hours later, Gideon Rachman of the Financial Times, at length, echoed Palin: "Those who are urging the US to get more deeply involved in the Syrian conflict now are living in the past." Four fundamental changes make it "no longer realistic, or even desirable, for the US to dominate" the Middle East as we did from the Suez crisis of 1956 through the Iraq invasion of 2003. The four changes: the failures of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, the Great Recession, the Arab Spring and emerging U.S. energy independence. Indeed, with $2 trillion sunk, 7,000 U.S. troops dead, 40,000 wounded, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Afghans dead, and millions of refugees, what do ...
The Substance and Spirit of Democracy There is indeed such a thing as universal values, and democracy is one of them. Democracy was one of the two key objectives of the May Fourth Movement back in 1919, the other one being Science. Students at that time wanted to modernize China through democracy and science. Today, the ideal of democracy is endorsed in countries ranging from North Korea and Vietnam in the East to Egypt and Israel in the Middle East to the UK and the US in the West. Today we have a social movement in Hong Kong that aims to bring “genuine democracy” and “true universal suffrage” when the next Chief Executive of the SAR is to be appointed. This highly controversial social movement is causing a stir and has become highly divisive, and a worry that the very foundation that has held up Hong Kong in the past one hundred years through thick and thin may be shaken. This is truly unfortunate, and totally unnecessary. It is too bad that too many people do not understand the true mea ...

Oil supported by Middle East worries, all eyes on Fed * Fed could stem asset purchase programme in H2 -poll * EIA crude stocks post unexpected rise Brent oil rose on Wednesday supported by fears that violence in Syria could spread elsewhere in the region, disrupting supply, while investors looked to a meeting of the Federal Reserve later in the day for clues on the outlook for continuing stimulus. Brent futures for August delivery were up 25 cents to $106.27 a barrel by 1436 GMT, on track for their highest close since April 4. U.S. crude for July delivery turned slightly negative after data from the Energy Information Administration posted a gain in crude oil stocks of 313,000 barrels against a forecast drop of 700,000 barrels. It was trading down 4 cents at $98.40 at around the same time. The EIA data contrasted with that from the American Petroleum Institute on Tuesday which showed commercial crude oil stocks fell by around 4 million barrels last week. That was more than the 500,000 barrel drop analysts ...
Just watched "Olympus has Fallen" with Morgan Freeman. It was nothing more than a war propaganda film advocating war with North Korea. Of course there was the token comment how the Middle East was celebrating the fall if the White House. The war machine knows that people are tired of all our children, Money, and resources going to war. So they get Hollywood to produce this crap to make people fearful of attack. Shame on Hollywood, the actors, and any movie goer that left with the feeling of needing to protect the USA through war. Wake up people, before its too late!
US assisting Middle Eastern allies against cyber threats from Iran The US is assisting Middle East allies in building up cyber defences to counter growing attacks from Iran, it was reported on Sunday. The New York Times, citing senior American officials, said computer software, hardware and training was being provided to pro-Washington countries in the Persian Gulf to diffuse the growing threat from Tehran. Plans to bolster the computer defences of US allies will be extended to parts of Asia in a bid to blunt the perceived threat of network attacks from North Korea. The Obama administration has long been believed to have been involved in cyberwarfare against Tehran, with earlier reports suggesting the president ordered a series of sophisticated attacks on the computer systems that run the country's nuclear programme. On Friday, the Guardian further revealed that Obama had set up a list of potential overseas targets for US cyber-attacks. The leaked directive authorises the use of cyber-attacks on foreign n ...

Obama was an idealist guy, today, he had carried on Bush style of water boarding, wire tapping, cyber space spying, drone project, Obama is better than Bush, terms of avoid war, selective military isolationist, will save USA trillion of dollars. 1) Taiwan, North Korea, kick the can down the road, maintain status quo 2) Middle East, play dumb, act dumb, ignore and don't give a *** 3) South China Sea, play dumb, act dumb. 4) Human Rights ??? USA Human Rights yes, China Human Rights, that is their children, their problems to sort it out. 5) Business as usual, no touchy issue.
Lucius Sulla If we should ever find out the totality of what happened in Benghazi - from the White House down - the truth would be utterly devastating. There have been questions asked about the reasons Ambassador Stevens went of an after-hour meeting away from the Embassy and who he was meeting with. What was so important that the Ambassador himself felt the need away from his office at night and meet with folks that did not hold consular rank? I have spoken a number of times about the movement of nukes to Syria, Egypt, Libya and Iran. These nukes were moved from Russia via North Korea into Iran for distribution to the nations that intend to invade Israel. China is also complicit in this as well. China seeks to become a super power. It was no coincidence that China showed up in the midst of the North Korean situation - complete with a brand new super carrier built from U.S. technology. It was their job to oversee the transition of the weapons from North Korea to the Middle East. Since this original writin ...
Obama has made a lot of promises — and nothing ever happened. He once boasted that he’d bring the Israelis and Palestinians to the negotiating table and create a permanent peace in the Middle East. Nothing happened. He said he’d open a constructive dialogue with America’s enemies in Iran and North Korea and, through his special powers of persuasion, help them see the error of their ways. And nothing happened. He said he’d solve the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression and put millions of people back to work. And nothing happened. He may yet try to back out of his promise to Hillary Clinton. But as Obama’s presidency sinks deeper into scandal and inaction, the question is — will Clinton even still want his endorsement? January 26, 2005Drink, Pray, Fight,How the Scots Irish Screwed Up AmericaBy Joe BageantYou may not meet them among your circle of friends, but there are millions of Americans who fiercely believe we should nuke North Korea and Iran, seize the Middle East's oil, and replace the U.S. Constitution with the Christian Bible. They believe the United States will conquer the entire world and convert it to our notions of democracy and fundamentalist Christian religion. And that will happen says my Christian neo-conservative friend Dave Henderson, "when we elect a man with the balls to use our nukes." You may not believe me, and if you don't I cannot blame you for never having been exposed to such folks. Only an *** or a masochistic observer of the American scene would subject himself or herself to these Americans. I like to think I am the latter, but the jury is still out.In understanding how such ominous political ideations manifested themselves in this country, it helps to look back 450 years to a group of Cel . ...

U.S. military must find ways to meet global threats - and budget demands WASHINGTON -- Pirates prowl the high seas. Terrorists flex their muscles in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. China gets stronger. Russia grows increasingly inscrutable, and Iran and North Korea remain unpredictable. Trying to find footing in this shifting landscape of international power plays and intrigues is the American military, which right now appears more focused on how to adjust to mandatory budget cuts because the White House and Congress were unable to reach a deal to stop them. Perhaps lost in the debate is the bigger question: What role... ~magmaw
Could someone please explain why we went over there messing with Saddam Hussein due to false allegations of him having weapons of “mass destruction,” but will not lift a finger towards North Korea who has never bit their tongue about their nuclear possessions? And if we had not started that nonsense in the Middle East, would gas prices have remained under 2 dollars a gallon?
Impose “military sanctions” on Iran, Netanyahu says, while Israeli Ambassador says red line will be reached by summer. by joelcrosenberg Military sanctions? Even as President Obama and his team are preparing a major tour through Israel and the Middle East next month, two Israeli leaders today significantly ratched up the prospect of an Israeli military strike by this summer. "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented Wednesday on the nuclear negotiations between the West and Iran, saying that the six powers should clarify to Tehran that if it continues to pursue its nuclear program it would face 'military sanctions,'" reports Ynet News in Israel. "As the talks drew to their end, Netanyahu said that if Iran's refusal persists, 'There are other means of compelling Iran to adhere to the international community's demands.'" "Netanyahu said that it was unlikely that the Islamic Republic would capitulate to the West's demands, and curb its nuclear endeavors," noted Ynet. "'Just like North Korea, (Iran) co ...

North Korea has developed nuclear weapons and is in the process of establishing a delivery system to strike the United States. Iran is probably less than six months away from joining the nuclear club and with its new found muscle has promised to wipe Israel off the map, which would send the entire Middle East and the U.S. on a path of nuclear extinction. SO.People speak on all the attacks on America, such as the attack on an Embassy today. Iran Contra, Desert Storm, World Trade Center in '93?. Why is it that people haven't asked this question... What has the US done in the middle east on the ground that has made these countries hate us so much? The "they don't like our lifestyle" defense doesn't float with the thinking man. No one is this persistent because they "dont like our freedoms". What is being withheld from us that on all levels may affect who we vote for. Whats being done in our name that we dont know about that we would not approve of? Say " How can a country do things without its residents knowing about it?" Ever heard of a place called North Korea. Food for thought as the flag waves in front of your and my door.
South Korea just successfully launched its first satellite into space via a rocket; North Korea did the same last month. And that's just the Korean Peninsula. Factor in other parts of Asia, the Middle East and Northern Africa... Secretary Kerry, it's going to be an interesting four years for you, sir.
Can some of my liberal friends please fill me in on Hillary's international success stories so I can get all teary eyed over her departure while the press slobbers all over her to mesmerize the uninformed voter for the next media manipulated election. Europe's in a double dip recession, Soviet Union quietly rebuilding, the entire Middle East is in complete meltdown, Africa in a complete melt down, North Korea with nuclear weapons, Iran either has or will soon have nuclear weapons south east Asia being overrun by radical Muslims, South America flooding the US with drugs, murder and gangs. GREAT JOB Hillary, can't wait for you to be president. Hey anybody know what ever happened to Hattie ? Happy Gasparila, go get your pirate on.
Scent of 'germ' warfare raises fear in the Mideast by Jill Bellamy van Aalst, Clare Lopez and Reza KahliliThe Washington TimesJanuary 24, 2013 sectarian war in Syria reportedly has claimed more than 60,000 lives and spawned concerns in the Middle East and the West about access to chemical weapons by non-state actors such as Al Qaeda, Hezbollah and Hamas. Syria's chemical weapons stockpiles are of immediate concern to Israel, Jordan and the United States, whether in Syrian President Bashar Assad's hands or those of terrorist organizations. Yet the locations of chemical weapons munitions and Scud missiles equipped with chemical warheads in Syria have been identified and are continually monitored. That is not the case with the arguably more dangerous biological weapons being developed by the nexus of Iran, Syria and North Korea. More than 167 nations have signed the United Nations Biological Weapons Convention. Syria is a signatory but has not ratified the treaty. Iran, also a signatory, has ratified it, but ...
Obama’s nomination of Chuck Hagel was meant to send a message, and he has: Obama is not serious about stopping Iran’s nuclear weapons program, and that Tehran has an anti-Israel ally in the president’s war cabinet. Chuck Hagel’s misguided policies on Iran and the Middle East have already received considerable coverage. Chief among them is his opposition to sanctions on Iran. Both in 2001 and 2008 (at which point the United Nations had already sanctioned Iran) Hagel steadfastly opposed sanctions against Tehran. Hagel has tried to explain away those votes, but he has also opposed sanctions against countries such as North Korea, Syria, Libya, and Cuba. This aversion to sanctions is incompatible with Obama’s strategy on Iran, and it’s also flat-out wrong (the progress we’ve seen in Burma is a direct result of sanctions). Hagel supporters say that the “Jewish lobby” is using paranoia and scare tactics to overhype the threat of a nuclear Iran. But Obama himself said that “a nuclear-armed Ira ...
If you didn't watch Greta Van Sustren earlier tonight I recommend you view her show shortly wherein the Middle East, ( including Iraq and Afghanastan ), Iran, Russia, China and North Korea are discussed in regard to U S Foreign Policy. The video spots in rapid succession go to such as Kissinger ( note his bandaged thumb and purple pigment on his hand and arm suggesting cancer ),Pat Buchanan, V P Chaney"s daughter, Senator McCain, former U N Rep Bolton. It is on FOX News, of course, and, is pretty interesting. I think Greta does well and the questions are direct, blunt and pertinent.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Now that his re- election is secured, President Barack Obama has a freer hand to deal with a world of familiar problems in fresh ways, from toughening America's approach to Iran and Syria while potentially engaging other repressive countries such as Cuba and North Korea and refocusing on moribund Middle East peace efforts. The first tweaks in his Iran policy could come within weeks, officials said. But a pressing task for Obama will be to assign a new team to carry out his national security agenda. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has announced her plans to retire but could stay a few weeks past January to help the administration as it reshuffles personnel. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is likely to depart shortly after her. CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus is expected to stay on. The favorite to succeed Clinton, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, would face a difficult Senate confirmation process after her much-maligned explanations of the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, ...
Let's look at the big picture: This debate was on Foreign Policy. Obama's record: 1. US Ambassador killed, first time in over 30 years. 2. 3 Navy Seals killed in Libya at the same time. 3. A helicopter of Navy Seals killed overseas in Afghanistan. 4. Radical Muslim Brotherhood takes over Egypt, a former Ally. 5. Venezuelan Hugo Chavez thumbs his nose at the US and endorses Obama for 2012. 6. White House leaks that are so severe that even long term Demoncratic Senator Dianne Feinstein was shocked. She is on the Senate Intelligence committee. 7. Israel has to embarrass Obama in a news conference pleading not to go back to 1967 borders. 8. Israelis don't believe Obama has their backs if they need to attack Iran's nuclear facility, creating great confusion with our main Middle East Ally. 9. Syria in deadly Civil War, 33,000 people killed. 10. Middle East in flames and riots and Anti American sentiment at an extremely low state. 11. Iran 4 years closer to a nuclear bomb. 12. North Korea continuing to threaten ...
At first glance, it's so hard to decide - they're both SO BAD, SO INCOMPETENT, in their own uniquely, individually, feckless way. Without James Earl Carter, Jr., the world would likely NOT have an Islamist Iran exporting its revolution, and terrrorism, throughout the Middle East and the rest of the world. Without the ever-helpful, ever-conscientious "Jimmuh," we wouldn't have a nuclear-armed North Korea, and no one outside the Venezuelan army would even know the name "Hugo Chavez." In so many ways, the Jimmy Carter presidency, and Jimmy Carter, himself, truly, was/is, the gift that keeps on giving. However, when it comes to nearly destroying much of what has made this country great, since its founding some 236 years ago, and in saddling countless, future generations of Americans, yet unborn, with a staggering amount of debt, a monstrous debt that is so large that they likely, will have no chance of EVER possibly repaying it, and in accumulating this debt, in such a frighteningly short amount of time one m ...
The key is to realize that Obama isn’t a fool. He isn’t getting results opposite to the ones he intends; rather, he intends the results he’s getting. He said during his inaugural speech that he wanted to remake America and transform its place in the world, and this is exactly what he is doing. Obama’s is an anti-colonialist, an ideology he adopted from his Kenyan father. Recall that Obama’s autobiography is titled “Dreams From My Father.” In that book, Obama details how he got his aspirations, his values, even his core identity, from his absentee father. In a sample passage, Obama writes, “It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa, that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself.” While anti-colonialism may be an unfamiliar word to many Americans, it is a very popular ideology even today in Asia, Africa, South America, and the Middle East. Anti-colonialism is the doctrine that holds that America and the West are the rogue nations of the world. Having adop ...
Based on a careful assessment of the most recent survey data available, we find that somewhere between 500,000,000 and 750,000,000 humans currently do not believe in God. Such figures render any suggestion that theism is innate or neurologically based untenable. The nations with the highest degrees of organic atheism (atheism which is not state-enforced through totalitarian regimes but emerges naturally among free societies) include most of the nations of Europe, as well as Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel. There also exist high degrees of atheism in Japan, Vietnam, North Korea, and Taiwan. Many former Soviet nations, such as Estonia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Belarus also contain significant levels of atheism. Atheism is virtually non-existent in much of the world, however, especially among the most populated nations of Africa, South America, the Middle East, and much of Asia. High levels of organic atheism are strongly correlated with high levels of societal health, such as low homicide rates, l ...
Opinion: We should intervene in Syria and do it now! Civil War is imminent and situations are running amuk in other Middle East countries. The U-Tube piece that went viral could prolong our Afganistan stay, has provoked Pakistan and others and threatens hostilities against us from around the globe. "Let's look at another nation, Israel. Alone as an island of democracy in the Middle East, Israel is surrounded by Arab nations who not only have sworn to her demise, but have enjoyed past backing and present-day arming by such nations as Russia and North Korea. Despite this, Israel today boasts one of the most robust economies in the world. At a time when western economies are struggling, Israel's economy is growing at a staggering rate."--Bob Guaglione, Senior Pastor, Calvary Chapel, Chadds Ford, PA
I had a dream last night that North Korea, feeling limited by its dependence on foreign aid and vulnerability to sanctions, began manufacturing and selling nuclear weapons to extremist groups in the Middle East - and that even though American intel knew this was going on, they kept quiet because as long as they could trace the funding of those groups to Iran it would give the US an excuse to go to all-out war with that country, with the ultimate goal of securing control of the Persian Gulf oil trafficking...a goal that was deemed worth the risk of isolated nuclear attacks and the civilian casualties that might entail. This would make an interesting movie! *Calls up Oliver Stone*
I've actually heard people say the UN is not the structure for a one-world government. Thank goodness for my sense of humor! The problem is that it will not be a one-world free country like the United States, but a one-world dictatorship like North Korea, Cuba, or the "former" Soviet Union a la Josef Stalin. And in order to have this, the only remaining free country has to become non-free, and that cannot be done without disarming the people. We know who we are, don't we, boys and girls? There will be no more places to hide. Won't it be grand? In 1998 I took my daughter Hayley (remember that, Greg, when I suggested you and I take our daughters to things like this?) to the University of Arizona Center for Creative Photography to see the display of portraits of Khmer Rouge killing fields victims in Cambodia. I asked Ly Suong, the presenter whose physician father and brother-in-law had disappeared during that period, what the UN had done to prevent the holocaust. He answered "They were the ones that c ...

More benefits of North America exporting/selling our oil will be to pay for our military and to pay for the war on terror/terrorists and to pay for our soldiers to kill the Taliban and all other terrorists to kill which are on the list to kill which are and will be Hamas, Alqueida and Hezbollah. When the Angela Fretz banning and abolishing sanitary napkin plastics act legislation/judicial reform legislation is signed which Angela's legislation will take action as soon as it is signed; President Mitt Romney or President Barack Obama will meet with each Middle East country and every African country including Nigeria since they are many terrorists in Nigeria and Nigera's government is unstable but Nigeria is safe enough for OPEC to export oil from so most likely the governmental sections of Nigeria are fairly safe except for Pakistan, North Korea and Iran and Syria and Egypt now that the Muslim Brotherhood dictates Egypt and our president will talk to each of those prime ministers and governments about peace ...
My people, there are nuclear enrichment programs here and there. Nations in the Middle East...Iran...North Korea...Pakistan, etc, are, particularly, out to challenge the collective security of the rest of the world. What definitive legal frameworks abound against nuclear indiscipline and illegitimate enrichment of fuel rods? Which countries are legally authorized to develop nuclear capability projects and which others are vetoed, and why? To what extent has the world...EU, US, UN, individual nations, International Atomic Energy Agency, etc, been involved and effective in addressing the rising challenges of global nuclear arms race, with such concomitant imminent probability and feasibility of sudden annihilation of human race in the 21st century? How sure are we, that, all of us are not almost at the threshold of a bitter experience of the atomic misfortune of Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Are there really hope for tomorrow? To be more informed... follow me from here, these two articles of mine, published in Ca ...
My Dad served, my uncles served, I served. I hate war and the political and commercial lies leading to it. Today, I read the story of 32 dead Syrian children, I read of the ineffectual United Nations which remains a debating society, I read of the stonewalling Russians with a Syrian naval base and who depend upon Syrian oil. And suddenly all that wove into an intestinal knot creating anger that precedes war. Then remembrance pulled me back to reality. Words like Sunni, Shiite, Alewite, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah and the words, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," instilled reticence. I thought of acronyms like 9/11, TSA, IED, WMD, SNAFU and FUBAR; roadside bombs, suicide vests, regime change, American interest, multiple tours. I thought about the impending Israel/Iran detonation and the Israeli/Palestinian convulsion. There's North Korea's bluster, Han Chinese diluting and dismantling Tibetan culture, 6 million children that die every year from hunger related causes, much of it through war. I feel tears ...
We actually live in a much smaller world then most people realize. Americans are war weary. Events like 911, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and the war in Afghanistan are rapidly fading from our collective memories. We now consider these events either the result of past misdeeds or egregious acts of imperialism. Consequently, we have shrugged off our responsibility as the worlds leading defender of liberty and freedom. World opinion has shifted. Our perceived weakness has emboldened the enemies of Democracy. Our allies now question our will and our ability to rally to their defense. The entire Middle East is poised to decline into the grip of radical Islam. Israel is in jeopardy of total destruction. North Korea has elevated it's Neculer threat level. Iran may already possess a neculer weapons. Europe is declining into an economic morass. Marxism and totalitarianism are on the rise in Central America. Why? Because we have abdicated our role as the leader of the Free World. Our national decline was by desi ...
